He's constantly showing family his writing. He wrote something the other day where he included his 3 year old sister in the story about how he and her were attacked by a group of people. In the story, he has her escape, but then the story gets more twisted because he has himself tied and beaten by these intruders who proceed to sacrifice him. His other stories always include him, his sister, and the rest of his family as vampires. He doesn't write anything perverted, but there's always some form of violence. Is this just a phase or is this something he needs mental help with?

My mother is Asian American from a Chinese background. My father is a White American with German and Scottish ancestry. I only have 1 sister. a little background a couple months ago(before Halloween) I broke up with my year long girlfriend. She was very abusive both physically and mentally(my mom knows about that) but I don't know how to tell her I was pin down and force fingered. I have become very distant from my family. I know my parents love me and maybe I am just over exaggerating but this is how I feel. I don't like to be around my mother. She is constantly in a bad mood and can get upset over the smallest thing. She can be very judgmental and will sometimes laugh at even though I tell her to stop. My dad does try to talk to me but I've learned that he doesn't actually want me to respond. He will give me long speeches about how important it is to eat salad (I'm not making this up) or how dangerous the world is. For several years I went through some hard times and felt alone but now it's all better and I feel more self-reliant so I don't need anybody anyway. I have my own checking account but it's on with the same bank that my mother uses. She always tells me buy on the credit card so that she can get points (we both have the same credit card account) But I never do, I always use my debit card. I do this Because I don't want her to see what i'm buying. I wonder do i subconsciously resent her because she's still living in my house at 26, not only that but she doesn't know how to drive and I have to drive her to work. My daughter never learned how to drive, we tried to teach her when she was younger but she was always so scared so we just gave up trying to teach her. her boyfriend takes her everywhere else, however, I have to take her to work and sometimes pick her up from work. Long story short my boyfriend's mom mailed him a check and used my mailing address. I am very generous to her and his family when I visit them over seas and when they visit us here. I'm a 16 year old girl in grade 10 My step mom wants my dad and I to go visit her mom in a few weeks. Issue is I don't want to. I don't really know her mom well. He goes through all my stuff while I am at school. He even attempted to go through my laptop. I started noticing after my laptop was no longer on my desk when I got home from school but on my tv stand. I put it inside hibernation instead of shutting it down fully so I could resume the youtube video I was watching the night before. Along with that, my notebook looked out of place with some other things. He does not let me have friends without him knowing so he can meet them and do background research about them and their family along with the public criminal background. He will not let me be friends with there kids if they have so much as a very old speeding ticket 8 years ago.

He is 66 and highly obsessed on his work to the point that his passion is a deep seated obsession he has. He has hurt my mother frequently with this as he loves his work more then her (so she feels). Meanwhile, I have noticed this obsession has gotten to where he has stopped listening. If I ask 5 important planning questions in an email he only answers 2. He never replies to texts even when away from work so it is not that he is too busy. My mother meanwhile has a deep seated obsession from some sort of sick desire to fix up houses and then sell them. It possesses her like a demon possession. Not sure if this is what has passed to my Dad with his work possessiveness and obsession. Neither is OCD so they do not have an excuse for their sickening behavior and immaturity. So how do I address this to him respectfully? It is not a recognized mental illness so an intervention would not be possible.

A little background Info. So my girlfriend(now fiance) and I have been together for 8 years now. We have a 2 year old and another one on the way. So like the question says, she recently opened the IG account and I see that she's ALWAYS liking her guy friends pictures even though I've talked to her about how much I don't like it. Her defense is that 1. That's what IG is all about. And 2. That there is no bad Intention behind it. Now I believe what she tells me, I'm not accusing her of anything.
