Question: Parents making me move... :/? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 12:23 PM PDT I grew up in West Philadelphia, and I had a lot of fun playing on the playgrounds around my house. I would play b-ball with my friends outside of the school and it was the best times of my life. But now my parents are making me move to California, because I got in one little fight, but my mom got scared, and it was only because some hoodlums were making trouble in my neighborhood. I'm having to go live with my uncle and auntie. What do I do? |
Question: Do I Actually have potential to Become wealthy? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 12:16 PM PDT I am 16 years old and I currently live an averge/low upper life like anyone else, however I feel a very strong need to become extremely wealthy (6-7 digets¿) so that I can give back to my parents and my future family, I would be more than willing to do whatever it takes BUT my parents keep telling me that it's never going to happen, and try to suggest "realistic jobs" like UPS or manager of a Walmart??? They're being very serious and not only is it discouraging it's also slightly offensive. I have a job and good grades if that means anything .. Anyway should I take their advise, or should I follow my ambitions?? |
Question: How can I convince my mom to let me bring my phone or tablet on my trip? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 12:15 PM PDT im going on a eight day cruise on the 9th of may and i was planning on making a video when i came back but my mom doesnt trust me to bring my tablet or phone on the boat. of course i would not let either of them out of my sight, im responsible when it comes to electronics. plus i dont have a camera and my mom wont even buy one so i can record and take photos. how can i convince her to let me bring my iPad or cellphone? |
Question: How would u handle this situation? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 12:12 PM PDT So my maternal grandma lives with uncle and his family and when she walks she walks really slowly but its not that she isnt independent....she showers herself and takes her meds herself. My cousin normally takes care of her...as in giving herfood or making food for her etc, however I have noticed that lately she hasbeen putting lunch responsibility on me...as in she would go out and do her stuff then call me from there and tell me or ask me if grandma had her lunch and if I could go see her( we live in the same city). First few times I did it cuz of grandma but I dont know what to do now because I feel horrible saying I cant see her but at the same time I feel my cousin is taking advantage of me. What would you do in this situation? |
Question: How can I help my sister? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 11:58 AM PDT Everyday it's the same thing, she gets angry and starts crying just because she...... - doesn't want to do homework - doesn't want to go to school - doesn't want to take a shower - doesn't want to go to sleep - doesn't want to go outside - doesn't like the food we are eating - doesn't like the clothes she has to wear She always gets away with it, so that's why she keeps on doing it. She is already 10 years old and all she wants to do is watch Netflix. She also gets mad if I say " Rebecca" which is her name or if I say "Papa" which is our dad. Even if I mention school she starts crying. So what could I do, my dad gave up and so did my older sister. This is too much to handle. |
Posted: 29 Apr 2015 11:57 AM PDT I am a 20 year-old Mexican female from Los Angeles traveling to Cairo, Egypt this summer to meet my boyfriend's family for the first time. He has 2 sisters in their late 20's who are very fashionable and more on the modern side. His mother also has nice taste however is more on the conservative side. His father, like my father, is very traditional and has a very intimidating demeanor - if he's anything like my dad, he must have a soft spot that I know I can get to :) As I would love to splurge and buy everything I would want for them, I am, unfortunately, on a strict budget. You know, broke college student? Since I am Mexican, I was thinking of bringing Abuelita hot chocolate, everyone loves it and I'm sure they don't carry that in Egyptian markets. However, I feel like that isn't very personal and I would like to bring everyone individual gifts along with the hot chocolate. Now since this is the first time I am meeting them I don't want to get a super intimate gift or one in bad taste - since I really don't know what they personally like. I have only FaceTimed with his mother and his oldest sister and I get along with them greatly. I will be departing on May 27th so I need time to budget myself (I still need to make a couple hundred dollars more for the trip - no big deal!) Any ideas of what I could bring each of them? If you have children; what would make an excellent first impression gift? Thank you all :) |
