Question: I need help telling my friend she deserves better? Posted: 25 Feb 2019 05:13 PM PST My friend just turned 18, her and her parents aren't on good terms. The biggest issue is that they hate her boyfriend. One day he came over and they found out he was at their house, unsupervised. The had a huge fight and she decided she was moving out. She works mostly full time as she goes to school so she has the cash. She wants move out so she can be w/ her boyfriend more. But, It makes no sense. He is literally 3-4 inches, he has a sour attitude, he doesn't even work. He doesn't even go down on her. It's not worth it at all. How do I convince her not to move just for him? |
Question: Why do people want to be like everyone else? Posted: 25 Feb 2019 04:57 PM PST I don't want to be like everyone else. I am individual I am unique I am proud of not being you or who you want me to be. I don't need no magazine to tell me who to be. I don't need no beat to tell me how to move my feet. I don't need what's popular to know what's right from wrong. |
Question: Why did this guy unfriend me on snapchat? Posted: 25 Feb 2019 04:46 PM PST a couple weeks ago i started talking to this dude on snapchat (in a friendly, non romantic way) and it was fine. we talked for about three days and eventually stopped talking and honestly everything was fine. Now out of nowhere today, we snapchatted me asking to send him a picture of my face, so i sent him a picture of my face that i would normally send someone in a snapchat conversation. he opened it and then unfriended me. what is he going to do with that picture?? it's literally just me smiling and there's already pictures of me on the internet? and why did he unfriend me?? also: He had seen my face before so that's why it was weird |
Question: What is the best way to make new friends? Posted: 25 Feb 2019 04:34 PM PST |
Posted: 25 Feb 2019 03:53 PM PST I am at a friend of a friend s. He has a collection of those brain teaser puzzles that are supposed to be as much a puzzle to take apart as they are to put together. I took one apart, keeping track of what went where. Then a part of my brain thought it would be a good idea to shuffle the pieces up and I m staring at them freaking out about what I ve just done. He mentioned to my friend that he doesn t know how to put them together, and I don t know the brand! He had them as like... An artistic display! We aren t staying for long! What are my responsibilities here? |
Question: High school drama please help :(? Posted: 25 Feb 2019 03:50 PM PST There's this senior I'm on the same ensemble as. I've practiced a lot to get the spot, and as a result I've become better and have been given the the first part and more leadership roles than her, despite her seniority over me. And she got upset about it. At one point she started completely ignoring me and it was beginning to affect our performance. I confronted her about it and she pretended she just hadn't hear me when I had asked her questions and needed her help. Of course I was upset about it, and talked to my friends. They tried to cheer me up and tell me she's not worth getting upset over because she was just being conceited and jealous. This was about a month ago, and at the time there had been someone who had overheard our conversation, but I didn't think too much about it because he seemed really chill and didn't seem like the kind of person to snitch. Well I was wrong. Fast forward a month and a half, one of my other friends told me that she was telling them someone said I called her conceited. Just when we were finally on okay terms again. We've clashed before. A lot. Over the dumbest things and I can't confront her about this because the person who told me about the whole incident would be affected. I don't really know what to do because it gives me anxiety to know that every day at practice she might blow up at me, but at the same time I can't talk to her about it. Any suggestions on what I should do? I can't talk to her about it because she'll know who told me, and then proceed to get mad at him. I'd rather not do that since he already risked his friendship with her in order to let me know she's upset Honestly, I wish the drama would stop too. I've had enough this year to last me the next two years of hs |

Question: Are my friends trying to leave me out, or am I just being jealous? Posted: 25 Feb 2019 03:30 PM PST For some background... 3guys and I met during freshman year of college. Friend A, friend B, and friend C. We became close, and we'd hang out pretty often and go on trips to cities and stuff. But early on, B and I were closer, but whenever all of us would hang out, A and B would walk faster and ahead of us (me and friend C) and so we'd have our own mini conversations because of our personalities. A and B personalities go well together, as do mine and C's. Anyway, B and I roomed together last year, but it wasn't so great. I was going through a lot and kept it bottled up and got depressed, and I think friend B thought I was ignoring him and didn't like him. I didn't tell him about it until this year. After that year, friend B and A decided they'd room together for this year. So friend C and I decided to room together this year. Over this school year, it's become kinda clear that friend B and friend A are probably each other's favorites, and friend B's girlfriend (who happens to be my best friend) agrees with that assumption, though she doesn't know for sure. But over this year I've realized how much friend C and I have in common, and rooming with him has been awesome. And honestly, he's my best guy friend. We all hung out over break (for birthdays), but I also invited friend C over my place to hang out one day. But i think A/B are inviting C to dinner and stuff but not me, and A invited C to breakfast in front of me. I'm leaving out a lot of detail.. thanks! |

