I don't have a car so trying to find another close enough for me to walk is even more hard. Without the job, I barely have money right now. I'm only 17 so there's only little of certain jobs I can apply for. my sister is usually my transportation to places but she moved out recently to another city with her boyfriend. My mom is always with her boyfriend so I'm pretty much home 24/7 Unless I have school. Since getting fired, the friends I had at work I barely talk to anymore. my boyfriend of 2 and half years just recently dumped me because he has personal problems of his own. He was my other transportation. I can't go to my prom because I don't have enough money. Now I pretty much just sit at home all day with nothing to do with my dog. School is almost over and I know it's going to be worse because I really will be sitting in the house every single day with nothing to do. I'm so tired of life right now, I don't think I've ever been this miserable and it feels like it's never ending. |

Posted: 19 Apr 2015 02:41 PM PDT Hi I am 19 and I got a new part time job in a cafe last week.This is not my first job, I have had a few seasonal jobs since in the past. All the other waitresses are really nice but I feel the manager often is a little rude to me and treats me like a kid. Her mannerism towards me is often like a teacher telling off a badly behaved student. I feel she is overly harsh at times as I've only been there a week. Today I was clearing tables as fast as I could all day and it just so happened that when she walked in I'd slowed down a little because it was getting near the end of the day and I was tired. She walks over and physically snatched the cloth off me and wiped the table and said "come on you need to be much faster". Maybe I'm being too sensitive but I find her really unapproachable because the few times I've asked for help she's been a little snappy with me and seemed annoyed at me asking a question. I think the reason she treats me like a kid is because I act kind of shy. How do I be more assertive ? I think if I could appear grown up I may get a little more respect. I am 19, I am not a 15 year old school kid she can scold. |

And my cousin, who is "better" than me. She isn't so competitive, but her parents are and they will brag that she got a 22 on the ACT( I got a 21, and this was in 7th grade). All my aunts on my side of the family and my own dad said she was more prepared and better than me. I cannot ignore this. Everyone thinks I care. But actually, I just want to say something vulgar. "Oh, her mom said she doesn't play video games." (Isn't the Wii a video game console? I only can play one hour each day on the weekend.) And when I got the 21 on the ACT in 7th grade a "Good Job," was all I got. "Hey did you hear she got a 22 on the ACT?" And when her dad asked me what I got on the ACT, I told him I got a 21 and he hesitated and said 22. It seemed that he was lying. And my dad. Why doesn't he take pride in my accomplishments? My mom at least does. Now, I got a little off track, but this is what happens. Now that I look back on this question, it looks really confusing. Thanks for the answers! |

I've been working since I was 16 so I currently work whenever I don't have any classes. My boyfriend and I have been dating for 4 years now. I'm Latina so my parents are very strict and traditional about the whole moving out thing. Basically I am not allowed to move out unless my boyfriend comes in here and asks for my hand in marriage with an engagement ring and everything. Since he currently just moved to another state over we are both trying to save up money for the whole move and my second year of college (I pay all of my college expenses, tuition and everything else it comes with). We're not in a hurry to get married especially with that being another huge expense. Also another problem with me leaving is that I have no access to my bank account as my dad is in possession of it. He will not even think about giving me access to it if it means to use that money to "runaway". I have more than enough saved up to pay for my second year and help with rent. What can I do? He is just recently unemployed and says he is stressing/worried over bills ( me knowing after having to pull words out of his mouth since he never opens up). 1.He never really contacts me and when we do "speak" he never replies. I mentioned this to him &he says he is busy &chooses to live a busy lifestyle making me feel that I am bugging him or giving him the impression that he shouldn't be "busy". REMEMBER he is unemployed &used to call me in between busy days. 2.He doesn't talk to me about things,I have to specifically ask and sometimes he doesn't answer my questions.He pushes me away when he needs to talk and when we have something to discuss he avoids me. 3.He doesn't kiss me like before,if at all, and just basically sends me to bed saying "get some rest". 4.We don't have sex anymore 5.I never spend time with him at his house or with his family.I had to invite myself over for easter which is something you think he would consider since we do have twins. And top of that like 80% of the time she can never ask her husband to take her so is always asking her son to take her. I try to understand but she is married and its his dads responsibility to take her. She doesn't drive so basically if her son doesn't take her she doesn't go and its like why can't you ask your husband?? Why does she depond so much on her son. She can't ask her other son because he has a "life" and is busy. He and his wife gave birth to a daughter during the mid 90s then they moved away. We've met each other in town many times over these many yrs. A few days ago, he and his family( now, includes a son who is 16) visited the t mobile store that I worked at. I haven't seen his daughter since she was as young as 9. But now, she is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my entire life. I could barely pull my eyes off of her throughout their entire visit. When I lock eyes with her, I almost seem paralyzed. Shes amazingly hot. I tried talking to her and after every time she responded, it just gave me the most amazing feeling ever. She ignored me later on though. I read or see inspirational life quotes and think maybe life has meaning and maybe this will change, then I go out into the world and people continue to throw hate at me. Three weeks ago I almost drowned in a river with rapid currents. I was talking to my friend last week and I told her that I thought about just letting go of the branch. She made a joke an didnt really seem to have heard me. I feel like people just use me for comfort then when I need some help, they dont care . One of best friends recently dumped me as a friend and is being like bitchy about it and bragging that she doesnt need me, yet she tries to act like everything is okay when we both know its not. El dice que me ama y se comporta como todo un caballero . Pero cuando se equivoca y yo le reclamos cosas como por ejemplo : siempre cuando sale se le olvida escribirme y aparece al dia siguiente como si nada. Cuando le reclamo esas cosa me responde esto : " entonces que haces conmigo? I got a 21 which I am very disappointed with. I have been trying like crazy to get better grades and to study more. I have taken a lot of time off my part-time job to spend more time studying and it has paid off with my GPA and overall grades, but my study habits clearly didn't help my ACT. I haven't told my parents my score yet because I am embarrased about it. My friend and her parents asked me what I got and I lied and told them I got a 24. I didn't want them to think I was stupid. Anyways, they told my parents that they were excited for me because I got a 24 and when my parents approached me about it, I got really angry and defensive because I felt cornered and guilty and they figured out that I got a bad score and they took away my car. I feel bad. I know that lying was wrong but in our argument I said some things that I didn't mean and now I feel like a huge jerk and am too embarrased to appoligize. I know that I eventually have to but I need some advice on what to say and how to efficiently explain my feelings as to why I lied instead of screaming at them and getting nowhere. |

