Question: Would it be weird to bring friend as plus one? Posted: 25 Apr 2015 11:29 PM PDT I feel like it would be weird, especially because I'm a bridesmaid and certainly because I'm the MoH, like do people do that? Or is everyone expecting me to bring a date? I already told her she could come and don't plan on changing that but is it odd? Also um, the person I'm bringing, I happen to like more than any friend would but I don't know if she reciprocates my feelings and I'm not out to my friends, so, while I'd like to lable her as a date, I can't. |

Question: Dealing with disrespectful family members and our wedding? Posted: 25 Apr 2015 10:42 PM PDT We have been married before, but our first spouses are deceased. We also come from families of divorced and remarried parents. They are all driving us crazy, with their demands. I'm pregnant and were tired of the stress they are causing. We adore all of our parents, but their demands are unrealistic. We're about ready to toss our plans into the bin, and elope. |

Question: Why do people care so much about engagement rings? Posted: 25 Apr 2015 07:51 PM PDT i mean yeah i know they are important but oftentimes it's the engagement ring that's better than the wedding ring...shouldn't it be vice versa because you only wear the engagement ring for a year or more and the wedding ring is forever...so i don't see the point in spending so much money on something most don't wear again after they get married? |

Posted: 25 Apr 2015 02:13 AM PDT So my soon to be mother in law apparently has been telling my finances cousins and aunts that we're treating her badly and we're moochers which is untrue. I was rude with her once months ago but apologized. My finance NEVER gets rude with her but his family doesn't believe us and is now turning against us. I don't know how to handle this anymore similar things have been going on for over a year now. Were getting married June 13th. Any suggestions |
