Question: In desperate need of some serious and wise relationship advice, please and thank you.? Posted: 12 Feb 2019 07:39 PM PST Long story short, but my boyfriend of almost a year broke up with me about a month ago. Things got really rocky in the relationship, we ended up taking space for about a month and then when i reached out he told me he couldn't do it. A little about us, he was always insecure throughout the relationship, he never understood what i saw in him. I lived with him for a bit and that is when we started fighting more often than not, i was dealing with some personal problems at the time and i tend to keep things in, which bothered him why i seemed so reserved and that is when things started escalating. The break up was bad, very bad. We both said things that we regret. Long story short...we ended up texting a few days ago where he apologized for how things got, saying he felt really really bad. I was the one who reached out to him telling him i missed him and wanted to see him. He then proceeded to say that he is afraid to see me because he is scared things would just get emotional. He said he still has feelings for me and doesn't think he will be able to control his desires around me, basically. Losing him made me realize how much he means to me. I told him I think we should give it another try, but he just kept saying he doesn't think he can do it. I am at a loss, it hurts. I then said to just think about it, its been 3 days..and still nothing. Is it over? It just doesnt feel over, I want to keep trying, but don't want to come off as pathetic. Thanks in advance. |
Question: Can we stay together? Posted: 12 Feb 2019 07:36 PM PST My boyfriend and I have been together since the end of freshman year of high school (2 1/2+ years). We both got accepted to the University of Michigan and we both plan to attend, only I am starting this summer at an intensive studies program. I want to know if people usually stay together at college. It probably depends on the situation, but I am scared that I will not make the right choice. I genuinely love him as a person and him being in my life feels so normal. I also know that I will be exposed to more people than I ever have at U of M and so will he. I don't want to go into college thinking that we will get married because what if he meets someone or vice verse? But I don't want to lose him either. Even if we did break up, I would still want him in my life, but I know that he does not take cutting people off lightly. |

Question: I'm 26 he's 54 how old is too old? Posted: 12 Feb 2019 06:41 PM PST Recently a co-worker gave me a gentleman's phone number saying that I had to meet him he was a great guy, I'm successful in my career have my own place and she said we would match up. I did not realize he was much older however we met for coffee, and I was blown away how easily the conversation took off, similar interest in music food even our upbringing. We had a second date and again it was great. I'm worried because I don't want to like him I went on the date out of courtesy and thought I was going to tell him "sorry I'm not interested" but that quickly changed after conversation started. how old is too old should I walk away from the situation? He really seems like a great guy but if he was younger, I would think so sure I found my next relationship. The age Gap is concerning me. What do you think? |
Question: How to I behave at meeting with ex? Posted: 12 Feb 2019 06:36 PM PST Is there anything off limits to talk about? Should I truly express my feelings and ask all the questions I want to know? He maybe with rebound should I discuss that? My ex wants to meet and discuss the breakup and everything that went on. He had paranoia(mental issues) going on. Yet, he still hasn't brought up being back together, I ultimately want to be. |

Question: What type guy wants a woman to be alone? Is it just me or is he playing games? Posted: 12 Feb 2019 06:21 PM PST He ignored me first, when I was sitting in a big empty room with no one to talk to for hours. then started talking to me when I moved up. All of a sudden he ignored me for a month, and wouldn't work by me. He'll stare at me and smile, then later he'll shoots angry pissed off faces at me. Now hes back, and saw that I was lonely and didn't do anything but walk happily around me, like he liked me lonely and sad. Like he was doing in the beginning. What types of guy likes that? What do you mean jealous? Of me? |

