Question: Bossy girl in class? Posted: 28 Apr 2015 02:52 PM PDT So, in cooking class, there's this annoying girl in my group. Whenever she is not here, I have to take the lead because the other 2 people never want to, and I make sure everyone gets to do something and I make sure to follow the recipe. If they make a mistake I act like it's no big deal. But when she is here she pushes me to the side, reads the recipe completely wrong and says "it doesn't matter," gets mad if I make a little mistake, and when I ask her if I can do something she just mutters Spanish words and doesn't reply. Like today, we were frying dough, and she made the dough and then I was frying it, and she literally TOOK the tongs from me and when I asked if I could fry one she just muttered Spanish and ignored me. I'm getting sick of being pushed around by her and I hate this class now because I don't get to do anything (and the other 2 people don't really care because I think their moms know each other). So what do I do? |
Question: Why is she so creepy? Posted: 28 Apr 2015 02:50 PM PDT I'm 21 now, but between the ages of 8 and 9, I had a Brazilian nanny who I used to torture. I used to make fun of her for being poor, ugly, and barely literate; I used to hit her with a belt, cane and a frying pan. One time, she needed my computer for an urgent assignment, and I charged her fifty dollars; and when she refused to pay, my parents docked it from her salary. Even though I wasnt a racist, I would make racial slurs to her in order to inflict emotional abuse, which I stopped doing after my parents took video games away. I also had some clever remarks, like holding a penny up to her face and claiming it was worth more than her value as a person; and after asking me to say "excuse me" after she coughed, I sent her into shock by saying, "I know I'm supposed to say 'excuse me'; I'm just not saying it to you because I don't respect you as a human-being," in which I would often refer to her as "it." I was only a kid when I did all of this, and since it was years ago, I would expect her to get over it. However, she has recently been calling me up, asking me if I would go to the park with her, go meet her pastors, have her cook for me, and do other random activities. My parents told me she is just lonely, but it seems that loneliness wouldn't be enough to make her want to hang out with me. I just want to know if anyone else thinks that I have the right to be creeped out, and if they have any suggestions as to what I should do. If she needs to let go of any grudge. |
Question: Is it ok to kidnap a girl if you treat them good? Posted: 28 Apr 2015 02:30 PM PDT If you are ugly and no girl will sleep with you. What if you kidnapped a hot girl for a few days and had sex with her. But treated her good and told her you would let her go soon so she wouldn't be scared. I don't see it being a big deal just to take a couple days from her. |
Question: Wife's true colors are showing, what should I do? Posted: 28 Apr 2015 02:26 PM PDT As I've said before, my wife is finishing up the federal police academy. She will be moving to DC to work, I just recently got my CDL so I only have 6 months experience. We have two toddler age kids. She wants a divorce and won't talk to me. Our parents, who were helping us out by watching our kids are both sick and can no longer watch the children, I'm in a bad spot because now I have to leave my otr job to be home with our kids, she cometely cut me off financially. I'm thinking of just joining the military only problem is that she claims her job will have her traveling too much for her to keep the kids while I go through training. What can I do and suggestions would be appreciated. I don't want to "dump" my beautiful babies on her or our family, but I'm 27 and I need to start my career. I've just put mine to the side to help her start hers. |
Posted: 28 Apr 2015 02:10 PM PDT I beg to differ because I think this is inviting unwanted distraction and connection to a person that you share or shared connection with. However, relationship varies and each have their ground rules. What do you think about this? |
Question: What should I do? Weird Black-robed girl came into my room? Posted: 28 Apr 2015 01:44 PM PDT Yesterday, this girl in a black robe carrying a black sword appeared through my bedroom wall. She walked through my room and I thought it was weird so I punched her. She felt shocked that I was able to hit her for some reason and she started chanting, and locked me into a fetus position. I couldn't move. A few minutes later I could move again, but then there was a load explosion that took down my door. I looked down and saw the bloody figure of the same girl that went spookily through my room 15 minutes earlier. I also say this huge gigantic monster that just blew away half my house. And so she told me that I was going to die, and if I didn't want to, we would have to do some ritual. I didn't want to die so I did the ritual with her a suddenly I was holding a 20-foot long white sword. It was really weird. The monster started attacking me, so I swung my sword at it and I'm happy to say it died. Now half my house is gone and I have no idea where to live. What should I do? |

