I recently bought an engagement ring for my longtime girlfriend from a big jewelry chain (won't name names in this post, but let's say it rhymes with Shales). I thought all was well, but all of a sudden I've heard horror stories about the way the store does business and how they go about warranties and damages. As a person who worries about the future, I don't know if I feel comfortable doing business with a place that has ripped multiple people off. So my question is, should I return the ring and go elsewhere, or just hope for the best with the ring I've already purchased?
