Posted: 10 Apr 2015 12:55 PM PDT Sometimes I think I am. Here's why: -I'm always in my room -I'm always on my phone -I could go a whole day without talking -I don't like being around people for long periods of time -I could go a whole day withouth talking to anyone Some other reasons could be: -my family, mostly my younger sister teases me a lot and tells everyone my buisness -if I'm not in my room my younger sister goes in it and digs threw my stuff |

My school made me join a hope group and talk to a counselor and nothing helps at all... Nothing. I just want to get away from everyone and every thing. I want to go to New York City. Buy a bus ticket, and not come back until I'm ready. Does anyone have any tips for me? |
Question: How to teach my mom a lesson for treating me like ****? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 12:13 PM PDT Ok so i have been doing really bad at submiting my school work on time and my mom can literally give a **** less about how i feel (that is a really short simple version of it) i am sooo stressed out rn and i wanted to play a trick on her, like have her come home and find me dead on the floor (not really though) because i have seriously thought about killing myself waay to much like how can i make it believable so she realizes the she is talking to a real living human being instead of a ******* robot that is only good for cleaning and doing ******* school work omfg i am so ******* pissed off holy ****!!!! sorry lmao i just want to teach her a lesson and yes i know she is my mother blah blah blah but i also want to ******* kill myself, i know im being over dramatic but who wouldnt be?? you know what nvm ill just finish my assignment that i have no energy to do and repress the thoughts that are slowly killing me. Question: What does this mean? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 11:39 AM PDT Hi my daughter just told me about a dream she had a few years ago and didnt think it was serious but now i'm not sure what it means so can you please tell me.She dreamt that she was driving with her aunt when suddenly a bible dropped from the sky and landed on the ground she said that as soon as the bible hit the ground the earth cracked and she and her aunt got out of the car she said that her aunt just dissapeared and she found herself amongst some church friends and with them was her cousin who she is very close to,she says that she remembers her cousin saying something about a sacrifise and then out of nowhere her cousin knelt down and a sort of half eagle half lion swept her away.she says it was really upsetting and she really does not understand |
Question: How to handle an abusive father-in-law (who will visit my parents)? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 11:26 AM PDT My fiance always told me that his father is very strict and that he beat him. Until he was 18 (when he moved out to live in the university dorm), if he didn't wake up at a certain time, even on hols, his dad would go to his room and beat or belt him. There was no alarm clock. Out of fear of being beaten, my fiance eventually got it stuck in his head and woke up on time. If he ever said something wrong to his father, he'd get beaten too. He still bore some scars on his back, imagine that. He was a good kid and always obeyed him. My fiance told me he was very frightened of his father, and I can see it during family gatherings, which we only attended twice, since his family lives in another state. His dad is indeed very overbearing toward his family (I witnessed that), although he can appear charming when he wants to, particularly when other people are present. Now my parents don't know about all this, and invite him to stay at their house over the weekend (next weekend, and we're invited too). I don't want to tell my parents about my fiance's abusive past, because, although my dad considers my fiance as his son already, he only confides in me. But I don't want us to spend a weekend with this man either, not this time and not some other time. How to handle this? |

Question: How do I convince my mom to give back my things? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 11:05 AM PDT I went to the movies after practice and I told my mom I was still at practice. She went to my school and saw that I wasn't there. She was super mad and took away my phone, laptop, ipod, and car keys. She told me I have to ride the bus and quit track. I want to be able to win her trust, stay in track, and go to after prom without her "spying" on me. How can I win back my privileges? |
