Question: I found out my best friend’s husband’s deep dark secret and I don’t know what to do? Posted: 24 Feb 2019 05:51 PM PST My friend Lisa and I are practically sisters. We've been friends for 16years. She met her husband and within three months they were pregnant. They have been together just about three years now. He doesn't really do much besides being home a paycheck and complains about having to do anything for his child. He went out drinking with a friend of my and told my friend that he regrets having a child so quickly and too young. He said he also feels stuck in their relationship and that he doesn't like being a father. I suspected that he didn't like being a father but to know he said that kills me. What should I do? Tell my friend so she can prepare for him potentiomally abandoning their family? Or do nothing? |

Question: Should I go to this party? I don't like negative energy? Posted: 24 Feb 2019 04:33 PM PST My childhood classmate is getting married and she invited everyone she went to school with to her party. One of my ex best friend is going to be at the party and I feel like she messes up the vibe at parties for me. With her my life is perfect attitude. She wanted me to forgive her for something she did years ago but I don't forget, I hold grudges. I was excited when I got invited to the party but when I saw the people who got invited included her and she is going to, I don't feel like going. I want to live positive vibe and energy. Should I skip this party? She's not just one person, she has her sisters and cousins going as a gang to mess up my mood |

Question: Should I have told him about the other guy? Posted: 24 Feb 2019 04:20 PM PST This guy and I are friends initially he had asked me to go with him to the Opera. But I asked him if he wanted to be friends with benefits he said yes and that he has always been into me. He's someone I met on his job I use to shop where he works. Recently we hooked up but before we had sex. We went to the movies and to dinner. While we were eating we talked. I told him that I like to travel to a certain place once a year. He asked me why I always go to the same place. I told him to see a friend he asked me what do I do with my friend. I didn't tell him it was a guy though. |
Question: Why do teenagers like Fortnite so much? Posted: 24 Feb 2019 03:43 PM PST It's stupid! I am a teenage boy who thinks Fortnite is stupid! Why? Well because the game is designed in a way that makes killing seem like a "reward". Now that's where schizophrenic people come from! Fortnite should be banned throughout the whole USA. |
Question: Ok so I met this cancer guy last week...? Posted: 24 Feb 2019 01:43 PM PST So we're borh cancers FYI. He invited me over, he made dinner we had a few drinks and watched a movie. Then we went 4 rounds. We talked about literally everything in depth because well we're cancers. We've been texting non stop and we even hung out the next day after work and went another 2 rounds. Now here's the problem: he's recently divorced and he told me likes me and I'm fun to be around. I told him the same thing. Now with me as a cancer as well I tend to get attached quickly. So today I asked him what he was looking for. He said I'm the only person he's sleeping with, and that he likes spending time with me. He also said he doesn't wanna rush anything or put labels on anything just yet either. I guess I'm just confused as to what he really means. Like does he really want to continue to hookup or what? Please give me some advice. |
Question: Should stay in the friend zone or ditch them? Posted: 24 Feb 2019 01:05 PM PST I'm going away for college next year and one of my friends is sad for me to go. This friend is a year younger than me and I used to have feelings for them when we first became close. They rejected me but we kind of staggered through the friendship and managed to maintain it. The next year, we got close again after keeping our distance for a while. For some reason, they are clinging onto me and telling me all these things I wish they said when I liked them. Is it fair for them to want to be close with them even after rejecting me? I am really getting hurt by this and I don't know what to do. We hang out on the weekends and they always express how much they will miss me. They even said they were willing to follow me to university because they wanted to be close to me. But whenever I am close with them, my feelings come back and I don't want to like them again. I can't be friends with them after they rejected me but they don't understand how much I actually cared for them at the time. What should I do? |
Question: What do you think is the worst “bad personality trait” ? Posted: 24 Feb 2019 11:16 AM PST I honestly think either overly-sensitive or dishonest. |

Question: Why do i get so mad when people copy me? Posted: 24 Feb 2019 10:22 AM PST here's one example. recently, i cut bangs, which i felt made me look nicer and i liked how it looked. shortly after, my friend cut them. she looked very nice, but i couldn't help feeling annoyed that she had them now since i felt like she was copying me? i felt very guilty feeling this way, because i don't know if she did or not, but i just can't help feeling annoyed and wishing she just kept her hair the way it was. why is this happening and how can i stop feeling like this with other similar things that happen? |
Question: Did I do the right thing to stay out of this? Posted: 24 Feb 2019 10:15 AM PST I have a good friend Wanda who is a single mom who has a 15 year old daughter Jo. She told me Jo was failing math in school and needed a tutor and that she could not afford a tutor. She asked if I would tutor Jo and she would pay me when she got some money. I told her I would tutor Jo for free and I did. The tutoring must have helped because Jo's grade went from an F to a B+. Wanda and Jo were both happy with the results of the tutoring and wanted to take me to dinner to just to say thanks. At the dinner Wanda excused herself to take a cell phone call. When her mom was gone Jo asked me it I thought she was old enough to be allowed to date. I told her that was between her and her mom and I did not have an opinion on that. She then asked me what age I started dating and I told her 15 or 16 years old. Jo asked if I would talk to her mom about her dating. She said her mom greatly respected my opinion and she would listen to me. I don't think I should get into this discussion with Wanda about Jo dating do you? Moms and teen age girls, please let me know what the right thing to do in this situation is. |