Posted: 28 Apr 2015 01:06 PM PDT It seems like people try way too hard to relate to others and not hard enough to figure out themselves, but why is that? If we didn't become a slave to our labels then we would be in control of our own lives. But why do they follow the label? |

Question: Do you think I was too harsh? Posted: 28 Apr 2015 11:49 AM PDT My brother let this girl borrow his car, but she doesn't even have a license nor does the car have insurance. I think it's stupid and he's asking for trouble, especially if she gets pulled over. That's his fault. However, this girl said she'll be right back. Days went by. A week went by. I asked my brother if she returned it yet, and he said she's not picking up her phone no matter how much he calls. I was pissed. It sounds like she had no intention of coming back, especially since we have no idea where she lives. I told him he better take care of this before I get involved, so he and a friend (which is her ex-husband) went to go find her. They shouldn't have to do that, right? They found her sleeping in the car parked in front of the place she's staying at. The car was locked, but they used something to open it. After that, he came back with the car and my mind put at ease. At least for a few days, that is. She text me last Thursday if my brother was around and for him to call her. I told her no and to stay as far away as possible from him from now on. I told her to not come over to our house anymore. A few hours later I came home and found a car blocking my way. Someone parked in my usual spot, so I had to park in the front. Turns out it was her and her ex husband. I was angry. How dare she show up here after I told her not to? Some nerve she has, so I went out there. It was dark, so I couldn't really see, but knew it was her in the car. I told her to get off our property or I'm going to call the cops. She kept talking smack back to me acting like a victim. She knows the reason why I'm angry at her. She even threatened that she's gonna have people come over to mess up our cars. I felt threatened by that, so I went over and told her that I will not hesitate to call the cops if she ever shows her face around here again. Then I went back inside. I was shaking. I'm not used to doing stuff like this. She crossed the line big time. I won't let her use my brother for rides or whatever. She's those type of people that don't take responsibility for her actions. She thinks she can do what she wants. She doesn't care if it hurts other as long as she gets what she wants. At first I liked her cos I thought she was nice and pretty, but not after what she did. I can see what kind of person she is. There are no excuses for her behavior. My brother claims to be a nice, helpful guy, but there's a difference between being nice/stupid. I felt like I had a right to give her a piece of my mind cos she was on our property. All I did was tell her to get off our property and to never show her face here again or else Imma call the cops. I meant it too. Gosh I'm not even this type of person, but she clearly crossed the line, you know. I really hope I didn't hurt anyone's feelings, especially her ex. But screw feelings! Did she consider our feelings when she did what she did? In a way I feel kinda guilty for being harsh, but I was angry. She was way outta line, you know. |
Posted: 28 Apr 2015 11:25 AM PDT I was in an abusive relationship six years ago. I left because I became pregnant with my daughter and I didn't want her growing up like that. A year latter I met my now amazing husband. A year after that we got married. Two years latter I had our second child. I'm currently pregnant with our third (and last) child. I recently got an email from my ex asking if he could meet me. I have absolutely no idea how he got my contact info, but he did somehow. He says he wants to meet up and discuss 'us and our daughter'. I'm not sure if he knows I'm married with two more kids now, but there isn't going to be an 'us' anymore. I do feel a bit obligated because I left him before he ever met his child. I was so scared of the abuse and I didn't trust him as a father. I never even told him I was pregnant, and that may have been a jerk move. However, I'm also afraid to meet him because I know what he's capable of and I do not want him very involved with my now family. I know he is the father, but I will not have him treat her the way he treated me for the time we were together. I'm in two minds of whether I should meet him. Should I meet him or not? Why or why not? |

