For example I wanted to get my mother a coffee mug (she loves coffee) but I can't just order one on any of the websites they all say I need to order the minimum of 50 mugs. It started out when I got cut from my school's soccer team. I was the only one of my entire team to get cut and I know I was putting in just as much effort as everyone else. I don't have an attitude or anything and I play competitivly too.My school is competitive in soccer but I thought for sure that I would have continued being a good team member this year. So the first semester felt like it took forever and I was so miserable hearing about the team because I love soccer so much. I want to go to college for soccer and I know I will be a perfect fit for some school's soccer program. Probably not D1, but I know I will be a good fit somewhere. Also,I've had days at school where I have either cried or been on the verge of crying because of how much I hated the school. The people can be so cruel sometimes. I walk into my 4th period and I wish I could disappear because I get a vibe like I'm not welcomed from mosrt people. The teachers are also pretty bad and make the content so much more confusing than what it is. Don't get me wrong, I do have friends and I'm sad that I might leave them. But I don't know what to do. At the school I may transfer to, I don't really know anybody but I'm almost positive I would make varsity next year. It is also a better school in general. If I stay at my school I will be miserable but if I leave I'm scared and feel anxiety. What should I do? |

Posted: 17 Apr 2015 12:49 PM PDT I have a regular, somewhat common first name, but I associate it with a bullied and abusive childhood. Because of my history I hate the name, and even feel an uncontrollable aversion to other people who themselves have it. I started going by my middle name when I became independent and began a recovery from my past. Only my immediate family use it exclusively, everyone else knows me by my middle name. My credit cards and checks show: 1st initial, middle, and last. I'll probably frame the diploma and would consider displaying it in my home. I don't know if I will enter a profession where I am required to display the diploma (50/50 chance?) but if I do, I would prefer curious people to not ask me about the first name such as why I don't use it, or even use playfully. Eventually my family will want to look at the diploma. Would their pride may diminish not seeing the name they call me on it, particularly my sister who I am especially close to and who listened to me complain through many dramatic ordeals regarding college. All that said - how should I have my name read? Will "1st initial/middle/last" seem odd on a diploma? Will "middle/last" somehow dismiss my families feelings, or just not seem "official"? Or should I buck up and just put my full name on there, given the formal nature of the document? (Did I mention that I hate the name? Just checking.) |

Posted: 17 Apr 2015 12:28 PM PDT My brothers wife moved and took their less than a year old baby to New Mexico from Missouri even though my brother did not want her to leave, well she could leave but not the baby. Now a year later they are trying to settle a divorce. She has sent him the paperwork and has demanded that he return them in less than 24 hours after first reading them. On the documents it states that he makes a large sum of money a month (He doesn't have a job) and that she makes the same amount and pays $620 towards the babys expenses and he pays less than that. In reality he has sent her over $7500 in the 9 months she has been away from him and even though she has a job he still gives her money. Even begging my parents to give him the money to send. She said they have no bank accounts when thats a lie. She mismarked item prices some by as much as $1,900.00. She said they would do the divorce without legal counsel and she lied, she also said he wouldn't have to pay child support since he already sends them any money they need, LIE. So he said since you lied to me I am going to also go get an attorney to look over the paperwork and fix the numbers that are wrong and I will send you the new papers to sign. So she threatens that if he doesn't send them back by tomorrow she will file Contested. Which he is all for a divorce from this psycho but he is also not trying to be royally screwed for life. Can she file like that? What can he do to protect himself? |

However all the financial advisors I talked to were way too expensive. I know a guy that is a financial genius that could help me but I was afraid to call him. He is my ex husband Joe. We remained friends after the divorce. However he has moved on with his life. Several times I picked up the phone to call him and asked for his help but I couldn't do it, I was afraid he would reject me. Finally it took all the courage I had, I called and explained what I wanted. He said lets meet for lunch tomorrow and I will help you get started. I was in for another surprise. He took me to lunch at Ruth Chris. It was the best restaurant meal I had ever had. It should be for their prices and Joe would not let me pay for it. We had a great meal and great conversation and he gave me great investment advice. He insisted I meed him at Ruth Chris every month to review my investments. Each time he insisted he pay for the meal and he never charged me for his investment advice. That was over a year ago and my investments have done great. Each time I offered to pay for the meal. He said "I don't charge friends for helping them". My friends that I told about this told me he wanted me back. They said no guy will take you to such an expensive place as Ruth Chris once a month unless he had feeling for you. Are my friends right or is he just being a nice guy? Why do you think he is doing this for me? |

