first, im not a druggie kid but ive really been behaving like one these past few months, literally smoking it at every chance i get now that i have a job to make money (im 17 in may) and its just been obviously way out of control. i came home super baked last night to my moms and she found a second pill bottle that i had forgot out in the open before i left to get a dub ($20 dollarsworth) and when i got home my mom was waiting at the top of the stairs and said "we have a lot to talk about" and obviously i was blazed out of my mind so i hid in the bathroom and she left me alone all night but in less than 3 hours shes coming over to my dads (where in staying this week) and talking to me, then my dad who has no idea (as far as i know). i know my mom is pissed and my dad will be upset and dissapointed in me, not to mention my gf has known for several months and is against it because in the bible it says to live a sober-minded life which i havent been doing. Ive already decided today that im done with weed but its too late because the damage has been done and i need help to not stress out (especially since theres a huge 3-4 hour state-wide test tomorrow morning and i have a few teachers who really hate me right now for late work and not doing any work at all) so as you can see ive really just screwed myself over. what can i do to make this go by quickly and do as little damage as possible to my parents?

My step-daughter has been very disobedient lately, her mother is on visiting relatives in England for the next month, and I am responsible for keeping her under control, she refuses to listen to me half the time and even had the audacity to cuss to my face, screaming that I am not her father and have no right to tell her what to do. I have sent her to bed without dinner on a few occasions, and have grounded her, but she is still unruly, I don't want to spank her or anything, but I feel like I need to do something that will get her to listen, if I revoke her bathroom privileges for a day, do you think that it might teach her a lesson?

First off let me just say I'm barely 17, I'm always told I'm very bright and I really don't hang out with the drug crow,d but I have been very fond of weed for almost an entire year now and just in the past few months its gotten really out of control, smoking before and after school, plus before bed and any other time I know I'll be alone for a few hours. When i got home i was insanely high since i hadnt smoked for a week and both the old bottle with the note and the new one were both on my desk, opened. I hid in the bathroom for the whole night and in about 3 and a half mom is coming over to my dads, where im staying this week, to talk to me and then my dad who is the cleanest person on earth. My mom said we needed to talk about where im living now, and she added that we need to talk about a beater (car) i was going to get this summer, along with a new laptop. i have a job but its not enough for either so in only going to be pitching in about half or a third of the costs. or at least i was. dont know what to do or say now, really stressed please help

Ok basically so on my birth certificate the second letter on my name is spelled with an "e" but on my social security the second letter is spelled with an "a". And like my whole life I've been spelling my name with an "a" but I'm 17 right now and soon I am gonna be applying for colleges and all that stuff so having a misspelling on my name is just gonna mess me up. I tried first trying to change my name on my birth certificate but in order to do that i have to get 2 offical papers with my name spelled with an "a" and have to be like 7 years old. First off I didn't sleep at all last night. Also I have a injured heel which I think I hurt again. My teacher assigned me a 75 point assignment and I need a laptop to do it but my parents refuse to buy me a laptop even though it's for school. Last summer I had fallen in love with a girl, who ended up not feeling the same way about me as I did her. My issue is that yesterday my fiance and I got into an argument in which she tried to leave me without saying anything. Aside from that I had apologized because I am detoxing off Xanax (alprazolam), Cocaine, and Marijuana. I have quit drugs and have been experiencing weak apetite, anxiety, I even had a panic attack yesterday which I will explain in a second. I am in withdrawl though not as severe to the point where I experience convulsions or seizures. Long story short I told my fiance I was sorry and asked for forgiviness many times. I had told her that I had a final and she read my messages via whatsapp and still ignored me. I explained how serious it was that I pass this final and she didn't want to comprehend or even speak to me after I had told her I cannot study or concentrate under this much pressure and anxiety. She feels as if it is my own fault for not doing well on my exam, I explained to her that all I wanted was for her to have the courtesy to at least say something to me. I was so worried about losing the woman I love whom I have been with for three years that I could not concentrate to study. I also do work full time and don't have much free time. I find it necessary to study the day before an exam because it helps me in terms of memorizing. I would like a few opinions on who is at fault. Anybody?

So yesterday, I told my best friend I wanted to be even more open about things with them. They were accepting and wanted to know what about. I said it had to do with a personal thing I never told them about AND from when we had a fight and separated last year (back together now). They got nervous when I mentioned our separation. Does this mean they like me more than friends since a separation apparently hurt them so much (we're opposite genders)? If I don't hear from them here soon, would it be ok for me to text them first again today to initiate the second part we didn't get to yesterday? How can I reinitiate it?

