Question: Is this girl giving hints she has a crush on me? Posted: 04 Dec 2015 02:12 PM PST this girl in me senior class who I never really talked to but had a lot of classes with. So far she has given what seem like 5 signs that she is into me. 1) she dropped her pen and asked me to pick it up so I did then when I handed it to her she touched my hand which seemed to be intended. 2)after class was over she bumped into my elbow as she was leaving. 3) we bumped into each other in the class room and as we each said sorry to each other she dragged her fingers from my elbow to my hand. 4) on a Friday after school I was doing homework in the hall when she walked past and had a minor conversation with me thought we hardly ever talked in the past or said hi to each other 5) yesturday as I walked into a class I had with her she immediately gets up to use the bathroom and bumps into me again. This has happened over the last 2-4 weeks and I am not sure if she is trying to break the touch barrier to show she is interested in me or we have just been bumping into each other a lot lately. |
Question: Everyone is graduating before me? Posted: 04 Dec 2015 02:11 PM PST Hello, I'm a junior in college and I don't know why but I'm so upset about this. Everyone who I went to high school with is going to graduate on time, where as I am behind by a year. I did not goof off, my GPA is 3.95. I took full time classes, including summer classes. But my schools class schedules were false which then screwed me up and therefore, I am now a year behind. I feel stupid for graduating a year behind and finishing my bachelors in 5 years. My best friend (who is 9 years older than me) said her 1st bachelors took 5 years, and she is just now finishing her second, so I have nothing to be worried about. But still. Any advice or words of comfort? Any personal stories? |
Question: Will he regret marrying her instead of me? Posted: 04 Dec 2015 02:04 PM PST He was so in love with me and wanted to marry me but we broke up (my terms), a few months later he got married to his ex instead. He really wanted to get married right away because of his job, I guess I just didn't realize that he was so set on marriage in such a short time frame that he would have a second runner up waiting in line if I didn't make it to the alter. Even 2-3 months before his wedding he was begging for me back. She was his second choice. 1 month before their wedding he asked me to meet him at a hotel to have sex, I decided not to go. That was the last time he talked to me, all other communications had been stopped. Until last month, when he texted me out of the blue again. I still have feelings for him, but I will never go back to him because he married someone else, especially in such a short amount of time, it made me suspicious that he might have even been cheating on me. He seems very happy now and I thought he was totally over me, but the last text he sent made me question his motives. Will he (or does he) regret marrying her instead of me? |
Question: How to deal with my parents who pressurise me about EVERYTHING? Posted: 04 Dec 2015 12:35 PM PST Being an IB1 student and needing to attend after christmas UKCAT, BMAT AND IMAT lessons and also learning at the same time Spanish and playing volley 7 days per week, I get to be over-exhausted every time. I discussed this with my parents and informed them that to get a 45 in IB I need to be studying A LOT so I proposed to them to cut down volley a little since they only thing it provides me with, is pleasure. I am also preparing for EUSO and Eurosport (competitions) so again I got LOTS of things to worry about. However, they WON'T EVEN LISTEN MY REASONS, ONLY YELL AT ME AND PRESSURISE ME TO CONTINUE EVERYTHING. They oblige me to do ALL these activities, watch me cry everyday because I can deal with neither this pressure nor this exhausting and over-demanding programme and yet DO NOTHING ABOUT IT. Their reasons? "We are the ones who pay for you, and you are living under our house's roof". What can I say to them? How can I deal with it? How am I going to get a Medicine degree if I have no time to study for the IB? (I come back at home everyday at around 20:00 and only sleep 4h at night because I sleep late - too much homework - and wake up at 6:30). I have had a discussion with them over 20 times and yet they won't understand and won't let me have an option - just follow their orders. I am not allowed to chose for my own programme and I can not make my own choices - they do. I CAN NOT HANDLE IT ANYMORE... PLEASE HELP ME I AM IN A DESPERATE POSITION... |

Question: My boyfriend slapped me in the face.? Posted: 04 Dec 2015 11:52 AM PST Last night My boyfriend and I were on our way home from a friends house, it was really late and i was tired. We had just gotten into a fight hours before (most of the time we are fighting) he kept messing around and was playfully slapping my leg. Well it stared to hurt so I pushed his hands away and I guess they hit something. Then he looked at me, and slapped me in the face. I didn't know how to react. I'm still not sure what i should do. You could clearly see he felt bad, but he said he doesn't know why he did it. What should I do? he said he was sorry countless times but I still feel so conflicted |

