Question: Ain't abortion a beautiful rite of passage from girlhood into womanhood? Posted: 21 Feb 2019 03:01 PM PST I got my first abortion when I was 14 and it was so adorable. |
Question: What do you think of my parents' reaction following my miscarriage? Posted: 21 Feb 2019 03:01 PM PST I'm in my 30ies, married, and just had a miscarriage - it was my first pregnancy. My parents (who live pretty far away) told me not to call them during the coming week, because their grandson (my nephew, who is 6) was staying at their home and they didn't want him to possibly hear a conversation about that. Do you find their reaction shocking or understandable? |

Question: Excuses to drive to a different state? Posted: 21 Feb 2019 09:51 AM PST I'm 16 and my best friend lives in a neighboring state. Driving to his house, spending time with him, and coming back would take all day. I have a drivers license and a car that I inherited but if my parents don't know ahead of time where I'm going they will call the cops. There is an Onstar tracker in my car and they have used it to track my location in the recent past. They don't want me seeing this friend. What are some good, believable excuses for being in another state all day? I would be back by curfew. No trolls please, I've been getting more and more lonely and I just want to be with my friend |
Question: I hate our new puppy. Help?!? Posted: 21 Feb 2019 08:28 AM PST My husband and daughter convinced me to get a beagle puppy about 2 weeks ago. We just moved into a brand new house 2 months ago. I established that early on in our relationship, before having a child, and we have not owned a dog before. But somehow they talked me into it. I have horrible anxiety and I had hoped that the dog would help that but it has only made it worse. The second day we had her I was sobbing in our garage while washing dog beds and towels that were covered in pee and poop knowing I made a massive mistake. Any time I look at the puppy it makes me sick and I have had 3 more massive panic attacks since then from just chasing the dog around to stop the chewing, biting us, and constantly cleaning our house. I want to rehome the puppy but my husband will not budge. My daughter loves the *idea* of having a puppy but none of the responsibility, and flinches when the dog gets close to her (still getting used to it). I don't know what to do or how to cope. I desperately want to get rid of the dog, to the point where I feel like I'm presenting an ultimatum to my husband. I know I pretty much look like a villain no matter which way this situation goes. [I'll go ahead and list them now: "You're a terrible person", "you should have known what you were getting into", "you're probably freaking out for no reason", "you can't do that to your family" and all the other insults that may come with this post. Trust me, I know all of these things.] |
Posted: 21 Feb 2019 06:33 AM PST I am happily married with two kids I'm also in a sexual relationship with one of my daughter's best friends recently I have come to find out that the girl is now currently pregnant out of sake of protecting my family I told her she cannot have the kid and I would not be able to be there for the child because my wife and my kids would find out she is convinced that she can do this on her own my fear is someday she will come and ask me for help and with that said it would expose our secret I am not exactly sure why she wants to keep it or what her intentions are for doing so but either way I cannot take the chance of her decision coming back to haunt me how do you convince a young girl that she is not ready for a child |
Question: Does this look weird? (High school thing )? Posted: 21 Feb 2019 04:19 AM PST I am a junior in high school I have done the swim and cheer teams swim I didn't like and then cheer I had drama with the coaches. Anyways I have always thought about running and the track season is coming up and although I work I miss being on a team and need to do something more. Anyways one of my good guy friends wanted me to join and told me about the meeting going down today and I said I would be going. However, the guy I have been talking to for like a year now and have known since 8th grade will also be there and I'm just scared if me going or being there will make him think I'm joining because of him? which is not the case because I really want to be on a team I like running and want the excess rise/ social part of a team again. Does it look weird that I'm joining if he's already on it? I really wish it didn't need some opinions/advice |
Posted: 21 Feb 2019 03:25 AM PST Literally everyone I know has at least one baby by now. The thing that makes me the just sad is seeing my friends or family post those stupid meme things making fun of childless friends like "lol when your childless friends talk about being tired" it's not a good a feeling especially when they ask me to watch their children |

Question: Is this bound to end? Posted: 20 Feb 2019 07:36 PM PST I'm an introvert dating an introvert who's like an extrovert. Basically I'm overwhelmed. She's beautiful, older, she drinks I don't. I don't have a problem with her drinking though. She clubs with her friends, I don't club. I try to make up for it by cooking for her, buying her gifts, telling her how much she means to me etc. but I don't want to be dry or boring. She's way out of my league I only got her cause of my sense of humor when I approached her. |
