I got a call from my step mother's sister asking for help getting her email. She was a very nice person and I had installed her computer 2 years ago. I readily agreed to help her. I went to her house and found out that her computer had a virus. I loaded an anti virus program on her computer and got rid of the virus. She was VERY happy to get to read her emails again. She wanted to pay me for fixing her computer but I told her I don't charge friendsfor my help. She said "I REALLY want to pay you for what you did for me". "What can I do for you that you will really enjoy". Every guy reading this knows what thought went through my head when a world class beautiful woman ask you that". However I didn't have the balls to say my thoughts? Guys, should I have? I just told her lets have dinner some time. She said "I don't do sex on the first date". We both had a laugh at that. Then she said "However the second date is a different story". Can I do something that kinky with my step mom's sister?

So my family is very religious. Especially my mother. My sister, who is 27, moved in with her boyfriend last year, and since then, my mom wants to completely cut her off from our family. I understand my moms feelings, and I know she is just worried for my sister and thinks it goes against our faith, and I understand my sister who is a bit more liberal and doesn't see it as going against God. I side more with my sister on the matter, but I have not told my mom that cause I am scared she will cut me off, too. I really just want our family to get along, but my mom is super stuck in her ways, and my sister is not going to break up with her boyfriend, so what should I do? We used to all be super close, and now my mom goes on a half hour rant if I even bring up my sisters name. I want to mend things at least a bit with the holidays coming. Any advice?

I have a narcissistic younger sister named Julie and another sis in the middle who is not narcissistic but a bit of a drama queen. Her name is Devon. I'm the eldest. Julie and I have never gotten along well and neither has Julie or Devon until the last year or so and they started talking. I do not mind them talking but I don't want to know what is going on in Julie's life or when she calls and what they discuss. I have told Devon to not let me know but she keeps telling me. I have tried to ignore it but my feelings get hurt when she says Julie calls her and wishes her happy birthday and does not call me. What can I say to my sister to let her know to stop  bringing Julie up?

My mom came home angry yesterday since our vet scolded her for our cat having fleas even though I told her many times that he has lectured me about it and that we need to fumigate the house, but instead she dismisses me and continues scrolling on her phone. She started yelling and ordering me around and telling me how I don't clean or help around the house. What she doesn't understand is that no matter how many times I help her she never says thank you or just complains that it's not clean enough and lately I've been telling her that if she doesn't like it, then she can do it herself because at least I'm doing it, but then she answers back,"that's the least you can do since you don't do anything in the house" and that has really taken my motivation away and made me feel worthless. I don't tend to argue back lately because in part I haven't been cleaning the house at all since I'm currently studying during the night and I tend to come home at around 11pm.The only days I have off are the weekends and given that I'm a PT nursing student, I'm being bombarded every weekend with home work and reviews for exams for the following week. This has been an on and off thing my entire life and I honestly believe that it has contributed to my depression.

As a kid I always hated my real first name. I asked my mom when I was 12 why she named me that and she admitted she didn't have a girl's name picked out so when the hospital staff told her she had to pick a name, she literally named me after a bottle of lotion that was on the bedside table. As a kid it never occurred to me that I could just go by my middle name instead so now I'm an adult, married with kids, and I don't work. I told my mother-in-law I wanted to start going by my middle name and she was very supportive. My husband is as well though he keeps accidently referring to me by my first name. Is there any way to make it easier for people to remember to call me by my middle name. I will introduce myself by it from now on, but I rarely meet new people. Should I just wear a nametag at home and at family and friends places till people remember? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. 

My brother and his family had come to my place for a couple of days. My nephew had come along and they brought their ipad.He was using it a lot and glued to it.We all know that he loves these gadgets and cant live without them.His parents don't like it either but they didn't bother snatching it from him on this occasion.So i had to step in.So i snatched it from him and hid in an innaccesible location. Then he retorted by telling me that i have no right to touch his property or discipline him or restrict him.He just told me to mind my own business and stay in my limits.He said i have no right to touch his property and prevent him from using it.He says that I'm not his parent and he isn't financially dependent on me so he doesn't have to fulfill my expectations and i mustvs poke my nose where it doesn't belong especially when his parents chose to let him use it on this occasion.

