He was my English teacher in ninth grade and I am now in twelfth. I began talking to him through email and stopping by his room before school or after school. I have been talking to him about personal issues, such as depression, anxiety, stuff like how my dad cheated on my mom for years etc. He has always been there for me and I am just very comfortable talking to him. I remember having a giant crush on him, which lasted for years, but then I realized it was not a crush. He is like a father to me and I was confusing my feelings. He has always been there to listen to me and give me advice. If I never had him as a teacher I most likely wouldn't be alive. I never had a good relationship with my parents, and having someone care about me like he does makes me feel great, like I'm actually wanted and not a waste of space. His advice has helped me get through some very tough times, like my friend committing suicide last year. I would have never gotten into counseling if it weren't for him. He got me to talk to the school counselor, which I then got a counselor out of school. That is something I knew I needed, but was afraid to ask my mom to make an appointment because of my social anxiety. He has always been very supportive of me and has really helped mold me into a different person. I'm not sure how I even got the courage to email him in the first place, but if I never did I wouldn't be close to him as I am now. He also talks to me as if I am a friend. I have been talking to him for years now and we have grown pretty close. I love this man as a father. How would you think he views me? Is this weird? |

I've missed out on watching a lot of good movies and reading amazing books because of sex scenes that might be featured. I've already done my own research when it comes to sex and frankly I'm not interested in doing it anytime soon. I see it as something natural that takes place consensually between two people who love eachother. I'm not going to fall in love in high school. I don't see sex as anything wrong. I don't know why she won't be honest about it. She claims it's because we're catholic, but this doesn't necessarily seem to be true. He knows I like him and I think he likes me too but not 100% sure. I know he's going to be busy a lot over the week and stuff. He says sweet things to me and we flirt sometimes but all we do is text. Then we saw my moms boyfriend and her arguing and yelling at Eachother (mostly her Bf) i Dont know why it was Infront of my building since her house is farther from my dads house but my mom and dad don't speak at all but so out of nowhere my dad goes waking fast towards him and try's to punch him, he did but then my moms Bf grabbed his arm and quickly he like I guess punched him or something on his neck and my dads head hit the ground and like I think his body fell on the ground too and my moms Bf ran away idk where and my mom stood there and I started crying and yelling no and idk what my brother did but my deads body and head was just laying there lifeless and that my mom tried to hug me and I pushed her away and said to leave me alone that I've told her a bunch of times to leave her Bf and that she never listened bc it's true, her and her bf argue all the time he hit her once but they both think I don't know about it. My parents feel that it would be best that I do not proceed with my pregnancy because they wouldn t be able to help support me at this time. I feel very stuck and I don t know what to do. I feel like I will never find another job and I feel very alone. I haven t had any time to grieve my fiancé s death. I have no where else to go or live. However My whole life I felt like my parents were never really there for me. My mom was be she forced activities on me and never really asked me what I wanted to do. My dad never did anything for me he would only punish me if I did something wrong even if it was minor. My mom even admitted to me that they were so focused on my older brother graduated college they forget about me. During this time when I was like a teenager I liked playing video games and watching T.V. Now its almost like habit. The TV was always their for me the TV was my friend in a way. Now it seems like I never really had a real relationship with them. I feel like I get judged for everything I do. I love love love my mom. My Dad is whatever to me. Hes my parent but never really was there. It just find it annoying that I never really had a real relationship. I have felt bad because I felt like my mom needed daughter in house because she was the only women. Now I have to break out of this somewhat lazy attitude because im really comfortable with it. I just want to be a productive member of this society. Sometimes I feel like it would of been better if I was a girl so that way it would of been new and different then having another boy. I said sure. (she asked me because they would have to sleep in my room while i would have to stay in the living room or my moms room) then a couple months later my god mother told me he was financially stable and the daughter has severe princess syndrome. They ended up getting married and my new step sis (kiki) has been hogging my mom saying my mom is her mom now and everything. Ever since then i feel like i dont have a mother anymore because kiki has been hogging my mom and and shes been doing girl things with her even when my mom is on her off days (no work). my mother lost her patience and shes lost her mind. Shes been saying how im inconsiderate but has she considered my feelings when she married the guy? and what about lying to me about their "money problems"? and what about spending time with me? What happened to all of that? I mean it doesn't really bother me anymore because im use to it but i still feel sad about it almost ever night. There hasn't been a day where i didnt think "i miss my mom" I feel like my mother has changed so much now, and i think i can understand why and how. Posted: 12 Apr 2015 12:27 PM PDT so, i'm 18 years old, and a guy. my friend made a friend online, and introduced me to her. we chatted for a while, and just around a week ago, her parents found out about our frequent talking (she's 14, by the way). they confronted me on twitter (where we had been talking) and asked me how we met, how old i was, etc. i did agree to stop talking to the friend, as i understand why they don't trust me as much as i'd prefer (i'm 4 years older than her), but we (me and the girl) never actually did anything even close to talking about meeting up or flirting, we just chatted. her parents implied that they thought we were dating (which we weren't). they told me exactly to "f*ck off," and then "never speak to my daughter again". they then restricted her internet use and started monitoring her email, texts, internet history, etc. i was wondering if they're being reasonable or just overprotective. |

He's been wanting a child but once he gets me pregnant he starts acting stupid. He has been starting petty fights, saying how do he know the kid is his, not coming home at night, and flipping the script on me like its just my hormones and I have no reason to be angry. After a few weeks of that foolishness I cut him off. He has been sending hurtful texts and popping up to my house knocking on my door and yelling outside my house. He has not been supportive at all. Just recently he told me to go to hell and didn't come. So my question is does he deserve to know I got an abortion after all this? I really wanted to keep my baby but I just can't fathom dealing with him for 18 years. I grew up in a broken home and I don't want to take a child through that. I swear I did not see this side if him until I told him I was pregnant which he planned the whole thing |

