The following week She also started to drop comments around peers that makes it seem like we had hung out. We then went out the following Saturday. She also made a conscious effort both times to put her phone away and didnt look at it at all when we were there. I was born in 1997 and I could never go anywhere alone or do anything during childhood. My mom always smothered me. And in high school if I met a guy somewhere — either online on Facebook or somewhere else and told her I was going with them she would ask me who they were and would freak the f*** out if it was someone she didn't know and would tell me I couldn't go with them. (A normal person/anyone else's parents would've just probably said "ok, don't be back too late!" and wouldn't even have asked any questions. I felt like I was sheltered and couldn't have any new experiences and as a result I'm "behind" and a "late bloomer" so to speak and don't really have the social skills I should have for my age. Plus I look like I'm 12 and I'm short so that doesn't really help. I still live at home now and I can't even go anywhere alone or take a drive because god forbid she'll get all suspicious and ask me a million questions about where I'm going. But he's been telling me stuff that I don't want to know or get upset about. Like he's getting his gf an engagement ring and he's feeling horny all the time can't rly get sex from me personally cuz he says he can't but we can sext. He's saying he's waiting for her procedure in Aug to know if she have kids or not. I don't rly need to know these things. Is this cuz he wants me jealous? |

During lunch period I told Jake I had to study for a class so I went to the library and stuff, I finished early so I went to the cafeteria and he was pretty much feeling this girl up. They were holding hands and stuff, I had to look twice to be sure and they definitely kissed. I confronted him on snap and he said I saw wrong and that the girl was his cousin? idk what to believe |
| Question: Am I overreacting or my boyfriend not supportive please help, please? Posted: 19 Feb 2019 06:31 PM PST My boyfriend and i have been together for 3 years, we are 23. When I was younger I've undergo trauma through sexual assault and verbal abuse, as a result my PTSD as caused auditory hallucinations (hearing voices). I've never told him until recently two days ago because it slipped it. This was all through text. I've never told anyone before at all, and it's something I'm not okay with, something I've been trying to help myself with years with. After I told him, he told me I need to get help. And at that point I was scared, because I didn't want him to think I was crazy and leave me because in the beginning he would break up with me for being annnoyinf and for being socially awkward. After that, I was sending messages on messages saying I'm scared and sorry I didn't tell him. All he said was he was sad for me. The next day he didn't text me at all. Until I decided to text him at 10pm ranting and saying that I don't understand why he hadn't messaged me and I understand that if he is scared but I need some sort of communication and if you want to be left alone tell me. He just leaves me on read. I then text him this morning saying that I need him to tell him things are gonna be okay and if you don't know then we are gonna work together. And i then said if he doesn't message me by the time he reads it then I know my answer...he left me on read. I just feel heartbroken, am I over reacting or being selfish ?? |

A lot of this is because I'm a very introverted person, and i just won't talk to a girl just to have sex or other things. I still would talk to them at school as friends, just not in an intimate way. But now, there's this girl who I've been talking to for about 3 weeks now, and we talked a little about 3 months ago, and I literally can not stop thinking about her. I don't even talk to her in school, just because I'd rather hang out with her alone with no other people around. But from just talking to her on text, there is something about her I can't get out of my head. I do think she is kind of introverted like me, and is kind of socially awkward around people that she doesn't know, just like me. I don't know if it's because we're similar, or what. I want to be able to hang out with her but I'm just nervous since I've never kissed a girl, and she's already lost her virginity. |
| Question: What’s considered an emotional affair? Posted: 19 Feb 2019 06:19 PM PST My wife is accusing me of having an emotional affair with a woman at work. Our offices are close together at work so she comes from time to time to mine and I go to her office, we discuss a lot of things, some work related and some not. Wife came by last week and while my wife and I were having lunch the woman I work with came up to me and hugged me as well as kisses my cheek. This is something she's been doing for a while. Anyways, after she leaves my wife was bombarding me with questions and then she says that am having an emotional affair. She's been non stop talking about this, am at my witts ends here. While if am honest I do find this other woman attractive and like her company. I'm not going to cheat on my wife of three years. My wife however insists it's an affair because my emotions are involved. It's even gotten us to talk of divorce which is insane ! What the heck is an emotional affair? This sounds made up, is this something women make up ? All from a hug and kiss on the cheek and the fact that we speak at work ? It's crazy ! |