Question: Obvious signs a girl likes you? Posted: 12 Feb 2019 06:01 PM PST I feel like there's quite a few girls in my life who are sexually attracted to me but I can't tell for sure. How can I tell for sure |
Question: I like this girl I work with and need some advice as to where to go next? PLEASE HELP!!!? Posted: 12 Feb 2019 05:59 PM PST So I like this girl I work with and I really like talking to her, I make her laugh everyday her and I work together. I don't talk with her outside of work or school and am a really shy guy unless you start up a conversation with me and want to get to know me better. My issue is that I asked her out already and she said no. (that's why I'm here btw) it was over Facebook messenger, and yes we are friends on Facebook. She said ( I appreciate the offer and I think you're a cool guy but I don't like going out with people I work with.) Which I completely understand. I told her that I only work 2 days a week and am in college, and also plan on leaving within the next 3-6 months. She agreed but also said she was having some personal issues and dating someone isn't in the cards for her right now. She said it was cool that I asked her out and no hard feelings would be between us. 2 Questions 1. DO YOU THINK SHE LIKES ME BUT ISNT READY FOR A RELATIONSHIP? 2. Do you think I should remain friends and ask to hang out with her and not think of it as a date, and get to know her better as friends and try again some other time? Or Try to move on. |
Question: I think I just need to hear this answer from someone else? Posted: 12 Feb 2019 05:53 PM PST I've been with my partner for four years and have lived with him almost just as long. He's divorced and has a kid that he doesn't do much with and is rarely over. He doesn't notice or doesn't care about how much I do for him in regards to emotional labor, cleaning the house, and taking car of our pets. He doesn't even do his own laundry. I pay for all the utilities which is more than the house payment(I dont even own this house in the slightest it's totally his) which he pays in addition to aaaall the chores I do solo. He never wants to do anything with me except eat out. I'm incredibly unappreciated and unrespected from my perspective. Ultimately what I'm really struggling with is if I want to stay with him or not. I've never lived totally on my own and breaking up with him would leave me totally alone with the pets dependent on me. I'm not sure I could do it. Another bit is, when I'm with him I forget a lot of the things that irk me to no end or all the bad things he's done. When I'm away from him I get pissed at all the injustice I feel. I definitely feel I care more for him than he does for me. I feel he shames me for wanting to do safe appropriate things like college and friendships since he feels he's too old for them. On a petty note, he's 30 and 300lbs. I'm the only nonrelative/coworker he talks to. I'm 24, 140lbs, sociable and well liked. None of my friends understand why I'm with him and think I could do a lot better. But I loved him once. |
Question: Is this a sign that my best friend is into me? I need to know, it's complicated.? Posted: 12 Feb 2019 05:51 PM PST Long story short, I've been madly in love with my childhood best friend ever since we got re-acquainted a few years ago. She sees me as her best friend, and she does have a boyfriend. Her boyfriend is a great guy but he moved overseas several months ago to sort things out and have her move in with him. The fact that she's moving is killing me since I'm anti social and she's an amazing person who accepts me the way I am. As a way to cope, I've been hanging out with her as much as possible before she moves away. She's a hugger, and she won't hesitate to randomly hug the breath out of you, however last night we went out to the countryside too take pictures of the sunset, and we ended up tickling each other intensely (don't ask why) and it turned into snuggling and rolling around on the grass till 1 am. Then we went to her place and slept till morning and spent most of the day on the bedroom floor wrestling, intensely holding hands and whispering into our ears as well as laying on top of each other. Not to mention biting, and other such activities... I don't have any hopes that I'll get her to fall in love with me but for my own closure, I need to know if she might have the slightest love-oriented feelings for me. Especially since we've been talking a lot about our individual relationship struggles and problems. Thanks for any help |

