Question: How to stop the separation from turning into a divorce? Posted: 16 Nov 2019 08:51 PM PST I've been with my wife for three years and married nine months (seven of them seperated). Two months after we got married, my wife told me she wanted a divorce, that she made a mistake. I thought she was just stressed because we both lost our jobs within a month of getting married, and we moved back in with my parents. Two weeks after telling me she wanted to end our marriage, she got a full-time job. After her first paycheck, while I and my parents were out of the house, took her clothes, makeup and television and moved out. She went and rented a furnished room in someone's house. I begged her to come back. But she said that she needed space. I reluctantly agreed. After a month, my parents hired a PI to see if she was cheating, and after a few weeks, there was no evidence. A few weeks ago she told me we were finished and that in the new year she'll have the money to file for divorce. I thought the last couple of months we were doing better. Last night I found out she had started dating someone two days after she told me we had no hope of getting back together. I'm heartbroken. I once again begged her to reconsider. She told me that she cared about me, but that she knew as soon as we said I dos that it was a mistake, that she thought it was her having cold feet and she'd overcome it, but she now knows that she wants to move on, and wishes me all the best. Should I suggest marriage counselling or just accept she just doesn't want me anymore? She is 20 and I'm 22. |

Posted: 16 Nov 2019 08:48 PM PST Hi everyone so my husband's mom just died from cirrhosis of the liver from years of hard drinking. My husband has been in tears all day and has been a complete baby. I have never seen eye to eye with his mom and he always abandoned me to go help her and now he is using our valuable money to pay for this hag's funeral. I could use the money to get my nails done or a waxing but he insists his mom get a good funeral. I also am waiting for my husband to cook my dinner and give me a massage but he is in the room sobbing over his stupid mom. |
Question: Ladies which of these 2 men would you choose? Posted: 16 Nov 2019 11:10 AM PST Man 1: - extremely handsome - kind, understanding, and mature - a bit lazy - great sex - great to do stuff with, not picky - generous, but doesn't have a lot of money - has emotional bagage: divorced, two children - manly man, knows cars, ict, women, the good things in life - not much interests or activities in common, different political views, music taste - good carreer with flexible hours, lives close nearby - you have to speak each other's second language to each other - sexy voice - might not want children - has a messy house that he is still paying off Man 2: - top career - rich - same political views - highly intelligent - a bit emotionally unavailable - wants children - slightly repetitive and belittling - has no license, but might one day get it - not much time, a bit workaholic - wants to buy a house for you and move in together - lots of interests in common, as well as hobbies - not too good in bed - very generous - not too good looking |
Question: Is it normal for hotel maids to sweep trash under the bed? Posted: 16 Nov 2019 11:02 AM PST A few times I would stay at hotels around the world and I always make a point to look under the bed and mattress to see if the maid simply sweeps trash under there. One time I found a pizza box and another a whole chicken. |

Question: Does life get better?.... Contemplating suicide ? Posted: 16 Nov 2019 10:45 AM PST I'm 21 years old and currently in my last year of college. These past few years have been very rough for me. I'm not sure if I will even graduate because I'm failing. No matter how hard I try, I fail. The last straw was recent. I've always had bad relationships, never good. I finally met this guy that was WONDERFUL. Everything I've ever wanted in a guy. He was amazing and I planned on even marrying him. Well, I got a phone call from his WIFE! I did not even know or have any clue he was married. He's 22 and she's turning 23. She blocked me off all of his things. He even told her I meant nothing to him and everything he told me was a lie. She claimed she was going to divorce him but I doubt it. Everything has been hell ever since. I've been extremely depressed, failing school (most likely won't graduate), and being ignored by everyone (none of my friends will return my messages or hang out with me). I truly have no one to talk to. I don't know how I'm going to get through this or if I can. I've always suffered from depression and anxiety and I've contemplated suicide in the past. I just don't understand my purpose in this life or why I'm constantly being dragged into situations. I just want the pain and hurt to stop. |
Question: Boyfriends brother engaged? Posted: 16 Nov 2019 09:39 AM PST I've been dating my boyfriend for over 3 years. His older brother has been dating a girl for a little over 2 years now. My boyfriend and I have a house together and a husky and two cats, and we are very happy, but my boyfriend's brother and his girlfriend (who live in an apartment with a golden retriever) just got engaged. I would be happy for them but over the years his girlfriend and I grew close and she told me about how much she hates her boyfriend, and that she's thought about moving, that they're unstable, that she thinks he's the most annoying person she's ever met, and that she'd have left by now if it weren't for the dog they share, and some of the most nasty things that I'd never say about my worst enemy and I'm not exaggerating. I want to be happy for them, but it's hard considering she's so two faced when it comes to their relationship. Around the family they're a nice couple but the second her and I are alone she tells me about all the things she hates about him. What do I do? Smile and keep my mouth shut? It's obvious that she doesn't care, so why should I, right? |
