Posted: 11 Nov 2019 09:21 PM PST we've been together for 6 years so I feel like I can be honest with him. He asked me to listen to his songs all the time and I used to lie and say they were good but i just can't lie anymore. He is not talented and I feel like he needs to pursue another field. I love him but this might not be his best fit. |
Question: Should I stay or go? Posted: 11 Nov 2019 08:43 PM PST We are engaged. We bought a house together. We set our life on track, and are very much in love. He is kind, appreciative, attentive, supportive, loving and just the greatest partner I've ever known. He has fought through my mental illness with me and has been good to me. However, I recently learned several lies told throughout our relationship, and I'm stunned. Lying is my deal breaker, but I've never been treated as good as he treats me. So I'm caught here, I don't want to leave but my deal breaker was broke. He's lied about porn addiction and a gambling addiction and well as a few stories about his past. Coincidentally I learned them all at the same time. He has taken full responsibility of these issues and has already made a counseling appointment for tomorrow. Would I be nuts for sticking by him? Would most people leave? Ps. I have a history of relationships where I was constantly lied to, he knew that. I feel betrayed. Although I know these lies weren't about me, I still feel like I wasn't worth the truth. But I still Love him with all of my heart. I can deal with any addiction just not future lies. |
Question: My child's father makes me uncomfortable? Posted: 11 Nov 2019 08:11 PM PST My daughter's dad was MIA for nearly ten years of her life. We were together when she was conceived but he just had to go be a hoe in the street and left me "holding the bag". After I had her we were on bad terms cuz of the hoe bag he left me for. After he left her, we were on good terms again after almost a year. He said he still loved me and we started dating, slowly, again. He was in the street being a hoe yet again so I cut him out of my life but not my child's life. Ten years passed and he and his wife come blowing in, I still have unresolved issues with him but I really just don't want to have anything to do with him. I still have to communicate with him because of our child but he says sexual things to me and has said some of these same things IN FRONT OF HIS WIFE. I don't like how he believes he can breeze in and destroy my life again but I'm stuck, for now, between him and my child and I dunno what to do. I know I can't cut him out of our lives cuz she'll hate and vice versa. What do I do? |

Question: What the hell is wrong with Kellyannes husband George Conway ? Posted: 11 Nov 2019 07:16 PM PST Kellyanne serves at the pleasure of the president and is a counselor to Trump. She holds a prestigious job within Trumps administration.. I get it, George does not like Trump and we are all aware of it. He continues to tweet very negative things about Trump despite the precarious situation he places his wife in. What kind of husband would act so disrespectfully towards his own wife and put her career in jeopardy? If he were a decent husband he would shut his mouth and support his wife and her career. Is he that desperate to make a name for himself? He is not that important and I do not see why he continues with his immature tweets that usually come out once every two weeks. Can someone explain what the hell he is doing and why he would do that to his wife? |
Question: What’s with all these teenagers starting a family at 18 or 19? Posted: 11 Nov 2019 06:52 PM PST They need to focus on their education. It's hard to do your best work in college when you have a family and kids. Education comes first. |
Question: What’s your intake on this situation? Am I just insecure? Posted: 11 Nov 2019 06:40 PM PST I've been married to my husband for almost 6 months. I moved into his house that he shared with his ex wife for 7 years because we can't really afford a new one right now. Anyway, he has a mattress that is super comfortable and it doesn't make me feel weird until I start thinking about him and her sharing it. I don't want us to have to sell it because it sleeps really good. We've changed sheets on it so it makes it feel like ours. We also have the same couches and recliner that they had. I'm not sure if I should sell them or not because like I said, it's expensive to do all of that. I mean, should a couch or bed be replaced if the ex is gone? I have put my touch on the house, and am going to paint soon. He did tell me that she was hardly ever home while they were together so that made me feel a little better, but I feel like they picked the furniture out together. He tells me a couch is a couch and it has no sentimental value on it whatsoever. Same with bed. How can I make this house feel like mine with the furniture still here? Any advice? I'm okay with it being here, but it bothers me sometimes. Am I just being insecure? |
Posted: 11 Nov 2019 06:12 PM PST I feel like he sneakily tried to get out of taking her to the grocery store and put it on me. My girlfriend doesn't know how to drive. She's 29. I've been trying to teach her and she's getting a little better as far as learning her turn signals and the gas and break, but she has no clue about directions. She doesn't even know how to get back home. She couldn't tell me how to get to her house or back. That's how horrible she is at directions. She wants to drive but I don't know how she is going to drive or even take a taxi if she can't tell people any directions on how to get home. Anyways, I don't mind taking her where she has to go whenever I'm off but my grandmother is half blind so I also have to help drive her around most places also. I take my girlfriend to work and I take her to the mall every friday to get clothes, shoes, whatever she needs. Her dad takes her to the grocery store every saturday. This arrangement has been working for us for years. I normally have to take her about 5-6 different stores/places friday. But a couple of days ago, she told me her wanted me to take her to the grocery store. I did it, but in my head I'm thinking " Hold up now, I already took her to all of these stores in the mall. I thought he was going to take her to the store." I told her that her dad has to try to help her AND me because it's already a lot on me. Her parents didn't even try to push her to learn how to drive when she was younger. They didn't start pushing her until now. although I am trying to teach my girlfriend how to drive I won't be upset if she ends up not being able to drive herself. She might have an ADHD issue. I would rather drive her where she needs to go then putting her on the road when she's still having problems and having her kill herself or someone else. It only takes one time for someone to die under the wheel. It really requires serious concentration, it's not a play toy. It's serious |

