Question: Is marriage and children a trap? Posted: 10 Feb 2019 08:21 PM PST Just talked to a 75 year old man who hates his wife and marriage. His marriage is fake. It has died a long time ago. I'm 28. Is single being better than being married and having kids? I've been engaged before, and I like being singe. But what would I do when I'm old? Who will take care of me? Isn't the purpose of life to procreate and die? Maybe he doesn't hate his wife. But he is very unhappy with his arrogant wife. He doesn't feel accepted by her as far as I gather. |
Question: How often should married couples have sex ? Posted: 10 Feb 2019 06:25 PM PST My wife and I have been married for 3 months we have a daughter who's a month old. We don't have sex as much as we want to we just do it whenever she wants it usually once or twice a week. How often should we do it ? |
Question: I'm a newly wed and my wife recently took a job on a different state? Posted: 10 Feb 2019 06:24 PM PST We've been together for 2 years and recently got married. I'm 9 years older so I've been working at a company for years. She just got done with college and fearing she would not find anything better locally, took a job ( a good job) for a company in a different state. I haven't been too happy at my job either and she wants me to quit and move in with her. Anything wrong with this picture? I'm just afraid she might be making decisions that are in her best interest only and not being considerate of me. |

Question: Why most person choose to leave party if they see their troubles ex showed up? Posted: 10 Feb 2019 12:45 PM PST Often when people go to party with group of friend. Party get big after few hundreds showed up. Often when they saw their ex husband or wife that they having big problems with in past. They decide to time to leave party. I mean why willing to gave up their rights to stay at party and enjoy the party for rest of night? I mean can't they pretend they didn't see their ex at party? Or at least avoid ex like go to different room. Hang around with different people to avoid ex? My attitude is you have a same rights to have good time, no matter if enemy is near you or not. You can't give your freedom away by avoiding them. You let your enemies win and you lost. |
Question: Should I continue to help my ex wife? Posted: 10 Feb 2019 12:39 PM PST Even though I am divorced from my wife, we are on friendly terms. Our marriage did not work out but the friendship remained. My ex wife has called asking for help several times and I always help her when she asked. For example, her computer stopped working and she wanted help getting her email. I fixed her computer. She could not get her car started one time and I took her to work, fixed her car and brought her home from work. Recently she asked for help with her filling out the forms for her income taxes. Some of her friends have asked me to stop helping her. They tell me she will never be able to learn to live on her on and get on with her life if I keep helping her. I would find it very hard to turn down anyone that asked for my help when I know I can help them. However I want the very best future for her and I don't want to cause her any future problems. Please give me some advice on what I should do in the future if she asks for help. |
Question: What do I give my husband for 40th birthday? Posted: 10 Feb 2019 11:48 AM PST My husband is never one to like meaningless items for gifts. He is artistic and melancholy. I'm desperately trying to come up with something interesting and meaningful as a gift for his surprise party. I could use any and all ideas. Please be creative!! Thanks |
Question: Is it bad for a married man to flirt with women? Posted: 10 Feb 2019 11:15 AM PST Not to cheat. To see if I still can seduce women. I will not go any further. |