Now he is working at an upscale Pizza Joint near our gay neighborhood (Silver Lake, Los Angeles). We live in a Latino dump right next door called Echo Park. He is making a little better than minimum wage, but still far less than he is used to. My husband says we should just leave him alone and let him save up money so he can have a deposit for his own apartment. I say, he's not going anyplace, anytime soon, and he needs to help offset the cost of food, water, detergent, electricity, etc. Who is right? Also his younger brother is sick. I have a good health plan that applies to my husband, but the Insurance payments for his brother are hurting us. I want to save money for a surrogate child, and this is throwing us way off track. I don't want to start being father when I am in my forties. We couldn't afford to keep his brother, unless I owned my tiny (780 sq ft) ghetto house. I have no mortgage payments because I bought the house outright with money my father left me. But now we don't ever go out to eat, and we have stopped going on trips and vacations to support his brother. I have stopped buying new clothes. In fact, we now only try to buy the cheapest foods. I no longer buy carrot juice for example. |

Now she has a high paying job and want even speak about my braces let alone finish paying for them. By now she could have paid and they would have been off by age 18. I have posted alot of questions on Yahoo answers about my braces,mom not paying, etc. Most of the time I get your an adult now so pay to get them off. I know I'm an adult but everyone I know with braces their parents paid for them. I know I'm an adult but I've had these since i was 15.Technically its her responsibility From the day I got them I have envisioned my braces to be finished like how I was promised.But it seems as if no one cares that my gums are in flamed and swollen , receding gums,and that I was supposed to get these severely impacted wisdom teeth out also. No one sees this, all they see is my age and nothing else. I do excellent in school, I'm still a virgin, never snuck out,etc. I'm just an all around good girl.I do everything for her. I never ask her for money, finacial aid pays for my classes and books. I'm always obedient. All her friends daughters lie, sneak out, have sex, and still get a pat on their back and everything they want. While I can't catch a break! I feel like giving up since my co-trainee has this attitude that I don't like ( she's kind,but she embarasses me in front of other employees. ) I don't get her. The other employees like her very much while I'm always feeling invisible. SHE'S better than me. When she was absent I could barely do everything right. SHE could do it flawlessly without mistakes while I could barely handle it. I'm NOT good with socializing. I'm an introvert and no matter how I force myself to try to hang out with them, it doesn't work. Our boss hates me since I'm so slow at doing stuffs. They all see my incompetence.. ( I make a LOT of mistakes everyday) But, I just don't like what I'm doing.. We deal with numbers in our office and I'm bad at math but I'm very good with English. My 'friends' are selfish. I'm an only child. I'm a loner and I talk to myself.. but right now I just need somebody to tell me that it will be alright. I can't tell this to my parents since I don't want them to worry. Can anyone be a friend ? I just need somebody to exchange conversations with.. Like ask if they're okay and how was their day was. Sorry this is so long.I cried to myself and I pray to God everynight. I know it'll be over soon but what worries me is the grade that I will get. When DCS came to my house my dad pretty much lied to the woman and made it seem like everything was fine. I'm only 15, I'll be 16 in July. I have a long distance boyfriend that I could go to, but since he is over 18 I know it would basically be considered kidnapping. I do not want to be put into foster care. Since it was just the beginning to our relationship and we weren't married yet I forgive him. Since then that woman has been a pain in the *** using her kids as a weapon to hurt him. When she finally agreed for him to spent time with them it has to be on her terms and at her place which I don't agree with but to him anywhere is better than him not seeing them. I tolerated that for a while until I found out it's more than that. He Denys it and say no woman can stand b/w his kids and him so if I didn't like it then bye bye. I was hurt of course and decided to leave state with my 9weeks old belly. He knows this and even offers me some money to take care while am gone. I was hoping he would be me to stay for the sake of the child I was carrying. All he said was no matter where u go you are not allow to date. So now am just gonna have to sir here and deal with this bullshit. |