Question: What to buy my boyfriends dad for christmas? Posted: 04 Dec 2015 10:37 AM PST Ok, so me and my boyfriend have been dating for a year and a half now. His family took me on a trip this summer so I feel that I should get his parents a gift that they will love. I already bought his mom something, but I can t figure out what to get his dad. His dad LOVES history stuff, especially anything to do with WWII and Winston Churchill. I looked into getting him some Churchill books but they are so long and I'm afraid he will not have time to read them. He also is pretty outdoorsy but has little time outside of work to do much exploring (he s a radiational oncologist). My budget is around $50-$70. At this point really any suggestions will help. Thanks in advance! |
Question: Is it normal to have a crush on a mature married woman? Posted: 04 Dec 2015 10:08 AM PST I am 25 but I met this 39 year old woman who is sweet, beautiful and super sexy. Should I ask her out? It seems she want me too. She smiles at me often and say hello. I just want to get to know her. I saw the wedding ring but I can still br her friend, right? |

Question: Do you think this is selfish? Posted: 04 Dec 2015 08:43 AM PST I am about to graduate college in about two weeks (will finish in even less time) and I have chosen not to attend the graduation ceremony My parents think that I am being selfish and said that they wanted to go with me and that I should consider the efforts they made for me to make it this far. I do appreciate their efforts but I don't want to go. I have been depressed in this place since the first semester and even felt discriminated against. I have hated this place every semester even more. Most people didn't want to talk to me or even associate with me unless they were assigned to do group work with me. I remember the countless hours I spent crying in this place and all the bad experiences I had so I don't feel like going to the ceremony. My parents have been trying to convince me to go but I haven't budged. Actually I am the first one in the family to go to college and almost all of my costs were covered by financial aid and scholarships. They did provide me with a lot of emotional support and got me a used car last year since I needed a car for this last year and even came to visit me whenever they could. They probably feel this way because considering I am the youngest one for both of them, this would be their only opportunity to see their son walk across the stage for college graduation. |
Posted: 04 Dec 2015 08:36 AM PST Hello to everyone who's reading this! I'm a 17 year old girl who asked out one of my closest friends two days ago. I was bi in freshman year and decided to go straight. I started dating a guy through both sophomore and junior year. I am a senior this year and he left me several months ago. Ever since, I haven't been wanting to date anyone at all and a few weeks ago, I got friend zoned by this guy I've liked for years. Because of all of this guy crap, I just decided to go bi again and be more lenient towards dating girls than guys. I have never been in a serious relationship with a girl before (I've dated 2 girls freshman year but, one lasted a day and the other was for a week) and the friend that I am now dating is a lesbian so, she's used to this stuff. My worry is that I may go to Hell for dating her and being serious about this relationship. Also, we're waiting to tell our parents about us once we both graduate (which will be the end of this school year) and move in together. The issue here is that both of our parents are homophobic, especially mine because they're Christians. I'm close to my mom and my gf is also close to her mom but, we're both really scared that we will get rejected or shunned by our entire family. Does anyone have any ideas on how to tell our parents about us? And will I go to Hell for having a serious gf? Thank you for answering! |
Posted: 04 Dec 2015 08:17 AM PST so basically, I m pretty good friends with this guy, but he likes this other girl and he doesn t know that I like him. so he is always telling me about how frustrating it is because she doesn t like him back, she likes this other guy he knows, but this other guy doesn t like her, he likes a different girl. so we re all stuck in this really frustrating situation, but I feel like its the worst for me because I have to listen to him talk about how much he likes this girl and how much it sucks that she doesnt like him back and im just sitting there like yup I know the feeling better than you think. what do I do??? |

Question: He asked me on a date? Posted: 04 Dec 2015 05:37 AM PST I'm in college and a boy from hs who goes to college near me asked me to grab pizza because we've been talking about trying all of the best pizza places around. We've been talking for the last few weeks. Then I told him I couldn't do Saturday and he made a comment about not being able to stay late and being sad. Then we agreed on Sunday and he asked if he was allowed in my dorm and I was vague and brushed off the comment and changed the subject. Should I still go on the date and just avoid my dorm? or does he just want sex. |