He always thinks he's better than everyone and talks down to you if your not "popular" or whatever. We were on the same basketball team and he would always kiss a ss to get more playing time and treated everyone including me like s hit. Everytime I'm in the same room with him I can feel the tension and just hate his guts. We where lifting partners one time and I tried to kinda be friendly or whatever and he told me to shut the f uck up and said I was a loser with no friends which made me more angry cause that's not true. I know for a fact if we ever got into a fight I could take him down instantly because I'm stronger and more aggressive than he is and he's never been into a fight his whole life even though he likes to talk like he has. He's always had a sense on entitlement and aarogance about him and thinks everyone likes him when in reality almost whole grade hates his guts. I've had thoughts of beating him to a pulp until he's dead and other things like that. I know this isn't healthy and I barely even see him anymore. He's in my government class this year and I just can't stand him. How do I get his hatred and bottled up resentment out of me? |

I like to stay active and it's just something I like to do, I've done it for 6 years almost every day of the week. The only problem is, I have absolutely no boobs. See that normally wouldn't be a problem, but 6 years of doing it, yes I am muscular. Yes I don't have boobs, I look like a guy and I've had people say that to me before not understanding how much it bothers me. I've been called lesbian (I told them that just because I weight lift does not mean I'm lesbian) but it's just something personal. See I want at least one thing that'll make my body look more feminine, I'm doing it for me. But one thing I'm cautious about, will people think I did it for others? I've heard a lot of story's where in relationships that are going great the guy breaks up with the girl because she has implants and thinks she's a fake person. He's been married a few years and he's in his mid 40's. A few years ago he started an ongoing affair with a young 21 year old college student and they would hook up on the regular. Most of the time they'd just hook up for sex and every now and again she'd hit him up for $30 or $40. He didn't mind helping her out on the regular. He stated that the last time they hooked up they were done with the act and she made this comment to him, "See, that's why I'm never getting married cause I'd hate to end up with a guy like you." He stated that he was a little shocked that she would say that. Granted he was wrong for cheating but she's the one who's allowing him to cheat and she's accepting money so does that give her the right to judge him? On Wednesday his father passed away by suicide and I even tried to see if my program would let me come home but they denied my request. Tomorrow morning is the funeral and I honestly don't know what to say or do since I'm so far away. I want to be with him and help him through this hard time. But it's hard to do that with just words. Do I give him space? Do I text him a lot and let him know I'm thinking of him? I'm so confused and I'm hurting myself. I'm scared for the worse, and I really want to do my best to help. |

| Posted: 16 Apr 2015 11:54 PM PDT So ive noticed my mind searches through old memories for people that ever pissed me off or tried to make me feel bad/inferior whatever, and a couple days ago remembered some guy from an old 11th grade history class from high school who always tried to make me look bad in front of this girl, i guess he liked her but not sure, anyway, idk why but i gave into cussing him out on facebook, then apologized, then he made me mad again so i said more rude things, then ended up blocking him then unblocking him and apologized again cuz i felt bad about making an enemy, he ended up saying i dont really have any importance to him, anyway i dont wanna hold a grudge, but i dont wanna feel like im too weak to live knowing i made an enemy, i shouldnt really care i think, i also had a ptsd like experience as a kid, and have OCD which im sure contributes to this. anyway, should i cuss him out again to try and shut this obsession up? My friends and therapist also tell me to just let it be, leave it alone and move on with my life instead of thinking about it. |

I work and go to school so I'm saving up for a car and my own place. When she found out she flipped. Woke me up 2 am, beating me with a extentiin/cable cord, calling me all names in the book. After talking to her for a while I was told that her father made her break up with him and date someone else who she's not aloud to break up with. Both she and my other friend are really upset and it's upsetting to me as well. Is there anything I can do to help? |