Question: A friend betrayed me in the past but wants to make amends? Posted: 24 Feb 2019 08:13 AM PST A friend of mine went to my husband and told him lots of bad things about me in a attempt to break us up. and then she would talk about me to my other friend telling them she hates me. She has now asked me to forgive her. I have done so but I believe maybe deep down she hates me. Should I keep her around. |
Question: Friend assaulted me? Posted: 24 Feb 2019 06:53 AM PST At 18 I had somewhat of a FWB relationship with my 31 year old coworker, but I didn't feel comfortable and he was very pushy. I had absolutely no experience and had never even kissed anybody before him. He asked me to come over one day and if I didn't he said he'd wait for me outside of work, so I went. I told him I was nervous and didn't feel comfortable with this, but he ended up not listening to me, hit me, and didn't stop when I told him he was hurting me. I didn't tell anybody, and I feel absolutely disgusted with myself. I don't know what to think and am very confused. I can't sleep at night and don't want to tell anybody because I brought this on myself and I don't know what to call it. I wanted to see if anybody has any insight... |
Question: Help!!!! My friend is cutting herself and is suicidal!!!!!? Posted: 24 Feb 2019 06:09 AM PST My friend recently told me that she cuts herself and about her past suicide attempts, and that she still wants to die. I don't know how to help her because I'm not in any of her classes anymore and hardly see her. We only like text. I really care about her and don't want to see her do this to herself! How should I help her stop cutting, and not kill herself? (Btw, we're both 15.) |
Question: Should I forgive him? Posted: 24 Feb 2019 06:09 AM PST I was best friends with a guy I used to work with, after I left my job due to assault/harassment from another employee. He helped me through all of that, & he started talking about dating/marrying me. I fell for him but he told me he didn't think he was what I deserved yet, & if he did commit to someone it'd be me. Then he slowly started becoming distant. My parents kicked me out when I told them about our friendship bc he was a bit older. He wasn't thrilled but let me stay with him, yet spent all of his time playing video games with friends than even talking to me. He went out of town to see family & the cops showed to do a welfare check. I went home & all turned around for me. However, a few weeks later the guy who raped me came into my new workplace & told everyone I lost my job bc I had been messing around with the manager (my friend) & that he had me before anybody else, then tried to get me to come outside with him. I told my friend all of this, bc I didn't know if this guy had to do with why he'd dropped me. I found out months later that he'd been going out with the guy who raped me after work, which was a huge slap in the face, & got into a relationship with a girl less than a month after he dropped me. Now I feel strung-along & don't know what to think about our friendship. It's been a year, he recently got off probation & he sent me a chat on Snapchat last week. I don't want to open it, & I'm not sure why he would all of a sudden message me out of nowhere like this. |
Question: Do friends with benefits spend time together outside the bedroom? Posted: 24 Feb 2019 05:58 AM PST So this guy had asked me out on a date. But instead of going I asked him if he wanted to be friends with benefits instead. He said yes and that he had always been into me. So we ended up hooking up but before we had sex we went to the movies out to dinner and to the arcade. And we had fun together but it wasn't just the sex. I mean we actually had a nice time we enjoyed each other's company. We have things in common we like the same movies, food, We spent the night together after we had sex. |
Question: Why my best friend is acting like this ? Posted: 24 Feb 2019 04:56 AM PST I have this friend of 4 years He s really confident about himself, really charming and funny he s like the joker of the group lol Recently i have noticed that he s kind of awkward around me Back in October we and our mutual friends made a halloween party and we had a lot of fun but i noticed that he was quite than usual and he was avoiding my eye contact with him with a sad look in his face ? He kept doing it the whole night whenever i look at him (because he kept staring at me ) he would look a way with a pouty face ? I talked to him in that party and he was kind of awkward and shy ? But after talking to him he felt little conformable and laughed a little bit but then he did the staring thing again but it was different because whenever he avoid it it was with a smile In November we met again with our mutual friends and he did it again I looked at him and he avoid it with a pouty face (he covered his face with his hat and start singing like nothing happened lol) Now he is less awkward whenever i look at him he smile and avoid it but with less awkwardness What does it mean ? |
Question: Should I insist or leave him alone? Posted: 24 Feb 2019 04:04 AM PST Hi guys, So I'm a senior in high school and choosing uni is one of the hardest things that I've ever had to do. I decided to ask my former teacher for advice. He's a great guy and I really like him (as friends of course, we're both straight and he's even married with children). I sent him a message about one month ago and he said he'd help me and that he was pleased to do that. He asked me if it would be better to see each other or talk on the phone, I said I'd prefer meeting in person. He then said he would get organised and he'd let me know. Then he never texted me back. Should I text him again? Maybe he's been busy and he forgot. Or shouldn't I? Maybe he just doesn't want to see me and doesn't want to say it's better to talk on the phone or simply not talk. Anyone, what should I do? |

