I just got back from dropping my friend off at her house. Since i did not get out of my car and was only gone for 15 minutes I drove barefoot and left my shoes at home. I had shoes on all day at school so since I did not go in anyplace I wanted to drive barefoot to be more comfortable.

We have been friends for 7 years, both dealt with abuse together, grew up together, etc. Now she has this ugly, drug obsessed, cheater as a boyfriend and she ignores me for him. If I don't message her first we can go weeks without talking. She seems more b*tchy the way she speaks too. She doesn't message me first anymore, ignores my messages sometimes and ends the convo. I helped her when this pig cheated on her and now he's not cheating anymore she can just ignore me for him? It's f*cking rude. I confronted her (not rudely) and she denied there's a problem and actually acted kind of annoying and nonchalant about the whole thing, like she doesn't care. So I guess this means things won't change till they break up (I know they will since she's only 16 and they're online dating but meeting soon.) Wtf, you can't even 'love' someone until you meet them. They Skype ALL day. I'm not exaggerating. When one of them is sleeping, the other is watching. Even when they go to the toilet. How creepy. What do I do? Don't tell me "this is how people grow up." because no, this is how immature people act. I've never put a boy over a girl.

Need you input please, There is this colleague of mine in professional school, she is one year ahead of me. I was in her group this year and was signed up near her workstation a few times. She is very friendly and sweet but i tend to be shy with new people so a few times when she would say hi to me in the hallways i was slow to respond so i wouldn't say anything back. I also saw her in a class party and she quickly greeted me with a huge smile on her face. So the next day in school same thing i was too busy to actually interact with her but passed by her a few times. My friend invited our group of friends to celebrate her 18th birthday, and her parents and sisters will be there as well. However, at the dinner venue, we are expected to pay for our own meals. I thought that in most dinners, the host pays for their guests. I've already have to spend a lot of money on prom and my university tuition. In my school there is this quiet girl who is obsessed with my friend and me. When there is group work, she always forces herself into our group. She always sits next to me or next to my friend. I sit next to someone in class whom I'd consider a friend but academic "enemy". She is smart & is constantly competing with me for the highest test score and trying to out-perform me in any task. Yet, we sometimes talk for hours on a personal level, and have a lot in common. We are both interested in the same career path, so if I knew of a job offer I would tell her about it, even knowing she'd only try to one-up me for the position. Still, having someone constantly compete with me gives me the extra push to better myself. I like to define people as "friends" or "enemies" so having this grey area feels odd.

I'm a guy, I'm 15 a sophomore in Danbury high school. I hate myself for what I've done in elementary school. We're still friends. Also last year I asked out the girl I liked and got rejected and humiliated, but now I think I deserved that. I hate myself for being the person I was and I want to smash the mirror when I see myself, nobody could ever imagine how much I hate myself for not only being the person I was but not even realizing it. I have had a very close group of friends since the start of year 9 and we have remained close until now. So, there's a girl that I've known since last year, and people always warn me to stay away from her. (Let's call her mango, or pineapple cause she doesn't deserve to be mango.) I didn't listen to them until recently. She sits by me in Art and she always talks crap about this girl, strawberry, that's also in our Art. Today, strawberry told me that pineapple was talking crap about me and I told her the same. We were both so angry at pineapple. Anyway, I used to always go to the store with pineapple, because we live close by and ride the same bus. I figured I could call her and ask, because I was hungry and didn't want to walk alone. I get off the bus, and call her even though she's just across the street in sight. I ask, "Hey, do you wanna get a drink?" And she asked who it was, so obviously she had deleted my number. I told her it was me (I'll be mango), and she said, "Mango? What do you want?" I was shocked by how rude she sounded, but kept talking. "Do you want to come get a drink with me from the store?" I asked. She said, "Umm.. Well.. I can't," in a rude tone. I asked why not and she said, "Well, my mom just picked me up and I'm not home." Keep in mind I was literally watching her talk to me on the phone from across the street. She must've forgotten I ride her bus, so I just said it was okay and hung up. It makes me so mad that she just lied instead of telling me she didn't want to go. Should I tell her I knew she was lying or should I just stop talking to her completely?