Would you be upset I'd your significant other left you a few weeks after your mom died? My boyfriend went on vacation 6 weeks after my mom died . It was a vacation he planned in secrecy while my mom only had a week to live. He didn't tell me about it and I only found out because I noticed he was getting an abnormally high number of texts from his sister that was going to Vegas for work and began peeking at the texts. The week he left I was in a very bad place and I expressed to him that I didn't want him to leave. My husband and I got married 2.5 years ago. He shares custody of his two kids (b, 9 g, 8) with his ex, where they each get one week with the kids and one week without. I have two kids as well (g, 10 b, 7). My in-laws moved back to the area last year, which made my husband really happy at first. But almost straight away the favoritism started and not just small stuff. They spoil their grandkids (husbands kids) all the time. We had to put a stop to it in our house because they completely left out my kids. My husband then found out they were just doing it at their moms house instead. An example is they arranged to take my stepkids to a theme park during their moms time with them. My FIL came to our house and started talking about it in front of my kids, and when my son asked a question about it, he was told he didn't need an answer because he wasn't going. My husband told his father off and asked him to leave. Then all my stepkids could talk about was the theme park. My husband told them to stop and they got mad at him. Another example is Christmas. Stepkids brought their presents from their moms house to our house. They had so much stuff (all from grandparents) and my sons heart broke. My daughter left the room. It's harder on them because they have no grandparents (mine are deceased and their fathers don't want to know either). Husband told the kids to stop bragging and they did, but were annoyed with him again. We had to stop going to my husbands parents house because his parents and sister encouraged the cousins not to play with my kids. And they were left out of going to get ice cream. We've tried talking to them, but they said they simply don't care if my kids are happy or not. My husband said they don't have to love them the same, but they should treat them the same when they're all together because it only hurts the other kids to be treated so badly. Advice?

I have a boyfriend of a year and a half who lives with me rent free, does not pay for bills including his iPhone, and only pays for dates/food/etc when he has not blown his money on clothes, weed or alcohol. He went on a trip to see his family, and his family paid for it, to supposedly get away from me because I apparently have so much stress I am making him feel over stressed. He is an alcoholic and I have told him that he cannot be in the house drunk. He did good for a week, but last night He had about 5 beers and I was livid and freaked out a little. I tried to kick him out but he will not go. I love him but he has no respect for me anymore and I need peace. He has cheated on me three times, has stolen money, and really bulldozed me into supporting him in my vulnerable state. I have lost my Dad, Mom, Dog all in the past two years. I know people will say just kick him out but he uses my second car and I do not want him to steal it anb like I said, he wont go. I even offered him a payoff to leave. What can I do? I know I am an idiot for getting in this situation to begin with. Please be kind with your comments...I have been through alot.

Our love story began when we met online. Crazy to imagine but we fell in love. After 2 years of talking online we decided to meet and possibly get married. Stuff happened that prevented me from flying to visit him (in his home country). We never met but still stayed in contact and we swore to each other that we'd be together and find a way. I was a student at the time and it was difficult for me to take time off school to visit him. We stayed in contact through the years, for 6-7 YEARS and then the last year we were on and off in contact. He attempted to come to the US but was denied a visa everytime he tried. I love this man with every bone in my body. We were always in contact, through IM, Skype, you name it. I finished my studies and FINALLY had the opportunity to finally go see him. we always fought about why I couldn't go see him and my reason was always that I was in school finishing my degree and couldn't just take a break for 2 weeks and go see him. He waited and waited for me, and said he'd wait for me till i was done w/school. I finished school and reached out to him...I come to find out that, 4 months earlier, he had gotten married and had a baby on the way. My heart broke, i felt like the world was ending. He told me he got married because he thought I wasn't going to come. But he told me he wasn't happy in his marriage and during his wife's pregnancy said he wished he'd never married her and would divorce her if she wasn't pregnant. My timing was horrible. I realize that I made him wait too long for me, and I always thought he'd wait for me.... and life came to bite me in the behind. He keeps saying he wants to leave her, but doesn't want to lose his daughter. He keeps asking me what can we do to be together and I've told him, you know the answer. I do not want to be his woman on the side. I never thought I'd be in love with married man...i knew him when he was single and fresh out of college. I just don't know what to do. I don't want to be a homewrecker and destroy his family. I don't think he'll leave his wife but he also tells me he's not happy with her and that there's no communication between them. that he doesn't like going home after work because she's there. he said he got married to her because he was reaching 30....I still love him with all my heart, with such an intensity that i can't imagine loving anyone else but him. He's been married for less than a year and their baby was born a couple months ago. he says he'd leave her if they hadn't had a baby. but now that the baby is there and just a couple months old, he says he needs to stay. I just can't imagine my life without him. thank you everyone for your responses, it's tough but i needed to read that.

Why sisters have to do that? I mean sometimes I like, but when sister uses a broom handle or her dog, it hurts. Blood came out and she started laughing. Dog licked it up and I'm scared. BTW she's 12 and I'm 19. This is the truth guys. Plus she told her boyfriend about me and he wants in. Should I say yes?