Posted: 29 Apr 2015 11:53 AM PDT I have a 6 year old autistic brother who keeps getting picked on by this kid, (punching him, throwing rocks at him pushing him etc) I have already talked to the kid's parents but they haven't done anything about it and my brother keeps getting bullied. Ive also tried to tell my brother that if he gets punched, to punch back but my brother doesnt want to. Now im 17 years old and my birthday isnt until august. If I catch my brother being punched again, is it okay to threaten the boy, and if matters get worse, can i discipline him? will I get in trouble for that? I live in South Fl btw |
Question: Should my dad be invited to my graduation? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 11:47 AM PDT Make sure you read this before jumping to a conclusion. My parents have been divorced since I was in Middle School. I am now a Senior in high school. Even when they were together.. my father didn't do much for my sister and I. He always complained he had no money, we'd never do anything as a family, etc. Now that they are divorced and he is remarried.. it's gotten 10x worse. I haven't talked to him since May. He makes no effort to take my sister and I out for a quick dinner and to catch up on things or anything. He wishes us a happy birthday, merry christmas, etc through text or facebook. That is it. He told my sister her college graduation present was in the mail (back in May).. she never got it. He does NOTHING for us and hasn't since we were like 6. No one thinks I should invite him to my college graduation because he barely even acts like a father. But I don't like holding grudges and don't feel like I should make him live with the thought that he never saw his daughter go to prom, graduate, etc. Because I haven't invited him to any important events (like prom pictures). My mom's side are the only ones who get invited because they've always been there for me. What should I do? |
Question: Difficult position with caring for ill mother and Father not contributing.? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 11:46 AM PDT First off I am a 30 year old male living with both my retired parents (ages 72 & 65) and on a low income (work as a self employed Web Designer/IT support) since I spend most of my time taking care of my mom with a vast array of health issues, the family dog and many household needs. Anway, to get to my point my father is in physically great shape but does not contribute at all to the physical and mental wellbeing of my mother and treats her unlovingly. Sure, he does basic stuff such as being Mr. Fix it, grocery shopping, some cooking, and cleaning (pretty bad at it though cause I have to redo everything.) but gives no regard to the care of my mom, his wife, and relies on me soley to do it. He is too much of a miser also to hire any in home assistance and thinks what he does do is enough for his wife. They honestly have had a strained relationship for many years; he has had a history of being controlling, mentally abusive & physically abusive a few times...even when my mother was pregnant with me. I have 3 half siblings but they don't bother nor have any respect or regard for my parents or me. So is there any way I can possibly convince this man to do more or can I get him forced to get/hire some kind of assistance? This circumstance has been making me more and more stressed and is holding me back from moving forward with my own career and future. |
Question: My mother is cheating on my step-fater. What should I do? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 11:44 AM PDT I just found out by accident that my mother is cheating on my step-father. I've been through two divorces before, and I really don't want to go through another one! My mother don't know that I know this. I don't want to tell this to my step-father. What should I do? |
Question: BF of 3 yrs hasn't told me his mother died.? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 11:40 AM PDT His mother was diagnosed with lung cancer in Feb. March 20th I knew something was wrong because he did not contact me for a week. I left him a message asking if everything was ok. He responded that he had better days. I googled his mother's name and found she had passed away that Monday. We're now at the end of April and he hasn't told me she died. He hints at that he has something to tell me but never does. Says that if he tells me, I will start to worry and call. Frankly, I'm upset because we're supposed to be friends. All his friends know including his daughter's mother. I wasn't even given the opportunity to pay my final respects or send flowers. His family never accepted me totally because of his child's mother. I've been excluded from every family event because of their friendship with her. This is more about our relationship than me. I don't understand how you could keep this away for over a month. I know I will be upset and angry when he finally tells it. Should I be this angry? |