Question: My anniversary is ruined..? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 11:02 AM PDT Today is my 4th anniversary with my husband.. We were planning to go out for a couple of hours, maybe not too long because we dont want to leave out kids so lonh with his mother. Since she works and she needs her breaks too. Of course, we ARE going to pay her.. We appreciate what she does for us and it's not an everyday thing. So she offered to look after our kids while we are out. Well, this week.. One of my sisters in law had her baby and had to have a c section because her baby wasnt breathing.... Thats not the problem though..... Its just that, we already had everything planned put and my MIL agreed.... My brother in law came and dropped off my sister in law at my house for me to look after her. This is not her first child either. She has a 3 year old and expects me to looks after him. Her mom is a 35 year old woman that doesnt work and lives near her daughter and has anpther daughter the age of 14.... Why can't she look after her daughter....? Im not trying to be selfish and i know some of you may say that but she came unannounced and never asked me if she could stay.... My husband just called me that everything we planned is cancelled because i HAVE TO take care of my sister in law... What does her husband do?? Just sleep... Go ahead and call me selfish and dumb all you want but i know i deserve to go out at least once.... This would be my first anniversary going out by the way..... Now its all ruined... |

Question: Should Children have phones ? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 10:44 AM PDT Now before you read this I am not against cell phones I actually think that kids over 14 should have cell phones now here's where I state my reasoning. First, They're kids, they are worrying over how many followers they have on Instagram let them play, have fun they're only kids once. Next, They have so much access to the internet, you don't know what they're looking up I mean they can hide in a corner searching up stuff you don't know there are. Then, it will be a distraction an average of 3 cell phone rings in a 6th grade class erupting the teacher she then confiscates it away the child comes to the parents and start crying that the teacher took it away for no reason then the teacher gets in trouble.About 60 percent of children at 10 or 11 have cell phones! They're not even teens! Some parents say that they need there phones to call home if there's a problem at school, well schools welcoming have phones for you and they may even help with the problem. |
Question: My mom is claiming ive changed and is being kind of mean towards me.? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 10:39 AM PDT Well I am 24 years old and am living with my mother currently which won't be much longer. My dad passed away when I was 17 and ever since my mom has turned to me to do everything which I haven't had a problem with until I start noticing I was getting taken advantage of. I would take my mom to Dr appointments, always went to grocery stores and stuff like that. If something Happend to the house I was looked to as the one to figure out how to fix it and who to call. Mind you there is my older brother and younger sister (21) who also live in the home. If I decide to go on a trip with my boyfriend I'm a bad person because I don't include everyone else. But I've been kind of backing from all the things I feel like she can do on her own or have one of my other siblings do it. now I'm working and have been in a 5 year relationship ship and don't have a lot of time for the things that other people can handle. And now she is saying I've changed and my dad would be disappointed with me and God isn't liking how I'm acting. But I'm not rude, I don't argue, I still say yes mam and no mam, I still help around the house and am still the same person just not letting anyone take advantage of my kindness and I believe I'm doing it in an adult way. I'm planning to move out. |
Question: My sister keeps stealing from me? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 10:39 AM PDT My sister keeps stealing not just little things but real expensive things like a Galaxy smart watch, both of my expensive photography cameras that were hidden, my 2 video cameras, my tablet, and things like that. She steals it right from my bedroom when she comes over when im at work(I live with my parents and she bring my nephew over to see our parents). I honestly do not know how she gets away with stealing my things when she is over but she does. It is not just my things but its my dads things as well. I cant call her out on it because I didn't see her take it but found a couple things of mine when I was at her apartment(I found small things like a book bag, cloths and even a pain of shoes but not any of my expensive things). I keep my room clean and I know where everything is. What do I do? These things I spent my own money on, I use for my small business(photography business I had to put on hold until i get my camera back because it was a high end one an dont have that money to buy the same camera with). She is the only one that goes in my bedroom and my dad has found things in her car that he loaned her for now that belonged to him as well as me. What do I do and how do I get my things back? |
