I am a bridesmaid to my future sister in law. She has two other bridesmaids, all of us live out of town, me living the furthest (different time zone altogether). I do not really know her that well but I know she wants an "innocent" shower. The other bridesmaids are difficult at communicating, unresponsive and weird. These two are supposed to be her best friends but seem uninterested in getting this party in order. It is one month away! I am flying in for an event and staying several days longer to help with the shower. I offered to handle games and prizes, but now the bride wants me to run all the games by her, as well as food ( only "healthy" snacks allowed) and she HAD to "approve" of the invitation. I also heard that we are planning a shower for people that are not even invited to the wedding! My question: Do I need to tell her all of the games that I am planning, or can I opt to keep it a surprise from the bride and the other bridesmaids? I am so frustrated, I am ready to turn in the dress! Advice please! P.s. On a side note, she is insisting on us buying match in shoes of her choice. I have foot problems and cannot wear regular shoes and am unemployed, so unable to dish out more money for shoes that I cannot wear. What to do!
