I've been hanging around with my good friend a lot more since breaking up and we really want to be together because we've had feelings for each other for years. But is it too soon, will it hurt my ex? I have definitely moved on, as I said I don't have feelings for my ex now but I just don't want to hurt her any more. I have BPD and moving on is not an issue for me, love comes and goes in an instant and I'm not distraught over our relationship ending. I am 100% ready for starting a new relationship with this other girl. I just know that I broke my ex's heart because she told me so, and I'm worried this could make that worse? I flung my hands up in frustration and boom. Computer screen shattered internally. (white screen, very glitchy looking). My mom found out was fine with it since she has a temper herself lol. My dad however is a different story, he's very mean and very less forgiving, not to mention his "Alpha Male" problem. Whats worse is that he made a rule that said no cpu games. And I've caught him stealing glances. And he ALWAYS says hi to me first. Like if I pass by his office. Etc. but if I send out a message inviting people to hang out he doesn't respond. But if someone else invites people out the next day he responds saying yes. In fact I am feeling hurt because I feel like although I'm always included in the group emails and always invited when I am the one sending the invite nobody wants to. As bizarre as that sounds, it's for a good reason. They, since the beginning, have gone through ridiculous links to sabotage our relationship. Why? Because I'm not white, and he is. They would threaten, bribe and beg him to leave me. When I became pregnant, his father told him to abandon us and that a baby to a black person is just a check from the government. They said that that if I loved my child, I would abort or give her up for adoption. So much more was said, all about my race effecting the way I would parent, how being black made me a gold digger and how I supposedly became pregnant on purpose to trap and manipulate him. After I gave birth, I guess feelings changed but I didn't go around them...so next his brothers were saying I was going to mess up our daughter, that I was a b*tch and that the only way, and I quote, that our daughter was going to amount to anything in life is by being apart of their family. They also referenced to their parents and themselves as his "original family" therefore better than me and our daughter, and that he should always defend them over us. I was 19 then and I'm almost 23 now. I haven't seen his parents in almost three years and they're still saying terrible things about me. My boyfriend, actually fiancee now, loves me and our daughter, but also loves him family and has been pressuring my lately to let them into me and our daughter's life. But I'm reluctant. Advice? I should also note that his family has a history of mental illness. |

Like you walking into a classroom, office or public place and you see someone that you don't know, automatically get discomfort when you look at them. For example, for the longest time I was trying to figure out the feeling I got everytime I went to this class and since the first day of class there was a guy(i call him douche, don't know his name or him) who triggers my discomfort right off the bat. Like his energy/vibe didnt agree with mine and I finally realized the feeling was that of dislike towards him(after almost having a panic attack during class, heard him and his friend laugh when I passed by them when I was covering my face, trying to calm down). I have to visit my mom every other weekend and every summer vacation. She was remarried and now has 6 kids. They all have lice. This is a recurring problem. Every time I visit her I come back home with lice. I am a girl so shaving my head is out of the question. I have to either endure harsh chemicals to my scalp or sit with olive oil in my hair for 8 hours. Both are very frustrating. I am not bluffing when I say EVERY OTHER WEEKEND. That is every two weeks I have to get rid of lice AGAIN. My mom knows there is a lice infestation. She does hardly anything about it. It is starting to effect my life very drastically. I do not want to go back to her house and repeat this over and over. This isn't the only issue though. When I'm there we have to share beds which makes things worse. Nothing is ever clean. She does not care. I dont understand why she forces me to visit. Its not like she actually cares about me. She shows me no love at all. She does nothing. but anyway.. I do not want to go to my mothers house anymore. How can I make this happen Without going to court? My dad understands my feelings but is very tight on money. I don't want her ruining My life anymore than she has. I won't get into any personal reasons. I'll just say... The lice isn't the only issue. |

Posted: 23 Apr 2015 09:08 AM PDT me (19) & my boyfriend (20) (off & on fiance) are going on 2 years May 22nd. when i met him (both 18 at the time) he was living in his moms house, no job, no car, still attempting to get high school diploma, and playing video games 24/7, he didnt have anything going for himself really, so i pushed him to get a GED so his mom would get off his back & i took him to all the recruiting services but all except the army denied working with him because of a tattoo he had on his forearm. the army office was always full so i suggested he go to his grandmas in atl & enlist there, his mom did not like that because her & his grandma were NOT on speaking terms, so his mom had some resentment towards me. he enlisted there and got into their DEP program i moved back to texas & he came & stayed with me before he shipped, i found out i was pregnant shortly after he left, and i found out he was talking to his ex so it was a hard time for and i was leaving for bmt myself in a month...ive been there for him during his time in bmt and AIT, now he stationed at his 1st duty station & we are having so much problems. he doesnt put any effort in our relationship anymore, doesn't give me time & attention, barely calls, everything has been about him, what he wants me to do, when i used to threaten to leave him thats when there'd be a little improvement then things would go back to how they were, but now he doesnt care anymore when i mention breaking up, he doesnt put up a fight. |

It does not end there i got another message from a different guy saying that he knows hindi and that he wants to learn english so the guy sent me a message on skype (my skype name is on my profile) saying hey can i see you, i told him my mother did not want me video chatting with men, he said okay just for 3 seconds i just want to see you once so red flaggs flew up and i deleted him from my follower list on italki.com and blocked him on my skype. I was very disturbed then i get another message from another man so i was like im going to just check and see who he is following (ill tell you why letter in the post) and i looked and he was only following young girls 13-25 years old so i was disgusted by that and so i asked a few other girls who were either my age (14) through 17 and they all got these types of messages here are the sign that someone is trying to contact you on italki.com for bad reasons 1.they only following women more specific young women 2. you refuse and they say just for 1 minute or 3 seconds 3. they say they just want to see your face 4.they are extremely persistent i really just want to warn all the young girls because even though there are people on that website for good reasons there are also people on there for bad reasons. so all the girls out there be VERY careful on that site. |

I'm a 13 y.o. girl, and this teacher is 21. She's actually my choir teacher. She's very kind, beautiful, and has a great personality. Her voice is also one of the best voices I've ever heard. I really like the way she teaches, too. I already consider her as one of my idols/role models, as I love people like her. I really look up to her and I want to be closer to her. But I'm really shy because I can't really react well in front of my idol(s) (fanmeeting experience), and we're still awkward with each other although we could talk casually. I just feel like she's just so awkward with me and only me. :/ She teaches private lessons too, and she seems to favor her private students more. I've been really jealous over them, but I can't help that they're my friends and they actually help me communicate with her a bit. I can't get a lesson because her schedule is full. She also favors little kids, and although I do love kids, I feel a bit jealous. We definitely have the same interests (singing), and we both like wearing skirts. We don't really have much time to talk since she's busy with college and the choir she's participating in (I'm too young to participate in that one). She's close to my other 2 choir teachers but I'm scared they would be offended if I ask them for help. What should I do to get closer to her? Now during the divorce I am losing patience with her constant displacement in life. I see her in a cloud of depression and feeling stuck constantly. But I never see her trying to get out of the mess she made for herself. I don't know how to be supportive anymore. I've grown resentful and irritated with her lack of fight. Let me save you some time -- I'm probably the biggest nerd in my school, and as opposed to in class or in academic teams, we met in sports. (Not to call athletes dull; I am [more or less] one myself, after all. But they aren't 'book smart' inherently, as members of my other circles are.) He does have a knack for tennis, though? ...Trying to throw positives in as well. Essentially, can a good relationship rise from such a fundamental difference? Or will I [or he] be unfulfilled?
