Question: How do I tell my aunt ( my dad's sister) NO in a nice way? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 01:42 PM PST I haven't seen my dads family or talked to them in 18 years until 2 years ago to surprise my great grandma for her 90th birthday. Then after that i never heard or seen them again. And now she wants me to send her a recent photo of me so she can put together a collage for them for christmas of all the grandkids and great grandkids. Like i feel like a little timid.
Posted: 02 Dec 2015 01:41 PM PST So my second cousin has a mother who is extremely conservative. Once she started learning of my hard partying ways she stopped talking to me or wanting to associate with me. Even to this day , even though she knows I do not party anymore, she still holds a chip on her shoulder against me about it. I am the only family member she refuses to associate with in anyway shape or form. She won't even agree to be friends on facebook, that's how much hate she has for me.
Question: My older sister molested me, need advice? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 01:37 PM PST hi, my older sister molested me about a year ago. She was 16 and I was 11 when it happened. she would make me take my clothes off and touched and rubbed my vagina a lot for about 2 months. I wanted to tell my parents but my sister threatened me if I did. she told me I would never have a normal life if I told my parents. I feel depressed and angry for what she did and I am starting to get bad grades in school. should I tell my parents or call the cops on her?? i still sleep in the same room as her and want out
Question: How can I get my little bro to trust me again? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 01:35 PM PST My little brother is 3( almost 4) and he got into my rooms so I shoved him out . I never meant to hurt him but he hit his head . The next day after I got home from school and my mom left for work I tried to apologize . when I got close to him he ran . I tried ten times and got the same reaction until he's about cried and ran into his room. I'm not a hypocrite so obviously I didn't go in there . Finaly when I was watching tv he came out and say by me . So I thought I would try again and this time and grab his arm if he tried to run . I'm just gonna say that was an awful idea . I tried explaining what happened to him and he listened but still didn't change anything . He's not acting like a brat if that's what anyone is thinking . It's not like he won't ever come near me its just when I try to talk to him he runs because he probably thinks I'm gonna yell and hurt him again . So anyways how do I get him to trust me .
Question: My dad said he'll shave my hair!!!!! Help! urgent!!!!!? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 01:28 PM PST So this morning I came down stairs with my hair messy. Like in a bun, but my dad was angry and ordered that I fix it before I go to school. I didn't listen and I just walked through the door to go to my bus. He shouted at me that he would shave my hair later and said that "you will learn not to disobey me". I'm really scared be my dad is like a very strict parent, and he grew up in China in a very conservative family and I'm almost positive he'll follow through and actually shave my hair. What should I do? I can't let this happen I'll be so embarrassed and I've been growing my hair long ever since I've been 12! I'm 14 now! What should I do!!!!! And my parents are divorced and my mom moved to California and I cannot go to her for guidence!!!!!!!!!!!
Question: MY LITTLE BROTHER IS THE MOST HORRIBLE PERSON I'VE MET, HE HATES ME AND I HATE HIM!? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 12:57 PM PST He is always making my life so miserable. He is a 9 year old, and I know "HE IS JUST A KID, CHILL DUDE". But seriously, when you have a sibling who intentionally breaks promises, lies, cheats to get me grounded, steals my chances and the worst thing- Is more loved by family AND FRIENDS! MY FRIENDS AS OLD AS HIM LOVE HIM MORE THAN ME! And he takes advantage of that and shows me up, and always owns me in a comeback battle. I don't know where he gets that language and stuff but he is miserable. He intentionally does that. And he even once made me miss out on going to the amusement park with friends and family by getting pissed aqt me and blaming me. I need help. I think I'll kill myself to never see him again. WHAT HAVE I EVER DONE TO HIM? HELP! And at other times, when I try to talk to him about his problems, he JUST USES HIS DAMN SQUEAKY VOICE AND TELLS ME TO SHUT UP! THE HELL? HE THEN RUNS OFF! It makes me scream out in rage, then my parents rush in, and he comes in with them, blames me, then I get the spanking. I do get physical with him sometimes.