Question: How do a social worker introduce a foster kid to a new family? Posted: 28 Apr 2015 10:17 AM PDT Like what happens during the first visit with the kid? What is said, stuff in detail because I'm writing a story about a foster kid which would involve this. And, what happens during the few months that the couple have the child? And what is the social worker looking for in the couple? What happens during the evaluation of the couple? I know it's a lot of questions. But need a lot of detail. |

Question: Dealing with anxiety/depression? Posted: 28 Apr 2015 08:35 AM PDT My dads in prison, keep going through court/ custody stuff. He doesn't want anything to do with me anymore and it's all just making me depressed, over whelmed and have major anxiety. I cry all the time, I've gained weight, eat more, get so nervous and stressed I feel like I'm gonna puke. I need advice on how to deal with this. My family doesn't know I'm like this. They know I'm upset but not like this. |

Question: Do you have crazy in-laws? If so, how do you deal with them? Posted: 28 Apr 2015 08:10 AM PDT My in-laws are really crazy and I'm not just saying that. My wife's parents are not running on a full deck. The way they act and think is just really abnormal. My wife knows this as well and does realize that she comes from a dysfunctional family. They live out of state thankfully, so it makes things a lot easier for my wife, son, and I. Whenever we go visit, we just visit and that's it. I just hope and pray they never move down to where I live. |
Question: What should a person do when someone offends her? What should she *not* do? Posted: 28 Apr 2015 07:29 AM PDT |
Question: Is this the most outrageous thing you have ever heard of? Posted: 28 Apr 2015 07:15 AM PDT I received an inheritance and in deciding what to do with it, I decided to give my ex wife Betty $30,000. I know this may sound unusual but we had a friendly divorce and she worked and paid my way through college when we were married. It just seemed like the right thing to do. I sent her an email telling her what I planned to do. She emailed me back that her current husband would not let her take the money because it made him look bad. I thought that is kind of strange but it is her decision so I just forgot about it and used the $30,000 for something else. A YEAR later I got an email from Betty that she was getting a divorce and she could take that $30,000 now. I told her I was sorry but I had already spent it and it was no longer available. She told me she understood and that she had made a big mistake turning it down in the first place. Then I got a letter in the mail from Betty's soon to be ex husband wanting his share of the $30,000. If this wasn't so outrageous it would have been funny. I just threw the letter in the trash and did not respond to it. I did not tell Betty about his letter. I did not want to cause her any more problems. Please tell me if you think I did the right thing in this matter? |
Question: Is it the right thing to do to keep this information to myself? Posted: 28 Apr 2015 07:07 AM PDT My ex husband and I are still friends. He was also good friends with my mon and dad when we were married and he remained good friends with them after our divorce. They just adore him. He is the son they never had. He takes mom and dad out to eat in a high end restaurant almost every week and they really enjoy that. If they need help with ANYTHING, they call my ex husband and he always helps them and NEVER takes any money for his help. Mom told me that they changed their will so their estate will be divided between me and my ex husband. I am cool with that. It is their money and they can do what ever they want to with it. He has given them so much pleasure that he deserves something for his generous help. My problem is my current husband. If he finds out about their will he will be very upset and will make family gathering unpleasant. I don't like to hide things from my husband but I am not going to tell him about my parent's will. I don't think it is any of his business. I want to keep peace in the family. My parents are in their 40s so hopefully it will be a lot of years before their will has any meaning. Do you think I am doing the right thing to keep details of their will to myself? |
Question: I drank once when I was 13? Posted: 28 Apr 2015 05:16 AM PDT When I was 13 my best friend who was 14 and I were at her house and her babysitters let us drink their whiskey and Mike's hard lemonade. That's the only day/time I ever drink and I regret it deeply. It was really stupid and unnecessary. It didn't even taste good and wasn't even fun. A close family member suffered with alcoholism and was over 40 years sobriety (until they passed away). I'm ashamed and embarrassed. I felt like I was dishonoring them (they were alive at that time) at 16 now I could honestly be perfectly fine without drinking for the rest of my life. I DEFINITELY will NEVER drink again until I'm of legal age. I would like to pretend this never happened but the babysitters happen to be my (much older) half siblings. So they are obviously aware I drank... God it's embarrassing. I am saving myself until marriage and I'm just wondering if a guy would turn me down because I drank before? I wouldn't lie about this if my future would be husband asked but it's not something I'd exactly want to tell him. This worries me so much. |
Question: Will he want to have sex with me? Posted: 28 Apr 2015 03:31 AM PDT I am a 6'7 380 pound woman who is 56 years old from India, who is a lawyer. I am still a virgin, never even kissed a man. For the last 30 years(since I have come to the US) almost everyday I would go out trying to meet different men, in various places ranging from bars to bookstores. I would try things from asking them out for coffee, to one night stands at bars. I would try meeting 20 different men a day but they all rejected me due to my height and being overweight. I have even been rejected by male escorts on 17 different occasions. I then met this cute little man who is 23 year old white man and is 5'3 weighing around 120 pounds with lean muscle. He was a highschool dropout who was evicted for not paying rent. We became friends and i let him stay in my house rent free, I would cook for him and clean after him. He has been staying for 6 months and he had sex with 35 different women. I have grabbed his crotch subtly many times. Since im so much taller than him ive subtly touched my breasts against his head many times. I would always peek at him whenever he showered, changing, or even having sex, because he was so hot. He then caught me, touching myself while peaking at him while he was showering. This is the farthest I have gotten with any man and I really want to experience sex. |
Question: My friend said something weird I think? Posted: 28 Apr 2015 01:58 AM PDT So me and this friend have been friends with benefits for 3 years. After having sex recently he bought Plan B for me because he didn't want to risk getting me pregnant. We were texting later that day and I asked him if he would freak out if I ever got pregnant by accident and he said no. Is that weird? I feel like most guys would freak out if that happened. |

