Question: Is it normal for a man to want a better woman when he thinks he's become more succesful? Posted: 27 Feb 2019 09:05 PM PST I work with this guy I'm 22 he's 30. He's married to a woman thats 28 I think. I'm not trying to be rude about her at all but she's not all that pretty she's more on the "ugly" side. Now I was surprised she was this guys wife because he's cute but I saw a pic of him back when they first got married and I see how they ended up together... since then he's gotten way better looking and a lot of promotions so more $ more power etc. So, I work with this guy we had a work flirtation going on and nothing crazy but we physically "flirty" I guess you could say. I found out he was married and it made me a little sick inside. I guess now I'm just wondering if thats how men are? I want to get married and everything, and to be real i thought I would have loved to marry someone like him but do guys do that? Take a few steps up in life and just drop the woman who's been with them when it wasn't so good or think its okay to act that way when they know they have a wife at home? Like is that actually a normal thing? |
Question: Some girl was annoyed because I called her madam instead of miss? Posted: 27 Feb 2019 08:26 PM PST I didn't know whatever she was married or not. It was an honest mistake. My question is why was she annoyed? |
Question: Pregnant by sugar daddy...? Posted: 27 Feb 2019 08:06 PM PST I'm 20 years old and I've been with my suger daddy for a year (he's 43) and I'm 20 weeks pregnant with his twins and wants to start a relationship BUT he's still married and his wife or kids dosnt know about me yet! (I graduated high school with his son) Should I tell them or wait for him? |
Question: Why would he block me all of the sudden? Posted: 27 Feb 2019 07:09 PM PST He called me last night while I was sleeping to say 'I love you.' I thought it was very sweet as he hasn't said it in the longest to me as he's been mad that we haven't moved in together and he keeps claiming 'we aren't together.' Today he saw me at work and I explained I was going to the gym. He just rolled his eyes at me and said 'you're always distracting yourself from your reality with your job and your work.' I have an important race in two months which I have been wanting to do and finally qualified for. He thinks I don't focus enough time on our relationship in the sense I don't have a long term plan mapped out of us. I don't even know where to begin with him. Now I called him after the gym and he's blocked me on everything. It's causing me to panic and freak out. We've been together for 6 years and I was going to suggest he moves in, but now he's punishing me for going to the gym, something I love to do after work. It's the only thing that makes me happy at this point and is not forcing me to drink. Please help. |
Question: Possibly Loosing interest ? Posted: 27 Feb 2019 05:45 PM PST My boyfriend and I have been together for a couple of years now . I love him but I feel like we are at different stages in our life . I'm a little older than he is. im almost 30 and I feel like im running out of time to get married and start a family. I'm terrified that I might be wasting my time because I've brought up marriage a few times and he says he someday wants to get married to "somebody". I dont want to get married just to get married but I'm starting to really get hurt wondering what is wrong with me I have a good job and I have my own house and vehicle and pay all of my bills .so I feel like I'm at a good point in my life to settle down.i really get jealous of everyone that's married or has kids .like what is wrong with me ? I just feel like I'm losing interest in him because I feel like I'm not good enough for him to marry . I feel like we have been together long enough to atleast start talking about a future together . Advice??? |
Question: What to do about teenage daughter, caught in compromising position? Posted: 27 Feb 2019 02:58 PM PST My husband walked in the family room the other evening and saw our daughter with her boyfriend lying on the sofa, with their hands inside each others' clothes. He feels certain that they are having oral sex. (She's almost 17, and has been together with her boyfriend 9 months.) She and I have a close relationship, and I trust her. My husband on the other hand is in a panic. Thoughts, anyone? |
Question: Is this a sexist mindset? Posted: 27 Feb 2019 02:18 PM PST Over the years my wife and I like taking road trips. We typically always drive my car. In the past 15 years I can think of maybe twice where we took her car on a road trip. And typically I'm the one doing all the driving. Anytime we go pick up my daughter from college 3 hours away I drive. My wife usually sits in the passenger seat and plays on Facebook or streams Netflix. Well, my daughter is graduating college in May. Our niece, my wife's sister's daughter, is also graduating college the very next week. My daughter is 3 hours away and my niece if only 1.5 hours away. I told my wife today that she needed to get her car road ready because I wanted to take her car to our niece's graduation as to not put so many miles on mine. She said ok, but I was still going to do the driving. I asked her why is it that I can't be chauffeured on this trip and she do the driving? She told me basically that that's not how it goes. Is this a sexist mindset? I've put so many miles on my car and did all the driving but now that I suggest we use her car for this short trip she still expects me to do all the driving. Am I wrong? |

Question: Would you take a huge pay cut for your wife? Posted: 27 Feb 2019 01:21 PM PST My wife has landed her dream job in another part of the state we would have to relocate. In order to move I would have to take a 21,000 pay cut in my job until my current position was to open up again or something close to it where we are looking to relocate to. Financially I'd be taking a huge hit. My wife is currently unemployed so combined income between the two of us we'd be bringing in about 11000 more then what I currently bring in by myself alone. She's always wanted this job for many years. I want to be a support to my wife and I know she's wanted this for many years but a 21000 pay cut is really a huge hit. Eventually a position would open up with what I currently do it just could take some time. Would you take a pay cut if it meant your wife would be happier and more fulfilled? |