My relatives had come to my place.Their son always uses my ipad and sticks to it.He never lets me or my sister use it. So i had enough and hid it somewhere innaccesible to him.Then he kept asking me for it and i kept saying that i dont know where it is.Then he kept nagging me for it.At one point i was like fine i hid it.If you want it so bad go and ask your dad to buy you one after you can use it all you want and no one will stop you. His parents were around and they heard me say that.It looked like they were offended by my statement. My mom intervened told me that i shoudnt have said that and i return the ipad to him immediately.Then i had no choice but to do so.

I took my ipad to my relatives place. My uncles son uses it all the time and fights with me and my sister for it and we get to use it very less.But he only snatches it from me and not his son. One day he snatched it and locked it up in his wardrobe.I don't he has the power and the right to do that.Its not his property.

My brother and I jointly own a two family duplex, we both live on different floors. We haven't spoken, except to discuss the house, in six years, the reasons are irrevelant in regard to my problem. He told me a few months ago he wanted his share of the house, so I said fine, we'll sell it. The problem is he is doing nothing to help me clean out the basement (it's mostly his stuff) or make his part of the house presentable to have potential buyers look at it and offer a good price. I can't do it myself because of a disability in my arm, many of his items are heavy and I don't know what he wants to discard or keep. I feel like I'm trapped and don't know what to do? Any advice? Thx.

My sister is 26 but immature and narcissistic. I am 38 and mature but when sensitive to someone cruel like my sister can get angry. At the holidays I want to go say hi to my cousins who will be staying at my grandparents house. My sister will make a huge scene and try to keep me away. I don't want to escalate the fight but really want to see the cousins. This sister is cruel to me and no one likes her in the family. These cousins don't know how bad she has gotten. Our parents don't even like being around her cause she is 26 and acting like a school yard bully. So my questions is what do I do in this scenerio so not to escalate things but to still get to see the cousins? I don't want to argue with her in public cause then we both look like fools. I am an adult, she is supposed to be but has the maturity of someone at age six. It's my grandparents' house (my mother lives there also) and not my sister's house (apartment). 

I also am obsessive and not like the average person in conversations. aspergers and autism ran in my mother's family but I never knew them very well cause she did not speak to her Dad. Her mother I knew well but she had no family besides one sister who was a nun and parents who died before I was born. 

I have never really liked the texture of my hair, or having to fuss with it to get it to do what I want it to. I cut it short, though it still touches my neck. My dad hates even this length, and puts me down, saying I look much better with it long. I haven't had hair that length since I was barely 15 (I am now 19) and I look a lot different, so I think it's more the Concept of me having long hair that he likes. I wear skirts almost all the time, and have been getting more into makeup now that various skin conditions of mine have been medicated. I want to shave my head but keep my bangs, kind of like the girl from degrassi. It's a unique hairstyle, but I think it would look great with how I look already. I don't care what my family thinks, but their constant negativity really gets me down. I don't like conflict, or people acting like they're angry at me over dinner or while we watch a movie. How can I deal with their negativity, or how can I make them relax?

Ok so I have 2 moms 1 that gave birth to me and 1 that is trans and became my 2nd mom and if my 2nd mom's side of the family does not want anything to do with her after she comes out to them I want to change my last name to my birth mom's original last name but if part of the family like my 2nd mom's parents accept her but other people don't I want to change my last name to my birth mom's original last name but make my current last name aka the last name of my 2nd mom's family a 2nd middle name can that be done or would I have to choose between my 2nd mom's last name or my birth mom's original last name

I can not take it anymore ? my mother and my father i try to love them and i love nothing more my mother screams her tell me so much i get depressed once she hit my face and i was going into the room then i put the pillow back on the couch later she said to my father that I hit her but I never did it I felt so sad once I accidentally spilled some juice on the floor and went to clean it took just a little bit on the carpet she already told me to wash it even though it wasn't so wet she took the rug and hit me with it she manipulates my dad (sorry for not using punctuation)