Question: I saw my twin sister in heat with my boyfriend!? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 11:31 AM PDT I'm 26 years of age and I work as a police officer with my sister Helen. She had always wanted the things I had...she managed to get into the same profession with me and even has managed to purchase the same car.. I thought all could be forgotten for we all make mistakes and it is forgivable. Until recently I was out of the city for a couple of days busy with errands in another city. I did not tell her when I would be back nor did I tell my boyfriend. I came back at midday to catch them naked making out in my office.. it was beyond words...worst of all my twin sister is pregnant with his child... They have tried speaking to me but I didn't care..even if it was a mistake or not...the thing is even though we are twins and look identical I always wear my hair in a pony tail while she wears a different hairstyle.. I've been considering to leave my job...perhaps even to move to another country to avoid all of this mess... I tried forgiving her for her deeds but it is too harsh...to think that my own sister who I treasured could do this to me.... I'm out of options...I need advice.. thank you in advance... |
Question: Help my half brother pass away 100 day bootcamp? Question: Why is my mom so hard on me? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 10:51 AM PDT Whenever I'm sick and out from school she just gets mad and starts yelling at me and puts me on punishment for a long time. She told me if I ever say I'm sick again she'll drag me out the door and watch me screaming and crying.... -.- She also tends to say I can never go out again. I'm 14 btw.. I'm pretty sure it's bcuz she never believes anything I say. I told her what she says sometimes makes me feel really bad about myself .. And that I'm not allowed to feel sick while having anxiety.. |
Question: Dad is being a bit of a bully , what do I do? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 10:50 AM PDT My dad's being a bit of a prick. If I don't do something right then he gives out to me and calls me stupid which really bothers me. I feel like I have developed low self esteem issues and depression because of his insults. I'm not saying, "oh the other day dad shouted at me and I think that all the attention should be put on me ". I'm not saying that at all, but I do think that I am not that completely useless, I mean I go to college everyday and I don't do drugs and I'm polite and ****. I am a guy okay, not a girl with alot of hormones and stuff and I know I should man up and get on with it or whatever but I have felt 'down' for the past few years and have contemplated certain things that would leave my family and friends wondering what was wrong with him? Really just writing this out is just a little journal so I can get a bit outside of my own head. The only reason I am not gone is because I don't believe in suicide as a means of fixing a problem. I'm getting off topic, my father and me have been drifting apart for years now and I don't see fixing it. But if there is anybody out there reading this . And if there is anybody out there who can relate to this. And know how to cope, any advice, will not go unnoticed Thank you for taking the time out to read this. Again, thank you |

Posted: 29 Apr 2015 10:44 AM PDT I got suspended for the first time from school today for 3 days and my stepmom picked me up and she was pissed. My dad knows and is pissed but doesn't get home for about an hour. I'm scared of getting yelled at and I don't know what to say to him to make him not punish me. Should I try to talk to him with a leveled head? Or should I just start crying and saying im acting out for attention? I don't know what to do, |

Question: Girlfriend taking my daughter to elocution lessons? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 10:36 AM PDT My girlfriend is from London and she talks with a received pronunciation accent (a really posh British accent) I'm from Birmingham and I just have a normal English accent. But I've told my girlfriend how much I dislike her voice because she speaks really proper, slow and its annoying but she just laughs it off but now she wants to take my 5year daughter to elocution lessons to talk properly because she has a normal English accent and she wants he to speaks like her. How can I change her mind to just leave the lessons ,because it would kill me if my daughter spoke like her !? |
Question: Why would a German mother give custody? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 10:29 AM PDT Why would a German mother give custody of her newborn daughter to the father because he told her that he would not financially support her otherwise? She knows that it would cost him more money to finally support his daughter if she lives with him, than what a court in Germany would order him to pay her. She still sees her daughter almost every weekend because she wants to see her mother. |

Question: Please help, need family advice...? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 10:10 AM PDT So I'm a teen girl and my mother has a very close friend. I'll call her Alex. Alex has been in my life since I was 6 and she means so much to me, I call her my aunt. She and my mother have been best friends for nearly a decade. But recently they've decided to go into business together. It was good for a while, but then they got into a fight and Alex said something extremely cruel and unforgivable to my mother. They're probably not gonna talk to each other ever again. And I don't know what to do. They very rarely get into fights, but this was different. My mother and Alex are truly like friends to me, and I just don't know what I can do to fix it. |