I always tried to make sure he was happy and that our relationship was as open,honest and happy as it could be. 3days before we broke up he said he would never brake up with me and told me how much i meant to him but yet 3 days later he broke up with me....i dont know what to do as no matter how many guys like me or flirt with me or no matter how happy i am i keep coming back to him. This guy meant so much to me and ive told him this time and time again and can never give me a full answer or identical answer or why he broke up with me. Lately im just trying to keep a conversation going with him. What should i do? Should i just let him go,wait, see what happens over time. And how can i try to stop getting so worked up. |

However now this girl that's her friend and might I add pregnant is trying to fight me. Threatening to come to my house and kick my ***. She tries to fight everyone for the stupidest reasons but isn't this a form of child endangerment if she does show up to my house trying to fight me? Is there anything I can do before that point? While I don't condone fighting I am liable to self defend myself but since she's pregnant and she's the one trying to start it isn't that child endangerment? |

I used to make fun of her for being poor, ugly, and barely literate; I used to hit her with a belt, cane and a frying pan. One time, she needed my computer for an urgent assignment, and I charged her fifty dollars; and when she refused to pay, my parents docked it from her salary. Even though I wasnt a racist, I would make racial slurs to her in order to inflict emotional abuse, which I stopped doing after my parents took video games away. I also had some clever remarks, like holding a penny up to her face and claiming it was worth more than her value as a person; and after asking me to say "excuse me" after she coughed, I sent her into shock by saying, "I know I'm supposed to say 'excuse me'; I'm just not saying it to you because I don't respect you as a human-being," in which I would often refer to her as "it." I was only a kid when I did all of this, and since it was years ago, I would expect her to get over it. However, she has recently been calling me up, asking me if I would go to the park with her, go meet her pastors, have her cook for me, and do other random activities. My parents told me she is just lonely, but it seems that loneliness wouldn't be enough to make her want to hang out with me. I just want to know if anyone else thinks that I have the right to be creeped out, and if they have any suggestions as to what I should do. If she needs to let go of any grudge. |

She's a mom of 2, who recently lost her daughter(she was my age) 3years ago. We are really close, we're like family. Anyway Mother's Day is coming & I wanted to write her a Mother's Day card saying what a wonderful mom she is to her 2 sons, how she's such an inspiring amazing women & how she is special to me. Daughterly words I guess you can say(not trying to replace her daughter at all.) what do you think? It was just an idea & I really want to do it but I'm afraid she won't like it or it won't be appropriate?... I'm afraid it would be weird cause I'm not her kid. Anyway what's your opinion? & should I ask my mom if I should do it? Right now I really don't know what to do, Don't worry I already have my own moms gift ready & done! |

Posted: 16 Apr 2015 07:30 PM PDT When there's no clear basic respect..does it often happen that he believes you don't respect him, so he treats you bad or plain ignores you..or is it more fear? I've been told one way or another guys don't respect me or love me much, Ive never been treated special much I've been told I'm a bit unapproachable, I get sad when he does stuff like that, acting offensive avoiding, uninterested or angry And I do not totally know why he has reacted such way. I've been trying to ccompletely let go of the idea of being treated well by a guy I'm older than 20 and mid 20s.. And they act so disturbing sometimes I've been completely avoiding real "face time" put simply, they've been quite seemingly uninterested and flat out rude offensive and selfish. A few times a guy will be nice but I kept finding I can not put trust in them. Most females as well, and I think this adds to their ambivalence over caring much about me I end up spending most all my time alone and avoiding chatting with others. Honestly..advice, thanks.. |

Basically, I'm in an office with 7 other people, one of whom is my boss. From the first week, I noticed how cliquey the office was, especially the girls (there are 3 besides me). They made little effort to get to know me, even when I tried to make conversation with them. They've blatantly gone out after work without inviting me and often even pretend I am not there when having conversations. Unfortunately, I have a very impersonal boss who does a poor job of Instilling a sense of community in the office, so I'm sure that doesn't help matters! Basically, I'm planning on leaving the position, first and foremost because I am getting underpaid and a handful of other issues! I am just wondering, are office cliques of this extremity common? I know they happen but I've never experienced such a cliquey and uncomfortable working environment, even among the internships and jobs I've held before. I wanted to hear from those with more experience than me! Thanks in advance. |