Question: What did he mean by this? Posted: 11 Nov 2019 04:56 PM PST After dinner on second date, I asked my date if we are exclusive. He said he needs more time but also asked, "what will you do after we are official?" Does he mean if I will have sex with him? He has asked me twice about my thoughts on marriage though. |

Question: Should I tell my husband I slept with his brother in the past? Posted: 11 Nov 2019 01:55 PM PST My husband and I have been married for 20 years and have 4 awesome boys. We have dated since high school when he moved here with his mom from New Zealand when she married his step-dad. We had a instant connection. However, I dated his step brother before we met. He knows this. It kind of bothered him when we first hooked up in high school but after a while it just became a memory that we never talked about. We were looking through random pics of ourselves in high school as his step-dad just passed away and his mom is planning to move back to auckland to live with her sister and she gave him a box of his stuff from then. As we were looking at the pics we talked about how it was a kind of a culture shock to move to Texas from New Zealand. Then we started talking about how me and his step-brother (which he considers a brother now) dated. I asked him if it ever bothered him and he said, "No, we were in high school and you guys were only together a year. It would have been different if you two slept together though." The problem is I thought he was aware that I in fact slept with him once. I did not correct him. I just stopped the conversation. I need to tell him? Don't I? I don't get it? I am a troll because I did it? Sorry. It was a long time ago. By the way I do feel pathetic. I should have told him. |

Question: I’m engaged and feel guilty about not telling my future husband about my sexual Past ? Posted: 11 Nov 2019 01:24 PM PST So, my soon to be husband ( we are getting married next fall) has only had sex with 3 girls in his entire existence and for me, most days I find myself feeling Like he deserves better. When we were discussing our past I kinda dreaded him asking me about it but when he finally did I just said "I'm a little more seasoned than you"... by a little I meant a lot. But I obviously didn't say that. High school were very wild years for me, I partied a lot, had many threesomes involving two-three men and was that girl letting dudes blow lines of coke off my @ss, I have a very extended sexual past. Definitely almost triple digits. He has no idea about any of this and if he ever knew I think he would quite literally faint. It eats at me everyday though. Although I consider myself a rather good reliable woman now, I feel guilty for holding back my past. |
Question: How do I get my husband's friend to stop being creepy? Posted: 11 Nov 2019 12:57 PM PST They have been friends forever but I don't like how he stares at me including my chest. He also makes little comments all the time. He has asked whey I'm not wearing "the black heels" and says "I told [my husbands name] he should buy you a fe more skirts" ...all sorts of stuff like that. He touches my hair sometimes. My husband is usually jealous and would freak out but for "Eddie" he won't say anything and doesn't get mad. I have told him he's creeping and he says "thats just Eddie" and brushes it off. Eddie always finds a reason to talk to me whenever he's around. Am I being silly or should I say something to him? |
Posted: 11 Nov 2019 12:41 PM PST Hello, I have been married for 6years and I have a two years old daughter. I am from a foreign country living in the states. My husband has been very critical and I've been fed up with him. He is a perfectionist, Id say he thinks he is, and complains about everything and finds faults with every little thing I do. Sometimes he is in my dream and complains! I'm so stressed out. I told him that he's stressing me out then he started to raise the voice at me and said what do you mean I stressing you out! He really doesn't know how stressful it is to be away from the family and friends living a foreign country and at home I can't really feel like home, relaxed or happy. Like yesterday, there's a party and I dressed up, all he said to me was Too much make up, you have no butt, you spray perfume too much. When I gain weight he says I need to lose weight and when I lose weight tells me to gain weight. When I look for a job, tells me to get an office job, no cashier, no waitress. When my kid gets sick, it's all my fault. He makes me feel like i'm a bad wife and a mother no matter how much I do or try. Do you think is there any solutions for him to stop being this way or just leave. I want to leave but am worried that he'll take my daughter's custody. If I'm getting divorced am not staying in the states and wants to leave with my daughter. |