Question: Mother inlaw wants to have sex, yikes? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 10:09 AM PDT |
Question: I'm the least favorite child of my dad (even less than my half-brother, who is a stepson)? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 10:07 AM PDT I'm 14 y/o and I've felt this way since a long time, but this feeling has become stronger with age. First of all my mom has passed away when I was 3, so I don't remember her much. I'm a boy, btw. I have an older half-brother (now 20), a twin sister, and a younger full-brother (12). When my dad met my mom, my older half-brother is 3, and they grew very close (my twin sister and I didn't come along until 6 years later). My twin is the only girl so my dad worries a lot about her, and my younger brother is hearing-impaired so my dad also worries a lot about him. I feel like the odd one. It's not that my dad doesn't love me. He always makes sure that each of us doesn't get anything less than our siblings, but it's as if I'm the only one who has no special bond with him. For example, my dad was very young when he married my mom (who was 8 years older), and the age gap between him and my older brother is not very huge; now they're more like friends (and they have more things to share about my late mom). My sister and my hearing-impaired brother also get more attention. I know it's bad to complain because my dad is always there for me as well, but I still feel like the least favorite child. I'm not sure I want to discuss this with him b/c emotions can't be forced. It's as if I want to do something to make my dad pays more attention to me and be CONCERNED about me ONCE than for my siblings. Any idea what to do (other than getting good grades, b/c I have, and my dad does praise me)? |

Question: Girls what would you do in this hypothetical situation? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 09:50 AM PDT A hypothetical situation. You are walking deep in the forest (an area home to foxes), and you come across a man who was a known and convicted child rapist. He is naked and tied sitting against a tree with his legs spread wide apart. At his feet are a pair of scissors and a jar of honey. What would you do? Regardless of what you do, no one will ever know. |
Question: Advice For A Father? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 09:48 AM PDT Last year my son graduated from a magic school in Florida. He has yet to find work as a magician and he's still living at home with us. His mother is completely disgusted, but I'm a little more tolerant. It's no mystery as to why he can't find work. He's just terrible. He's a bundle of nerves and his performance is sloppy. Every time he gets out the cards, I just want to cry for hours. What can I do? |
Question: Pregnant, Cheated on, Depressed? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 09:46 AM PDT Ok so I'm 16 weeks 3 days pregnant with a girl. I also have a 6 year old son from a previous relationship. So the father of my unborn child and I got into a heated argument to where he grabbed me by my throat, threw me around and shattered my windshield with a cinder block. No my son wasn't at home. I called the police , he took off . and the DA picked up the charges. He now has a warrant for his arrest. He was charged with assault to a family member and 50,000 bond. So when he found out he told me he had a girlfriend everybody knew about except me and that she was supposedly pregnant too. A few minutes later he text me saying there was no one else and that he only said that to hurt me...because he wanted me to talk to the DA. I told him.have HER talk to them. He said there was no one else. So I am completely done with him. I don't want him.involved with mum pregnancy or child. I am so hurt. I will be delivering my daughter without him. So how do I cope with all this? I just feel so overwhelmed. |

Question: Do you think my moms selfish? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 09:19 AM PDT Every year on Mother's Day and my moms birthday (which is 2weeks after Mother's Day)my mom always makes comments about what I should get her...I always get her a small gift then take the family out to eat...but it kind of annoys me she just expects something? Last year on my birthday she didn't get me anything and made the one home made meal that I HATE. Which Is fine but if she doesn't do anything for my birthday why should she expect me to do anything for hers? Plus telling me what I should get her?ill get what I feel like getting? |
