Question: Is it acceptable to wear an engagement ring, and bridal set? Posted: 04 Feb 2019 03:55 PM PST This may be a silly question, but my fiancee bought me an engagement ring that he proposed with. It was not a bridal set with the wedding band and engagement ring. I ve read that if you don t have matching sets you can wear your engagement ring on your right hand ring finger, and the wedding band on wedding finger, or you can wear both mismatched on your wedding finger. What I m wondering is if it s acceptable to purchase an entire different bridal set, with the wedding band and engagement ring and wear that as my wedding ring? I live my engagement ring, so either way I will wear it on my right hand.. but I m finding that wedding bands by themselves aren t quite up to my expectations to wear long term. I love the look of some bridal set pairs I ve seen. I tried searching for info, but had no luck. Any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance! |
