Before you ask, "do you get out much?" the heart chooses for itself who it becomes attached to. Can't explain it, I just liked the girl so, I bought her the most beautiful bouquet of flowers, she loved them and like it was guaranteed that i had won her attention. I left that job later to be dedicate fully to my own business I have. She never wrote me, or called. I went back to ask her out — she was too nervous to talk to me, thru friends (the vine) she wants to date me but, she's getting over her ex from another country, her parents are unsure bc I'm American (she's Guatemalan, I'm Puerto Rican)... I guess with everything she's hesitant. A few weeks later I try to add her on fb and get the "deny". We haven't spoken since October. I'm asking you, I would like to send her flowers again in December, as a Christmas gift — do you think this would be a good idea? I mean I've been patient, giving her the time she needs. We are connected to each other on Twitter and often praise our boss , My boss would often like my tweets in which I appreciated him & expressed my love (using hearts,flowers & love emoticons) . Seeing that Boss liked my love tweets some girls & boys are jealous. This girl became jealous because I received 2 promotions , another project with the Boss ,I felt she's angry when I appreciated Boss. Now suddenly there were 3 deaths in my family & I went offline. Everyone in the office was kind to me & didn't ask me to work except this woman who acted nasty. After I resumed my work for the boss she got angry & said Please don't send repetitive messages in the official whatsapp group ,Infact she's the one who sends that and I was amazed just for 1 message she was fuming. Then she orders me not to congratulate the boss for his new venture and I'm too late for that . I felt that was very humiliating since I was mourning the deaths in my family. Why did she do that ? However, for Thanksgiving we went to our respective homes. It has been four days apart and we have hardly communicated (infrequent snaps, insta memes). Is this odd? Neither of us are especially busy, he has been playing games all day. Does this mean that he only wants to spend time with me when in person (more of a physical relationship)? Should I make the first move and be more assertive in communicating with him? We just did our first I-love-you's and this is making me rather anxious. I was in so much shock that I was willing to accept what she did. She still choose to do what she did before she left and I didn't check her. I put her on a pedestal and was willing to move forward. Love is so blind. But I feel like I lost my self respect and any that she had for me must be lost. I'm not here for the OMG your stupid and move on comments. I don't know what I was thinking but basically if anyone could offer advice on how I can change that perception that she has of me as weak. I know have to work on myself but I do have to see her as we work and participate in the same recreational sports together. So idk I just want to improve that. |

We decided to have a "Friendsgiving" thing with a few of our hometown friends this year since everyone was in town. Two guys on his swim team (one from across the country and one from a different country) came with him to our town bc they could go and see their own families. One of the guys sat across from me at the restaurant and it was probably one of the best conversations I've had with someone I just met. He was really funny and he would laugh at pretty much anything I said and we kept making eye contact even when other people were talking. Afterwards, we go to our friend's house and I wanted to play on their pool table and the guy immediately picked up a pool stick and we played against each other. Another one of my friends said home and that guy had a few "moments" and a few hours later (around 1 am) we left to go home and my friend who is on the swim team said "I figured" when I told him I thought that guy was really cute. How should I approach this if I wanna shoot my shot or at least just get his number/snap? |

Lately I have been disappointed that he does not seem to spare even 5 minutes to talk with me when we arrive home. His mother cooks his dinner (another issue - we live in her house. He wants to save to start a business but I feel suffocated and want to move out and be independent) but by the time I cook mine, he leaves to work on the garden or business. I brought this up. He said he is busy and admitted he doesn't want to spare 5 minutes as 1) he's noticed I've been irritable lately, 2) he is frustrated at how inefficient I am and 3) there are things I talk about like returning to university to gain another degree that he does not support me doing because he thinks uni is not for me as he doesn't think I'll get straight As like him. He said spending 5 mins means he is likely to want to bring up these frustrations so avoids it. I was very upset. I said I feel used if we still have sex even though he doesn't want to spare 5 minutes to talk. He said sex is the glue that holds the relationship together. I feel hurt and don't want to be intimate without quality time. We argued til 3am and I got 3 hours sleep. He wants to meet after work to go shopping. After 3 hours sleep I suggested against it as I don't feel well, but he is insisting as he is busy for the rest of the weekend. Advice? I feel so drained. |