Question: My partner got defensive when I asked her if she is cheating, what does this mean? Posted: 04 Dec 2015 04:32 AM PST Hello everyone, me and my girlfriend have been dating for over a year and for the first part of the relationship everything was smooth and the sex was numerous, I understand all relationships go through a honeymoon period and the initial butterflies fade somewhat. What happened is she completely stopped having sex for months now, I tolerated it because I truly love her and I figured I would respect her wishes, however she is constantly texting this mystery guy but I figured he might just be a friend, then this-a picture popped up on her phone when it was laying there and it was a penis picture and it showed the previous picture message she sent home and she was posing in her underwear. Her phone was just laying there on the coffee table and I happened to see it, I subsequently asked her if she's seeing anyone else and she immediately cried and got extremely defensive and told me that she is an adult and she doesn't have to explain anything to me and she doesn't owe me, I was shocked and appalled. Does her getting defensive mean she is trying to hide and deflect? Guilty? And she also never brings up the subject of sex with me either. Thanks for all the advice! |
Question: How bad for children if they are on bad terms with their father? Posted: 04 Dec 2015 03:34 AM PST Father doesn't communicate well with his children and he doesn't care so much. Even if children faced problem, he leave things to wife or others. He just work and put money on family and mostly enjoying hisself. What kind of influence does this have on the children? |
Question: What should I do about this situation? Posted: 04 Dec 2015 01:34 AM PST I met this guy last year in one of my classes. He seemed friendly and approachable. We began talking and he asked me out but I said no because my mom said he sounded like he was hiding something. So a year later, I decided to text him to just see how he was doing. We started texting back and forth for about a month and a half. I thought it was strange that he never called me but I just brushed it off. He asked me out again over text to go out to coffee. I said yes this time. We were supposed to go out on a Saturday. Friday night I asked if I could call him. He said sure but I wanted to put him to the test so I asked if he could call me. He then texted me to give him the word and to let him know. Instantly, I thought he was hiding a girl or something. So I forgot the whole thing. The next day (Saturday) I was mad because he said he called me the night before but he did not (no missed call history). He said if something came up, we could reschedule. I tried calling him later that Saturday - no answer. He didn't get back to me until Tuesday. He called and left a voicemail saying his dog died on Friday. He said he wanted to go out to be happy but then said he did not contact me for four days because he was upset about his dog which I understand to a degree. In my opinion though, I think he was being selfish to shut the entire world out and not even get back to me. Should I forget him? |

Question: Teen pregnancy family issues.. emancipation? Utah laws? help please..? Posted: 03 Dec 2015 10:33 PM PST Okay this is in UTAH. so my girlfriend is 16 and pregnant.. her parents won't let her move out. They are being unruly and overly controlling.. they think they're going to raise the child and are saying they won't allow the child or her to live with me till she's 18.. and are trying to keep me and her "(the parents) apart... The reason me or her (my girlfriend) are not okay with staying at there house or raising a child in it is because they smoke cigarettes in the house regulary, her dad is a alcoholic, the yard is trashed with beer cans llamas goats and tons of junk. The house has mold, there is no carpet, there is holes in the floor that go to the ground under the house.. the house is a 3 bedroom trailer with tons and tons of dead bugs and junk and things the baby could choke on.. it looks like a house off horders.. there is 6 kids living here, there is never food the parents and siblings are verbally and sometimes physically abusive (the 12 year old calls her a b***h and a w***e????) Just a tiny example... Also two very big dogs very big untrained unmannered dogs, a bull mastiff and great dane who wonder in the house whenever they want because the doors are never shut. I don't have a problem with dogs I own a pit bull but he is TRAINED around small children and newborns. So this isn't a personal vendetta against dogs. This house is unfit for a newborn child... I just want to know what courses of legal action I can take to get her and my child out of this situation.. |

Question: How can i stop getting jealous about my ex boyfriend's new girl? Posted: 03 Dec 2015 10:10 PM PST My ex boyfriend broke up with me almost two months ago over text saying he lost feelings. We dated for 8 months and were bffs before. were both 16. he was my first true love, and now he already has a new girl.. everyone told me shes not pretty and everything but i block those comments out and all i can think about is does she make him happier than i made him? does he love her more? what does she have that i dont? i want these thoughts to go away but i see them everywhere during school together and its hard. Ive gone out to parties alot more and made a bunch of new friends and met a bunch of new boys yet i still hang onto him. |
Question: Why am I bad at communicating? Posted: 03 Dec 2015 08:59 PM PST It's like words don't the same thing verbally as they do in text. Someone will say something to me and I won't really understand what they mean until it's too late and I respond wrongly. I had a couple embarrassing moments at work where I didn't respond to a customer correctly and my boss, who was listening, had to clarify to me what the customer meant. I'm really not a dumb person at all it's just like my ears are slow or something. How can I fix this?? I'm going into a medical profession and it's very important that I fix this soon! |