First thing I heard was that he sleeps around a lot and doesn't take into consideration the other persons feelings. Second I heard that he suggested to his friends that they rate girls that walk around based on their legs, face, breasts, etc. I've also heard that he has shut out some girls who didn't give him what he wanted. So as you can tell he's a complete jerk. A lot of people seem to not like him and he hangs around the kind of people I do, more or less. Based on what I've heard I'm assuming he's probably a druggie too/smokes weed like some of the people we hang out with. Now ME, they call me the innocent one because I have never done drugs, smoked, or drank and I haven't lost my viginity which honestly I'm proud of, but I caught him starring at me a couple times and I don't want him to just think he can treat me how he's treated previous people. If anything I want to try and be the one who influences him to be a better person, I just don't know how I would do that. Is there any hope for him? Can I influence him and how? |

No rude answers When i was in 7th grade (a while ago i know) there was this girl "Kendra" who out of no where started being really rude to me. She would call me names almost every day and harrass me. I just kind of ignored it until one day she beat me up in the hallway and no one was helping me. Everyone just sort of watched and it was really humiliating. As she was doing that, she was telling me that i was a failed abortion and literally no one cares about me. Later on that day, she got literally the whole school to hate me/against me and she started tons of awful rumors that went on for months. I was so threatened and scared to go to school during those months and i felt hopeless. She made everyone hate me and she continued to humiliate and horribly harrass me everyday. It was my first time being bullied to so i didnt know what to do. She said some really awful things. She made my whole year really bad too. -We are sophmores in hs now and i realise it was years ago but i guess it left alot of emotional scars. I found out She had family problems that year and i understand but for some reason im still having trouble forgiving her. Yes We kind of made up the next year but she never truly apologized. So can someone help? I dont want to hold a grudge anymore, and id like to move forward but how? Why exactly am i having trouble? |

I have been having an affair with a younger single woman I met at work for nearly six months. It is not the first affair I've had in 12 years of marriage. During our affair I knew my mistress had flings or one night stands other males, some her own age, others older. I was fine with that, as I did not feel like I had any right to be concerned about her life beyond our time together. Recently though she has been telling me more details about guys she hooks up with on girls' nights out, and it is beginning to bother me. Maybe I have become too attached to her, and while consciously I know we're not exclusive (How could we be? My wife is in the background), deep down I'm feeling a bit hurt and disappointed. It's really odd, I never expected to feel bad because my mistress "cheated" on me (technically of course, she's not doing that). But increasingly I do. I sense she is either looking to replace me with someone unattached (fair enough); or just exercising her freedom as a single woman (also fair enough). Either way it seems a new phase is developing here, where I feel uncomfortable with the affair in ways I did not before. So, what to do about all this? Should I take a step back from the affair, cool things for a while? Break it off completely and work on my marriage? Or just be philosophical about it and ignore my mistress's other liaisons? Her older brother apparently used to hit her, and she told me when he did one day, so I told him I threatened him, and told him I would put him in the hospital the next time. I recently started dating a woman at my company. We work in different depts. anyway, a recent date I kissed her, she smiled really big like teeth showing and just froze. My natural reaction was this can't be good. I smiled and laughed and said, are you ok? She said "I'm just nervous its new." SHES also told me she feels like I'm too good for her. Like she's not worthy...I said well let me be the judge of that and we can cross those bridges when we get there. Never have I had a woman thought she wasn't good enough for me. Broke my heart when she said that. As the week has progressed I asked her out again she said the week was complicated (she has a kid) so I was fine except she didn't have a day she was available. Her texting is very short, not flirty and yet here's the thing. She will send me pictures of her and her child, or her child's accomplishments. Which I would assume is someone wanting me to get a peek of what life would be like. Introducing me in slowly. But then the sparse non flirty communication throws me. I just find I'm often left hanging and today I decided to not text and see what happened. As of yesterday, no texts or anything. Am I right in assuming she's just not that into me? I am really happy that she found some one she likes. one time, he took my sister and I out to eat in his car. it smelled like he was trying to cover up the smell of cigarettes with cologne. I texted my sister and asked her if he smoked. she replied and said that he didn't. I let it rest and completely forgot about it for awhile. about 2 weeks later, my brother said that he was looking out of his window and had seen him standing across the street smoking. i thought it was weird that he brought it up, especially since I had never even told him anything. I had pieced together all of the evidence. his car smelled and my brother even saw him smoking. I thought about this for awhile. I told my mom the morning after I found out. she took me out to coffee later that night and told me everything was going to be alright. I brought it up in person about a week later to my sister when we were alone. she completely freaked out and stormed off and still denied that he smoked. I didn't mention that my brother had seen him smoking during that conversation. she and I are on good terms now and it still bothers me that she lied to me. i don't really care that he smokes, I just want an apology from her because she lied to me and I feel like I can't trust her anymore. how do I talk to her about this? how do I start the conversation off? any help is appreciated. |

She just got evicted from her home. She has stage (I think) stage 4 COPD. She is bipolar. She has been labeled clinically insane. She can't work because of the medical and mental problems. She rescues dogs(she has 20 of them right now) they are all dogs that would have been put down for behavioral problems. She can't find a place that will take both her AND the dogs. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO!!! I can't really help her from where I'm at (I'm across the country) And I myself am out of a job but I REALLY want to help her do you have any suggestions? |
