We have been talking to each other on the phone and texting, lots of chemistry and things in common. Then she stopped initiating contact but would always respond and flirt. Lots of laughs. After that, all of a sudden, she says she's even more busy, and then radio silence. Last week Monday, I text her to say what's up, she replies that she's busy but says she'll call me later in the week. When she said that, she knew my birthday was the next day, Tuesday. So I'm expecting her to not call on my birthday, but then she actually does. The call was brief. I tell her i would love to talk with her more, and she says to give her a call tomorrow Wednesday. I cal her on Wednesday, no answer. I call her on Thursday, no answer. I let it go until the following Monday and text her to say "hey and how are you, would love to hear from you", something like that. She then tells me that she's too busy and doesn't have time to start a relationship with anyone and not to take it personally. We had talked previously about me coming to visit her, she seemed excited but expressed doubts. I told her that i wasn't looking for a relationship, even though we previously discussed it, but to just meet up in person at this point. When i tell her the next time I'll be in her town (she lives near my parents), she says she has plans with friends but doesn't want to do them. Is she playing hard to get, or is she trying to let me down gently? |

I'd go out here and there and party and drink, but never exceeding a certain point as it never really appealed to me all that much. I met my now boyfriend a year and a half ago in college. He will be turning 21 this next year, and I am a year younger. When I first met him, I didn't think much of his drinking habits. Soon videos and stories resurfaced of his heavy drinking days back in high school and his freshman year of college. He pretty much went out and drank excessively every single night, prior to me meeting him. In the middle of no where PA, I guess that's all kids do for fun. Heavy drinking makes me extremely uncomfortable and it's quite unattractive. I've brought this up to him numerous times. All of his friends are alcoholics and it's in his DNA. He hasn't been as bad this school year around me.. but the second he goes to hang out with one of his friends or a party, he's posting videos all over his social media of him being stupid and drinking excessively. It makes me really anxious. This has nothing to do with trust issues, it's just his drinking habits that make me feel uneasy, and I'm not really sure what to do about it. I don't understand why people even drink in the first place. I'm not sure if there's something wrong with me or if I have the right to be somewhat upset. I'm not sure how to make our views on the subject see eye to eye. |

He offered his shorts to me, I put them on, got into bed and he straight away made our legs intertwine, he kisses me on the cheek I did same back, then peck on the lips, then again and then we just started fully making out and he had his hands on my back and lowering them and at one point his other hand was just resting in between my legs then we stopped and then started again. Then we eventually stopped, we were cuddling and then both moved away and I had my back to him then he rolled over and spooned me then at some point went back to intertwining legs, then asleep. In the morning I asked if he remembered last night in a general sense and he said 'yeah!why?' in a very sure tone and we literally have never spoken about that at all. | Posted: 25 Nov 2019 04:49 PM PST We just flirt, I really do not see it going anywhere, at least not now. So I am not taking it seriously and I thought she did not. For months she tried to get my attention to say hi first say my name, then she started to check me out and stare at me and lately we talked few times. But now whenever she is talking to a guy and I pass them by she would look at me to see if I am looking or laugh loud and look at me. I just do my thing and walk away. Why is she doing that? |

| Question: Am I actually intimidating, or just not that attractive? Posted: 25 Nov 2019 04:39 PM PST I've always thought of myself as moderately attractive, but aside from that, I'm actually a very confident person, which I've been told is very obvious from the way I hold myself/engage with others/speak. I've also been told that my features are quite pretty, but rather high/regal/cold, and that together, I often intimidate guys. Is that true? Or are my friends just trying to be nice? Tbh, I feel like if they're just trying to be nice, they'd go with the classic, "you just haven't met the right one!" but I just don't get that one. It's always, "honestly, you can be pretty intimidating". |

| Question: What is a good way to tell a guy you don't want to hang out? Posted: 25 Nov 2019 04:33 PM PST It seems like nowadays guys use the term "hang out" when they're trying to court a girl because they're less likely to get rejected. However I don't want to get into the whole dating scene at this point in my life. ....I never really met anyone I liked that way and don't want to lead someone on if I'm not interested. In general if a guy asks to hang out, is it safe to assume he wants a date? |