Question: I really need advice? Posted: 25 Feb 2019 01:16 PM PST my friends both at the same time said they like me and its really awkward for me because this if the first time ive had friends like like me before and i dont have feelings for them not because of their looks but just because i consider them really good friends which i have never had before and i feel starting a relationship with either one of them would ruin that kind of friendship ive never had and finally have now. also i am gay and like other guys which i did tell them about and they understand and they want to just be friends with me now too but the problem is that my parents say that i feel that way about my friends now but it will change later on but i never want to because then that means my friendship with them will go away and i dont want that to happen and thats why i normally avoid having relationships with friends. also like i just said i would being saying goodbye to the good friends i never have and now will lose whenever we decide to break up with one another which i dont want to happen i just want to stay friends cause i cant go through that at all it would be really painful for me to go through. what should i do i mean if im gay i obviously wont have feelings for them since i like other guys i mean i did tell them i just want to be friends with them and they agreed but its mainly my parents that are making it worse. i also talked to my teacher for help and she helped me out too with this problem. |

Posted: 25 Feb 2019 07:20 AM PST I went over to a friend of mine's house & he told me he wanted to try some things. We kissed & I told him I was uncomfortable & inexperienced, but he told me to relax and that he'd be gentle as he physically took my clothes off. I didn't know what to do & froze. During intercourse I told him he was hurting me & he laughed, telling me it's because I was too innocent (I was a vigin). At one point he tried to switch positions & I turned over to try & get away from him, but he grabbed me & forced himself between my legs again saying "Nope. You're practicing." I sat there after, trying to process what happened & left, & I don't know what to think. He acted like nothing was wrong & I don't know if I'm overreacting & just did something I wasn't ready for or if this's considered assault. Bc I consented to kissing & we had previously talked abt doing stuff, I feel as though I can't cry rape. However, he hit me a few times (think he tried to spank me, but he hit me extremely hard) which I definitely didn't consent to. He acted like nothing was wrong & I don't know if I'm overreacting & just did something I wasn't ready for or if this is considered assault. I've had extreme anxiety since & can't sleep after this. |

Question: To end up fighting with everyone when all I wanted to do is help them do it the right way? Posted: 25 Feb 2019 04:40 AM PST My friends are living me to help pay rent bc my gf moved out . I am afraid they are going to move out bc everything has to be just so or I freak. Perfection and being right is more important than anything else to me. They don't fold their clothes right or flush the toilet and I have to stand at the door and show them how to take out the garbage. They turn off the tv the wrong way and call me mom when I fuss over them not making their beds the military way. They don't scream that much they make fun of me and the one was like dude no wonder your gf left your tight *** I feel like I have to help people bc I know how to do most things better than most people. They need to be corrected. |

Question: My best friend is acting weird ... Why ? Posted: 24 Feb 2019 11:24 PM PST I have this friend of 4 years He's really confident about himself, really charming and funny he's like the joker of the group lol Recently i have noticed that he's kind of awkward around me Back in October we and our mutual friends made a halloween party and we had a lot of fun but i noticed that he was quite than usual and he was avoiding my eye contact with him with a sad look in his face ? He kept doing it the whole night whenever i look at him (because he kept staring at me ) he would look a way with a pouty face ? I talked to him in that party and he was kind of awkward and shy ? But after talking to him he felt little conformable and laughed a little bit but then he did the staring thing again but it was different because whenever he avoid it it was with a smile In November we met again with our mutual friends and he did it again I looked at him and he avoid it with a pouty face (he covered his face with his hat and start singing like nothing happened lol) Now he is less awkward whenever i look at him he smile and avoid it but with less awkwardness |

Question: Is she crushing on me or just being friendly? Posted: 24 Feb 2019 10:49 PM PST One of my friends who is a girl has done things like pull me onto her lap to sit down when there are no more chairs, or when she doesn t have a chair she'll pick my lap to sit on. She always comes over to hug me and texts me quite frequently. Our hugs typically last quite long and sometimes she ll randomly have her hand on my waist. When we go out with our friends to the cinemas for example, she ll always sit next to me. We sometimes share drinks... We were at a party today and although one of our friends who also went is much closer to her, she chose to take photos on my side all the time. If she was standing next to our other friend, she ll move to my side. She slides her hand around my waist but of course just for photo purposes, but she does ask me to come to the bathroom with her and takes lots of photos together there and she gets quite touchy in those. She even said "I bet I could pick you up right now", which is something I find weird for a friend to say to a friend... She kept putting her arms over my neck and then she would hug me like that for a long time, this happened so many times at the party and sometimes she ll even grab my waist to pull me closer. Like any party we had music and when there were lyrics like "come over here" she kept signalling for me to come over with her index finger? Before the party we all went for a swim, and when I came out the bathroom after getting into my bikini she stared at me for quite a long time....We re both bisexual girls Today I was sitting down and she put her arms around my neck and shoulders and hugged me, she touched my collarbone in the process... |
Question: How do you support your friend even if you don’t approve of there choices ? Posted: 24 Feb 2019 10:12 PM PST I've been friends with a girl for like 2 or 3 years so I'm always that friend that tries to give advice and opinions even when they aren't asked for. Recently she said that this guy she liked wanted to be friends with benefits and I told her something like "That doesn't show self respect to yourself" and after I said it I felt really bad . So how do I support her cause she's my friend without being judgementnal about her life choices? |

