Question: Is it horrible my boyfriend has never really gotten me anything ? Posted: 26 Feb 2019 06:55 PM PST First off we've been together for 6 years and he's 40 years old. I realized he's never really gone out of his way for me even when we first dated to show 'hey, I put a lot of effort doing something special for you.' 'A nice dinner' or a special thing planned- I have bought him always gifts because I like to give gifts and that's how I show appreciation. However, The more time I spend with him I feel he is so cheap with me. I had to pay for my own flight ticket to visit his family which was so expensive, I haven't received a holiday gift in 3 years because he thinks it's all a conspiracy. We've only been to two places together for vacation a casino and his family's place, no short trips or adventures. He claims he wants to be with me forever but I know he would never buy a ring or something because he is broke. He would say his words are 'enough' in front of his family. I realized every birthday he buys the same gift me Like there's never any consideration for me when I look at other woman and how their husbands/boyfriends trip them.I am really down to earth but I just feel like this is a little cheap. |
Question: Why hasn't he said anything? Posted: 26 Feb 2019 06:17 PM PST Long story short: I've known my friend since June 2016 and we've been friends since March 2017. We used to be a lot closer, but we still have a pretty good bond when we actually get to see each other. He's married, has a family. He's been married for many years, as he's 11 years older than me. I know his family pretty well and I love them and they love me. Ever since I got with my now-fiancé, my friend has been sort of distant. He didn't even wish me a happy birthday last month, although he did the year before with a long wall post on FB and the year before when we worked together. It made no sense why he wouldn't say it this year. He's tried to get to know my fiancé a tiny bit, but not much. My fiancé doesn't even like my friend much because he's jealous of his success and he thinks we flirt, even though I don't notice it myself. When we got engaged, my friend never even acknowledged it, although his wife congratulated us and I know he knows about it. I saw him 2 weeks ago (not long after I got engaged) and my fiancé and I were talking to him and I saw him looking down at my engagement ring, but he still didn't say a word. Why hasn't he said anything? Is it normal for guys to not congratulate their female friends when they get engaged? See, I don't know. I often post Facebook statuses about how wonderful my fiancé is and the other night, I noticed my friend posted this long status about how wonderful his wife is and I admit, I kind of got jealous myself. |

Posted: 26 Feb 2019 05:42 PM PST My husband and I haven't been married long just 2 months, he actually saved himself for me. But we had sex twice with a ten minute break in between, he actually got more aggressive the second time around but when he finished he just went to sleep. That's never happened before, he usually whispers sweet nothings in my ear after sex telling me how much he loves me. But tonight he just fell asleep. Does this mean I was good? He's 7 yrs younger than me so you'd think he'd have more energy |

Question: How do I best approach this child custody issue? Posted: 26 Feb 2019 04:14 PM PST My ex wife and I divorced in 2010 and she disappeared for lengths of time after the judge granted joint custody. She's literally had the kids maybe a total months time over the course of the last 9 years and apparently had been claiming one of them through social services to collect welfare and cash aid. . Now the county is coming after me for child support and my kids have been with me this whole time.....I'm severely stressed as what's being proposed for me to pay would cripple me financially, how can I fight this? |
Posted: 26 Feb 2019 02:30 PM PST I think this is full crap. His mother does things with his brothers wife. She never ask me if I would come too. His brothers wife is a Lazy whale she never helped our mom in law in household or anything. (She used to live with them) she even dont work. And there is me, Always caring and helping, But she is the fave one i think. (My family doesnt like my hubby, They think I can get someone better) They never said it like that But I see their action... not Looking for us.. not supporting me. But I think They just Need to support me. They dont even do. Nothing wrong with my hubby tho. Help me out?! How to handle this? |
Question: What age did you meet your husband? Posted: 26 Feb 2019 01:39 PM PST Some encouraging stories would be appreciated |
Posted: 26 Feb 2019 01:11 PM PST I am 45. I have 2 children from a previous marriage. My husband is 54 and has 3 kids from previous marriage and 1 from an open adoption from 30 years ago. I have been desperately been wanting to have 1 child with my husband. He knows that I have wanted one. He then told me that he didn't want anymore, but left it up to God to bless us with one. We have never used protection per my husband. Which gave me the indication that he was open to having a child with me. I became pregnant 10 years ago and then miscarried at 1-1/2 months. He didn't know until recently. He didn't show any support or remorse. I know we are older, but I still desperately want a child with him. He doesn't as he says he is too old and doesn't want our child to look at us as grandparents instead of parents because of our age. He would rather watch the other kids grow (they are all over age of 20) and have their own. I feel so cheated as he left the door cracked open for a chance for us to have a child together. No protection being used. I have asked to make it not possible to become pregnant at all, but he still refuses using protection. I wish I could get him to understand why I want a child with him and only one. I don't want to be selfish or pushy, but I love him so much and I want a part of me and him on a human being to raise and love together. I want to share the experience with him. I love being a Mom. I want to be a mother to our child. |
Question: How do I tell my husband that I did this behind his back? Posted: 26 Feb 2019 09:11 AM PST My husband and I have been married for 2 years now and three years altogether and he has a daughter from a previous marriage and her name is Kelly. Now, I love Kelly but when I look at her face I cant help but notice she has none of my husband's features. (She's 5) now I got skeptical about this so I snuck and got DNA from each of them. and the results say he's not the father. How do I tell my husband about this? I try to love Kelly however I cant help but feel jealous and resentful because I want our child to be OUR child. But I got the results and I want to show him so we can just move on with our lives. How do I tell my husband about this? I know he will be upset but what's an easy way of doing it? |
Question: Is it okay for me and my wife to have sex "using protection" After we already have kids? Posted: 26 Feb 2019 07:53 AM PST we just like having sex it fells good. and we dont really want to stop just because we have kids. |
Posted: 26 Feb 2019 07:46 AM PST My husbands (55 years od age) long lost daughter that was put up for open adoption 30 years ago recently found him through one of his sons online. They first had phone contact a month and a half ago. They talk to each other almost everyday via phone only when both spouses are not around and it concerns me. I have talked to both about it and they said they understand, but still continue. It makes me feel like she is "the other woman" instead of his daughter. He has no problem talking to other kids when I am around. Why different with her? I am starting to become jealous, which is normal, but concerned at the same time. I would think that they would have no problem talking to each other when either spouse is present so that way they are involved and getting to know each other as well. They also text privately and secretly as well. I have to ask my husband questions about her and her family and when I do, he gets uptight and defensive. I don't get it. What can I do to get them to understand? I have tried talking to them, but no result. Should I go with my gut feeling and be concerned? |

Question: Is it cheating if my best friend and I had a "moment" ? Both men? Posted: 25 Feb 2019 11:45 PM PST I'm currently married and my best friend and I were hanging out and he told me he's engaged and I was so happy for him that I hugged and tried to kiss him on the cheek and he didn't expect the kiss so our lips touched and it lasted more than 10 seconds and we laughed and considered it a "bro kiss" since women have they're own versions of kissing. Do I tell my wife about this? |
