Posted: 22 Apr 2015 06:59 PM PDT I fell in love with this girl when I was 16. she was my first love. everything was beautiful, intense... honestly just indescribable. we would stay in bed for days, just talk until 3am. we wanted to get married and talked about apartments. she was my everything. during this time I was suffering from depression and some internalized homophobia. i felt like she was a bit controlling. she didn't want me to smoke, drink, etc (I stopped for her but when I broke up with her I began again, I don't do it anymore) recently I saw a picture on Instagram (it has been 8 months) of her with someone else kissing. it completely broke my heart and I can feel a physical pain in my chest. I want her back so bad. I dated people after our breakup but after seeing that I broke down completely. I don't know why I'm dealing with this breakup backwards but I honestly feel like I need her. I don't know if she would ever take me back, I feel like there's no chance but I can't help thinking we belong together. I know I can't take her away from the other girl if she's happy but I really want her back. I don't know how to deal with this. I love her. I feel depressed again and I have had suicidal thoughts. Initially I told him I wanted to just stay friends but he persisted & I tried to see him as more than a friend. I didn't tell him I was considering anything during that time. After a few weeks of him still saying stuff, I decided I couldn't see him that way so I told him being anything more than friends wasn't an option and I hoped he understood. He basically acted like I was crazy for thinking he wanted anything more and said he wasn't pursuing that nor was he not pursuing it. I didn't understand what he was trying to do & felt like he was trying to use me in some way, so I expressed this to him & he said stuff about how he wasn't looking to get into anything and then didn't speak to me for a month. I was so confused because idk what his issue was since he wasn't trying to get into anything to begin with. I texted him saying he didn't do anything wrong and I was sorry. I didn't want the friendship to end over something so stupid so I didn't care who was in the wrong at that point, though I think he made it worse. A simple conversation would've solved everything. He replied saying, "I'm not like holding anything against you." and that was it. Me and him have stopped talking for 3 months now (I was left in his inbox and was never replied to again.) I never liked anybody so much since 6th grade. He gave me hugs at school and we always would talk on Facebook and I know it sounds dumb but we never had a conversation in person--yeah I know. I was shy but I know he was too even though he denied it. I never really knew if he liked me because he was still stuck on some other girl. But I did know he told all his friends about me. He even told me once that "he only wanted his baby" when we were 4 days in to talking but he apologized two days later. I would always throw subs at him on facebook and he would do the same but then he would delete it. He always liked or comment on my subs to let me know he peeped it. He even was petty and brought up the fact that my friend said I had "hoes." And tbh, ever since he started hitting me up less. We used to talk everyday. He even started skipping lunch everyday when we fell out which is the only period we have together since we're in different grades and he recently came today and yesterday to lunch. I would usually try to find out if they liked me (so that I could make a move). I would find out that that they either didn't like me or she had a boyfriend but even if they didn't they didn't think of me like that. Last year this girl I liked had a boyfriend. I liked her and decided to stay around as a friend hoping one day she and her boyfriend would break up for some strange reason, and that she would after a little bit start liking me. During that time she mistreated me and I blindly let her. She would go from trying to make me jealous to ignoring my text. In theory I guessed I deserved this( moving in in someone else's girl an all). But there is two things that get to me really when she called me a creeper for trying to hangout with her and talk to her and when she sneakily tried to call me a ******. Anyway after months of crying I eventually ended my crush on her. I would remain somewhat friends with her l (don't ask why) after her I had some short lived crushes,as well she and her boyfriend then broke up.She eventually would date a friend of mine who was oblivious of my crush on her (they broke up do to him calming that she was a hit it and leave it deal).Now she looks at me at the other end of class in long gazes as if she wants to talk. My girlfriend is 29 weeks pregnant and she told me that she wants Jon, my best friend, in the room with her because "he's really been there for her." I think it's a load of crap. SHE'S always with HIM. She goes over to his house to study, she hangs out with him during free period, and they go to get pizza after school. He's always hugging her and rubbing her belly and the other day after a baseball game he had, someone told me she kissed him on the cheek. And he made her his woman crush Wednesday today. He was like "I love you so much" He is seriously overstepping his boundaries but I haven't said a word. I'm trying to be patient. I don't understand her. Or him. I have been there for her as much as she's allowed me to be. She's been living with me. I've been driving her to appointments, buying her food she craves, rubbing her feet and back, and holding her hair when she'd get sick. So why doesn't she want me to be in there with her? I don't understand. |

I know he still wants to get back together but I don't know if I should. Since a week ago I have not replied to him and completely ignored him and I don't know why and got no explanation for this behaviour. He is still persistent; annoying but don't want him to stop either... Am I leading him on? I have a lot of reasons why I decided to break up with him, nothing to do with him but more of how I realised how selfish as a person I am. Example: I broke up with him after he had a motorbike accident. A normal person, a good girlfriend, would have some sort of normal reaction, right? But for me, it was something I couldn't bring myself to care about... I felt bad that I couldn't do my job as a girlfriend. I can never show any concern or give emotional support. It's just who I am, I'm almost cold-hearted and useless as a human. (I'm not depressed just true to myself), but he doesn't care and still wants me. I do like him but for some reason I feel like he is not "the one." Not just him but in general I don't really see myself with anyone at all. When I think of my future, naturally, I don't picture myself happy with a man. I don't want to waste mine or his time if there is no future. My priority in life is to work and provide for my parents who worked hard all their lives. Anyway, any opinions/advice I would appreciate. I'm 21 years old. Sorry I wasn't clear. We have been friends since the break up, so for 3 months. We still talk and hang out but up until a week ago was when I ignored him completely. How can we be friends if he still wants me? Even still ignoring him, he still messages me. |

I'm really scared though bc IM worried that when I dance with a guy my hands will go all shaky and my face will go all red and I'll get totally nervous and that would just be very embarrasing Bc the guy who I'm dancing with would know. I'm just really nervous to dance with guys I know BC if I don't know them I won't really see them ever so if I do something Embarrasing it won't matter but if I know the dude it gonna be totally awkward when I do something embarrassing. So.... I decided to concentrate on myself, kind of took in what he said and i just didnt want to come across needy anymore.... So i just put my phone away more and do what i like, things i enjoy. Sometimes that's nothing and sometimes I'm truly busy. However, now that I am not begging for my boyfriend's attention and constantly being avaliable . He is accusing me of being distant, saying he thinks he's done something wrong...he keeps asking if I'm mad at him...