She goes to my school but i don't have her for any of my classes so we basically only talk thru text and just exchange some Hi's in between each class. We've only had like 3-4 real conversations in person and it sucks because i really want to talk to her. Anyways.. I kinda have a feeling that shes interested in me so i was thinking about asking her to our school's Prom. So i went to ask her friends what they thought of it and they told me that i should do it because they think she'll say yes. Everything was going fine and i was feeling confident about asking her. Until one day her friends told me she's thinking about taking a guy friend as a guest. Her friends tell me shes still not 100% sure if she wants to take the guy but that they think i shouldn't ask her anymore. My question is.... Should i still ask her hoping that she changes her mind on going with the guy and goes with me instead? Or should i not risk it and go to Prom by myself? I still want to ask her but i know theres a high chance of getting rejected, but then again its my last year in high school so i know I'm gonna regret it if i don't ask her. What should i do? I want to ask her tomorrow before its too late! |

Plus she's always telling me how to clean my house and cook. And saying that not doing something right when it comes to my own girls who are 3 and 1. For instance she got mad because I didn't punish our three year old right when she broke something but I just told her not to do it again which is enough for a three year old child but my mother in law said she's going to grow up spoiled if that's all I was going to do. Then she says stuff about how I cook like how heating frozen waffles in the microwave isn't cooking breakfast for your husband and that I don't clean enough. Yes I'll admit the house isn't as clean as it should be but I have two kids under 4 and a job as well but for some reason she doesn't get that and when I do fight with her, he always takes her side and tells me to respect her and how he doesn't appreciate me snapping and being mean to her! But I'm tired of her living here and she needs to go. I thought her living here would be temporary but she's been here almost a month. How do I tell him to get her to leave? |
| Posted: 16 Apr 2015 06:26 PM PDT Veran hay una chica a la que le gusto demasiado, pero por ciertas razones mias, quiero que se "MUERA DE GANAS POR MI" ya consegui que se fijara en mi y que siempre se me este insinuando, hechandome indirectas muy directas, y cosas asi, asi que ya sabran, ya hice casi de todo, subo fotos con otras chicas mas guapas al face, quedo de salir con otras, le hablo y la prendo pero soy muy cortante con ella, y presumo de cosas, ya no sabe que hacer para llamar mi atencion jajaja tod@s me dicen que la traigo muerta, asi que quiero hacer una cosa mas, saldre con su mejor amiga jajaja yo se que eso la enfurecera aun mas, ademas de que perdera una amiga, (que en realidad no lo es, hasta le hare un favor al abrile los ojos), pero hay un problema, su amiga no es fea, pero no es tan bonita como ella, entonces creen que a causa de esto, se ponga aun mas celosa? claro esta que independientemente de eso, sera lastimada, y a causa de su mentalidad seguira muriendose por mi y que de cualquier modo lo are, pero creen que le de celos o no? osea en conclusion, ¿Es de saberse que para dar celos a una chica, funciona bien el salir con alguien mucho mas guapa, pero en este caso (tomando en cuenta todo lo anterior) creen que le de celos (ya que su amiga no es tan guapa)? |

I'm a nobody at school, my siblings hate me, and my moms abusive-actually abusive, not just spankings and occasional pops in the mouth. All my friends are weirdos and I don't even like most of them. My mom freaks out over every little thing my siblings and I do wrong, and she flips out if there's a mess though she never cleans. And the cherry on top is my mom just found out my brother and his friends have been doing drugs-during lunch at school. I put on this smiley mask for everyone but it's a stupid loser smile and I think I've finally killed it after I let a thought of my own slip at lunch today to one of my actual friends; how I wish I was popular. I've felt nothing but hate since. I've felt like I was about to cry or scream since lunch, but I didn't feel anything when I looked at my crush, and I feel nothing as my mom is in the living room now screaming at my brother. I feel nothing about my brother and his drugs, too. I feel absolutely freaking nothing except tears for some reason, but I never have the chance to cry from emotion. Literally, never. So if anyone has any advice, please don't say cry it out because I can't, and won't. I feel totally unafraid of everything right now, and part of my mind knows there's something wrong. Please help, someone. |