Question: I can't stand my dad? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 09:18 AM PDT My parents got divorced years ago because it has been impossible to live with my dad. I've never gotten along with him until this year, where things have finally gotten better. Now this has only lasted a very short period of time because my mom moved away and now he's moved back in with me and my brother... It's been a few days but things are back to how they have always been (all progress lost in one day). He doesn't understand he's impossible to live with which is why he was the one who moved out years ago (he has a horrible temper). I hate this so much. Things were actually okay for a period of time and now it's only going to get worse. I'm over 18 and he doesn't let me do anything for no apparent reason; like I randomly have to be home by 9PM, which he tells me a few hours beforehand, walks in my room EVERY SINGLE NIGHT like I can't go to sleep on my own. HE DOESN"T LEAVE ME ALONE. I can't be in my room for more than an hour without him coming in and stopping whatever I'm doing. WHAT SHOULD I DO? I'm going to college for the fall semester so until then I have nowhere to go. He's literally continuing my old childhood nightmare and I don't understand why he doesn't understand that we can't live with him. He's so controlling and freaks out over the smallest things that are unavoidable and even he is hypocritical about some of the things he ruins your week over. It's only a matter of time before he really starts getting angry and things begin to get bad... |
Question: My mom has cancer, should I move back home? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 08:25 AM PDT I am very torn, I just found out my mom has stage 3 breast cancer, I just moved to another state with my two kids and fiancé about a year ago. My immediate impulse is to move back for a year, my fiancé needs to stay due to his job but he doesn't want me to go. He prefers that I just travel back and forth. We cant really afford that. We have two kids and I feel that they should go with me every time since we have no family out here and it will give them a chance to see their grandma as much as possible too...what do I do...my heart wants to be there for my mother but I feel guilty for leaving for that long and having the kids separated from their dad for that long....what are your opinions...respectfully please. |

Question: My sister won't even talk to me what should I do? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 08:19 AM PDT When I was staying after school my boyfriend told me let your sister know that you weren't with me but you actually stayed after school because the teacher called and my dad told me we're picking up your siblings and as my sister got in the car my sister said omg that smell you went with your boyfriend didn't you? I said what do you mean? yesterday, when I was in the restroom my sister opened the door just to put her clothes in the laundry and she saw the iPad right next to my clothes. She was wondering why the iPad was there so she took it and when I got done taking a shower I went to her room and she looked at me and said what? She got out of the room and said you logged out of snapchat that tells me one thing you lied to me saying that you didn't went with him but you actually why did you lie to me in front of my face. when you told me you don't believe me well I know I don't believe you too. Question: How can i tell my dad, who has full custody of me, i want to live with my mom? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 08:05 AM PDT I m 16 in June and I need to be 16 to choose who to live with because my dad has full custody. I dont like living with them, they dont physically abuse me but they do emotionally/mentally.. He always makes me feel useless and a failure and he always brings up my mistakes. He makes fun of me more than boys at my high school, which says something. Plus, he never listens to me and my mom is like my best friend. I tell her anything and everything. I love him and my half brothers [sons he had with his wife] and i want to protect them but I am miserable with him, plus he is very stressed and his anger problems are getting worse. My mom knows everything. i dont know what to do. |
Question: Should I stay at my high-paying job or move back to be close to family? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 07:55 AM PDT Here's my situation. I graduated college in 2003, worked environmental consulting started off making 28k & took it up to 66k over the course of 7 years & 5 or so companies. I worked in oil & gas the last 5 years & have made as much as 111k (not including 25k bonus). I have lived in Pittsburgh all my life until last year when I moved to Ft. Worth TX with a company that moved down here from Pittsburgh. Not a new job or company, same company & position, just a new state. I got laid off from that company & found another job here in TX making 40k less. My new salary is 70k. I have a beautiful house down here in TX but I'm slowly becoming miserable. I'm bored out of my mind. We can make our bills on my new salary but I lost all of my vacation in the layoff to fly back to Pittsburgh & visit family. I never wanted to move to TX to begin with. My career will be much better off in TX but we have no family or friends here. My son (5 y.o.) is growing up & I fear he won't have the childhood that I had & is missing out. I have another son on the way. I could max my salary out in Pittsburgh around 90k in a few years. Would you move back to Pittsburgh where the opportunity is more limited but close to family, or stay in TX where I have a better future income-wise? |