Question: Muslims please help me. I don't know what to do in this situation.? Posted: 11 Nov 2019 09:39 AM PST I'm 24 and I was forced to marry a man my parents chose for me 7 months ago. I did not love him and I did not want to be with him but I had no choice. After the marriage, I expected him to be abusive and controlling and I was also planning to leave and run away. But he wasn't abusive. He's very nice to me and he does a lot for me. But I still don't love him and I do not want to carry his children, but I do care for him. I'm torn because I want to leave and live my life, but I feel bad for him and I do feel horrible about the shame I might cause my parents. If I leave, I'll never be able to see my parents again. Fear has been holding me back from doing anything and I often get very depressed to the point of wanting to end it all. What should I do? I don't think I can talk to my husband about it because he will disagree with a divorce. I'm scared. |

Question: Who gets what if you’re not married? Posted: 11 Nov 2019 08:19 AM PST if you have a baby with somebody and they want to take something from you but you have something under your name and somebody else's name can they still take it away from you? Kind of like a legal battle. |
Question: Should I do what my former inlaws want me to do? Posted: 11 Nov 2019 07:58 AM PST I got a call from my ex wife's mom and dad inviting me for dinner. I gladly accepted as her mom was a great cook and they were both my friends as is my exwife. Lots of people tell me they never heard if a man being friends with his ex wife but I am. They told me Jill was getting married again and wanted to know if I new anything about her future groom Joe. I didn't so they asked me to check up on him and let them know anything bad about him. They offered me a lot of money to check him out. I told then I probably was not the person to check him out as no one, especially Jill, would think I could be impartial. They told me they had complete confidence in me to find out if there was information about Joe my ex needed to know. Should I do what they asked me to do? On the one hand, it is none of my business who Jill married and if she found out I was checking up on her groom to be, I would probably loose her as a friend. On the other hand there might be something in Joe's background she and her parents should know. For the record, I wish her and any future husband a long and happy marriage. Gals (and guys too) please give me some advice. THANKS |
Question: Do you like being timed when you leave the house? Posted: 11 Nov 2019 03:51 AM PST My wife has this thing to where she has to know your every move the minute you leave her eyesight. For years I have told her to stop timing me when I leave the house. If I say I'm going to get gas she'll assume I'm going to the gas station right behind our house. I may want to go to a station I like down the street or even one I say that has the cheapest gas across town. Last night my wife and I had been watching TV for a few hours then I decided I needed to go get something from my daughter's apartment. First of all my wife thought it was strange that I "all of a sudden" needed to go get something from my daughter's place. When I left I noticed I needed gas so I stopped. My phone was on silent so I didn't notice it had rung and there were several text messages from my wife. She hit me up asking where I was. We had an argument about it because I've told her multiple times I'm not a child. I'm 50 and if I want to stop by the store or just go the long way around that shouldn't be a problem. Yes, she's done this multiple times. She even has a tracker on her 23 and 25 year old son's phones to find out exactly where they are. This morning she brought it up again and then made the assumption I don't like being "tracked" because I'm probably going down to the gas station to talk to someone. Sat, my wife left the house several times and she seemed to get upset that I didn't call her to check on her. We went to a baby shower for our niece at a restaurant and her oldest son had an episode that day so they were watching him at the hospital. My wife decided to leave with her mom to go by the hospital so me and our granddaughter came on home. Not once did I call to check up on her. I know she was coming home so I'd talk to her then. She got upset. Was I wrong? |
Question: 34 year old Boyfriend is horrible with saving money? Posted: 10 Nov 2019 11:03 PM PST We have been together for 4 years, living together 1 year. He used to live in LA, but moved down to SD to be with me. When we were dating I would go back and forth every other weekend from SD to LA(he doesn't have a car). Now that we are living together , it has been a struggle financially for us. Let's do some math: He gets paid $850 every 2 weeks working full time.I get paid $600 every two weeks working part time, but also have another part time job getting paid $875 a month. All he has to do is pay rent on time and for his bus pass. I pay for 2 credit cards, a loan, a car payment, car insurance, a gym membership and my half of the rent. Why do I always have money more than him? Why does he struggle to pay his part of the rent ? Paying only $500/$450 sometimes. When we each have to pay $600. I end up paying the difference he couldn't pay. It's so irritating, considering I need gas & groceries and paying an extra $100/$150, sets my budget back. This past month, we went on a trip to Vancouver , Washington. We came back I got paid my $875 and he was struggling to gather rent. I told him " I'll pay your half of the rent if you pay for my bills this month" sounds fair right ?Nope. Paid for two of my bills totaling in $200, have $300 left over after that and he is now left with $20 of that $300... I'm confused, how? I'm way younger than him and his financial irresponsiblities are stressing me out. I'm starting to think I'd be better off living alone. What do you think? |