Question: Why is this Girl treating me like this (Mix Signals) ?!?!? Posted: 12 Feb 2019 05:37 PM PST I have a friend/love Intrest, this Girl is also at my job, we are both in our late teens, she's cute, nice, and sweet, with a egde, she's gives me mixed signs, I'm too shy make a move myself, but I'm always being extra kind to her, I been playing it cool, I added her on my FB, I started messaging, and I thought the feeling was mutual, I try to add on PSN, then I looked on FB, and found out she's blocked, I was hurt, it really got to me, so I decided to keep my feelings lowkey, and just keep it simple when I see her, Hi and Bye, but being the person I am, I couldn't help but some short conversation with her, I only speak in reply to her, I just wanna give her the cold shoulder, but without saying "F*$k you" boldly, but for some reason, she's always really friendly, and flirty to me, but She even notice, in my facial expressions, I'm not to happy with her, I just want to why she act this way, why does she's treat me like this, could it be because we're different races, and she's somewhat hesitant, what do you think, people, I need the answers 🤔🤔🤔 |
Question: Why do kids start dating so young these days? Posted: 12 Feb 2019 05:35 PM PST I'm 17 never had a GF. I've liked girls since first grade when I learned about sex. But I've never done much towards getting a GF in the past ten years because I don't know what to do. But then now kids as young as ten are dating?! But on average by 13 everyone seems to have started dating. Why do they start so early but I couldn't manage to do that? |
Question: Why would she show up very early and walk by a lot? Posted: 12 Feb 2019 05:22 PM PST have known this girl for a few years and early on she tried to get my attention and acted flirty. Like she blushed around me and got red couldnt look me in the eyes. She couldnt even say hi first and when I did first blushd and smiled. She got giggly and laughed at all my jokes. Found any excuse to be around me, get close as possible and talk to me. Could only approach me with her friend besides her. Her friend couldn't talk to me. Well her bFF looked at her when I entered a room and said her name, friends would tease. Her BFF helped her approach me.Stared @ me in school. A teacher she talked to told me she talked about me. Well her friends stare at me when they see me around town. Then like family members noticed me like her cousins and they stare at me. I see her around town he places herself in spots she can c me and Ill see her.Well her and her mom have done mean stuff on my fb like they unliked a picture announcing my dads death when I blew her off. Then her mom removed my dad on facebook. Shes done dumb stuff like that. Well I go to the same college as her and she saw me in a class that is her next class. She walked in and saw me then sat down and stared at me for a few seconds. She showed up on time but after that. She shows up 30 minutes early before everyone else and then walk by the room looking in and then walks by the door when its open. She walks by at least 4x then stands in the threshold and then waits outside for when I walk out. She doesnt have her friends |

Question: When do you know it’s time to stop pursing? Posted: 12 Feb 2019 05:11 PM PST I'm 24 and she is 27, we are in the same grad school program where we first met. I ended up asking her out and she said yes. We have went on 2 solid dates so far and after the 2nd one she said she "wanted to plan" the next one. Since that's date, we have had no contact at all. Usually we tag eachother in stuff or text a little something but nothing in 5 days. So my question are: 1. When do you know to stop pursing 2. How to handle being ghosted 3. Do you think she said "plan the next one" so she wouldn't have to actually be asked to go on another one? Any thoughts would be good, thanks |
Question: Spending Valentine's Day alone the last past decade? Posted: 12 Feb 2019 05:10 PM PST Never had the privilege of going out with a guy - on a date wise , romance wise,or anything like that....what to do ? Feels like another day on the calendar.. |
Posted: 12 Feb 2019 05:05 PM PST Obviously not all girls are attracted to this, but I'm 18, have never done anything romantic with a girl, and have almost always been rejected. I'm kind, but not a pushover and I stand up for myself and others, funny, intelligent, laid back, a guy with interests, handsome (LOL), and would maybe even characterize myself as an old soul. I understand that it's a thing that lots of girls, especially ones my age, are interested in the (stereotypical) "bad-boy" type, but that just simply isn't me. Am I going to have to wait until I'm older just to have anything romantic with a girl (or at least have it be easier to have romance with a girl) because at the moment (and I've been in a lot of different social circles, consisting mostly of girls actually, so that's not what the problem is) I have almost never come across any girls that are not into that and who dislike drama and trying to change someone (which is what lots want to do with bad-boys). |
Posted: 12 Feb 2019 05:02 PM PST So my boyfriend and I only use condoms as our only form of contraceptive as of right now. Today the condom broke for the first time, although he wasn't inside me and he was no where near to being close to finishing, he was rubbing it against me, so I'm still pretty worried! We really cannot have kids right now. Also (idk if it would be significant information or not but), my day of ovulation isn't until a week from today at the least ... Any help is appreciated! |