Posted: 10 Feb 2019 11:14 AM PST My wife works in a retail store ( Jcpenny's) but really doesn't get paid for her work since she had to pay a large sump for our daughter's college and had to take out 401 K loans. Even when she was making a consistent wage it still was barely enough money considering we live in a big house and have a ton of bills plus we have 3 kids in the house that all eat. I buy a dozen case of eggs from walmart ( I buy the cheapiest ones from the great value brand) We don't have aldi or any low budget grocery stores in the area. We only have Walmart, Publix, Wholefoods, Farmers Market, and Winn Dixie. We have Costo's also but that requires a membership. My wife uses up the Dozen eggs the same day or within two days that i buy it- She makes egg muffins, pancakes, waffles, Stir fry, catfish. I have to buy eggs almost everyday which is killing my wallet even though I get the cheapiest eggs from walmart that are about $1.99. My wife wants me to buy organic eggs but I would defintely be broke then. |
Question: I love my husband but I am thinking of divorce..? Posted: 10 Feb 2019 10:45 AM PST I got married a year and half ago, two months after marriage, I discovered my husband is addicted to sweed, I confronted him and he said he only smokes on occassions , a month later I got pregnant, his behavior turned to the worst, he started swearing and yelling, he even pushed me twice that my head hit the back of my bed . He apoligized many times, I now have a six month baby A week ago, we decided to go out, but then he suddenly changed his mind, I was mad because I am a stay at home mom and never go out, he suddenly turned to this evil person, he started yelling, calling me names and slapped me on the face, he then pulled my hair twice and spat on me, I even locked my slef in the bed room I was too scared, he came in and kept yelling, it was scary, I called my mom to come and pick me up and my baby, she came and he started yelling at her too and calling her names, he said he will take my baby, so I ran away with my baby, didnt know where to go. I think he started taking new drugs maybe cocakine or sth? As a week before that happened, he woke up one day with a severe headache, face swalloed with red spots all over his face and shoulder, he was hallcuinating and since then he is asleep all the time and has stomache ache and diarrhea.. I am not sure, but is this a sign of sth else but weed what shall I do now? I left him a week ago and didnt talk to him, he is now apoligizing and wants me back, but I am deeply hurt.. Plz advice me I really love him |
Posted: 10 Feb 2019 10:32 AM PST He is in his mid 30 s. He lived with us until last year. He said he was sick of how we treated him and married his girlfriend and moved. I wish he would realize he will never make it out there and move back because he should be taking care of us. He barely talks to us, I think it is because my husband refused to give him the title for his car. My son's wife said they will sue if we don't give it back or reimburse him for the car. Also my husband and I fight a lot and need him as a buffer. Our other kids are busy and barely have time to visit. We were not invited to the wedding. Whenever the grandkids come over They would rather play with him and his wife. It is like a competition. They let them pet and kiss the dog. Which is disgusting. They let them play wrestling with their stuffed toys instead of working on their speech and keeping them on my schedule. This is dangerous They listen to baby shark instead of watching preaching and the news. We both end up screaming at everyone confiscating all the toys and the kids and my son and daughter in law get mad.. and my other kids won't let the grandkids come over.... My son is standing up for himself. Before he married this awful women he was terrified of my husband. |

