Posted: 25 Feb 2019 04:55 PM PST My mother was married to "my father " ( more like dead beat "dad") for years. He left her with me and my older brother almost 2 decades now. I am going on 26 in May and my Brother already Turned 27 this year. 2 decades will be in another 3 years. My mother been once told him she wasn't looking to get any money from him she just wanted a divorce. For years he has been dodging her and his responsibility as a "father". But he played step daddy to his "other wife" kids and her niece. The niece actually calls him daddy. Any way how can I help my mother get her divorce? This guy's excuse is that he was either locked up in prison or in the hospital. And AGAIN he has the "other wife". Who KNOWS his history. Which means she KNOWS he isn't divorced from my mother, whom been struggling to provide for her kids. We live in NYC and he is in Florida. |
Question: How do I repay her for the help she gave me? Posted: 25 Feb 2019 04:45 PM PST Where I work is being taken over by another company and they are eliminating the department I work in. This will be a disaster as jobs are very hard to find in this area. The new company told us they have openings in other departments but you have to have some very special training to get these jobs. I checked and this training is very expensive. Losing my job would be a disaster. I tried to borrow the money for the training from everyone I knew but no one would loan me money. I was down to the last name in my phone book, my ex husband. I finally got up the courage to call him. We had a friendly divorce but I had never asked him for money before. He said I will get back with you tomorrow. MUCH to my surprise he called back and said his current wife Joan would give me the training for FREE. I was in shock. Could this really be happenings? Joan did give me the training free and I got one of the new jobs that paid more than my last job and I had a great new boss. Joan was the nicest person EVER. I can not say enough good things about her. All my friends that I told about this said I was the luckiest person alive because usually the new wife wants nothing to do with the previous wife. She must be a saint to do what she did for me. I know I owe Joan big time. Please give me some thoughts on how I can repay her for the kindness she gave to me. Kind words are just not enough for this EXTREMELY NICE PERSON. |
Question: Should I make the first move on a married man? Posted: 25 Feb 2019 04:19 PM PST So before judging, I don't look for married men to have sex with. This man I work with is everything I have been looking for in a man and I'm falling really hard for him. I am fully aware he is technically still married but they are separated and has problems in their marriage (yes they have children together). All the signs are there that he is attracted to me. He is an extrovert, he does lingering touches to my arm, hands, etc. his eyes always locks with mine, I know and see him watching me across the room, we joke around all the time (mostly sexual dirty jokes) we love being in each other's presence and even text me calling me "babe". However he is hesitant when it comes to go any further from that, and it's possible that, though he has a lousy marriage to the point of being separated, he may have the guilt of cheating on his wife. So my question is, should I give him the affirmation that I want him too and take that step, or should I respect that he's still married and still let him know I'm interested in him too and wait for him to completely divorce her? Side note: He already is aware that I have a thing for him too, I made that pretty obvious to him |
Posted: 25 Feb 2019 03:55 PM PST Honestly... have some of you gotten married and still loved your first love and never told your wife/new girl. It's ok to be honest here... Have you cried over them even though it's the past... |
Question: What does it mean when your husband wants to nut in you? Posted: 25 Feb 2019 03:03 PM PST Do this mean he trying to make a baby he told me that i belong to him |
Posted: 25 Feb 2019 01:31 PM PST So my husband's 68. I met him 5 years ago and we got married in summer 2014. In 2004 he lost his 19 years old son in Iraq. His marriage shattered then shortly after. He's got another daughter who's now in her 30s. For several years he and his ex wife couldn't see each other anymore. They hated each other. In the last few years they have made some kind of peace. The woman now is married with another man,we've had them many times to dinner too. I am actually almost friend with his ex wife. However my husband recently got on facebook and posted a lot of pictures. He made an album called "better days" where there's family vacations with his ex wife, his son and his daughter. "better days" has 8 photos in it in which there are the 4 of them smiling and happy. In the last photos there are just him and his ex wife hugging while their son is in the back having fun making a funny face. His ex wife commented that picure with " I wish I could go back in time... this made me cry" and I get that she said that cause there's their teenager son who will be killed in combat like a year or so after that picture but why my husband felt the need to tite the whole thing "better days"? I don't wanna sound like I'm 5 but if he thinks those are better days then what am I doing here with him now? what am I,like the plan b? |