Question: My mother-in-law is driving me crazy. What should I do? Posted: 16 Nov 2019 08:28 AM PST Hi. A little backroung. I have known my husband since college. We dated for almost 7 years and married 1/5 year ago. He has 3 sisters and his father passed away 4 years ago. His mother is very emotionally dependent on her kids, especially on my husband Things only escalated after our marriage. We went in our honeymoon and she was able to convince us to come with us. For good, one of my husband's sister came with us and so we were able to enjoy part of it alone. After marrying, we moved to my husband's hometown so that he could be near her. I always went along because i wanted to support him and and I understood the death of her husband devastated her. But now it's impossible. When she is alone with me, she is always putting me down, but never directly. She will say things like: "Oh I educated my daughters so differently from how your mother educated you... but that's ok. We have to be modern"... I am 7 months pregnant and me and my husband had decided on a name for our baby: Naomi. However, when we revealed it, my in-law right away said she didn't like it and instead asked us to call her Mary Louise (Louise my in law name......). She said she would die in peace if we could do that. Of course my husband is now torn. I am really sad now. I love my husband and don't want to go against him. And is not even that I want Naomi that much, I was open to other suggestions. But having a daughter named Mary Louise will always remind me of a woman who cleary doesn't like me. |
Question: Should I continue to do this? Posted: 16 Nov 2019 07:48 AM PST I am a guy in college. My mom told me a friend of hers about her age had bought a new computer and she needed help learning how to use it. I agreed to help her. I went to her house to train her. A better description of her house would be a mansion. When I met her, I thought she was the most beautiful women I had ever seen in my life. She was gorgeous. Beautiful face, figure to die for and I assume very rich. She was anxious to lean all about her computer. I went to her house every Saturday and trained her for about 2 hours. I told her to call me any time she had a problem. She offered to pay me but I told her I don't take money for helping friends. She said at least let me take you to lunch as a way of saying thank you. Then I got a call from her husband telling me to stay away from his wife as she might start have feelings for me. This was a total surprise as I did not know she was married. Her husband was never there when I was there and she was not wearing a ring. The next time she called me, I told her what had happened and to say she was outraged was an understatement. She told me she was in the final stages of getting a divorce and her soon to be ex husband had no right to be calling me and making demands. She wanted me to continue the training sessions. Should I? Will I get caught in the middle of a divorce by continuing the training? |
Question: Told him I’d leave him alone ? Posted: 16 Nov 2019 04:55 AM PST and let him focus on family. His daughter is at home after outpatient surgery. I had gotten her some bath and body works and offered to bring food. His ex wife is there. Not best time I guess. Was wanting to see him..Haven't seen him in 3 weeks. He never responded. |
Question: Brooklyn nine-nine HELP? Posted: 16 Nov 2019 03:22 AM PST When the vulture steals the venue from Jake and Amy and gets confronted about it at the dinner table. He says : « she's over 30, of course I didn't marry her for money » I think I know the answer but my OCD gets worse for not being able to quite pick up the punch line. Was he being ironic ? Did he make a mistake implying he's into younger girls ? If he replaced the word « over 30 » to « under 40 » it would have made sense since it would take a while for him to inherit ( not to profiteer though) . Or did he make a mistake thinking he was talking about sex. Can somebody give me a thorough explanation of the whole thing ? |
Question: Would you stay with tour signify other if they did porn before you met? Posted: 16 Nov 2019 01:30 AM PST Say you're scrolling through some videos and you see your wife or husband banging it out. But the video was made before you two ever met. Would you watch it? Would you stay with them after that? |
Question: He left and I must move forward with holding down the household expenses.? Posted: 16 Nov 2019 01:17 AM PST My partner of 10 years has checked out of our relationship. He did take care of majority of the household expenses except groceries, my car note, daycare and my car ins. I started my own business at the beginning of this year and it has helped hold the household down in the events he struck financial hardships. My business's revenue is not a consistent flow of money due to the line of work but I have been job applying/interviewing for over year trying to land a secure job but no job has opened up for me. I keep trying to look at the positive side of things such as not finding a full time job, I am fortunate to be home w/ my 2 kids and run a business that I enjoy. Now unexpectedly I am left to carry the weight of a $1500 lease and utilities. I'm trying to figure out my next moves. I do not have a support system in close range. My children are thriving at the school that they are currently at and I really do not want to lose our rental home and disrupt the children stable environment. I was thinking in the meantime I can keep working my business part time while working with a temp service in hopes to land a permanent position. Then I can make a go fund account and ask for a little bit of assistance to help cover any off any bills that I am unable to cover. I will give myself a six month window to get financial stable or I will just to let the rental home and car go. Please help me game plan on how I can survive this road bump in life. Thank you in advance |