Posted: 10 Apr 2015 10:34 AM PDT Okay before you say that I am a bad sister and I don't really hate him he just irritates me let me explain. So I have one older sister and one younger brother(I'm a middle child). My sister is 15 I'm 13 and my brother is 12. My sister and I always do all the work around the house and we get nothing. My little brother sits on his but all day either on his phone or playing/watching tv and gets cuddled by my mom. She says he is the baby of the house but just because he is the baby of the house doesn't mean he is and actual baby. I have straight As and he has two Fs one D and two Bs. Me and my sister pick up everything of his without my mom asking us and when I just ask him to do a few dishes he whines. It's so not fair either because evertime my sister and I try to do something for my mom apparently we always get it wrong and get yelled at but when my brother tries to do something for my mom(usually when I tell home to) he gets A for effort. He also makes me late for school every day. He never gets up on time so I have to yell at him( we go to the same school) to get up. My overall point is my brother is the laziest person I have ever met and my sister and I don't get credit for anything. Thanks if you read the whole thing. |
Question: Why did my dad leave my mom? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 10:34 AM PDT |
Question: I need help please :( my life is going downhill? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 10:26 AM PDT Im 16 years old. Im a sophomore in highschool. I passed all my first semester classes.. but im halfway through second semester and i have 5 Fs. And 1 D. Now before you start calling lazy or whatever please just listen. When i was in the 7th grade. My mom died from an OD of prescription drugs. She only did it onfe but that was all it took. My dad was left with 4 kids by himself. We moved to where family was except nobody gave a **** about him because they were all to busy being mad at him because after my mom died he had sex with some girl that we all heard. (He was a great dad before she died) but after she died he changed alot. We eventually got taken away due to him neglecting us for girls and alcohol. I now live with my grandparents. (My grandpa is a principal) so he takes my school seriously. But everytime my grades get bad he blames it on how often i play video games. Well if it werent for video games i would i have killed myself alreadt because thats where 99% of the little joy i have left comes from. It was also something me and my dad used to do together alot. I get really strong self concious problems because im overweight (not obese just like not skinny) and i also recently found out my dad has been doing heroin. Is there any hope for me? I cant focus in school. I refuse to take any prescription medication for it. I am strongly against it. I just cant focus and i have no priorites that involve school. Its the last thing on my mind.. what do i do? |
Posted: 10 Apr 2015 10:23 AM PDT So, this week was spring break and my parents went on vacation. They had my sister come over (who I barely ever see) and kind of just watch us while they were gone. Since its Friday, my brother is coming over instead of my sister and I don't think I'll see my sister again till my birthday (or after it) in july. I got pretty attached to her while she was here because we were having so much fun. I really miss here even though she only left to go to work this morning. What do I do? How do I stop missing her as much? |

Question: Did my father have a right to complain to my mom about why I never called him? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 09:43 AM PDT The guy disappeared from my life when I was 7 and didn't give my mom any way to contact him. I didn't see him again until I was 13 for 2ish days in which he made a promise he didn't keep and gave me his phone number I was fully aware of who he was and mom said I SHOULD talk to him. Needless to say I didn't. Ever. I never called that man, i believed there would be no point and still do. Calling him wouldn't have gotten the 6 years back. He'll I'd practically forgotten about him until he showed up again He on the other hand did call me randomly, the typical 'I love you's and then ask to talk to mom. She'd make a face when I looked at her because she knew he was going to complain and I think we might have made a weird facial expressions game of it. We're both immature and I was happy with that She still insisted I call him but well. ... no. He'd bother her on why I don't call and she'd say she can't force me to. A good thing really because I've never been a troubled child, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have reacted badly had she tried Where does he get the nerve to complain that his kid that he abandoned won't talk to him. Was he just expecting emotional floodgates of forgiveness to just rain down? I don't understand people like this. It left me with a rather sour view of deadbeats being the kid of one. I actually bother my mom on repeated occasions to get child support for me but she didn't because it would have been to much trouble and she knew how to take care of her own |

Question: Would you allow this? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 09:38 AM PDT I have 3 daughters and a son. My daughters are 25, 28, & 30. My son is 19. My 30 year old daughter is getting married in a month. My 25 year old daughter is insisting she get her own hotel room with her boyfriend. I'm very uncomfortable with this idea. We come from a very conservative family & I find it innapproiate that my 25 year old daughter will (potentially) be having sex in a hotel room that could have family next door. My other children are not staying in the same room as their boyfriends. I realize she is an adult & can do as she please but would you allow this?? |
