Question: Concerning my marriage? Posted: 08 Nov 2019 01:59 PM PST Ok me and my wife been married for a year now. And she is very controlling, she talks down to me she, always get mad over small things and threatening divorce, I never, she always say I don't bring nothing to the table which I do I work, I allow her to manage the back acct to pay bills I do clean the house but she always complain about what I did and didn't do, she is always on Facebook and never gets me an attention after I come home so I just go shower and go too bed, we haven't had sex in months and every time I touch her she throws my hands off but she can touch me, I think she is cheating cause she wakes up out her sleep and back on Facebook, that's who she is married too Facebook and I'm tried of it, even when we go out on date night she is on Facebook |
Question: Is this inappropriate? Posted: 08 Nov 2019 01:13 PM PST My husband spent time completely alone with his female former coworker at our house while I was at work and it bothers me and he doesn't understand why it bothers me. Would you say that's okay or is it inappropriate? It makes me uncomfortable and I don't know what to tell him because his answer is "I'm offended that you would think I would cheat on you because that's not a possibility" I've been cheated on before by my ex and I am upset. But I do not have a reason (besides this) that my husband has cheated on me. I don't know what to do. |
Question: Is this money tainted and I should refuse to take it? Posted: 08 Nov 2019 12:59 PM PST I got a call from an attorney's office that they were probating the estate of my former husband Bill's grandmother, a person I really liked and admired. They said she had left me $400,000 in her will. I was shocked. She had told me I was in her will when I was married to Bill but I never gave it much thought. I thought there must be some mistake so I called Bill and asked him about. I thought perhaps she forgot to change her will when Bill and I got a divorce. Bill assured me that she loved me VERY MUCH and she wanted me to have the money as did he. He said that I had given her a lot of happiness during her life and I deserved the money in her will. Bill said she knew about our divorce but that did not change her love for me. I got another surprise when my current husband told me he does not want me to take the money. He says it is "tainted" because it is coming from my ex husband's family. I told my husband that this transaction HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HIM. Bill's grandmother was my friend and she wanted me to have the money and I am taking it. It will provide me (and him) with a life time of financial security and he is going to have to accept it and get on with his life or else. Did I make the right decision in this matter? Gals, what would you do in this situation? YOUR ADVICE PLEASE. |

Question: Why is there marriage? Posted: 08 Nov 2019 09:06 AM PST I ask because divorce seems so painful |
Question: Divorce with lack of detail? Posted: 08 Nov 2019 08:43 AM PST Divorce was done by lawyer with marital settlement agreement (no contest, one lawyer). It was decided in the meetings that we would each pay for life insurance until we turned age 70 with the other as beneficiary. At that time we could either cancel the policies or change beneficiary. We have now reached 70. And we are each paid up for another 6 months (annual payment). Now looking at the divorce decree it says: HUSBAND SHALL REMAIN ON WIFE'S INSURANCE POLICY UNTIL FURTHER AGREEMENT. It says nothing about WIFE SHALL REMAIN ON HUSBAND'S INSURANCE POLICY UNTIL FURTHER AGREEMENT. We have nothing in writing that says what that further agreement was. The reason the 70 is important is that the premium now goes from 1500 to 26,000 for the next year and steadily increases each year. Because of the wording, can he now force me to continue with the payments using up all my assets? I am terminally ill and it is to his advantage to force me to continue to pay. There is no time to take to a lawyer or go to court. :( |
Question: How can you stay monogamous? Posted: 08 Nov 2019 08:16 AM PST I am happily married with a wonderful 10 month old baby boy. I married the love of my life and he is an amazing guy - in every way! We have a great understanding and a loving relationship in every aspect. However I find it difficult to control my emotions. I have had a few people show their interest and attraction towards me and I haven't taken it far until now. I have kept this secret from my husband because I don't want to lose him. I want to be faithful but I am falling for this other guy who knows I am married and he doesn't seem to care. The other guy wants a serious relationship with me but I would have to end my relationship with my husband which I don't want. I want to be faithful but I can't. How do you remain faithful to your significant other? |
Question: I wanna split up with my partner? Posted: 08 Nov 2019 08:13 AM PST Hi, I have a problem with my partner as she doesn't show any affection towards me and doesn't really care about me. And we have 7 months old daughter as well. When we make an argument, she leaves my baby girl with me and leaves her crying and doesn't care about it. And when she is mad she physically harasses me as when, not to mention she hit my daughter while she was hitting my and blamed me for it. We are actually a young couple as I am 19 and her is 20 and currently living with her parents while we are putting almost all of our earnings into our savings. So my mom, my lil brother and her partner came to ask for hand in marriage from my partner just recently and we were all celebrating about it. Then when everyone was out she started talking bad about me and my mom. I just feel like going away from her but can't leave my daughter. |