Posted: 25 Feb 2019 10:09 AM PST I was married for 20 years then divorced. My ex was also working and earning good money sometimes more than me. Her income record goes back to 1980 whilst mine started in 1987. Does she still get part of my benefits when I retire ? |

Question: How well would you handle living close to your husbands ex? Posted: 25 Feb 2019 09:12 AM PST How well would you handle living close to your husbands ex? 2 houses away, or even 5 houses away. Keep in mind, that when you look out the windows in your own home you will be able to see her house. When in your yard, you will be able to see her and what shes doing, and vice versa. When leaving your home you will have to drive past her house every time. You would most likely run into her often as well. Would it make you uncomfortable? Would it feel like your just an extension of his past instead of your new life together? Would it bother you knowing that your husband can see his ex from your house on a daily basis? Im just curious on everyones honest opinions. Is this something you would want for your everyday life and how would it make you feel? |
Question: To all the men: Why is my husband being weird when his ex is around? Posted: 25 Feb 2019 09:12 AM PST My husband and I dated for 2 years, and married for 1 year. Last week we went to a restaurant and his ex-wife was there. She was laughing and talking with her friends. My husband seems unhappy knowing she's there. I don't know why. 🤦🏻♀️ He rolled his eyes a few times and repeatly saying he doesn't want to be there. I tell him not to let that ruin his day. Perhaps he's still angry at her for leaving him to be with another guy? Or maybe he still care? Anyway, when she left the restaurant, he is himself again. He is the man I married, the man who I see every day. But when she is around, he's a unhappy angry different man? Why????? |
Posted: 25 Feb 2019 07:48 AM PST For the past few weeks I have woken up to drawing and marker scribbles all over my face. My wife thought my son was pulling a prank on me, but after yelling at him for it, he seemed pretty sincere that it was not him. After a week, I woke up and saw my wife asleep next to me with the marker in her hand. I have been very concerned about her since this happened, but it has been happening so often that I'm starting to doubt it is an accident. Please help |

Question: What am I supposed to do about my teenage son who's single handedly ruining my marriage? Posted: 25 Feb 2019 06:46 AM PST My son is an autistic child. Not autistic like you see in the movies or on TV or in news articles online but autistic in the sense that he can't develop social skills or learn new things because of the way his brain works. Basically my son is a special needs child and I'll probably have to take care of him long into his twenties. The issue of the matter though is that with him being so special needs it's hurting my relationship with my wife because we don't have time for each other at all anymore. When we leave him to do what he wants and have maximum autonomy all he does is play video games or listen to music or sleep and there's absolutely no skill-building whatsoever. He turns 17 in 5 months and he is three semesters behind all of his classmates because he continues to fail classes due to his learning disability and giving up on education. The teachers don't want him in school but they don't want him to drop out either so I'm stuck in a situation of Perpetual discipline for a child who doesn't respond to discipline whatsoever. Meanwhile I haven't had sex with my wife in a long time nor have I really had the ability to create the environment for a romantic setting. Long story short, my entire life has been hijacked by my son, and there doesn't appear to be any change in the near future. I'm tired and I don't know what to do because his special needs isn't improving with medicine or therapy. Anyone have advice for me? |

Question: How do I get my wife and pet to coexist? Posted: 25 Feb 2019 06:29 AM PST On Tuesday evening, I had a squirrel sneak into my house. It was running all over. I finally cornered it, and bit me and scratched me a few times. But after feeding it, it has seemed to take a liking to me. Now, I really don't want to have it exterminated, and was thinking of keeping it as a pet. I tried to explain that to my wife, but she is flipping out. I guess last night, she went to check on the baby, and the squirrel was in the crib. Well, she got all upset... Eventhough, the squirrel was just sitting in there in the crib batting around some of the toys, and didn't even harm the baby. I tried to explain that the squirrel probably never had toys, and just wanted to play... So I don't see what the big deal is. But now, I got all these ultimatums, about the squirrel goes, or she goes, blah, blah, blah... Can anybody give me any advice as to help us rectify this so her and the squirrel can coincide together. As I would hate to think that she would put her petty health concerns over my deep desire to have a loving pet! I don't think I could be with that selfish of a person. |