Posted: 29 Apr 2015 07:11 AM PDT I think I have a controlling grandma I'm 21 I feel if she doesn't let me be then I think about it is she right? She says she's only putting me in the right directions. Once I get off work I'm not allowed to go anywhere but straight home. Once I'm home I do a little house chores . Then I'll ask her if I can go out with my bf . Sometimes she says yes or no depending what time it is if it's 6 or 7 pm then no it's too late, I already know not ask . If I come home from work at 5 pm and if I'm allowed to go with my bf and get home at 8pm then I'm late I get yelled at and told many mean things that hurts me. I tell her I'm already going to be 21 and she treats me like a little kid and she will say her house her rules and if I don't like it I can get married in order to move out. She takes me everywhere with her if she goes to downtown , the market, just anywhere I'll have to go along with her I have no rights to say no. If I hang out with my bf, then 2-4 hours later a friend wants to hang out with me I already know that I can't cause I already hanged out with my bf . Even if it was the opposite way around I hang out with my friends then later on I can't go with my bf. My bf is tired of this he say that I let myself I'm an adult and I should stand up for myself and no one should control my life. I tell him I can't do anything about it cause she's my grandma I live under her roof. I don't like fighting with her she is diabetic she will get really angry end up sick or in the hospital |
Question: Defiant teenage daughter !? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 06:56 AM PDT PLEASE, no ugly or hateful replies ! So, I have a daughter that will be 18 in 2 weeks. She was an amazing child until 1 year ago when she dated an older guy (she was 16 and he was 18). He was great at first but it lead to finding out he was controlling, abusing and manipulative to our daughter. Once we stopped her from seeing him, it resulted in him sending us death threats, us having a protective order placed on him and finally 10 court hearings later (and him violating the order and revoking his bond 3 times), he spent 42 days in jail. During this, our daughter had to be placed in rehab twice for attempted suicide and considering she played a part in this guy breaking the order, she was placed in juvenile detention 3 weeks. She continues to keep up with him, tries to contact him, drinks, smokes pot, and makes post on social sites (she blocked us from but others on her sites have shared the info with us) about sex, pot, etc. So, my question is NOW WHAT?? We also had her in counseling, psychiatrist and had tons of people talk with her. She is absolutely beautiful and has such a kind heart for others but I'm so scared what's going to happen when she turns 18 in 2 weeks. She doesn't really have anywhere to move out to but I know she will do whatever to keep from following our rules. I am having a hard time letting go. PLEASE give me some advice of how to handle this before I end up having a nervous break down. Thanks so much in advance for any help or advice given ! |

Question: I have a bad mother? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 06:18 AM PDT I'm so tired of my mom! When I had a job earlier this year I wanted to move out because I was 18 and she threw a fit about so I didn't. Then she bugged me until I quit because I couldn't get up in time for school and sometimes I wouldn't go because I was so tired. She told me that wouldn't have to get a job until I graduate. My mom has been kind in this way by allowing my boyfriend to live with us. She keeps saying when am I going to move out and I said after I graduate. If she wanted me to move out so bad she should have let me when I had a job. She says well your sister has a job and goes to school. True but, she only goes 2 hours a day when school is in session. She got a job from the work force from the school. She gave my sister a car when that car was supposed to mine becuase that what's my mother had said. It sure would be easier to have a job if I had a car or at least a license. My mom won't allow me to take my driver license test becuase she thinks I won't pass and she won't take me out to practice either. She took my sister out practicing and my sister has her driver license. My sister is one year younger than me and my mom gives everything to her. then my mom gets in my business saying are you taking birth control. It's not her business. I Tried a couple months back to get pregnant and I miscarriaged becuase of complications after stopping the depo shot. When my mom first out she asked the doctor what abortion methods could be used and told she can't decide for me |
Question: I don't Like to be near people I don't know? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 06:11 AM PDT Hi, I'm 13, And I'd love to go outside and put down the electronics (after I watch anime) But I'm just too shy to talk to new people. Question: English is not my mother tongue. Could I ask you a question? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 05:59 AM PDT Is it weird to pronounce? or does it sound weird? It's kind of Name. word : Yonhye What do you think about the word? |
