2 years ago, i had this huge crush on this girl.Never told her but she could tell by my body language and she very much showed that she was interested. So me and one of my friends got into an argument and I'm trying to get her to forgive me. *This is long* I recently just turned 20, the age where you become technically a man and people have to do whatever you say and stuff, but my parents have shown no willingness to treat me like an adult they must obey. I've been with him for over a year now and he is about 10 years older than I am. He's not like most men my age (early 20's) he's amazing in every single way. Funny, handsome, intelligent, spontaneous, romantic, wealthy and really knows how to make me feel on top of the world. The reason I say long distance is because he travels a lot for work. While he was away his friends and a family member passed away and he's devastated as anyone would be. It's hard for me to be there for him since he's so far away but I'm just wondering if anyone has had experience with something like this? This happened about a day ago and even then he was sending me sweet messages telling me he loves me but that he might be out of touch for a while. I understand him completely but what can I do to make him know I'm here? I've sent him 2 messages letting him know I love him and I'm here if he needs anything but how often should I write to him? What should I write to him without sounding needy (I miss him terribly, we usually talk to each other constantly thought out the day) I miss him but don't want him to feel as if he needs to be there for me while he's going through a tough time. My family doesn't support my major. I'm going to be an English major (yes, I know a lot of you are probably thinking I'm stupid for persuing this major) but I love and am great at anything English/literature related. Plus I want to be an author and I already have a book started. But I want to have this degree as a back up, to be a book editor or somewhere in the publishing industry. My family thinks I'm stupid for doing this and puts me down for it.

Basically, we met when we were 17. 18 now. Dated for 11 months and he got me into so much trouble and he was such a bad influence. and we lived together for a while after we graduated and that's when the abusive side came out. Basic gist, he would verbally abuse me and push all my buttons and put me down to the point where I would react. And either yell or just barely hit him on the chest or arm sometimes from being so frustrated and stressed from his verbal and emotional abuse. Sometimes I would not react and that would make him furious. and he would literally slap me so hard and bust my lip, make my eye swollen, etc. he's locked me in the car and slapped me and pulled chunks of my hair out before. Every time he did something abusive he would cry and act all sorry and then do it again. I got so tired of it and left. My husband and I are planning to buy a house here in Irving tx but we don t want to get a very expensive house or a very cheap one either. My husband had an appointment and he qualified to get 100,000 for a house. Well, he regret now going to the place because he believed his mom words that the kids are not supposed to have their own rooms because they are really young. They are 4 years old and 1 year old. I ve debated whether or not I should put this on the internet, but here it goes. My parents are splitting up and my dad moved out two weeks ago. Because of this, my brother with cerebral palsy had to move two hours away to live in a group home. He s my only sibling and he s been in and out of the hospital for the last five weeks.