Question: My mom is a freaking nutcase. What's wrong with her? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 12:53 PM PST First of all, it's good to be frugal, but she's straight up cheap. Even when her cheapness hurts and offends other people. She lies whenever it makes things easier for her. And then when she gets caught in a lie, she denies it, so she's lying about lying. She's very unintelligent. If I walk past her and I see her reading the paper and I ask here "what are you reading?" she will reply the paper! Any normal people would say what specific thing they are reading about, since it's obvious the person is reading the paper. She's highly naive and refuses to get a hearing-aid even though every single day is a struggle because of her bad hearing. She freaks out over stuff that doesn't mean anything. Like kitchen tools that sit out instead of going back to the drawer where they were taken from. Why would that bother anyone when they are clean? She always puts them back AND THEN COMPLAINS THAT SHE HAS TO BEND DOWN TO GET THEM! Then leave them there, man! :S So I think there's something wrong with her, like she could be diagnosed with something, but idk what. Kitchen tools like blenders..
Question: What could this be?!? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 12:51 PM PST This keeps happening to me when I read or when I talk to someone. Someone can give me a list of instructions or a task and I'll "HEAR" everything they say but then, after they finish talking and when I go to do the task or whatever it is they are asking I can't remember a thing they said. The same thing happens when I read a book. I'll read a book or even a PAGE in a book & I'll know what it's saying but as soon as I finish the page or book or chapter I won't remember a thing I read. What is going on? I've only started noticing this really recently but one of my previous jobs had fired me because of it saying I wasn't "grasping things" quick enough. Could it be medication related? What could this be related to? I feel almost "dumb" but I'm not.
Question: Was it even right to get thrown out of the house for throw my sandals at my mom's bf? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 12:31 PM PST My mother's bf (whom she's been dating for 3 yrs) was preventing me from leaving. He was asking me where I'm going and with whom all of the sudden at 9 PM. He started looking at my purse and it's when he found a Marlboro cigarette pack (but it's not like I'm smoking frequently, only once in a long so I only have one pack for a long time) that he kept asking questions. In my anger, after he didn't want to give back my purse, nor keys I threw my sandals at him and pretty much called him some names. He told my mother (I just turned 18 a couple months ago) and now she wants me to find somewhere to move within the next month. I don't think it was any of his business but wow, can't believe she's taking his side and going extreme on throwing me out of the house.
Question: Should I tell my dad that my mom is cheating on him? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 12:29 PM PST For some reason I get my moms messages... I see this guy texting my mom about stuff. Randomly they start calling Each other babe and stuff. " he even showed himself shirtless" btw my mom is married to my dad and I'm 14. I'm confused... Should I tell someone or not?
Question: What is the point of living if i can't get any luck? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 12:14 PM PST Can't keep a job. I try and give my best but it's always something that cause me to make an idiot of myself. Can't get lucky with girls and don't approach them because don't want to make an idiot of myself. Even if a girl did like me, i would make an idiot of myself and it only depresses me more because i didn't get to know if she actually liked me. Though it seems females want nothing to do with me. I'm a guy that keep to himself and makes an idiot of myself. Also my family is dysfunctional which doesn't help.
Question: My boyfriend takes dabs everyday, what should I do? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 12:14 PM PST I m at a point where him taking dabs so much is overwhelming me, dont get me wrong, I smoke weed, but now I can t even buy weed without him wanting to press it into a dab, which I dont need that type of a high, just a small bowl will do. He works at a smoke shop, and it makes me sad that I can t have family over due to the fact that they disapprove of any type of smoking, and he has smoke related objects all over the house. I can t even open my windows because its everywhere. I feel like the house is a smoke shop. We don t do anything because he is also growing. Lots and lots of money there. He never takes me on dates, or to do anything. He has no car, he uses mine after I let him use the car my dad let me have and after it broke down at a store he let it get towed, only for my dad to pay for it to grt towed. He didnt make an effort. He had another car that wont start as well. I still have to take taxis to work sometimes even though he s using MY car. I really dont know how to leave. He is suicidal, I talked to him mom too and she just tells me "im sorry" she really doesnt know what to say. To top it off, my house is always a mess, and I am the only one who cleans it. No help. Ever. And he is a pretty dirty person. He is bipolar, and suicidal. I feel no escape. We have 2 dogs, Baxter and Sandy. I love them, but I know I wouldnt be able to take them. It just breaks my heart because he wouldnt be able to take care of them like I could. Im so stuck. Someone help..