Question: What does it mean if a woman acts like this? Posted: 12 Feb 2019 04:51 PM PST This woman saw me for the first time in a gas station. Well she looked up and made eye contact with me. She was with a friend I think. Well then I noticed she was staring at me from a farther distance when I wasn't looking and when I caught her held eye contact and continued but from a distance. She was ahead of me in line. Then looked back at me. It was a short period of time, a matter of minutes and did it multiple times. Now she works at a restaurant in my college and she often rings me up for everyone else (well it's her job), she rang me up to compliment my shirt and start talking to me and I got an awkward vibe but she smiled the whole time while talking to me |

Question: Would this be patronizing or condescending? Posted: 12 Feb 2019 04:25 PM PST Scenario: Noah harshly criticizes Karen all because she forgot a small thing that could make a huge difference. She asks him if he has any consideration of others' feelings and simply tells him that what he said wasn't nice. He replies that he does and rudely tells her something that she already knows. Then he goes to Doug who's next above them in hierarchy to complain about her. Then Doug goes up Karen, telling her to calm down, that Noah wasn't trying to hurt her feelings, and that people need to be careful. Would that be patronizing of Doug to say/do that? Doug is their authority. |

Question: Guy refuses my friendship if I won't have sex with him...is this ridiculous or what? Posted: 12 Feb 2019 04:21 PM PST Long story short: I've literally known this guy for 15-16 years or so. I'm 28, he's almost 30. He was a friend of my brother's. Back in October 2016, WE became friends and later, in March 2017, we became FWB. We only had sex 5 times between March 2017-April 2018. The 2nd to last time, the condom broke (I got Plan B) and he forced me to get tested with him. We both came back clean, but he was convinced I still messed around with somebody else other than him (I hadn't, not since my ex who I last slept with in June 2016). Fast forward to now: last May, I made the decision not to sleep with anybody else that I wasn't married to. Not long after, I met a man who understood and agrees with my decision and respects it. We've been engaged for a little over a week. My friend doesn't think we can be friends anymore because I won't cheat on my fiancé with him. He's like "we're causing each other more pain than we need", which isn't true because I am over him. He never even liked me that way until he knew I was no longer available to him. Now he acts like he has feelings for me. Isn't it ridiculous that he thinks we can't be platonic friends now that I'm engaged? Before we started having sex, we literally talked every day and I helped him through his panic attacks and gave him advice, etc. Sex kind of ruined whatever friendship we had before. Anonymous, you are Anonymous as well. Ironic, no? This isn't a troll question. God forbid I don't want people knowing my identity!!! The only pain he's feeling is that I won't have sex with him anymore. Why confused, kylie? |

Question: Could be be interested? Posted: 12 Feb 2019 04:16 PM PST So I'm pretty much into this guy at first I didn't see anything about him but now I'm like head over heelss..Well We work st McDonald's together he's 17 I'm 18 I noticed one day he kept looking at me and Even now I always catch him looking at me sometimes with a blank stare sometimes with a smile. But then one time I touched his arm trying to flirt and he just said "what was that for"in a kinda serious tone and I'm like what? And he's like I don't know and thanks I don't know I just get a weird vibe but at the same time why would he like me?You know ?Please I just need some advice.. |