Question: Is racism prevalent in Hawaii?!? Posted: 03 Dec 2015 06:01 PM PST I a super pale, freckled, blonde haired, blue eyed girl. I applied to HPU and I'm pretty confident that I will get in. Everyone keeps telling me to be careful of bullying. I really want to go to school there, but I'm worried now about being bullied for my appearance. Should I be? |
Question: My formal teacher kissed me on the cheek.? Posted: 03 Dec 2015 04:19 PM PST I work at a anmail shelter . He came by to look at the cats he was surprised to see me there. He really loves cats. When I had him he really like me as a student. I listened and did my work. So anyway. He gave me a friendly hug. Then kissed me on the cheek it was just a kiss that you would kiss someone goodbye with or something like that. I had him for 3 years. So he really liked me as a student. Should I be worried. Or was he just being friendly |
Question: Why are women so shallow? Posted: 03 Dec 2015 03:40 PM PST I'm a guy, I'm 16, I have CF so I'm infertile, have a 40 year lifespan and am out of shape. I've never had a girlfriend as I've been rejected twice. Both girls told everyone and humiliated me, even after I asked the second one nicely not to tell anyone and she promised me she wouldn't. As soon as she left the room she started laughing and talking everyone, I thought about choking her just long enough for her to pass out but I decided I didn't need to sink to her level. Me and my best friend Anderson met a couple girls at six flags last year and I thought maybe I was wrong about girls being so shallow, but after I realized they never wanted to hang out with me, they just liked Anderson and since we were best friends, they couldn't get him without me so they stuck with me and gave me a fake hug so Anderson would trust them. Women say men have sexual intentions but about 1 in a million women want a guy friend, the rest just want someone to get in the sheets with. I've been working out a lot at the gym to get into shape but now that I hate women about as much as I hate ISIS I work out for me physical health, I've given up on love, I've discovered no women deserves my love but all of my hate and men deserve my friendship. Why do women have to be so shallow? |
Posted: 03 Dec 2015 03:39 PM PST I would like to one day get a boyfriend considering I've never had a boyfriend before, let alone dated. It's no secret that I'm not physically attractive and men avoid me because of it. I wish I was pretty and do try to be, but I know I will never be seen how beautiful. How to get guys to notice you and actually want to date you? The last thing I want is to ask a guy out because I don't want to put a guy in a situation where he feels forced to date me when he was nowhere near interested in me or had any intentions of pursuing me. To be my Age and having NEVER dated, let alone a guy actually interested in you makes me feel like there's something wrong with me. Even my family has been noticing guys don't like me and keep mentioning if I will ever meet someone. Any advice on maybe what I could try? I've tried makeup and stuff. Also personality wise ppl say I'm sweet, nice, shy and quiet. https://www.instagram.com/p/-2R7IasKsJ/?taken-by=luna_songz |
Question: Boyfriend's mom is weirdly obsessed over my son? Posted: 03 Dec 2015 03:28 PM PST My partner and I have lived with his parents for a year now because we are saving for our own place. We are 22 and 24. We have a 5 month old son and ever since he was born my boyfriend's mom has been over obsessive.. In my hospital room, she kept coming in and out whenever she wanted. She kept bringing all of her friends and family. She threw a fit in the hospital when I chose his last name and didn't put the last name that she wanted. My partner and I had to work three 12 hour shifts consecutively this week. I feel uncomfortable with her watching him because of how obsessive she is. So my mother picked him up and watched him for 3 days straight. My boyfriend's mom threw a huge fit. She cried after my mom picked him up. She was SO depressed for the 3 days he was gone. She didn't go to work, she let the dishes pile up, she didn't cook for her kids or husband and she wouldn't speak to anyone. But the minute my son came back home, her mood changed. she all of a sudden got happy and in his face, speaking to him like a baby.. I can't step foot out of my room, or else she comes up to me and tries to take him. She doesn't let me spend time with him outside of the room at all.. Another weird thing is, I hear her randomly saying my son's name as she is walking through the house. She even says his name over and over even when he isn't here.. I've been staying in my room and avoiding her. I don't let her see him often and keep him away. is that wrong of me? she stopped talking to me. |
Question: My married boss is in love with me! Help!? Posted: 03 Dec 2015 03:22 PM PST My Married Manager who is 20 years older than me, but very handsome, ( I m 28, hes 48).. told me he was in love with me. Since day one we both had this immediate chemistry,( we both come from similar backgrounds). That I haven't ever really felt with someone. I found out he was married with kids and on his third wife, so I immediately tried to suppress those feelings. Over the last few months we've grown very close...and today he told me that he thinks I'm the love of his life. He came to this realization over the last few months..and realized over the long Holiday weekend that he missed me so much and just wanted to see and talk to me.He said out of all his wives, and girlfriends he's never felt this way. That we are basically the same person and have this connection he's never experienced. He said it looking me straight in the eyes and I could tell it was sincere. I know him well enough to know he is not a liar. I said, I had feelings for him also, but the fact that he was married made me not want to get involved. I said I dont want to be in an affair, I'd feel too guilty and think of his family. His response was..if we don't see where this can go..we may never meet anyone we feel the same way about and live in regret..or at least I will..he said. He goes I'm willing to go wherever this takes us and do what i have to. What do I do? My gut says no..but my heart says yes. I actually think he would leave his wife..but do I want to be wife number 4 ? |
