It seems like the older I get, being single is really starting to bother me. I do a really good job at pretending like it's no big deal. But deep down, it really bothers me. I made a bunch and I actually made some coffee flavored donuts for this one girl that like seeing and I try to get along. I told her that I needed to talk to her about something that happened last week (nothing happened, but I wanted to just give her some treats in private). However, I'm hesitant to accept, because not only does she live in the Dark Ages, i.e. has this "woman shouldn't have to work or pay for anything" attitude, but she treated me like crap: 1. When I was two dollars short of the bill at a restaurant, she sat there with her arms folded and said, "Don't look at ME." So I went to the ATM across the street. 2. When we ordered takeout for $20.10, she gave me a dime and said with an attitude, "Don't ever say I don't do anything for you." FYI, I never once told her how I felt about me paying for everything. So, absolutely nothing from my mouth prompted that sassy comment about the ten cents. BTW, she's in a band with her family. But when we all hung out as I watched them perform, I felt like *I* was *her* meal ticket. Such irony. Don't get it twisted, because I'm no golddigger myself. But the fact that she refuses to buy herself a cup of coffee, just really irks me. That fame was one of the most uncomfortable, awkward experiences of my life. This girl at my school was voted onto court. Her boyfriend goes to a different school, so she asked me to be her partner. I don't really talk to her too much. Basically, all court is at our school is an announcement near the end of the dance, and a slow dance that follows (with the court members). It doesn't seem too bad, but for me, the only experiences I've had with slow dancing have been very bad. When I play it through in my head, I just imagine it being awkward. Basically a 3 minute hug with maybe a little awkward conversation. I feel like it's rude to just not say anything and look away the whole time. I feel like it's weird to look at each other and not say anything. I feel like I wouldn't know what to talk about if we tried talking during the song. I know I'm probably just in my own head, but I can't picture a way where slow dancing isn't awkward. I never really understood why people are so willing to ask each other to dance. The last few times that I have smoked, it turns me into a terrible person. I have all these negative thoughts all the sudden feel like I am above everyone including my boyfriend. Its like I'm still super insecure about myself but i have this giant hypocritical ego. I start thinking stuff like our relationship is fake, how its embarrassing to date him (not for any specific reason though, im just "better" than him in my head high) and how stupid and annoying he is. When Im high i honestly do not feel like in love with him and I dislike him. This is so different how I felt about my boyfriend high the first couples times. I remember constantly feeling super appreciative for him and I wanted to text him "I love you" every 5 seconds. I also remember thinking about the things he does that bother me sober, and i thought of those things as almost attractive my first few times high. Now when Im high hate all my dreams and stuff. Im so judgmental of other people high including with issues i personally deal with. Being High makes me so selfish, judgmental, hateful, against any kind of individuality, and only makes me care about really superficial things. When its like this, I dont enjoy being high at all and im exteremely unhappy. And the worst part of it ive noticed that i get intrusive thoughts with this perspective sober. anyone else? |

This girl, who I didn't know personally but I knew of her ever since we were kids, was going up and down the aisle on the bus, essentially judging people. I was sitting near her so I could hear what she was saying however it looked like I was listening to my music because I had my headphones in. Anyways, once she got to me, I remember her saying verbatim "That girl is so ugly, she looks like a f****** terrorist, her parents could be terrorists for all we know, she's so ugly." I did nothing but listen. No one said anything out of fear that she'd verbally attack them too. This girl, who knew nothing about me was able to, in that very moment, knock the air out of my lungs. Her first impression of me was that I was so ugly. It's something I can't forget no matter how hard I try and I wonder if that's what all people think of me. Is it okay that I haven't let this go. |

He claims they are just friends and he did not mean it all though she also confessed feelings back to him. They continue to talk everyday and I've expressed I do not feel comfortable with it, even though they are just friends feelings were already expressed and hidden from me. The first times were perfect bc my eyebrows were waxed by this woman but after that she rejected me all the time whenever i asked her for an appointment she would say i am not free or come rn ( i wasnt free then either i was out or at schoo) so i went in another salon and another woman waxed my eyebrows. At first, they were as perfect as before but after 3-4 times the hair stopped growin.. i asked her what i can do about this she said just grow them, dont do anything so i did that and they wont grow like they did before! I havent done anything to them in over a year ... what can i do to get back my old beautiful eyebrows? She thinks she should be more important than his studying and his sleep, and expects him to drop everything to go hang out with her, even if it's just to watch tv. | Question: I dont know what to do about my crush and tomorrows valentines day? Need help!!? Posted: 13 Feb 2019 02:27 PM PST Yeaa... so valentines day is tomorrow and of course theres this girl i really want. We're really close friends, and i texted her how i felt about her a while ago back in May. She said she was still hung up on her ex (who treated her like dirt, i actually know him) and she said me and her should just stay as close friends. I respected her and said ok. She stopped talking to the guy by now of course. It feels like shes getting more distant from me, and i dont want that. Like she would text me and face time me all the time to go chill with her in the lounge or her room. I cant explain it, but she used to always wanna see me and that had me obsessed with her. Anyways i would address that more, but thats just a summary. So what should i do about tomorrow? Should i buy her some gifts? I wanna ask her out to the mall too for maybe lunch or dinner, but i feel like she would turn that down (i know females never turn down food, but i would be too scared to ask her). So should i bother getting her bears and chocolate and flowers even if I'm gonna get flat out rejected? Before you say something like "yes you should so she feels appreciated", i just want to let you know im in college and not a little kid. That means i only really wanna buy her something if im getting something in return. Even if i dont get something in return, i love her so much that maybe buying the gifts to show her i appreciate her isnt a bad idea. I might not buy her anything and just try and forget my feelings. |