Question: Boyfriend caught lying? Posted: 28 Apr 2015 12:23 AM PDT I caught my boyfriend lying again! This time I found out he was flirting with a co worker of his, lying to her, and lying and hiding it from me. Posted: 28 Apr 2015 12:03 AM PDT this friend who is a girl i am catching feelings for. We started texting and snapchating last 2 month all of a sudden she ignores my text and snapchat yet she always sees my snapchat stories? I really dont know why shes acting like this? When we see each other in person she talks to me but i feel like she talks to me because shes being polite. My friend introduced me to her a while back i really did not like her at first so we became friends but last month the more i started hanging out with her and my friends . I started liking her for her personality and more. Also when we hanged out with the group of friends i bought her food and movies when she did not have money and never thanked me? Yet she thanked her friends and a friend of mine whenever they her stuff? It bothered me because i thought we were friends? Should i stop talking to her, block her or unfriend her from social media. I honestly feel by doing this i will feel less emotionaly attached to her and move on? Also im the one trying to be a friend to her yet shes not being a friend to me. I just dont like people like this? I told my friend that introduced me to her im not going to talk to her or hangout with her.He said not to do this because its mest up. my friend that introduced me to her they hangout alot and no they are not going out or feel anything for eachother i know if i do this its going to be awkward because my friend always invites me and her to hangout. And i will have to ignore his invites |