Yesterday I was upset and crying and he called me making sure I was okay and tried to make me feel better. He did, but then he started talking about the gym and said "do you wanna know what doesn't make u fat?" I said no and he said "exercise" I'm not 100% if it was directed towards me or himself or in general but I feel like it was towards me. That really made me feel like complete **** and later on a guy I used to work with asked me to hangout I said yes.. thinking it would just be a casual hangout so that I might feel better But we ended up making out and he fingered me, although he never asked me if he could or if I liked it And he just went ahead and did it. I only have my mother, sister, a best friend (who's currently abroad) and a friend with whom I go out with. Every girl I dated so far, ended up not liking me because of my fu*king stupid behaviour, and my sensitivity and low self-esteem. Yesterday, this girl who I texted with for 7-8 months (cause she's abroad), friendzoned me. We never really met in person, but it was kinda different, we were very close, texting every day, whole day. But I ended up screwing this up as well, cause of my behaviour of course. I'm so stupid and I can't keep someone who cares for me or likes me. I'm not aware of how words can hurt people and say everything that passes through my mind, then I feel sorry for that, but you can't say sorry 100 times without changing, and this girl was really tolernat towards me, but I just ended up disappointing her.... In 2 or 3 months I'm also going abroad to work there, away from my country... and I will probably stay there and only come twice a year.. It's too late for me, cause it's very hard to find love, and I need somebody..... People in my country don't really rely on dating apps, girls will only date you if they know you from before.. I have many hobbies, but currently I'm broken and don't feel like doing anything. I moved away not too far about 1-2 years ago & we still kept contact. We've been texting everyday for about 4 months now. & even though I haven't seen her in a while I still love her & care about her. We've been flirting & texting & it doesn't get boring. She's been giving me some signs that she loves me as more than a friend, but she confuses me a lot. Either that or I just don't know how to take a hint. I was like,how can she observe me with such attention? I never talked to her. I hardly had classes with her ( just english) and when they asked her who he was and made compliments and said 'it's k. of course why did you do that?' She blushed and said 'no it's not him but my cousin'. I don't think she has cousin who looks exactly like me. And why should she draw her cousin? Anyway, what does this mean? Her embarrassment after the question of the others? A friend told me she is usually really attentive during classes and that she was in a sort of trance while she drew, completely unaware of the surroundings and the teachers called her three times before she realized it and was caught off guard. I'm not sure if she has a crush because people say she is a really weird person (introverted, studies and learns a lot without effort, and even draws, has no roch parents and often helps with weekend jobs her family) so this might just be her art inclination sort of thing. I remember her poems of english class being the best, like, there were people trying to stand out with efforts and contrived verses while she wrote short and essential verses that pictured a love, a situation and a face and it all gave me nostalgia vibes. That's why I feel weird the idea of a crush. She is just a lot... gifted. |

Old friends moved away and other good friends turned to drugs (6 passed away in 7 years). I have to rely on younger siblings to go out to bars on weekends to try and meet girls. When i go out with them, i just feel like im no where near attractive enough for any female. My brother is a good looking guy and im so happy for him. Girls are always pointing him out to one another and he gets girls' attention & they smile at him everywhere. As for me, girls dont look at me, they dont show any interest, im basically invisible to females. Not to mention they are too shallow snd unnapproachable. I have good height and in good physical condition, ive always been a decent conversationalist....but i dont think my facial features help. I dont like my smile at all (although my teeth are straight), i hate my extremely thick hair, unnattractive looking eyes, i can go on and on. I cant do online dating cause i look even worse in pictures than I do in real life. I have all the dating apps in existance, and average 1 reply a week.... waste of time. The only good thing is that my family and I are moving down south to save money. Hopefully i have a better chance at getting girls. What do you think? |

We are with each other as much as we can be and really treasure our relationship. Our bond and relationship is pretty strong. We are (of course) friends on facebook and have a good amount of mutual friends. I see that he "hearts" other girls statuses and pictures and it honestly makes me feel crappy. Especially since he never likes or hearts mine. It sounds so petty and stupid, but it does make me feel lame. Our relationship is good and we communicate, we don't base our relationship off of social media at all but rather keep it private. Should I be bothered that he hearts other gurls pictures/statuses? AND I have spoken up about it to him and he has stressed tremendously that it means absolutely nothing and how he loved me and only me tremendously. That the "hearts" mean nothing and that I shouldn't look deep into it because it is nothing. He has stressed how I shouldn't worry about it and how he is all for me. Which I get. So should I be bothered about it? |

Ok so every time I say I'm gonna go visit her , my mother starts screaming and demanding that she visit us first , meaning her. I don't understand why she's like this , she keeps saying things to me like I'm 15 , like oh you don't know the area you'll get mugged or stranded or whatever despite the many times iv told her she lives in a really nice area. Only reason I haven't gone yet is she has threatened to contact my girl. It's my life , I'm a grown man but her behaviour baffles me and it's really making me hate her. I live with her for the time being and have my own job so why won't she just leave me alone? This has nothing to do with her whatsoever , of course she will meet her someday but idk why she's forcing it. My girl lives 2 states away if that matters , I could get to her in a matter of hours. He plans the date pays and we always end up kissing (and sometimes even more) but sex hasn't happened yet because I want to be more sure of where this is going Our last two dates he agreed to wanting something serious. I've been telling him I want that Since a while. But the next time we were meant to meet he said he doesn't think it's a good idea. I asked him why and he said 'I don't know'. He does know I'm ready to sleep with him now somehow we managed to agree that we would meet.