Question: Is this text acceptable for someone you haven't spoken to for ages? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 09:37 AM PDT Briefly year ago me and a guy had an argument. We were in love with each other & were like family, but I made a fool of myself and humiliated me & him. Since then we've kept our distance and haven't spoken. I look at the stupid things I done and I think 'What the hell was I doing? Why did I even think of doing that?' Recently I've noticed a few changes in his behaviour around me. He's become much more comfortable around me, where as before he'd just walk away whenever I was around, he texts me more often and starts conversations himself, I've noticed he stares and smiles at me a lot. Yesterday, my friends and his friends went bowling and for food. My friends were there earlier than his and were playing in the arcade, me and my friend were on a car racing game, I turn around and he's standing right behind me, staring, smiling and laughing; it was as if he wanted to say something, but couldn't. Everytime I walked past him, he made eye contact and made sure he looked at me sneakily without his friends trying to see. I'm not using my mum as an excuse, that'd just be wrong. But it's just what do I say? I don't want to say sorry because I want to forget about that, nothing about my mum either as it'd be awkward. I want to text him something like 'Hey, we haven't spoken in a while…Hope your ok.' or 'hope everything's ok.' I don't know if this sounds too needy. Does the hope your ok part make it sound as if I still care? I'm not too sure if that's the impression I'm going for yet! I've just realised I didn't explain about my mum. She died in December at a very young age. |
Question: Should I try guilt tripping my dad? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 09:26 AM PDT Lately I've been having financial trouble and it's getting hard to get to school.someone suggested I guilt trip my dad into giving me some money every month Do note I probably won't do it My dad is a deadbeat that stopped taking care of me when I was 7, something I remember very clearly. Lately he's been trying to get back in touch with me with Facebook and giving me his phone number I saw him when I was 13 for maybe 2 days where he insisted that he loves me though I'm kinda stone faced so I don't think I gave him a reaction he wanted. He said he'd give me money but obviously that didn't happen. He also gave me his number then Needless to say I never called him. He'd call me sometimes on my birthday and insist he loves me and so on and i'd say ok. Afterwords he'd ask to talk to my mom and had the gaul to complain about why I never called him and why I hated him. I don't hate but essentially I don't need to get someone involved in my life that is worthless to me. Harsh maybe but it's better than getting bent out of shape over why he doesn't love me or just hating him. He seems really desperate in insisting that he loves me and I shouldn't hate him. So should I ask him for some money? Pretty sure it won't happen or I likely won't ask but I'd like to know if I should if I should. It's probably in bad taste. also I don't want to ask my mom because she's spent enough money on me through me entire childhood. |
Question: Am I in the wrong? (Family problems)? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 09:22 AM PDT I'm 16 and ever since I could remember my parents have been fighting. They've split up and my dad moved away like 2 years ago. He sends enough money every month, plus my mom works like 3 different jobs. She gets about $600-400 a month from each. ( she doesn't even need to work that many jobs cause the check covers 85% of everything) We live in a house, have food, clothes, everything is good. Anyways, I started a part time job to pay for my own things and stuff and make about 140$ every 2 weeks . Once in a while I spend money on my mom and try to spoil her. Like today I made an appointment for her w a massage therapist that cost $80 and she started yelling at me. She usually takes my paychecks but this time I kept it. Now she's mad and won't talk to me? It's so annoying cause I'm not even close w her. All she ever talks about w me is money and we always get in fights bc I tell her she's working too much or something like this. I hate it cause all I was trying to do is make her happy. She's never content with what she has, my friend has a job too and her mom doesn't work and her dads a taxi driver and she doesn't give her mom any money. Their family is content and I wish my mom was like that. Am I in the wrong for trying to spoil my mom? She won't go to her appointment on Sunday even tho it's paid for. Should I cancel it it just talk to her? :/ |