So my stepson is a senior in high school and I am at my wit's end with this kid! His real mom died when he was little. I have been married to his dad since he was 6. He HATES me because I have high expectations for him unlike his dad and the rest of his family. He will not talk to me and gets mad at me for everything from just walking into the same room as him or when I ask him to do something, or redo something he did incorrectly. He also has no friends. I've tried making him go to counseling with me, but he refused to listen to the counselor when the counselor said he had to spend time with me. He has also told me he's hated me on multiple occasions. He is off to college next year and I can hardly wait!! I love his father dearly, but hate that he lets his son get by with treating me so horribly! My husband says that because he gets good grades, has had same job for 2 years etc, that it isn't a "big deal" that he doesn't unload the dishwasher correctly or speak first when he walks into a room or when I walk into a room. This is the ONLY thing my husband and I ever fight over but again, I am at my wit's end with this kid and I still have to live with him for another year! Help!

I was very bloated and was staying with my mom. There was only one bathroom and I really had to go. My mom was doing makeup and I said I had to use the toilet. She actually left so I could go. I ran to to the toilet and just let it all out. I was sick and it was literally a 10 minute fart. I've heard many people in public stalls fart the whole time I still would never do that in a public bathroom- but I was home and only my mom could hear me. But was this gross or rude?

I have 3 biological children and one adopted child. I recently spotted my adopted daughter (13) and my son (15) holding hands and kissing on the back porch. I'm assuming that they are dating or sexually involved with each other. Would it be wrong to let them date since they're not related?

I let my kid go to sleepover, I told the parent that my family is VEGAN so no animal product and I packed my son his own breakfast/lunch/Dinner for the weekend. When I pick him up in the morning I see that they have pizza boxes in their trash when I pull up. I did ask them if my kid had pizza, they said no he didn't. I didn't believe them whatsoever I got my son in the car and asked his and yelled at him to tell the truth. He started crying and said he ate Non-vegan all weekend. I was Livid. I sent the voice messages tell them off and saying I was pressing charges. My son's father said I was being irrational. I am not. They harmed him. My Fiance says I should rethink the criminal aspect of it, and if it did go through they could those their kid I DO NOT CARE. THEY COULD HAVE KILLED MY BABY. Am I being irrational?? This happened a month ago and I'm thinking of driving down to the police station next week.

Growing up with Serbian immigrants, I had a bad childhood. As a result. I see all Slavs the same way.  There's this actress I like, but once I found out she was Czech, I was shook. In the back of my mind, I can hear myself blaming her for all my childhood problems. I look away whenever I see pictures of her What can I do so that I like her again?

So I'm looking for advice on how I can help my older brother. He's 30 years old and has such severe social anxiety that he hasn't left his home in several years. Our biological dad was basically the same way. I'm scared that my brother will end up like him. Alone. Our biological dad died alone in his home, where no one found him until several days after. My brother lives on his own in a house that our grandpa owns. He lives in absolute filth, but he can't bring himself to leave at all, and has no way to improve his living situation. He's tried coming out with us or just going for a drive around the neighborhood, but he always ends up having a severe panic attack and having to go back. He desperately needs dental work, but has no way to get it. No income of any kind and no insurance. His dental health is horrible. It has been for a long time. But now, his face and neck are so swollen that it's scary. I want to help him. Me, our mom, and our grandpa have tried helping him over the years to no avail. My grandpa is too old to help him anymore, my mom is struggling to get around because of knee problems, and I honestly just don't know what to do to help. We've tried helping him get disability and counseling, but he always gets denied disability, and the counseling never seems to last. He's tried a few medications, but without insurance, it's difficult to maintain. Any advice would be appreciated. 

I was OK with myself to be slightly chubby but my mom she wants me to be thin. She said being chubby is no way a girl should look and that woman Mean beauty.