Question: Only child and hate it? Posted: 27 Apr 2015 10:16 PM PDT 16/male here. It's not that I don't have friends, because I have a ton, but its tough being an only child and knowing that friends aren't forever, but family is. My mother's brother and his family live back home in Europe and I rarely see them. My dad's brother is schizophrenic and is alone. My dad's cousin's family lives In another state-I also rarely see them. I hate trying to get super close to friends because they all happen to not be only children and don't understand why I get so attached. As a younger child in school I was made fun of for being so overly attached. Im not really showing myself as overly attaching so obviously anymore, because I've been surpressing it - and now I'm starting to feel intense loneliness (despite having a multitude of GOOD friends). Everyone talks about this brother or that sister and I just can't handle it. In the church i grew up in, ALL my friends (who ive considered siblings) Actually have siblings. Out of my entire generation, im the only one who's still an only child. Moreover, a lot the families are somewhat related. Besides my parents, senile grandad, and schizophrenic uncle, i have no blood relations for hundreds of miles. My parents cant really do much right. I've lived in the same crappy house for my entire life. We could have had a better life, but my parents had to mess up with real estate. Medical bills happen and now we're barely "middle class". Awful, lonely childhood. Life would have been different with siblings. |
Question: Should I move out with my bf? Posted: 27 Apr 2015 09:26 PM PDT We have been together for a long time 8 years, I love him and I want to be with him, but due to circumstances, he wants to move in together which is exciting but I kind of feel sad that it is not what I expected to first get married and then move out. I am not religious, and I don't feel like I need to have a paper to believe in his love, but since young I always wanted to do it the "right way", for some reason i feel like I'm doing something wrong if I just live with him and then wait to get married. Plus, financially we still need to accommodate ourselves and can afford an alright place, but I just want to be with him already and be together, but he hasn't proposed with a ring, because there isn't alot of money and I don't want to have a big weeding, but I still feel bad to go with him without getting married or official. I don't know what I should do? |

Question: Why did this guy change after spending the night at his place? Posted: 27 Apr 2015 09:05 PM PDT My friend met a guy on a date site. They ended up hitting it off really well and went out a few times. Last week, my friend spent the night at the guy's place for the first time. She noticed that although he sent her a text message the following day about how he had a nice time, she noticed he started acting differently toward her. The very next evening after she had spent the night, he left a voicemail saying "Hi, how are you doing? sorry and that his phone had been off all day and he didn't want her to be worried." Then the following day, my friend left him a text message around noon. He didn't respond and she waited for 3 hours until she finally called him. He told her he was very busy with apartments (he is a property manager during the week and a security guard at events 3 evenings a week). He told her he needed to focus on this job and that he would get back to her. Over the weekend he texted and left a voicemail that he was covering an event Saturday and Sunday. Today (Monday), my friend noticed it was going for 3 pm and she had not heard anything from him. He almost always texts her good morning. He replied to her "I told you I had these events, I am resting, I have to sleep on one of these days" and kind of snapped at her. My friend simply said "Oh, just thought I would text to say hi and that I thought I would have heard from you at some point, because I usually do." He told her he would call her this evening. Is this guy trying to tell her something indirectly? |

Question: Is moving far away the best thing to Do when you feel unwanted in your home town? Posted: 27 Apr 2015 08:43 PM PDT Maybe you have Some family in the area but they are generally not loving and quite unpleasant and uncaring and don't seem to desire you around them...yet they obsess about you and act weird like they want you in their life, want to know all about You, just not close and or intimately Strange reality in my opinion..but true Please advise. It's hard to accept that it is the way it appears and how truly Very upsetting it's been. in addition I hope to gain privacy..Basically I don't know if I'd ever see "family" or anyone I thought care much again I'd rather do that then feel like there's love, where there's not. Thank you. |