In the beginning when people would say " you have a beautiful daughter" i would say she isnt mine but thankyou she is sweet ! Then my finace said to not tell people that and just go along with it.... | Question: Would you let your him stay? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 11:51 AM PST If you went to a family members house on the Monday of Thanksgiving week, then you went back on Friday for Thanksgiving and when it came time to leave your 9 year old wanted to stay the weekend with his cousins, would you be willing to drive back 3 days later to pick him up? It is a two hour drive, but to go pick up your son your family member is willing to meet you half way, which makes it an hour. Would you let your 9 year old stay? Keep in mind, you trust these people, they're close family. Trust is not the issue. |
Question: I feel like a complete disappointment? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 11:41 AM PST I'm 21 years old, and I work two very low paying jobs. My mother had just recently moved in with her boyfriend for the second time. Unfortunately that meant I had to get another job,and try to live on my own. I have no means of transportation except for this old lady that comes and gets me to drive her to and from both my jobs. She does it out of the kindness of her heart. I have no high school diploma, or any kind of skill. I feel like an absolute disappointment I'm living with my mother's friend until I can have enough money to get my own apartment but the only making 1500 a month I don't know how I'm going to do it. My mother has gotten us addicted out of the other apartment that we were in she currently owes $3,700 and she expects me to pay it all. Well she just lives with her boyfriend and I'm constantly looking for a place to live. I feel depressed and out of place in the world, I feel like I'm just going to keep getting old or not have anything to live for. I'm doing the best I can do it seems like that's not enough is there any suggestions on how I can make my situation better?
Posted: 02 Dec 2015 11:37 AM PST So long story short I lost all my vision 2 years ago to a terrible sports hit in basketball, this year I am a helper for basketball & I sit on the sidelines helping coach since I can't play. She's so supportive of me & is so happy to have me back. Well today I got hit in the face with the ball & my vision went bad (forgot to say I got my vision back Lat year) anyway I had to be driven outta town to a specialist doctor because things got bad. After everything was okay my coach texted me asking if I was okay & promised she'd put me in a new place away from the court. I said "yes I'm fine, Doctor said I got very lucky it wasn't a direct hit, my face hurts a lot & so do my eyes but I'm doing alright😊 Thanks for checking on me!" She put "ok sweetie, have a great weekend! See you on Monday!!😊" I ended up coming a week later after my vision got better., when I came back everyone was so loving and helped/checked on me right when I walked in! , but coach was quiet? Later she came by my table during practice & S he said "Heyy! I missed you!" But that was it, she was super quiet & distant which is unusual. Why was she like that?
| Question: Just a simple question? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 11:32 AM PST Last year on xmas i promised my gf little brother some limited edition shoes $800. Days before xmas i found out my gf was cheating on me. I broke up with her and the kid never got the shoes as i promised since i thought fack this. It's now been a year and the kid just added me on facebok. We're good friends and keep in touch. I feel bad since i didn't give him those shoes. I don't feel like a men of my word. | Posted: 02 Dec 2015 11:32 AM PST I'm an adult and live with parents. Family is just dysfunctional, dad loves my sister that is also an adult but doesn't seem to care about me. He talks to my sister but rarely talk to me, when i'm at home i just keep to myself in my room. Dad has never been there for me like i feel he should, if there is things that concern me he isn't there for me. I am ready to move out just that there are some other prevention but since i am staying at home with parents what to do? Read the details, if you can't give an helpful answer just don't answer. Don't answer my question just for points, helpful answers would be appreciated. No, actually i don't hate my family which is why i'm asking this question. If you can't give an helpful answer don't answer it. Don't answer just for points, your answer isn't helpful. If you read the details as you said you did. You would have read there are other prevention. I'm not asking for the obvious. I obviously know i could move out, as i said there are prevention. And the problem wouldn't be solved. That wouldn't solve dad not caring me. Even when i'm working dad doesn't care for me like he does my sister. He has always loved my sister, and not seem to love me like he does my sister. I do what i can for him if i can and he doesn't care for me like he does my sister. If i talk to him, he doesn't seem as he wants to talk. But will talk to my sister, i just keep to myself in my room when i'm at home. This has also caused me such stress that it intervene with work. |
Question: Am I right to be upset? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 11:11 AM PST So I'm a 14 y/o male and Im pretty mature... Anyway my grandmother and grandfather received temporary custody of my two little cousins 8 and 12 y/o because their mother is a druggy and their grandmother is a drunk. I will normally go to my grandparents house everyday after school then go to my older cousins across the street. Anyway they HATE me when I'm at my grams and make up all kinds of bs things that I allegedly do. Now keep in mind I'm not much of a little kid person I like people older then me better then my age! And my gram knows I dont do this stuff. They also run in the house and when I ask them "please stop" they bawl their eyes out and say I hit them or something stupid. Now my cousins across the road are 25 and 26 (married) and when I go there everyday they are there. Now I dont care but my cousins really do, the kids just go there without an invite and they are having a really rough patch in their life because my one cousins brother is suicidal after his gf broke up with him because he is trying to quit drugs. So I get really upset and jealous of the kids being there... Am I right to be upset?