Question: Does my male friend like me? Posted: 24 Feb 2019 08:55 PM PST I have a male friend I've been hanging out with. He introduced me to his close friend recently . I mentioned that a friend told me I wouldn't find anyone because I have kids and men dislike that and he made it a point to tell me he's dated girls with kids and it doesn't bother him(random ). Then he's mentioned he wants to come back over and he's wanting to help me with stuff . Does this mean anything ? He also constantly looks at my social media and comments in person on stuff I've posted or said in the past like he remembers them. |

Question: Help i'm having a mid-life crisis at 15? Posted: 24 Feb 2019 07:47 PM PST alright so, I feel like i'm missing out on my teenage years and "living". I have no friends I hang out with outside of school at least, and I feel like it's too late for me to join a sport since the ones I like are in fall and I usually go away for vacation during tryouts. I have many interests but it changes daily? Or i'm just not motivated. I like drawing, painting, etc but then I'll get frustrated at myself then not do it. I do yoga at my house but it gets boring sometimes. I want to be good at something and have a passion and good friends but I feel like it's too late. Also no guys have ever asked me out or payed attention to me but I think i'm decent looking i'm probably boring ! I have literally 0 interesting qualities about myself. And whenever I exercise I start to cry then have a full on breakdown. I can't even go up to a cash register and pay for stuff without freaking out! i'm 15 I should be in sports, clubs, have friends, but i'm not motivated and I just don't care. I wanna try dance but I literally look like a stereotypical white girl lol. everyday Is the same thing go to school, go home, do homework, and go on my phone/videogames then sleep. The last time I went out with friends was 2 years ago and then we went to see a movie then used me to buy pizza then walked around shoprite. |

Question: I didn’t mean to use my friend am I a bad person...? Posted: 24 Feb 2019 06:51 PM PST Our friendship used to be very one sided I did everything for that person and they did not very much in return other than put up with my bad attitude. I would do and do for them and if I needed something they didn't help in return. But then I kinda put them in their place and when I needed help they started to help then I ended up by mistake using them in away. Moved in together late on rent didn't clean up the house because it was their animals doing most of the damage. Again I am placing blame on them and I was wrong to an extent. I really was but it hard rooming with slobs and having to pay rent to live in a crap hole because they don't want to clean up after themselves. I feel bad now but now I'm in a financial position where I can help them if they needed it and I would willingly do so. Does this make things better or no? I know I messed up but I don't plan on not being friends with them anymore. They used me and I got them back 3x as bad but didn't realize I was doing that until I took a step back and realized what I was doing. I was going through a lot of mental health issues. What do I do? |
Question: Problem with a Friend... What should I do? Posted: 24 Feb 2019 06:36 PM PST I'm a high school student, and I have a relatively big friend group, with a few very close friends and several people I'm not as close with but still hang around with. Recently, I broke up with my boyfriend of two years and I found out that one of the people who I'm not as close with but are still in my friend group drunkenly hooked up with him. I found out through her ex on an Instagram DM. She told him she thought of him while doing it. Obviously, I have a problem with that alone, but the worst part is that when I found out, she came up to me and said "It's not true. I would never do that to you." Come to find out, she did do it, and told all of my friends in my friend group that she did to ask for "advice." She even lied to one of my friends and said that they went all the way, which isn't true. Fast forward about a week, my whole friend group goes on a camping trip. I personally would rather never talk to her again, so I avoided her the whole time. This created a divide at the camp, and sort of made two groups unintentionally. I feel like I'm being difficult and that my friends are having trouble with the divide and conflict, but I can't bring myself to forgive her (not to mention she has yet to apologize or even admit it to me). I also don't know what to do because many of my friends are good friends with both of us, and I don't want to make them choose between us, but I feel hurt that they all still want to be friends with her knowing what she did to me. Please help. |
Question: I need help connecting with more cultured people.? Posted: 24 Feb 2019 06:08 PM PST My friends live in a city 2 hours from me and are all cultured. I am with people now who are not cultured and it upsets me that I miss my cultured friends and the connections nd bonds we have. I have a lot of cultured friends where I live but we are not close to invite them out randomly- only to link up at events. How can I get to know them more and become closer with them? |