Question: What do other women think/feel about this? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 09:19 AM PDT Police in Tanzania (Africa) have reported that a man with multiple convictions for raping numerous young girls (was free due to corruption/bribery) was recently stripped naked and staked out spread eagle near his home village. Goats blood was applied to his genitals, and he was then eaten alive (starting between his legs) by a lioness. Aside from persistent rumors that a group of women (many of whom had daughters who were victims of the man) were responsible, police have no leads, and they are not receiving any help from the villagers. Moral aspects aside, how do you feel about what was done to him? Fitting? Personally, I am pleased with what happened to him, and think it was very fitting. Good riddance! |

Question: Did I do something wrong here? Please give me your advice.? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 08:26 AM PDT My company was downsizing and they told me I was on the lay off list. I immediately tried to find another job and there are just NO jobs to be found in my city. That would be a disaster for me as I could not pay my rent or car payments. The company told me they had opening that I could fill if I upgraded my computer skills to use their new computer system. The only way I could do that is take the training 60 miles one way away at a cost of $3500. I knew my sister's ex husband Bill was into computers so I decided I had nothing to loose to call him and ask for his advice. He told me he would be happy to give me the training for FREE. I almost fainted. He did give me the training for free, I got the new job at my company at a higher rate of pay than my old job. I told Bill I had to repay him some way for the great help he gave me. He said the only payment he would take is to have dinner with me some time. We did and it was the greatest dinner date I have ever had in my life. Did I do something wrong here and do I have to tell my sister about this. I think Bill and my sister had a friendly divorce and they have both moved on with their lives. I don't want to damage my relationship with my sister. ALL ADVICE WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. |
Question: What is a fair distribution of housework when 1 person is working and 2 are not? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 07:57 AM PDT I work full time and live with my SO and his brother, who is unemployed and in school respectively. I pay for about half of the groceries with my money and they use their father s money. I m of the opinion that when I m at work and they re at home all day that they should be doing more of the housework. If not just because I m not home, but because I m actually bringing money into the house and am not relying in any way on their father s income. They believe everything should be 33/33/33 in terms of housework, but resent the fact that they think I don t do enough when I still sweep, clean, and tidy up after myself. Thoughts? |
Posted: 10 Apr 2015 07:52 AM PDT My cousin just moved in. He's always slamming the front door& you can feel all the other doors& Windows rattle. I've asked him to stop a few times but he hasn't. He When I ask him he says I don't mean to& granted that may be true but he really needs to stop, eventually it's going to put cracks on the wall surrounding the door. |
Question: So embarrassed made huge scene? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 07:43 AM PDT I'm at a hotel with my daughter who is by the way, 28 years old. We were at breakfast & she was showing me photographs of her recent trip to Spain. I got annoyed and said (maybe a little loudly) "Can you just put the f-cking phone down & eat" I guess she got really offended because she got up & told me this is why men won't date her & friends won't come around the house because I'm so disrespectful. She went threw out her trash said she refused to be disrespected like that & went back up to the hotel room. I'm so embarrassed!!!! She made sure EVERYONE knew why she got up & left me sitting here. I will admit everyone heard me curse at her I was wrong but she should NOT have behaved this way!!! I'm paying for the room Should I tell her she needs to leave & go home |
Question: Would it be a good idea to go to college in this situation? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 07:39 AM PDT I aspire to be a singer and an actress. My family started having very little money a few years ago, and we never get to go places. I want to become a singer and an actress because I would be doing what I love while supporting my family. I really want to travel with my family once we have the money. Would it be smart to waste 4+ years in college? |

Question: Do these sound like seizures to you? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 07:19 AM PDT Since I was little, I had have these experiences where I was doing something or other, and then suddenly time would go forward. Sometimes I would dream/have visions, like a farm or dogs playing card or something, or just completely nothing and time just seems to go forward. These stopped when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade. Also, the only experience that I actually knew was a seizure was when I was 8. I was asleep, and I started wheezing something awful while my face turned blue (at that time I slept in my parent's bed because I was too afraid to have my own room). Both my sister (also didn't have her own room) and my mom saw me, I don't know if dad was but he did eventually see me. My parents' called an ambulance which I then woke up in. I'm just wondering if these instances could be connected and if this could be bad for me. By the way, I am autistic. |