Posted: 10 Feb 2019 10:27 AM PST And don't want to interact with them anymore. I should mention that of all three of the girls, each has run down their husbands. I believe we are all either controlling, yell at our kids, gamble, are alcoholics and cheats. Strangely though very little if any of this is true. Is there a solution here? |
Posted: 10 Feb 2019 09:39 AM PST Pedicures, etc... My wife is not willing to tell her no as we don't have that kind of income(I do well but she has bottomless pockets). It has come to the point where she can pretty much demand my wife's time. When this girl is lonely, my wife will have to leave the kids with me and go off with her for hours on end even if it seems she really doesn't want to. There are times when she has no use for my wife and then our marriage returns to normal. I have shared my concerns with my wife. I've told her I believe this girl has bought her out. But my wife just gets offended and tells me to mind my business. What can I do? |

Posted: 10 Feb 2019 08:57 AM PST It seems like every week someone owes someone money. I just don't get it as a guy because I never buy my male friends things from the grocery store or clothes, etc... Is this normal? Should I ask her to stop? |

Question: My husband is a jealous possessive controlling jerk? Posted: 10 Feb 2019 07:25 AM PST I can't have anyone around without him competing for my attention, and thinking everyone wants me. I spend every day with him...and I only have friends come over a few times a year, from work. They usually bring their husbands to meet him, and we all usually go out together to eat, ECT. Then he gets jealous, ugly, nasty, and scares everyone off. He makes up lies, stories, and sees things that are not happening. Then everyone scatters and leaves. Yet, it's perfectly fine for him to have friends to hang out with all day, every weekend, and do what he wants...while I stay home by myself, alone. His friends don't bring wives, or have significant others to visit. I'm alone alot, and I am afraid to bring anyone over because he will act like a nut job, and scare everyone off...then he blames me for his behavior. He's very mean about it...and upsets me, and makes me cry. He can get so mad, that he attacks me, or breaks things....all because he's jealous and don't want anyone around me. I think he might have a mental illness, because this behavior is not normal. Especially how he turns it all around on me...and nobody has done anything to cause him to act so irrational and aggressive, but be my friend. |
Question: Should I turn down out of state job because step daughter s father said no? Posted: 10 Feb 2019 07:07 AM PST I live in Colorado with my wife and my 18 month old step daughter. I got offered a good job offer in New York and my wife and I agreed to accept the offer. She tried telling the father of my step daughter about the move and he firmly said no she is not leaving the state. He is not on the birth certificate, has no legal custody established and chooses to see her maybe 6 days out of the month. After my wife and him spoke she was having second thoughts about moving and said is scared about how it will negatively affect our family. Is it selfish that I want to take the job? |
Question: I’m separated but I haven’t told the guy I’m dating? Posted: 10 Feb 2019 01:28 AM PST I've been separated 7 years haven't done anything about it being honest just lazy, some questions are confusing, time in court.. I have had a lot of bad experiences dating so the divorce didn't bother me or them then anyway.. But the guy I'm dating things are moving nicely, genuine connection, we are really keen on each other, we are dating exclusively but I can feel it reaching the next level. Because the marriage was over so long ago the separation thing didn't come to mind it's only that things are getting serious. So there is absolutely no hope of reconciling and no ties at all just the link between my son and his dad (which my date is well aware of). I'm starting to panic suddenly. The next time I see him is Valentine's Day. How am I to go about this? Do you think he'd care? More than happy to proceed with the divorce just wasn't a priority at all. People that want to spray nasty answers move along just don't bother .. I'm wanting help so I don't damage things here. Thank you all x |
Question: Is a wife's worth only for having children? Posted: 09 Feb 2019 10:02 PM PST |
Question: What's wrong with my wife ? Posted: 09 Feb 2019 09:08 PM PST My wife is really over protective of our kids our daughter is 3 she'll be 4 in April our son is 1 she's pregnant with our 3rd. Especially when it comes to death she's very over protective she won't let them watch Disney the only Disney my daughter loves is Frozen , Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or Doc Mcstuffins. Other than that they mostly watch Nick Jr or PBS. Yesterday we took her to the movies to watch A Dogs Way Home her uncle went with us he and his partner wanted to see it she did good for her first time at the theaters but some parts of the movie I had to cover her eyes for the death scenes also nearly towards the end where the dog got hit by the car. There were other kids there watching it also there was a part where the dog was living with a gay couple I'm guessing they are she started asking about that now my wife is freaking out because of that. Her brother is gay but we don't tell our daughter that we just tell her that the other guy is her uncles best friend. She let's her watch South Park , Family Guy , Teen Mom other bad shows but she can't let her watch movies that have death or gay couples in them. I love her more than anything but sometimes she gets a little crazy. What's wrong with her ? |

Question: Should I be mad at my wife ? Posted: 09 Feb 2019 09:07 AM PST My wife is 5 months pregnant with our 3rd baby she's been acting really weird. She's been having dreams of me cheating on her which I would never do she thinks the kids are getting more attention than her which is probably is what's causing her dreams she said she wants to give them up for adoption. Her brother is a doctor and therapist she went to see him last week he gave her some medicine to help her she's been doing better she said she wants the kids to go away for a week she just wants it to be me and her she said having 2 soon to be 3 kids is too much for her right now. She said next week her brother and his partner are gonna take them for a week so me and her can be alone. She was never depressed during her first 2 pregnancies she was always happy I don't know what got into her. Should I be mad at her for this ? |