My life is just ****. My mom has no sympathy for me at times and I feel like no one cares about me as a person. I'm picked on because of what I like and what I look like. My friends say they are there for me but never are.. My dad and I are very distant and he doesn't make a effort to get to know me even though I try with him. My grades are complete trash even though I try so hard in school.. I cry myself to sleep at night every night and feel so alone. I have no one to talk to and I sucks. I just want to die

I'm Clark, and I'm 12, my parents were never married, and for as far as I can remember they have both been apart i still see both of them though. So 7 years ago my mom introduced me to this man (later husband) and I was really excited. So about 1 year later they get married, we move in to his house and that's when the abusive relationship starts (shoving my pregnant mom down the stairs, throwing tires at her, ect.) She had problems as a kid so she doesn't really know what a normal life is. So 7 years later we've moved out, but she has not gotten divorced, and I have a aching rage to kill that man. We were ice skating last week , and this guy (good skater) started giving my mom some "pointers" but the instant I saw him I disliked him, and he was giving off a predatory vibe, apparently noticed only by me. They were chatting the entire time after that and mom did no skating with me anymore. That guy was trying to hook up with her, I just know it! Stuff didn't work out between them once she learned about his home situation, but still that was close. I got really territorial and jealous over my mom when he was talking to her. This week one of her newer friends, (obviously likes her, she knows it too) came over while I was downstairs, they watched two movies and didn't even bother to ask me to join them, and when I came upstairs she was asleep with her head on his lap! Im She thinks she was giving me alone time and doesnt understand why I'm upset, and gets mad at me. Please help me

I've known my freind and his mom for a long time but recently my friends mom has recently been acting kind of weird and flirty. Like one time a couple of my friends were at his house but he and my other friends left to go get beer there were no more available seats so I stayed and I was all alone with his mom and she insisted on feeding me I didn't want to be rude so I accepted food and she sat down and I sat down a 2 seats away from her so I wouldn't come of as weird but then she started asking me why I sat so far away from her and if I thought she was ugly or something then her younger son came down into the room and it was ended. Another time I also went out with his family and she said something flirty to me and winked at me. There are a lot of other examples but does she want to get with me or something

Why do I feel so alone, when I'm not? Today I sat in bed and did nothing all day and did nothing. I'm failing school so i been working my *** off. I have friends/aquantences that I try to trust but every time I say something about my emotions they ignore it.I try to talk to my mom but she works to much. My devorced drunk dad isnt much help either. And my granda had past away.I've been trying to make myself happy after 2 months of depression. I tried to change habits like eating healthier and doing face masks but I'm still alone/sad

His wife doesn't live with him yet because she is back in Pakistan and doesn't have her visa to Europe. After I found out he cut things off with me. Clearly he is not happy about his arranged marriage otherwise he wouldn't be cheating on his wife with me. He even tried seducing me the week he was getting married. My question is. Do u think he will even think of me or miss me now that he has cut things off? I really miss him and I wish he wasn't married. Things could have been so much better

Me and my crush have spoken a few times throughout the school year becuz it's hard for me to talk to him since we have no classes together he's a really nice guy I feel like something's missing when I don't talk to him can I still go up to him daily from now on to get closer to him for a month til graduation? for starters I'm a 18 yr old girl that lives in Dallas. My parents have always been super strict especially my mom and it's worse since I'm an only child. I have just not recently got to be able to go out of the state with my friends parents and that took a lot of effort. My best friend is having a baby shower and she lives in El Paso. I have a ride with someone else that is going and money to pay gas. I didn't even ask my mom if I could go just brought up the subject and she directly said no. I really want to go and also the fact that I am an adult that wants to be able to have more freedom and not be treated like a 12 yr old. My ride already goes that direction to visit family and my friend who's having the baby shower lives 30 min away for that. I need help on how to change a strict moms mind.

Its so complicated even though it seems like it wouldn't be. When ever I see a hot girl on TV or the internet I say out loud that shes hot and my mom brings up some random male actor and says what about him which makes me mad. She bought me a fancy bra which is something I would never wear I returned it to her saying "It's not something I would wear but i wouldn't mind seeing it on my girlfriend" she got mad and said I meant boyfriend. My sister asked if her boyfriend could come over and my mom said yes I asked when I could bring my girlfriend over (I don't actually have a girlfriend) and she yells "not in my house". Does she get the picture and is just denying it or is she just stupid? I'm only 14 so that makes it complicated, should I just wait till i'm 18 and I don't have to live with her?

ok, so my mom and and i got into a fight.I was pissed and said many things i regret now.The worst one was when I said that it would of been better if she died and we didn't have to move to America..Cuz i hate it here……(8 years ago my mom got into an accident and survived and a year later she won a green card)
