He was still seeing this girl and lying making me look crazy even though he said he wanted to reconsile. Constantly worrying about what i was doing who i was dating. Now he moved in with this girl and now telling her he loves her and has this girl thinking there getting married. This other women is ratchet with five kids. We've hung out a bunch of times outside of our high school, and just yesterday we were out in town and he bought me a frozen yogurt. He's introduced me to almost all of his friends and shows me all kinds of books/music he's into. I was In a musical a while ago, and even though he told me he hated musicals, he came to mine anyway and told me after that he actually really enjoyed it... He also came to one of my chorus concerts as well. We have deep conversations all the time about our families/ racial issues etc all the time, and he teases me all the time as well as stands really close at times... He always is sure to remind me that both him and his friends enjoy my company too. Idk, he doesn't have any other friends like me and everyone we know always are surprised when they learn how much time we spend together, but he seems to be very protective about the fact that we are friends and if I'm introducing myself to someone else he always answers questions about me for me, and gives me this smile I don't know how to decipher. Anyway i was bored looking around the room. Across the room I noticed a guy looking over at me. We ended up locking eyes(I'm shy) so when we locked eyes I got nervous and looked away quickly. I looked back at him to see him still staring at me. He smiled and waved at me. Well I ended up looking like an idiot and didn't do anything back. He doesn't talk much in class unless we are put into groups to do peer review which is once and awhile. I confronted him while on the phone and said "I thought spouses weren't invited" He said "Oh yea they told us we could this morning" Id talked to him 2x this afternoon and he said nothing. He then texted me and said "i was wrong my friends girlfriends came because a few employees cancelled and the girls took the spots since there were extra reservations" So an entirely different story....after he said he was told spouses could attend by his boss this AM... |

We've been friends all year, but really didn't talk too much until we were paired together in two school projects. I wouldn't say that I know everything about her since we mostly talk about the task at hand. However, I've gotten to see more of her as a person, and she's simply amazing! Thanks to this she's been more friendly with me and such and has come for my help several times. Obviously I try to help every time I can, and I try to explain as best as I can. I've really always maintained a very polite and available tone whenever around her (I'm like that with most people though), so she knows that she can contact me any moment for help. Honestly, I can definetly say that I like her, but she's very close to another guy in class. One of my best friends noticed that I've been talking more about her, and asked me about it, but I completely denied everything. I don't want rumors to surface, and I don't know her relationship with that other classmate. The least I want to do is ruin anything she may be in right now. Then i met my ex and he took my virginity. He after said he got anxiety after taking it because its alot of responsibilty. I felt hurt when he said that. He was always distant. I would usually pay for our dates because he was a full time student. But i still didnt feel appreciated. He wouldn't even check up on me when i was sick or call me if i got home safe. When i would cry on the phone because i was upset at him he would just hangup on me and not call me back for days. He would talk about other girls. This happened for 7 months i couldn't deal with it anymore and called if quits. He agreed to the break up. He said he never considered marrying me and that he likes to be alone. I cried my self to sleep for a long time.I started smoking weed to get over him. Then months later he texted me that he wants to have make up sex because he is horny. I got really upset and called him. He apologized and said he was stupid for saying that. He said the breakup was a mistake that he wants someone to talk to. He has been texting me to hang out but i've been ignoring him. Even though he treated me wrong i still want to be there for him. His mom abuses him verbally and his brother has a mental condition. His dad barely talks to him.. He also has no friends to talk to. I want to help him but at the same times i dont want to fall for him again. |

The problem I am having is that he still does things with her. They will go out for breakfast together or go to the movies alone. When I tell him that it bothers me he still goes out with her alone he claims that she is the only person he has been able to become friends with at his new school. (He is in grad school, I m doing internships). I don t want him to see her anymore, but I also cannot tell him to drop his only friend. How do I get over my jealousy/insecurities? Started talking to a guy this January (I've known him for years though), I really started to like him and things were going great and then bam - he got back with his ex and now within 2 weeks they're engaged. Then one guy said he wanted me to be his girlfriend which I was not ready for at the time (this was two weeks ago). He said that I had to decide by the weekend what I wanted. I decided I did not want to be exclusive, mainly because I thought i liked the other guy. The first guy stopped talking to me. I saw the other guy and could not stop thinking about the first guy.\ When I go to his frat, he gets really distressed and tries to make me jealous. |

The problem is that I love talking to him because he's also my best friend and, well, I like him haha. I just don't know if it's okay if we text daily? It doesn't seem to bother him but I'm afraid he'll get bored of me eventually. We also go to the same high school and we're on the same classroom. I know, it's too much but before we dated, we texted daily. Soooo... What should I do? Ask him if it bothers him? Make him miss me? Continue texting him? | Question: Female bartender called me babe a few times? Posted: 25 Apr 2015 07:04 PM PDT I was sitting at the bar alone at a restaraunt bar, and this female bartender called me 'babe' a few times. There was another guy around the same age close to me and she never called him babe. Why would she do this? I never really had a co versation with her, and I have been there a few times, usually for take out. I know that bartenders work for tips and all but babe is a little bit more aggressive or something don't you think? |

This was a fairly innocent thing as I also got other work friends donuts on the birthdays just to be festive. She threw up her hands and said, "Why is it always the short ones?" It was a surprise and hurt that all she could think of was what she perceived to be a negative physical trait. I had known her for two years. A few months later she married a guy she only new for 5 months. He is 6' tall. Somehow it just really hurt. Now, I constantly measure myself against other guys.