Question: Bf made me cry - what do I do? Posted: 12 Feb 2019 03:37 PM PST My bf and I got in an argument last night. He started listing all the things he doesn't like about me, all the areas he feels I am inadequate / not trying hard enough, then said he doesn't think I'd make a good sexual partner in marriage (we've not had sex yet, we're both waiting for marriage). Some things he's done have hurt me. This is not intentionally like hitting but just walking and holding my hand too tight or sitting down together and I ask him to readjust because the angle is uncomfortable. Anyway, he says I have a low pain tolerance and something's wrong me with like I have a disability. Says he is concerned I won't be able to have sex one day in marriage because I'm so sensitive and will probably find it painful. He says all these things and I start crying. He tries to give me a hug and later says he's sorry and my feelings are irrational and I should just move on and brush the conversation off. I don't know what to do or think. This guy for 10 months has been wonderful but now I am questioning everything. |
Question: The guy never will be with me ? Posted: 12 Feb 2019 03:19 PM PST So I'm in love with a guy that is not in love with me . He really is not into being with heavy set girl , he will come see me and be my friends and even have sex with me when I asked. I know it's not right , but I keep trying to make him see that I love him. I end up moving 4 hours from him to get him out my mind. It seems like all I do now is text him and express my heart he ignores it . I never been to his new place so I googled his info and sent him a gift . He doesn't know exactly who it came from no address is on it . I bought it off line . I'm not sure if I should say something. I just like chasing guys I want . Guys hit on me all the time. Question: Should I send my ex boyfriend a memorial necklace for his dad? Posted: 12 Feb 2019 02:59 PM PST So my boyfriend broke up with me in December. His way of breaking up was not saying anything to me for a week. He did apologize for it and we talked a little bit again in January. He even said he would take me out for my 21st birthday (in January) but ended up not even telling me happy birthday. I haven't talked to him since. His dad passed away February 20th 2018 and so this month marks the one year of his passing. I know my ex is having a hard time with it. When we were together I gave him a cross of his dad in October. I'm wondering if sending a memory necklace of his dad would make me look crazy? Would it be weird? I think it would make him happy but honestly I'm not sure how much he'd actually appreciate it. I feel like how things ended and how he treated me I shouldn't send anything at all. But a part of me wants to send it because I know he's hurting and I can't imagine losing my dad and not having anyone care. My thing is, I just don't want him to know *I* sent it. I think it would be better if he didn't know it was from me. But I'm sure he'll figure it out anyway and I can just play dumb until he stops talking to me again. But I don't know if I should ask his mom if it would be ok or not. Would it look weird? Would it be offensive? Last thing I wanna do, is make a fool out of myself again in front of him and his family for literally just showing that I care. Thank you for your time |

Question: Why do ex girlfriends tend to hold grudges longer than ex boyfriends? Posted: 12 Feb 2019 02:45 PM PST For example, a guy breaks up with a girl and she hates him for the rest of her life and wishes him to burn in hell for eternity and hates all of his girlfriends/wife he later dates or gets married to. But A girl breaks up with a guy and he hates her for 6 months and moves on and doesn't hold a grudge at all and wishes the best for her and would even go to her wedding |
Question: Ex grlfriend apologized after 5 years and i messed up? Posted: 12 Feb 2019 02:35 PM PST my ex contacted me and apologized for her behavior. i started talking to her for few days but then i told her we are grown up i want to start a new page with you. she said I STOPPED DATING I AM FOCUSING ON WORK. i respected the( pretended) few days later i called her up i said i want to meet you one last time and i cannot be friends with you cause i still love you. next day i texted her that i want you in my life even as just friends cause when you apologized my mind went crazy thats why i acted irrational. she said i did not freak out and i'll see when i'll be free to have a drink. ever since she's been SO COLD when she's talking to me just agreeing to what i'm saying without any argument or anything to start a conversation. not sure what i'm supposed to do! she was the best girl i've been in relation with I broke up with her |
Posted: 12 Feb 2019 02:33 PM PST My man and I have been together a year. He is 50 and I am 33 and he s very sexual guy . He likes to have sex everyday sometimes 2 times a day and I m ok with this unless I m sore or somthing , but I ve only initiated sex literally 4 times in our relationship and all 4 times he s turned me down . I never try anymore but I m baffled because he seems so heavily attracted to me sexually obviously I thought since he doesn t seem to get tired of sex , but yet he completely rejects me the few times I ve tried to initiate . Does this mean maybe he s one of those men who just really like a woman to be submissive 100 percent of the time ? It s the only reason I could think of but are there other reasons ? Just trying to get educated . I asked him myself and he just said , well I m just tired or somthing usually when you come on to me . I don t know it just sounded like a weak response . |