I can ask his mum to watch them but i feel like a rubbish mum doing it already, how do people cope? |

I said it was pretty, but he kept insisting if it was my taste and I said it wasn't what I was used to but I'd love to wear it and he got mad and said "Jeez. You don't like anything our family likes. Well I don't like your taste." I don't know why or how he came to that conclusion and I told him that was rude and didn't talk to him. until he called to yell at me for ignoring him, calling me immature, arrogant, I can't see past my own nose, stupid, crazy, comparing me to his 2 year old niece, I can take my ego elsewhere he'd find someone else to love. He was upset I was on Facebook earlier that day, and said "You look like a mental case in your new profile picture. You know I liked the other one better. But do what you want." I tried explaining my side, how it was unfair for him to disrespect my taste and he said "Stop getting emotional. Jeez...you're so sensitive! Did I hit you for you to be this sensitive?" I was visiting family at the time and so he said, "The cold is making you crazy. You think I'm going to let you visit there anymore? Yeah right! You're surrounded by too much family...you've forgotten who you are." And then "you can wipe your butt with the cloth I don't care!" And then he called back and said "Don't make me yell at you. My best friend Rachel and I became friends with Vincent so I could get close to him and possibly end up dating him. Vincent is very depressed and I tried to talk to him in the past but every time I did he would ignore my texts or just leave me on read. Rachel on the other hand, has a crush on Vincent's best friend Darren. The thing is, Rachel also has a boyfriend. But Darren told me he is interested in Rachel. The first time I met Darren I never thought he was hot and didn't think anything of him at all. But once Vincent started to ignore me, I began to talk to Darren. Darren is a really nice guy and makes me smile. We usually tease/bully each other in a way and I like it. I think that I'm starting to have feelings for Darren... I'm not sure. Vincent is still there in my mind but so is Darren. I'm not sure how I feel about him yet and I'm just really confused. I used to do my work as a patient care and leave. But this witch made sure I never stayed in peace, she always reported me for everything from me double booking the patients and even accoused me of scheduling wrong time for patients. Then I told him I use her account and he told me it was terrible, and when I asked him what I should do there was a long pause and then he told me he d let me off the hook because I am his young cricket and he is my sensei. He said that the story got even better when you came into his life and he promised to continue to write to you if you wanted. He stated that he would only allow one woman to ever read it and that would be his wife and if he never found you no one would know his story and it would vanish as shadows and dust. He told you that no one is perfect and he accepts you for all your faults and imperfections. He also needed a reminder of how important his vows are and if things ever got tough in the marriage he could reflect back on what he wrote years ago and remember how important you are to him. | Question: Why does my exes mother constantly talk about my ex all the time to me? Posted: 18 Apr 2015 07:34 PM PDT Ex has broke up with me almost 3 months now. At first I was the typically needy woman, trying to call, text and talk to his mom about our problems. After calming down I have stopped all contact with him. However me and his mom still talk, but I no longer mention him. Since we have child together, his mom will baby sit for me. However one day when she picked my son up she burst into tears crying saying how one of us needs to talk to the other. (referring to her son and I) Then this wk when we had lunch she was mentioning her son (which is my exes name alot) and I did not respond. The thing is that her son has done me wrong so many times and I just can't go back to him. About a month ago he came over to pick up our son and asked if we could be friends. I told him I'd consider it. I went by his apt. TWO days later, and knocked and he said that's it Im calling the cops. So I just left. I know we have a child together BUT my ex is really really bad for me and in controlling. When we were together he told me the only way we would get married is if I'd sign a pre-nup waiving ailomony etc. Keep in mind it's not like his rich or anything as he works at Walmart. well it's that she bring him up more than usual and always takes everything we talk about and spin it to him |

But she's the type if she doesn't have a man she will try and kill herself well after I told her that she makes every excuse not to meet up /talk and it hurts like hell... my mom was never there for me and she was more of a mom to me I even called her ma .