Posted: 02 Dec 2015 10:57 AM PST My son (23) has been told that he's dying of cancer. It hit me like a brick to the head when me and my husband found out the news and I've been beside myself with grief. The thing is, my son said that he wants to die and that he's been unhappy for sometime and claimed that he even tried to kill himself before but failed (thankfully). I've been pleading with him to get help and even at times forced him to try and take medication but I found that he's been throwing away/not swallowing it. He's also in good spirits which I cannot understand at all, it's like he doesn't care that we all love him and don't want him to go, but he said he's tired. I've tried getting him to therapy as well. What else can I do?
Question: Is something wrong with me? To think in this way? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 10:55 AM PST As long as I can remember, I kinda think in a detached way. When my dad and brother were hospitalized a lot when I was little, like around 7, I didn't care. When I saw our pet cat frozen to death near our house, I didn't feel sad, I just dug a hole and put it there since my older brothers were upset. When my mom cheated twice on my dad when I was 11 and my dad put a bruise on my mom's neck, I thought she deserved it. I even thought my dad was being dramatic and a lunatic when he told me my doll was going to be my mom and made my mom sleep in our closet. I even became angry at his stupidity and wanted to shove him out the window or stab him in the throat since I thought his dramatics was about to threaten my education. I even left the house and my brothers (they wanted to stay) with my mom since she was financially stable and able to cook. I figured that I could graduate and go to college with no more dramatics. When my mom apologized to him and my brothers, when she apologized to me, I knew she wasn't sincere. Unlike my brothers and dad, I didn't cry. Instead I was annoyed at her and had a poker face the entire day. She still cheats. Now that i'm 18, I just don't care about my family. I'm annoyed with my parents who still argue and don't just separate since their problems made me miss 3 months of high school and homework and move a lot. Now that I have a job, I am hoping to go to college and get a house so I won't be bothered by these annoyances anymore.
Question: What do I tell my dad? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 10:52 AM PST I got a job at my university as a figure model for the university s drawing classes. It pays really well for an on-campus job, and I m super excited about it. The only problem is: it requires me to pose nude for the classes on occasion. I m fine with it, because I m comfortable with my body, but my dad and brother won t be, so my mo modest want me to tell them what the job actually is. My friend told me to just not tell them about the nude part, but I feel like my dad and brother would eventually figure it out if I did that. So, my question is, what do I tell them the job is?
Posted: 02 Dec 2015 10:47 AM PST Well as my sister's. Recently he has contacted me and said he has many health issues and wanted to meet. Few weeks before this his sister passed away and we had always had a connection with his famy but just not him. As I attended the funeral and the dinner he was there but I didn't even get a smile a hug absolutely nothing. It really made me feel bad knowing that he was in the same room as me and couldn't even TRY. So after numerous calls text and email, I caved in and said fine why not!? Well after meeting him he has done nothing but blowing up mine and my husbands phones . calling himself dad and he loves us and "his grandchildren" I can't even wrap my head around the fact that he could call himself my dad or a grandparent to my two children (5&2) he has two other children that would like to meet me. So we had made plans so that I could meet my long lost brothers that I barely know about. So the other night I get a call saying "dad" is in the hospital and will be on bed rest for months. I feel as if the entire long story they gave me was just a big run around. He apparently couldn't put down the booze for us kids. I was also in a terrible car accident with him and that was the last time I saw him. I'm just so confused on what I should do. His entire family that have always been apart of our lives warn and warn me to stay away because he is very bad. I could go on for days. My heart is hurting and definitely confused. Hope to hear from someone :)

She s been ordered by the court to not even come to the pick up location that we have to go get her from. My question is how do I help ease the transition of her being away from her mother? I m excited to see her but worried she ll cry the entire two days. |

Question: How can I get out of carpooling my friend to and from school? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 09:39 AM PST My mom takes me to school and we've been taking my friend for about 2 years; I guess her mom doesn't know how to drive. They pay my mom for gas and stuff but it's just I feel recently like they don't appreciate it. Like if her mom doesn't know how to drive why send her to a school 15 min away instead of our homeschool. And my mom and I do a lot sometimes for her like pay for her and things like her dad never takes me places(her dad can drive but he works) my mom always drives us places outside of school, like I don't like give to just receive but you know like it's getting old. And my mom always stresses now in the morning when she takes is to school. I'm getting my liscense in 3 months maybe that can be an excuse, but how can I use that in order to drive to school alone? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 09:11 AM PST Me and my boyfriend have been together for almost 2 years now &' we just had our daughter, she was born a week ago. When it came down to filling out the birth certificate papers, he would not let me put my last name as our daughters second last name. To not argue I left it the way it was just his last name. Now him &' his mom are pressuring me to give them my daughters social security card once I get it for them to put it up. When I tell them that I will buy a safe where I will keep it they just ignore that &' keep asking for it. Now I'm worried because since she does not have my last name I'm wondering if they can take her away from me, like get custody of her (if anything happened) also since I don't have his last name yet (which I will once I get married with him; in a year) &' the baby does not have mine can I file her as a dependent in my taxes?