Question: Parents and I have clashing views? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 05:48 AM PDT My parents, more so my mother, are very strict Catholics and raised me that way. My parents have known for years that I am agnostic and don't share the same views as them. I believe they have come to somewhat accept that but they've also recently been shaming me for what I decide to do. I am 21 years old and just moved in with my boyfriend of 6 years. As soon as I told them, they blew up. They told me that moving in together before marriage is wrong and sinful and will only lead to sex and other "dirty actions." They also told me that they would stop helping me out financially if they found out I was having premarital sex (which I have been, since I was 17. They don't know that part yet.) I just wish my parents could share my happiness with me. Is there any way to go about doing this? Maybe try to get them to accept things like this more? |
Question: I need 30$ to buy a microphone, any help would be appreciated!? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 05:36 AM PDT It's probably one of the stupidest "scream for help" questions for me to ask, but i really do need 30$ for a microphone. I currently live in a country where i can't find a job. My parents are focused on making money for a food, and they don't want to buy me one, because they barely can afford me the food and school supplies. I'm 16 by the way, and after making through the one round on the x factor in my country, i wanted to do covers of the song, but i don't have money to buy a microphone and i think it's the only thing that can make me feel happier. Sorry if this "question" disturbs you, i just wanted to ask. Any help appreciated! |

Question: Should I tell my daughter about her bio dad and should I tell her bio dad she exists? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 05:32 AM PDT When I was in college, I became pregnant. There was a one night stand (with protection) with a male roommate while I was in a relationship with my future husband. When I discovered I was pregnant, both my future husband and I assumed it was his. I told him about the one night stand and we both moved past it and got married. 5 years later we divorced and during the course of the divorce he ordered a paternity test on our two children (without me knowing). The result was that our oldest daughter was not his. Since this came to light during court, the judge made rulings that the daughter not be told and that the subject be sealed in courts. Due to the nasty nature of the divorce, we started taking our daughter to a therapist. The therapist says that we should tell our daughter that she has a biological father (who, according to facebook, has another 13 year old daughter) around age 8 so that it can become part of her identity and not be a traumatic experience learning about it later. I am at odds with her adopted father and the courts because I feel she should know since she is getting so close to 8 years old. I dont want to tell her everything, just naturally start a discussion about family and what it means to different people. I am also struggling with telling the biological father that he has a daughter with me. What do you think I should do? |
Question: Keep dreaming about my aunt that I hate?? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 05:18 AM PDT Okay so for the past three days I have been dreaming about my aunt that I hate and she I guess hates me as well. I have no idea why she hates me, I asked and it's supposedly because I have a bad attitude and disrespect my parents, which is just totally a bold faced lie! she always had treated me differently and was always mean to me. Last year I finally had it in a way, I called her and cursed her out.... why am I having dreams about her? |
Question: I need to get out of a situation with my mom? Posted: 29 Apr 2015 05:16 AM PDT Every morning we have our routine of her yelling at me for everything. I'm tired of it, this morning in the car she asked me a question and I was mad so I didn't respond so she stopped the car as hard as she could ( I had two bowls of cereal in my lap, mine and hers) and the milk went everywhere all over my pants, then she backhanded my face. Then she also made me go to school with the milk and sugar covered pants. I need to know what to do to move out. |
Posted: 29 Apr 2015 04:53 AM PDT ok so my birthday is tomorrow and my step dad decides that its a good idea to throw a tantrum on me and rip off my door and adding to that a friend of mine told me that disrespectful kids go to hell and that i was going there then after being hit with a door and being talked to that way i was then told that i couldn't leave and go stay with somebody for a couple days because my birthday isnt about me ts about my mother and i said that i was gonna leave and they are pretty much manipulating everyone into thinking that i am evil and that i started the fight with my stepdad and i am now being forcedto stay at my house on my birthday wich apparently was never meant for me its for my mother and it hurts to stay in a household where people laugh at you when you are being ridiculed and when you are at your lowest point. |