Question: My mother always snoops around in my room when I'm out!? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 07:10 AM PDT Whenever I go out, leave the house or even just my room, my mother goes in and snoops around. She probably thinks I don't notice that but she always puts my stuff somewhere it does not belong and kinda tidies up my room. That in itself is not that bad or anything. I don't have anything to hide either, but I'm a 16 year old girl who'd appreciate some privacy! I don't go into her bedroom and snoop around either! If I did, she'd be angry too. I understand that she, as my parent is allowed to make sure I'm fine and all but there isn't anything I could think of that would explain her worrying. I'm doing well at school, I have friends, I'm happy, I don't have a boyfriend so that can't be the reason. I told her repeatedly that she should respect my privacy but she always says she is responsible for me, therefor she's allowed to go into my room. And it's honestly so annoying and irritating! What can I do to get her to respect the fact, that I don't want her going into my room when I'm not there?? |
Question: I kicked my 17 years old out of the house, was this a good idea? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 07:03 AM PDT Lexi beat sophia up over the computer, she beat sophia and kicked her 5 times in the stomach, luckily sofia covered herself, but I told lexi that she's been trouble and she aggressive, I told her to leave my home, that she's too dangerous. It's been a few days and the terror is sleeping in my old shop garage, today she was gone, the tent is gone and the old TV and generator are gone, but I don't care, that stuff was old and she has no where else to go. She broke in last night and i heard she and sophia HELPING eachother with this whole situation. Lexi doesn't think I know about her tent, but I saw her whole camp while she was at school. She has her kayak out there too and a pellet gun. The pond is right there she also has an old grill and a fishing rod. I know she stole from my shop, but atleast she's not in my house harming people. I asked sophia if she would go give her something she asked for, sophia said she was too afraid to go there alone. So Sophia basically showers at school after cheer, and she's also using the bathroom in the shop, I never go into the old shop, the newer garage is best, but it still sucks that she's here. The old shop has all my camping crap that I don't use like a storage, if anyone asks for anything, I let the keep it since it's all junk. But the little terror has her own "house" and the old shop has a clean shower (I still keep it clean) and bathroom, but she needed to leave, but she basically has a way to use the bathroom and get clean. |

Question: Girls! Why do you look at boys? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 06:44 AM PDT So, these past few days, whenever I take a long walk sometimes I see these girls that look at me. Like, today I was walking towards a girl and we both engaged eye contact. We both looked away. A second later, I look again and I catch her looking at me. Then she looks away. On another occasion, today, as I was sitting with my uncle, I turn to check out this random girl. And she turned away as she was looking at me before. This happened a few times. Then, I managed to get full eye contact with her for a few seconds, then she looked away. I wanted to smile at her, but I froze and my heart was beating so fast. It happened again but this time I looked away. This has happened a couple of times? So what does it mean if you look at a boy twice or more? You could share any experiences if you like :) |

Question: I call my mom whore and slut? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 06:00 AM PDT My mom's not those things at all, but I have all this built up anger inside me against her, so I call her these things to relieve some of the hate. Ik its disrespectful, and I get in trouble whenever I do it, but I cant control anything else in my life and I cant deal with her by like cussing her out or fighting her, so its my way of comforting myself. She hasn't done anything to me, I just blame her for a lot of things. Is this being passive aggressive? And whats even worse, my mom had cancer not too long ago, and I just blame her for it even tho Ik she couldn't help it. I just saw her in pain and it made me angry, idk just in general im bitter. My weights a sensitive subject, and always has been, but a few yrs ago my mom and the rest of my fam called me fat, and a pig, and said I ate too much and all the time, and im getting heavy. And it was true, I was gaining weight like crazy, but it still hurt. Then shortly after I started making myself barf again and got down to 70 pounds. That was a bad place for me, and I mainly blamed my mom. She denies that ever happened, and she ever said those words to me. I feel bad, but in my mind I feel her cancer was caused by reasons like this. Idk how I justify it, but how can I fix our relationship? what do I call her if I stop calling her slut? |
