I come home from college (which is an hour away) every weekend. I know I saw him last week but he did not bring up a date until Friday night (even though he brushed me off the two days prior I mentioned it to him) and wouldnt tell me why he was busy on Saturday even though that was the only day I was free to see him because with exams I have to cut my weekend visit short. I found out he chose to spend Saturday moving his furniture to his new room so he could game with his guy friends. I feel slightly hurt and I want either advice or consoling. |

Posted: 23 Nov 2019 07:08 PM PST TLDR at bottom (please read some of the story though) Well before when I spoke to the girl I liked, she gave me hints that she liked me... played with her hair sometimes, had made jokes that she loved me and that I had "looked hot" and then one time she asked me "If I went to the dance would you go?" I had said "maybe" because I actually thought she was joking but then I realize she wasn't and when I did realize she wasn't, two weeks have passed already and shes shes been ignoring me and doesn't like me anymore it seems. I did apologize to her two days ago and had asked her to the dance (throught text since she doesn't want to see me in person and avoids me) but she didn't say anything and she even moved her seat in class to not see me anymore. She didn't go to the dance and I've been wondering if I could fix anything or is it too late? TLDR: Should I just give up on a girl who now ignores me after showing interest in me and asking me to the dance? I had told her "maybe" because I thought she was joking but she wasn't I realized. He has high energy whenever I text him and he's available a good amount of the time I may want to see him. We had sex and the morning after he took me to a nice brunch spot and spent the day with me. The only thing I'm wondering (and maybe I shouldn't as it's only going on 4weeks now) is if I should care about his lack of initiation. I would say I start conversations more than he does but every time I do I get a quick response and we end up going to do something that day or the next. I will note he's been like this the entire time. His personality hasn't changed after sex. It's just something I notice that if I don't text him first I won't hear from him for a day or two. So I want to know if it's even worth bringing up about his lack of communication/responsiveness or since it's so early who cares? |

| Question: I dont know why I feel so confused, I do respect her choices and I do like her.? Posted: 23 Nov 2019 04:21 PM PST We started talking few months, I told her i am interested but she said i want to know you first, my exams were gonna start next week. so we decided to get to know each other and then after my exams we will decide if we want to together or not. so now exams are overs and I proposed her to be my girlfriend, we are also good friend, And she declined my proposal. saying she doesn't want to commit right now and that they move around alot (military family) and long distance relationships can be hard. She said she want to stay friends with me, close friends, be each other support and be there for each other and listen to each other and all that and we agreed. Its kinda hard getting over the proposal thingy but hey I do respect every choice that she makes and i don't want to ruin what we still have and I will be her support and always be there for her. Now tell me if this isn't the right thing to do? P.S I kinda feel like she has hidden her instagram and snapchat stories from me P.S why am i always have to text her first? P.S At first she used to come to me to ask me if i am free to talk or her friends used to force her sort of tease her to talk to me and now that doesn't happen...We are now, like i said, close friends. idk idk i am sort of confused. In the beginning she said she likes me she also told my friend she is sort of interested but everything sort of changed cuz I was more focused on my exams.and now she says 'you are a nice person'. |

She has showed some signs that she might like me, but I am not 100% sure. She does this one thing that is really werid. So if im working at self checkout she will pass it about 3 feet and then turn and look at me. She never looks at me while she is in front of the self check out. She always waits until is by the registers and then she turns around to look at me |

Posted: 23 Nov 2019 03:59 PM PST So Ive been avoiding dating for a few months because Im sick of it but during those months there was a boy that I went to high school with that tried to ask me out. I didn't consider him my type because he seemed like those cocky guys and he was very popular and well known in school.I was the complete opposite lol and he never noticed me which was fine because I didnt care for him. I was a grade below him. I finally gave in last month and gave him my number and we texted here and there. He was never a good texter but I never cared. I wasn't planning on this going any further than just texting. He finally decided to ask me out after a month of texting and I agreed . I didn't expect anything out of it and thought he would probably try to hook up with me so I was kinda hesitant. But it was the best date I been on in a long time. We kept it simple and saw a movie but afterwards we talked for hours about life and it seemed like he was everything i wanted in someone I would date. He told me that I was easy to talk to and he'd been trying to talk to me for months before and was surprised I gave him a chance. At the end he surprisingly kissed me and didnt try anything with me and during the date he planned our next date. The next date came but he canceled on me for whatever reason. Nows its been a few days and I haven't heard anything from him and the last message I sent him he didn't reply . Does that mean he never liked me? Im so confused. |