Question: What to do if you made a threat your regret? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 08:30 AM PST I'm a 35 year old mom whose husband died 3 years ago. My oldest daughter 13, is a great kid and rarely in trouble, but the past month or so she's gotten in trouble multiple times for not doing her homework. I talked to her to see if there was an issue, but its really just that she hates science and thinks the homework isn't worth enough. So next I tried taking things away and grounding her, but she doesn't really mind grounding (she likes to read). Meanwhile, not being used to me having to be "on" her, she's taken an attitude. Finally, the week before last, I threatened to spank her. The second I said it I was questioning myself, I haven't done that in 3-4 years, and it was always only as a last resort. But I also was at my wits end and knew she was a wimp about pain. Her eyes got big as saucers and she has done homework since, so I started thinking maybe I was smart. But now, today, I found she didn't do her homework again and tried to hide it from me. On one hand, I feel I need to follow through. Consistency and always meaning what I say has always been my strength as a mom. On the other hand, she's 13. Thoughts?!

Question: What do I do in this situation? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 08:13 AM PST When I wanted to go to university, my mom kept saying we cant afford it. When I consider community college then transferring after 2 years my mom kept saying that its for "dumb people" and I should "dream big". When I suggest the Navy she claims she will disown me if anything ever happens (like me losing a leg). Should I just do as I please in this case?
Question: My mom hates my boyfriend, my school, everything about me. Help me? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 07:58 AM PST I go to a state school which my mom hates. She wishes I went somewhere like my little sister ( she goes to Harvard). She makes me feel like a loser and like I'm going to be nothing in life. She told me today that the way my life is going right now tells her that I'm going to be begging my little sister for money in the future. I'm so depressed. Ugh. Well, I'm a math major and I'm planning to go to a better school for grad school and all I really want is acceptance from my mom sadly. Another thing is that she doesn't like my mom. She thinks he's ugly and not smart enough. He also goes to a state school but my mom wants me to date men who go to higher colleges she feels like they have a better future. I just feel like my mom is so judgemental of everything in my life. She just doesn't like anything I do. What should I do? Please help me.
Question: Should I go for custody? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 07:50 AM PST I have a five year old who is raised by his mom's family. I only seen him a few times in his whole life. I never changed his diaper, never spent a night with him, I don't even know what he likes. My wife prefers we just go on with our lives like we've been doing. Should I leave him alone and let him continue to be comfortable or should I go for custody? Advice is appreciated.

Question: My parents don't want me to date.? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 07:32 AM PST My parents don't want me to date. I'm fine with that. I don't see why not but i'm fine with not dating for the most part. I attend attend a boarding school. There's this girl there that I really like and she likes me. I'm fine keeping it at just that. My dad knows about it and he now he doesn't want me to talk to her outside of class unless its necessary. I don't want to lose her friendship but I want to respect my dad. What should I do.
Question: My mother speaks over me, help? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 07:30 AM PST I respect my mom dearly, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor while still living at home and she stepped up to take care of me while I was extremely sick and I am forever grateful. However, that was 15 years ago and I have been living alone for 10 years. She does not do any of my chores nor does she support me financially. When we go anywhere with family, such as Thanksgiving, she will try to make me a plate and ask if I need things 100 times. I tell her I am fine. If someone asks how my job is going she answers for me "She went through a tough time, I can't believe she is employed even part time" which embarrasses me. There is a very large Christmas dinner coming up with a lot of people from family and beyond. How can I say to her nicely not to talk over me and that I am old enough to answer questions, get my own plate, and so on? I don't want to hurt her feelings. Thanks.