Question: My cousin lost her daughter. Should I message her a famous expression about grief? Posted: 27 Apr 2015 07:42 PM PDT Her daughter was only 26, and had two young children, and a loving husband. She died suddenly without warning. They are so devastating. I do not know my cousin very well, and I don;t know what to say. I was thinking about sending her a private FB message with the quote: "Grief is like the ocean. It comes on waves ebbing and flowing. Sometimes the water is calm, and sometimes it is overwhelming. All we can do is learn to swim". I tend to make stupid decisions so I am asking for your opinion if I should send it. |
Question: Honestly idk if i like my best friend more than a friend.. plz advice???! .? Posted: 27 Apr 2015 07:33 PM PDT So I've felt this way for a long time..I am able to tell myself no I wouldn't date her but like I would totally kiss her, we kissed once as a dare and like I would totally do it again..like I love her and care about her so much like I kinda get a little bit crazier around her or sometimes get butterflies..and like I'm straight. I'm talking to this guy now and he is also really good friends with my best friend and he always talks about me to her, but they play fight about "oh she's mine not yours" she always stares at my lips when we talk too..like we kiss on the cheek all the time or she'll always smack my butt now yes this is what best friends do..but I can't like her I just need to love her as a friend .. Also I kissed her on the cheek and she did it to me like she had too she grabbed my face and she smiled so wide and like the veins on the top of her head popped out lol but like she likes this guy too and I'm so happy for her. Also I hugged her like my arms around her and she did it back.. Like we do some best friend stuff some people may not, but like I love her so much and care so much, but I just don't know whether its more or not.she is straight so there is no way she feels the same way but I am straight too, but been nervous cuz of feeling this. Would we ever kiss again either?? |
Question: Ex wife seeing someone else? Posted: 27 Apr 2015 07:23 PM PDT I've been separated for three years and divorced for nearly two. I still love my ex wife. I found out that she's been seeing someone else and it's making me do very irrational things. She didn't tell me she was dating someone else and we have a child together. I have a right to know. When it's my turn to spend time with our child, I demand that my ex wife tell me where she is because the thought of her with someone else makes me sick to my stomach. I tried to break into her house because I wanted to see what's going on in there and she caught me. She told me I needed psychiatric help and is threatening to have an emergency court order for temporary custody of our daughter because she said I'm not thinking soundly right now. I just love her. What can I do. I need help |
Question: My mom and her boyfriend bought an rv? Posted: 27 Apr 2015 07:05 PM PDT So, they bought an rv, and they both paid the same amount, I honestly don't feel their relationship is very strong and I'm just curious as to what would happen if they broke up? What would happen with the rv? |
Question: What is it with this married man's mixed signals? Posted: 27 Apr 2015 07:03 PM PDT He comes into my work a few times a month, jokes with me, creates cute passwords for me, little memes that say flirty things from my favourite actor like "hello, my dream girl" then he disappears and does nothing else. I become intrigue and have started to like him, which I know is horrible! He has started talking about his personal life, like really personal stuff. I should mention that he's shy and has social anxiety of sorts, so I think that him opening up to me with his issues is a huge deal because someone with his character wouldn't be going around telling everyone their problems, or am I wrong? But, I try to talk to him or send him a text and email I hardly ever get a response or he never ever initiates it. I'm tired of thinking about him, I need peace. I know he needs a friend but I'm mentally drained trying to figure out what he wants out of our relationship. What is he after? Am I reading him wrong? |
Posted: 27 Apr 2015 06:55 PM PDT My boyfriend and I have worked in the same mall together for almost 2 years, that's how we met. There is a girl that we both know that has made it known to both of us, in the past, before we dated that she was extremely attracted to him. We have now been dating for about 8 months. I noticed in his most recent search history on facebook, that he had been looking her up. Should I be worried or upset by this? Why is he facebook stalking an attractive girl he knows has a huge crush on him? |

Question: Do I tell parents about brother-in-law s DUI? Posted: 27 Apr 2015 06:18 PM PDT My sister has known this guy for about a year. They got pregnant after only a month of knowing each other and got a quick marriage before the baby was born. Every time I have been around him he s been drunk or drinking heavily. She told me that he s an alcoholic. They are planning a big wedding in a few months and they play it off like everything is perfect. I happened to find it online while doing a search for a friend s boyfriend and then put him in to search. Now, do I tell my parents? I actually wonder if my sister knows. Will this impact their wedding plans? Do I have an obligation to tell or is it none of my business. This is not his first DUI. |

Posted: 27 Apr 2015 06:12 PM PDT Is it normal for my common law husband to store photos of his deceased gf in his phone and hang them in his rearview mirror in his work truck? We have been together 3 years and have a 9 month old child. He also has an ex wife and two kids from before his gf. He was with his gf for 7 years. She died 2 months before we met.