My close friends are already committed going to Northwestern, Cornell, Yale, Stanford, MIT, etc and I did not make it into one of those schools so instead I have to go to a state school, which is a good school but by no means a top tier school. I feel so bad. Why are they so talented? L:

I'm fifteen I have moved once before, and started out with no friends it was a horrible year. That was about four years ago it took me about two years to get decent friends, and to know everybody at my school. That means I most likely would be moving into a brand new highschool, and be like a outcast. Without having many friends I feel I would find it hard to go to school. I know I'm not going to go there and make tons of friends, but I just can't stop thinking about it and worrying it is going to ruin my summer. The only two ways I will be able to stay here is if my dad moves back who left my family takes the house we currently live in. If we went with that option it would devastate my mom and I would feel bad. The other would be to is make a agreement with my grandparents who are really cheap, and wan't to sell the house. My friend has been switched with someone who gives off really bad vibes and I'm very upset about it. I've sat next to him two times before and I HATED it. I have been absent for three days due to being sick, and I really don't want to go back and see him sitting right next to me. So, I'm going to ask my teacher if I can move. Okay so there is this guy a grade older than me (A sophomore) and he has liked me for months. At first I didn't want to be rude and say anything so I was just friendly, even though I knew he liked me. I DIDN'T lead him on though. About a couple weeks later he asked if I liked him and I said no nicely and he asked if I liked anyone else and I said yes (because I did). He still walked with me to every single class and tried to meet up with me after school and walk me to my car! After a while I ended up dating the guy I liked and this boy would not stop walking with me and following me still. I even tried to get him to be with this one girl and he said he didn't like her like that and that he guesses the person he likes doesn't like him back. I tried to act oblivious and said "don't worry you will find someone." After that he stopped walking with me as much. We would occasionally talk, but he didn't walk with me. Then, months later my boyfriend and I broke up and this kid ever since has followed me more than ever before and I really just want him to stop. I have stopped and told him I don't like him like that and never will and I don't want him to walk with me, but he doesn't listen. I get so stressed out to go to school everyday because I know he is going to follow me and I can't change my way to my class because there is only one way to go. He also doesn't get the hint when I say "I have to go." He just keeps on walking with me. What do I do now? Sorry this was so long. Help!

I've been friends with this guy for 7 months and we're in our first year of college. He was scrolling through the notes on my phone and I told him no because I didn't want him to look at them. He put his hand on my back and he said does it have something in the notes about you liking me? I said no! He said your heartbeat was beating really fast, you're lying, you like me. Yes, this really did it happen to my friend. We go to a charter school(we're in high school). Since we don't go to public school our school requires every parent to buy you your own school books(science history math books etc). My friends parents refused in 10th grade to buy him school books(they are not poor) so our teacher had to copy the work for him she even spoke to his parents and told them they had to buy his books by a certain date but they never did so he had to stop coming to school. His parents refused to buy him books for the next year as well(11th grade) he came back for a week though but had to stop coming because he parents didn't buy him any books. Even though they told our teachers they would. So now my friend is supposed to be in 12th grade with me but he really didn't finish 10th or 11th grade(and now 12th) because his parents refused to buy him school books. The reason he even went to charter school is because the closest public school to him is an hour and a half away. Is this right for parents to do? And what should my friend of done?

ok so here's the story I came to this new school around October. But I'm EXTREMELY shy & quiet. And I have made no friends. People just know me as the shy loner girl that never talks. So me and my best friend had a big fight about 3 months ago and we havent spoken for a long time. She told me that she doesnt think we could ever be friends again, however we both are best friends with another girl. She only really hangs out with this girl, and I hangout with other people but they r beginning to annoy me as they make me feel left out. There isnt really anyone else I can hang out with. We haven't known each other for that long but she told me about how she was depressed and she only told 2 other people, and I told her how my mom abuses me sometimes and I've only told her. We were super super super super close like a month and a half ago, like we texted every single day, sat together and worked together in all our classes when the teacher mentioned partners we automatically looked at each other and sat at lunch and recess together but lately she's been acting distant. She doesn't reply my texts fast and they're one word answers and in science she sits next to me but she literally just ignores me the whole time and talks to her guy friend, like I'll want to tell her something and I'll tap her shoulder and say "Amanda" and she'll ignore me and then it happens a couple more times with her ignoring me and she'll say "stop touching me" and if I even try to talk to her she'll say "no" or "shut up" or if I try to do something one of her other friends tried she'll go "no don't". She hangs out with a girl she used to make fun of all the time and she yells at us whenever we tease her. The teacher said partners work together and she looked at that girl. We normally work in a group of 3 with another girl but she wasn't here so I asked if I could work in a group of 3 with her and she goes "I don't know" and the whole time she basically ignored me. Then the other girl went to work with someone else because she felt bad for a classmate who didn't have a partner. It's really confusing because we used to be sooo close! And as soon as we got seats by each other she started treating me like **** and ignoring me! She said she cared about me a lot and would be there for me but she isn't.