Question: Does this make me one sick guy? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 07:29 AM PST I an a high school senior with twin step sisters my age, my step mother's daughters. They are both gorgeous with a figure to die for. They like to come in my room in the evening so I can help them do their homework. I am happy to help them as I really like them. The problem is when they come in for homework help they wear their shorty nightgown and nothing else. Everything is visible. I would NEVER EVER have sex with my sisters. However my weenee sometimes has a mind of it's own and I get a b0ner. It is totally embarrassing when this happens. They don't know I sometimes do this as I hide it from them. When I ask them to wear more clothes when the come into my room, they tell me there is no way I should be sexually attracted to them. Does this make me a perverted sick guy?
Question: Do you think I'm useless go her now? Why was she so distant with me? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 07:15 AM PST So long story short I lost all my vision 2 years ago to a terrible sports hit in basketball, this year I am a helper for basketball & I sit on the sidelines helping coach since I can't play.
Question: How do you co-parent fresh after the break up? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 06:55 AM PST We just broke up last week and it's extremely hard for me to not be bitter about the situation. I don't like for him to come to my house to see his child but she's sick right now so I don't have a choice. In all actuality I think he's only doing this to hurt me. We broke up once before after I had the baby and he did not see them much. There would be weeks and days at a time where he would not see his kid and if he did I would let them go to his house or if he came here I would leave while he was here. I don't know how to not be bitter about it I don't want him at my house but I can't keep the kid from him. Any advise or would I not be wrong by denying him visiting at my house?
Question: EMERGENCY: My sister's child was kidnapped!? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 06:47 AM PST Just 2 hours ago, I received a phone call from my younger sister that her 8 year old son (Simon) has been kidnapped. They were walking at the mall (it was night here) and Simon said he needed the toilet. After about 20 minutes, his mother was getting worried about why he didn't come out of the bathroom. After more wait, she called him but he didn't pick up. Eventually, she called the security guard to go and check. Only 4 people were in the toilet, no Simon. We're so shocked about how he could possibly get out. They searched the entire department store but he was no where to be found. He disappeared, very likely kidnapped. What should I do? Right now, they are searching and contacting polices, etc. Right now, I'm trying to get as much as advice as I can about what possibilities are there. He was really a sweet child. Is it possible that perhaps he could fight his way back home (call his mom?) Also, why do you think they kidnapped him? I really don't understand these evil people, your best wishes are also welcome thank you.
Question: I'm 16 and pregnant and don't know what to do? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 06:14 AM PST So I found out last Saturday I'm 6 weeks pregnant. I mean I thought a lot about what I wanted to do. I'm definitely not aborting my baby. But I feel as if my family isn't as supportive as I thought they'd be.I live with my mom and she told me she was okay with what ever decision I made. Ultimately I want to keep my baby, but my mom told my sister and my sister (she's 23) FREAKED out and she is very mad at me. Her opinion matters the most to me and I don't know how to talk to her about it. She hasn't directly talked to me but my mom told me she is very angry and is taking my birthday presents back to the store (seeing as my birthday is tomorrow) although I don't care about that I care about my baby, and my family's opinions. I feel so lost... I talked to a council our at school about it. And when I told my mom that I told my counsuliers she got mad at me saying "you don't need to be blabbing you mouth about it" even though it's MY baby, and people are going to find out anyway... I've done research and I'm applying to a school where I can bring my baby to a daycare while I do my schooling. How should I deal with this situation? How do I talk to my sister about this??

Question: Pregnancy, anxiety, depression ? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 04:13 AM PST My whole life is spiraling out of control and I need any advice possible. First off my family doesn't support me at all and it's the worse. If they do anything to me it's constant critizing and hindering , it's the worse feeling in the world when your family doesn't supports you. Growing up I wasn't the best child but I was going through puberty and confusing times. But I feel as though my family is living in my past and won't open there eyes up to see that I've grown and matured a lot. It's really depressing they never have anything positive to say about me. When I started my first job they were supportive for a couple of months and then everything changed, when I was getting where I needed to be fast enough. Now I'm pregnant and I'm debating on keeping it I just turned 20, I'm nervous about being shamed not to sound weak but I am. I have no one to rely on. I've been living with my boyfriend lately but I don't think he's ready to even be a dad. It's just a horrible situation. No one knows but us and it's driving me crazy? We don't have nothing on our own yet . I really feel like I ****** up, I was drunk that night. We have been together for 3 years. My family isn't supportive, his mom supports us but barely, idk how she would take the news she would throw us out. We both have jobs but they aren't careers . I just feel like I really ****** up and it's the worse feeling ever .super depressed .