Question: I fainted and my aunt has gotten overprotective? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 05:47 AM PDT I'm a 19 years old girl born and raised in Germany but moved to japan a little over a year ago. Since I was a child I always disliked taking hot baths. I always get dizzy really fast in a hot bath so I usually stick to long showers with not so hot water. However, last week I caught a cold and my aunt in law told me to take a hot bath and she reheated the water. She knows that I hate taking hot baths but she insisted me to take one to cure my cold. So I took a bath and after taking off and getting dressed I fainted. I don't remember much about that so I can only tell you what my aunt has told me. She heard me hitting the floor and found me unconscious in the bathroom and said I was out for like 15 minutes. She said she didn't call an ambulance because she thought I passed out due to the hot air but when I woke up and she wanted to go to the living room with me I fainted again. As I said I have no memory of that, not even of walking to the living room. Well, since that day she has gotten totally overprotective, like insisting to take a shower together with me, driving me to school, sleeping with her in the living room when my husband works night-shift... I'm not even allowed to carry a shopping bag from the car to the house!! How can I stop her from doing that?? I'm old enough and can take care of myself, and I tried everything but she doesn't stop! She's a cute old lady and I love and admire her (more important: I respect her) so I don't want to hurt her feelings. |

Question: Ideas for a day out? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 05:36 AM PDT I'm 13 and my mum said we could do something at the weekend but I'm lost for ideas |
Question: How do I get my mom to forgive me? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 05:25 AM PDT I'm adopted and I have known my real mother for about five years now since I met her when I was 12. That being said I've always known my adopted mom as my mom but lately we haven't been getting along and we fight over stupid stuff and I've been talking to my birth mom more and more, we mostly talk on the phone and through text and email since she lives a couple of hours away. I thought we were getting along much better especially since she invited me to come stay with her for the summer. When I asked my mom about it she said no and we had a big fight about it and I told her she wasn't my mother anyway and we haven't talked since. In fact when I said that she said if that's how I feel then maybe I should stay with my birth mom forever and let her put up with me. It's terrible not talking to her and I didn't think it would hurt that much especially since my birth mom has changed her mind about me coming to spend the summer with her since she said her younger children won't like it. But how do I get my mom to talk to me again because I'm really sorry and it's hard when she walks out every time I enter the room and doesn't acknowledge me when I try to talk to her. |
Question: Would you continue interacting with family if...? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 05:19 AM PDT I am 8 1/2 months pregnant. I went to my grandmothers house for Easter, and when my uncle opened the door and saw it was me, he stared at me and my 14 year old daughter and then closed and locked the door back, sat down at the dining room table and continued eating his food. I had to wait about 30 seconds to a minute before my sister came to the door and let me in. I walked in and my family was sitting there with guilty looks on their face but what hurt the most is that my brother and sister allowed it to happen to me. How does someone allow a person to lock out a pregnant woman and her 14 year old child and say nothing? I have lost total respect for all of them and I cant even look at my brother like a man anymore. Am I wrong for wanting to cut ties with them? |
Question: Can I have some help...? Posted: 10 Apr 2015 05:14 AM PDT I'm 13, I smoke cigarettes, I'm fat. (Like 100 lbs) I am ugly... I am abused by my older brother- he yells at me and calls me a dumba$$ and says I'm going nowhere In life, he likes to call me fat, ugly, a sl*t, I was depressed before but he is pushing it....my mom and dad hate me, and they fight a lot. My mom will tell me I'm never going to pass my grade and my dad yells at me for no reason. I like to go to my hideout underneath a building in town after school. I hide alcohol and cigarettes under there. With some blankets and a chair. I use a board to block off the entrance so they won't take me stuff. I have become a trashy teenager.... I don't know what to do with my life anymore, I'm worthless! I dont know how I got to this place in life.... What should I do? Kill myself? Run away to my hideout and stay there? |