so my friend A(initial!) told me he liked me but I didn't want it to be weird so I told him I didn't see the message... Well my friend B took my phone and read the messages and told A that I was telling every one about it! After that he is PO and he told every one and so today a group of ppl came up to me and asked why I was spreading rumors but I was confused and and said I wasn't and they said that's bull sh** and then walked away and I was just sitting there super confused with my friend E who was confused but even my best friend T won't believe me!! I tried to explain to them later about it but every one keeps just walking away and they're like shunning me!😓what did I do? And what do I do about it?😭😣😞

So I'm currently sick and maybe it's just because I'm sick and I'm delirious and all that but sometimes I feel so alone as if nobody cares about me... I feel like I always come last in people's lives except for my parents and I feel like I'm always a last resort for people? Whenever I'm sick no one ever texts me and asks if I'm ok. They dont seem to like this girl that Works next door now, even though I think shes very nice to me and also I see my friends from work act very entitled and like they own the place or can be a bit arrogant or stuck up and conceided. Just saying.... So they told me not to talk to people from the place next door now especially her. I said I am cool with her and she Works with me. They got all mad at me and said I better not be nice to her? Why this drama ? . what should I do they are trying to start a war and telling me who I can and cant talk to now over there ?..I said I dont want to get in the middle of it, but they dont seem to understand that.

Well, one of my best friends is locked up. He stole a grocery or something like that. Anyway, his mother called me and said he wanted me to visit him, so he can explain what happened and apologize, but I'm not sure if I should go. I know these two women I work with. All they do is complain about this lady that works here. The stuff they say for example is ..... "I can't stand that lady! I feel sorry for her husband that he has to live with her. She is a nutjob." Then when the lady comes back from a vacation for example, they will go "Oh so nice to see you! We missed you so much. Give me a hug!"

I am 29 years old . I am friends with Ben who is 50 years old . We have been friends for a year and a half now . About a month ago, a new person named Antonio (aged 20) entered Ben's life and they are now friends. Antonio has jealous fits of rage whenever Ben talks to me or hangs out with me. Antonio dictates and controls Ben's life by telling who he cannot see and who he cannot talk to . He grabs Ben's phone and reads his text messages . He made Ben delete me from his facebook account . He basically told Ben that he cannot see me anymore . Though somehow Ben still finds a way to sneak me into his life. The worst part of all of this , is Ben is enabling Antonio to boss him around . Why is a 20 year old kid telling a 50 year old man how to live his life? This is unfair to me, the fact that I could lose Ben due to Antonio . Should I take the initiative to stop being friends with Ben ? As the whole thing is unfair to me.

So someone stole my pencil and it was my only pencil. I clearly saw her take my pencil so I kind of said it out loud because I was livid. Then I told three other people that that certain person took my pencil. When I got home my dad gave me a whole lecture on how I shouldn't say that that certain person stole my pencil and that I should just say I lost my pencil because what I said could spread rumors about how that person is a bad person. I feel really bad now, am I ruining someone's social life?

My Pakistani best friend, my only friend, is becoming a total sellout. I hate to play the race card, but I m white, and I don t fit in with the white guys. I ve had this friend since last year when I was 16, and I m 17 now. He claims I m his best friend, but he doesn t treat me like I am. I mean, when we re alone, we have great conversations, but when he s with his other "friends," he acts stupid. Like, stupid, stupid. So stupid it makes me sad to see him be stupid.