Question: Why is my dad doing this? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 04:12 AM PST I am 15 and a freshman in High School. I have three older sisters (age 22, 19 and 17 in that order) and they don't get this as bad. My dad has a set bedtime for me and me alone (10:00) and he's always coming in to kiss me goodnight and make sure I'm asleep. One time I didn't get as much sleep as I needed and I was nodding off he carried me (on his back no less) to the main room and kissed me on the forehead. Another time our mom and dad went out and left my sister (the 19 y/o) in charge of the house and, by extension, me. She was being heavy handed and aggressive, so I retaliated (tbh I don't even think she wanted to do it) and when our parents came home she told them everything and dad had a go at me for being disobedient. Other times have included when I had my friend over and dad told us that being indoors all the time was not good enough and that we should "go outside and play" (my friend laughed at me the whole week after this) and last Christmas, for some reason he thought it would be a good idea to read me a Christmas story, then he kissed me on the forehead and sent me to bed. I know you may be thinking there's no problem but it gets really annoying sometimes. I'm a guy btw.

Question: Blended family not blending? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 01:45 AM PST My husband and I have been married for the last 3 years. I have full custody of my three kids; 16 year old twins and an 11 year old. My husband shares custody of his two girls with his ex. Things were good in the beginning, but then we started trying to blend everyone together and it's been falling apart. The kids don't really like the steps. When we're all together, they only talk to their bio siblings and they don't want to have anything to do with the stepparent, apart from my youngest son who loves his stepdad. I've spoken to my kids about it and asked them why they don't like their stepdad and their response to me is because he isn't their dad, he's my husband and that's how they see him. My husbands parents don't come around to our house as much. A couple of years ago, they ignored my son when he wanted to sit with them and then my FIL turned around and told him "Listen, you're not our grandson, so stop pretending we're your grandparents and get lost." My husband kicked them out and since then, when we see them, they only acknowledge their granddaughters. But they still see the girls at their moms and they spoil them and the two of them and the girls mom, encourages them to rub it in my sons face because all his grandparents are deceased. They don't say it to my older two because they really don't care. My husband feels like his girls are going to hate them because he's always punishing them for their bad behavior. He wants them to be polite and friendly, even if they don't like us, like I demand from my kids. But when the encouragement is coming from the other side, it makes it harder. We've been in family counseling, but there's so much going on, it's overwhelming. Any advice? My husband and I would ideally like everyone to be civil if nothing else!
Question: Who gets in trouble my mother or do i? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 01:28 AM PST My mother and I get into arguments here and there but its because she starts picking on me insulting me, my response is always the same "pls be quiet" or just "shutup pls" she hit me for not letting myself get talked down too, so she swung at me while i laid down on my bed to sleep early because i had to work in the morning. She kept hitting me and i kicked her away basically pushing her away. She wouldn t so i just put my fist up to protect my face from her hits. I onced threatened to call the cops because I considered her absuing me. She threanted me too, yet it s ALWAYS her starting a fight with me. And hitting me and I believe a mother should never beat on her kids. Im 18 going on 19 joining the military soon but if she does call the cops on me would i be the one getting arrested even if it was her picking on me and hitting me first?
Question: Is it abnormal for my niece to text message me every day? Posted: 02 Dec 2015 12:17 AM PST My niece is away at college and she texts me almost every day -- about school, her roommates/friends, what s going on in her day, current events/the news, she inquires about my well-being, etc. I sometimes, too, text her and vent to her about my problems, stresses, things that happen at work, also. We have always had an open line of communication and can tell each other anything. I love her and I love talking with her, but is it a little weird for her to text me? The other day, she was going through a hard time with one of her friends. She said to me, "You and my mom are like my best friends. No one will ever live up to either of you." Is that a weird thing to say? I am in my late 40s and happily married to her uncle with three little boys.