Question: Why can't my wife take responsibility for her part in our problems? Posted: 27 Feb 2019 09:47 AM PST My wife and I have been having problems for some time... So about a month ago, i was away for work... Well my wife decided to surprise me and found me with another woman... Now, I admit, I was an idiot, and that was my fault and horrible... So we decided to take a break... Well, I returned home about a week later and apologized... Now again, I know I was wrong and selfish, but she never admits to her role in causing problems to our marriage or being selfish herself, like she ain't never done nothing wrong... So I reminded her about that time a few months ago, that she woke up during the night drank up all the milk, and then when I got up to have my frosted flakes there was none left! Then she brought up again that I cheated... So I'm a cheater, but she can just drink up all the milk, like it's nothing. At least I admitted my mistake and took responsibility for it! Until she admits her selfish & wrong ways, I don't know how to fix it... I mean, am I really wrong here? |

Question: Engaged, fiance wants to rush wedding? Posted: 27 Feb 2019 12:45 AM PST To clarify, both my fiance and I love each other & want the same thing (marriage) but at different timeframes. I'm in my late 20's, an ideal age for marriage. But at a time I should be settling down I'm still struggling to establish myself in life. He's still with his parents too. As a late bloomer raised by an overprotective parent I missed out on a lot that I'm trying to catch up on (establishing independence etc.) My fiance knew ALL of this before he proposed recently, I said yes because he proposed before a crowd of ppl and promised he would support & be patient during our engagement while I got my life in order. But now his tone has changed and he keeps throwing out hints like 'making promises you can't keep' and how its taking too long. We've already talked this over but he's still throwing out hints. Though I feel pressured I love him, what to do? @Kevin K. He proposed before a crowd off ppl and had someone record, I always imagined he would propose in a private setting @sheloves_dablues True, but what if your partner isn't supportive of key goals you want to achieve? Sometimes he can be just as overprotective as my parent who stifled me all my life. I want my own place and to experience living alone temporarily before we marry, that's what I mean by 'independence'. We discussed this BEFORE he proposed & he was ok with it at first |
Question: Is he rude or just jealous? Posted: 26 Feb 2019 11:45 PM PST I've been divorced from my ex-husband for 16 years now. I told ex-husband recently that I would very much like to meet someone and marry. He retorted with saying "and I would like to win the lottery." Is he rude or just jealous? He also showed me his will and said our kids would be getting things. Is this to get under my skin? |
Question: How to comfort your wife when she's upset ? Posted: 26 Feb 2019 03:19 PM PST Me and my wife went on a trip with her youth group today this group is for kids and adults with mental disabilities she got mad at one of the other kids because someone kept telling her that Queen broke up she really loves us so she got upset over it if someone says they don't like something she likes or if a band broke up she likes or a show got canceled she likes that's not true she gets upset. We did break up for a while after Freddie passed but we're back together now I told her to just ignore him because she has had a rough weekend she doesn't feel like hearing about stuff like that or arguing with people. I told her to just listen to our music which makes her better it sounded like he was mad because his favorite basketball team had lost or something had happen to him. We were just on the Oscars performing the other night also we're doing a Bohemian Rhapsody tour this summer so we are back together sounded like this kid didn't know what he was talking about. We just got home she's still kind of upset over it. I asked her if she wanted to watch Bohemian Rhapsody she said she doesn't feel like it she must be getting sick. She said that the guy told her " Queen broke up your just gonna have to learn how to deal with it ". It sounded like he was pissed off. She's not the kind of girl to threaten or argue with someone if someone or something upsets her sometimes she just ignores it or let's it go. How can I help her feel better ? |
Question: Is it OK to cry in front of your wife ? Posted: 25 Feb 2019 07:22 PM PST I was thinking about my ex fiancée and my daughter who passed away about 10 years ago. My exfiancée was pregnant with our daughter when she died she had the flu really bad I never told anyone this not even my best friend or my current wife. I never thought I had to go through all this again now I am 10 years later with my wife because her cousin recently passed away from the same thing but she had a bad heart condition they didn't know if it was the flu or cardiac arrest that killed her. Me and my wife have a daughter who's almost 2 months old she doesn't know she has an older sister in heaven or a brother me and my wife tried to have a baby 2 years ago but she had a miscarriage at 5 months. I never thought about my fiancée and other daughter until now. My daughter who passed never even had the chance at life even though I never met her I still love her I know I'll meet her one day. Thinking about it makes me really sad I feel like it's my fault since I got her pregnant then they both died I bet my cousin is probably feeling the same. I know how he feels right now. Is it OK to cry in front of her ? Should I tell her about it ? |
