Question: In laws house is disgusting and I can't stand going over there? Posted: 21 Nov 2019 08:15 AM PST Even though I am a perfectionist, neat freak, I do not expect others to be. I've been in some pretty messy homes and felt right at home. As long as they are sanitary, and I can move around, I am fine. But my in-law's house is getting unbearable. The whole place smells of pet urine and black mold. There is mold on every surface in the bathroom. I will never shower there. The tub is completely red with rust and the walls are covered in black mold. The shower curtain, covered in mold. Toilet looks like it hasn't been scrubbed in months. The floors, the walls, the sink...black mold. I don't see how they're not all sick. The carpet in the living and dining room are stained from years of pet urine. They have a cat that still will use the bathroom on the carpet instead of a litter box. They do try to clean it up but not enough. The walls, shelves, tables are covered in years of cobwebs and dust. It's borderline hoarding. You can still walk around, but there is piles of stuff stacked almost ceiling high on some of the shelves. I hate going over there. It makes my skin crawl, I can't hardly eat. I know it embarrasses my partner. He's never liked how they don't take care of the house at all. I've admitted to him I am hesitant to join him when he goes over there for a visit. And now that the house is just getting worse instead of better, I am afraid I may want to cease going altogether. Am I awful for that? I just feel so uncomfortable there... Also, we can't have them over because we don't have the sitting space. We live in a small apartment that is not fit for hosting... Also, my in laws are not old. 50's.... It's not "simple" to just not go over anymore. I am family, since I am married to their son. I don't want to be offensive towards them and I don't want to cause drama. To the second anonymous answer. Do you think we're made of money? We live in an apartment because it's what we can afford right now. And weekend get away for four people? We can barely afford to get away ourselves. Also, they don't like going out... |
Question: Does this mean he wants to be a couple? Posted: 21 Nov 2019 04:21 AM PST On third date, guy said he needs more time and get to know me more. However, he also said "when I'm dating you, I'm not dating others." He has also invited me to go on a Christmas trip with him and that I "invite my friends that are a couple to come along." |
Question: My boyfriend and his roommate are extremely dirty? Posted: 20 Nov 2019 10:37 PM PST I have been living with my boyfriend for the past couple of years and now for the past year, his brother has been living with us as well. His brother also has his gf over everyday. All three are extremely dirty, super slobs. My bf leaves dirty clothes and dirty underwear everywhere(our room, living room, bathroom-even though I had placed a dirty clothes hamper in the bathroom specifically for him to utilize), leaves dirty dishes and old food everywhere, I'll had just cleaned and not even 5 minutes later, he'll have the entire house looking dirty again. His excuse is that he has no room, no area to put his stuff. He definitely has an entire large walk in closet to use, among other areas in the house. His younger brother and his gf do not clean what so ever. I have yet to see him clean anywhere in the house. He allows his friends to come over and make messes that I have to clean. His girlfriend leaves dirty dishes everywhere, hair everywhere in the bathroom(including the bathroom sink), used tampons in the bathroom(not just the applicator), so on and so forth. He feels he works so much he doesn't have to clean up behind himself, but I pay the rent and we all work a lot. My bf was super clean before we had moved in together. I have mentioned me moving out and still continuing to date, but he comprehended that as us breaking up. He's even snapped on me in front of his friends for cleaning up behind him and accidentally putting his clean clothes with dirty. * For the people confused as to why I had given so much information, I had wanted to provide a bit of background as to what's been going on. |
Question: What are some signs of envious women? Posted: 20 Nov 2019 08:42 PM PST What are some signs to look for when you suspect another woman is envious of you? |
Question: Was my boyfriend shy too or did he just do that to make me more comfortable? Posted: 19 Nov 2019 02:04 PM PST He is usually protective and caring with me, but this time, I don't know, he was like that even more. As I panicked while having my first time with him (very first time for me, I was extremely nervous), almost crying and feeling cold and my hands were shaking, my boyfriend came close, calmed me down and smiled saying there was no need to do it, said 'may I be cursed for making you feel this way, come here, this is not an obligation, let it all go to hell, the important thing is that you are alright'. I cried a bit because I was feeling at fault for having reacted this way, he kissed me and held me until I stopped. Then we couldn't stop kissing and it happened, he asked me many times if I was sure and I said yes, and then he basically put a blanket on both of us (from his waist down) so that I wouldn't seen what was going on down there. Why did he do that?was he ashamed or he did that for me? |
