My friend Lisa and I are practically sisters. We've been friends for 16years. She met her husband and within three months they were pregnant. They have been together just about three years now. He doesn't really do much besides being home a paycheck and complains about having to do anything for his child. My childhood classmate is getting married and she invited everyone she went to school with to her party. One of my ex best friend is going to be at the party and I feel like she messes up the vibe at parties for me. With her my life is perfect attitude. She wanted me to forgive her for something she did years ago but I don't forget, I hold grudges. Should I skip this party? She's not just one person, she has her sisters and cousins going as a gang to mess up my mood

I'm going away for college next year and one of my friends is sad for me to go. This friend is a year younger than me and I used to have feelings for them when we first became close. here's one example. recently, i cut bangs, which i felt made me look nicer and i liked how it looked. shortly after, my friend cut them. she looked very nice, but i couldn't help feeling annoyed that she had them now since i felt like she was copying me? i felt very guilty feeling this way, because i don't know if she did or not, but i just can't help feeling annoyed and wishing she just kept her hair the way it was. why is this happening and how can i stop feeling like this with other similar things that happen?

I have a good friend Wanda who is a single mom who has a 15 year old daughter Jo. She told me Jo was failing math in school and needed a tutor and that she could not afford a tutor. She asked if I would tutor Jo and she would pay me when she got some money. I told her I would tutor Jo for free and I did. The tutoring must have helped because Jo's grade went from an F to a B+. Wanda and Jo were both happy with the results of the tutoring and wanted to take me to dinner to just to say thanks. At the dinner Wanda excused herself to take a cell phone call. When her mom was gone Jo asked me it I thought she was old enough to be allowed to date. I told her that was between her and her mom and I did not have an opinion on that. She then asked me what age I started dating and I told her 15 or 16 years old. Jo asked if I would talk to her mom about her dating. She said her mom greatly respected my opinion and she would listen to me. I don't think I should get into this discussion with Wanda about Jo dating do you? Moms and teen age girls, please let me know what the right thing to do in this situation is.

At 18 I had somewhat of a FWB relationship with my 31 year old coworker, but I didn't feel comfortable and he was very pushy. I was best friends with a guy I used to work with, after I left my job due to assault/harassment from another employee. He helped me through all of that, & he started talking about dating/marrying me. I fell for him but he told me he didn't think he was what I deserved yet, & if he did commit to someone it'd be me. Hi guys, So I'm a senior in high school and choosing uni is one of the hardest things that I've ever had to do. I decided to ask my former teacher for advice. He's a great guy and I really like him (as friends of course, we're both straight and he's even married with children). I m friends with some girl for the last two years and things have been spiralling out of control from day one. Has anyone ever experienced this? I know we shouldn't take things personal. And I accept not everyone will like. I still treat people with kindness until they prove they're not worthy of my time or energy. I don't use my confidence to get my way or be rude or oblivious or anything bad. So what gives?? I'm also a firm believer that the universe tests us so I'm thinking it's that.

Okay, so theres this girl named Catherine and she had a falling out with her friend group so she started hanging out with me and my friends. Everything was going smooth until I started to notice that she started to bother me. She always talked about popularity and always wanted to make everything about her. She was ALWAYS with me every second of the day. and the other day I had enough!!! She did my friend so dirty. She was in a partner project with my other friend Lisa and she made her do the project all by herself. Literally did not feel bad about it. She always made up fake excuses to get out of doing the work until the day before it was due, she finally agreed to work on it. Okay, we met at work, and we are 4 years apart (he's 16 and I'm 20). We have always had this flirty, playful banter. We both push each other's buttons but laugh and play around like this with only each other. He continually holds eye contact when we talk and I've checked..his pupils get dilated for sure. We have broken the touch barrier a few times looking at hand sizes etc. Also, he has told me many stories about his past relationships and has even made comments saying that four years age difference isn't that much (hinting about us I believe), etc. It's obvious he works harder to impress me, and he gets competitive (I am also very competitive haha). I have made hints that maybe we should hang out outside of work (it's been awhile since we have- things have come up) and he said he'll see if he can work something out, so there's that. A friend of mine who also works with us says that it appears that we are always flirting with each other and that I need to evaluate our relationship. Do you think that he sees me as more than friends, or is he just having fun at work? And if yes, do you think it's okay to pursue this relationship? I admit I really like him but I would appreciate some outside feedback.

I've been on my own now for 2 years. I still get out to bars to see bands or a game on tv. I go to the gym to work out and play basketball. I find having too many friends drama. Yes I had some fake friends in the past. This isn't going to make me make friends again. For now I just like to find a good bar and meet some regs and the bar staff is cool. I'm good with just that. I have a big issue with my friend. I am supposed to visit her this summer,however,there is a big price difference in flighttickets between april-june,its a 600 dollar difference between the cheaper ticket(april) and the more expensive (june) we already planned for me to come in june since its her birthday,but honestly I cant afford that ticket with my current salary as I also have bills every month.I tried to tell her this and she basically said "umm you better come in june" How do i deal with this situation?