Posted: 24 Feb 2019 01:57 AM PST Has anyone ever experienced this? I know we shouldn't take things personal. And I accept not everyone will like. I still treat people with kindness until they prove they're not worthy of my time or energy. I don't use my confidence to get my way or be rude or oblivious or anything bad. So what gives?? I'm also a firm believer that the universe tests us so I'm thinking it's that. |

Posted: 23 Feb 2019 10:30 PM PST Okay, so theres this girl named Catherine and she had a falling out with her friend group so she started hanging out with me and my friends. Everything was going smooth until I started to notice that she started to bother me. She always talked about popularity and always wanted to make everything about her. She was ALWAYS with me every second of the day. and the other day I had enough!!! She did my friend so dirty. She was in a partner project with my other friend Lisa and she made her do the project all by herself. Literally did not feel bad about it. She always made up fake excuses to get out of doing the work until the day before it was due, she finally agreed to work on it. BUT SHE MADE UP ANOTHER EXCUSE AND JUST LET MY FRIEND work on it by herself. I am so angry with her. What should I do??? |
Question: Is it friendship ...and is expecting more wrong? Posted: 23 Feb 2019 10:10 PM PST Okay, we met at work, and we are 4 years apart (he's 16 and I'm 20). We have always had this flirty, playful banter. We both push each other's buttons but laugh and play around like this with only each other. He continually holds eye contact when we talk and I've checked..his pupils get dilated for sure. We have broken the touch barrier a few times looking at hand sizes etc. Also, he has told me many stories about his past relationships and has even made comments saying that four years age difference isn't that much (hinting about us I believe), etc. It's obvious he works harder to impress me, and he gets competitive (I am also very competitive haha). We have so many inside jokes at this point and sometimes we will be texting at 2 or 3 am with our silly playful banter. He takes pride in his ability to show me how to do things like solve a rubix cube etc and I have brought him a pick me up when he was feeling sick recently. I have made hints that maybe we should hang out outside of work (it's been awhile since we have- things have come up) and he said he'll see if he can work something out, so there's that. A friend of mine who also works with us says that it appears that we are always flirting with each other and that I need to evaluate our relationship. Do you think that he sees me as more than friends, or is he just having fun at work? And if yes, do you think it's okay to pursue this relationship? I admit I really like him but I would appreciate some outside feedback. |
Question: Do you like to keep to yourself? A loner have only 1 or 2 friends? Posted: 23 Feb 2019 09:49 PM PST I've been on my own now for 2 years. I still get out to bars to see bands or a game on tv. I go to the gym to work out and play basketball. I find having too many friends drama. Yes I had some fake friends in the past. This isn't going to make me make friends again. For now I just like to find a good bar and meet some regs and the bar staff is cool. I'm good with just that. I wouldn't mind dating because then I can meet her friends. That will be a good way to meet people. |

Posted: 23 Feb 2019 07:50 PM PST Picture yourself in this zone: You just have that one guy you try your hardest to get rid off your friends list but then he stalks you to be back on your friends list and you block him on everything after that and the guy you least expect it adds you and him into a group chat and trys to get you to be friends again What would you do to get rid of him again? He's been doing this for 4 months straight I am using discord I sorta solved it myself, until he comes back. I left the group chat, I disabled allow messages from server members, and I deleted the guy who added me in |
Question: What does this mean? Posted: 23 Feb 2019 07:42 PM PST I took a shower, and had to walk out of the bathroom to get clothes to change into. I saw my friend, who was at my house hanging out, and I accidentally dropped my towel. She saw my dick, giggled, and wiggled her pinkie finger. What does it mean when someone wiggles their pinkie? I'm really confused. |
Question: Why would a man try to talk to me? Posted: 23 Feb 2019 07:41 PM PST He had danced with one of our friends in front of me. Then the next day, he spoke to me first after I "ignored" he didn't exist. |
Question: How do you move on from someone who won't stop messaging you? Posted: 23 Feb 2019 07:29 PM PST I have a friend...or ex friend now. She was my best friend for about 6 years. But our friendship became toxic. Even though we loved each other like family, I knew it was time to separate. We'd grown in different directions. I told her this, and we had a talk. We decided it was best not to be friends. I want to move on, but she keeps messaging me and acting like nothing changed. I don't understand. I don't want to talk, but I do at the same time. I feel bad ignoring her or blocking her. But I want to move on. How do I move on and still talk from time to time? Or is that not possible? |
Question: How can I develop relationships with people if I have trust issues? Posted: 23 Feb 2019 07:04 PM PST I want to have friends. However, the thing I see on a daily basis makes me not want to trust anybody. I put a lot of effort into friendships/relationships, and I find that people don't appreciate it. I try to be there for people and do nice things, but I always get put on the back burner and treated as a second option. I'm 20 years old and compared to most people my age, I'm a recluse (not by choice). |
