Question: Strong sexual desire towards her?????? Posted: 06 Feb 2019 05:18 PM PST My name is Erik and i became good friends with this woman from work. I always had a thing for her, and she was also interested in me by the way she would act with me. Everyone kept telling me that she would always talk about me, and that she would always stare at me. The problem is that she was married and had a daughter. I got soo close to this woman, that everyone at work felt as if me and this woman were sleeping together (but we weren't) eventually our supervisors split us up at work, and too avoid drama she deleted me from facebook. But i cant stop thinking about her, i dont know whats happening with me. Ive been lusting for her for the past 8 months that i know her. Can i please have some advice?????????? |

Question: Why do people bully me? Posted: 06 Feb 2019 04:21 PM PST I'm shy, sensitive, quiet, unattractive, a minority, and a pushover. I don't stand up for myself because I'm afraid I'll get hurt, but even when I do stand up for myself it gets worse. I don't know what to do anymore. I can't live like this. I can't go through life being bullied and being too afraid to do something about it. How do I stand up for myself without getting into a fight? What do I say to the bullies? I'm tired of being bullied. Why won't they stop? |

Question: New school, mid-year? Posted: 06 Feb 2019 02:28 PM PST I'm 16 and a girl for starters. So basically, I've been home-schooled for about a year and a half now. I'm in 10th grade at the moment, and my dad is putting me into an early college instead of continuing the homeschooling. The semester is about to start (tomorrow), and I am unbelievably nervous. As in I feel like I'm gonna pass out from anxiety. I don't know anyone in the school, I only recently moved in with my dad (it is complicated so I'm not gonna get into it, but I was with my mom before), and I hardly know anyone in the city in general. Advice? Anything? I don't know how to talk to people. I'm not even exaggerating, it's like I forget the English language as soon as I have to interact with someone I don't know very well. I usually end up just standing outside of a group of kids, looking awkward, and not saying anything. They also enforce uniforms there so that's new for me. Help? |
Posted: 06 Feb 2019 01:15 PM PST I told my friend (privately) about my assault. She has been telling my other friends about it without even asking me if that's ok. Is it wrong to feel extremely upset with her? When I told her she was very understanding and said she knows it's very personal and private, but didn't even wait a day to tell others. I feel like I was attacked all over again and just feel so violated. It's my story to tell if I choose to. I just don't understand what gave her the right to disclose this information. |
Question: My friends little sister feels like her family hates her? Question: Would you stop being friends with someone who accidentally peed on your couch? Posted: 06 Feb 2019 11:09 AM PST so, we had a get together and a friend of mine got a little too drunk ( not ignorant ) , but peed my couch..I am not mad , yes gross lol, but accidents happen,.but the other friends said I shouldn't hang out with her |
Question: Why is she so obsessed with me? Posted: 06 Feb 2019 11:06 AM PST I moved schools. At my old school, there was a girl who was intent on ruining my high school experience. She manipulated me, broke me down, took all my friends, and she's still trying to bring me down when I don't even go to the school anymore. I'm just curious why she still cares. |

Question: What did I do to make this person no longer want to keep in touch with me? Posted: 06 Feb 2019 09:49 AM PST I once spoke to someone I used to go to school with about rapndom topics out of boredom. And I thought they were pretty cool and liked speaking to them. I thought I formed a friendship. Until one day I accidentally told him something that was disrespectful like going on my phone at church (I was there for my in laws) and even getting told off for chewing gum. Look. I don't normally go church because it's not my religion. And I'm sorry I don't have common sense sometimes. Kid told me it was disrespectful. And I think that's when the way he saw me changed? After awhile he stopped liking all my social media posts and continued to like every other mutual friend. And immature stupid me got angry. So I decided I'd block him so I wouldn't have to worry about it. I know complete waste of time right? I felt bad. So a week later unblocked and followed. He followed back. Then replied to his story "wtf??" About his post with a car and the caption 'sex'. He sent back a Q mark. Then next thing I knew I was blocked on Instagram, unfriended on Facebook and Snapchat. And I feel cut. I really do. I've never had anyone dislike me like this. What did I do that was so bad? Now cause its a girl and boy, no I'm not romantically attracted to him. But I value friendship.. and the random convo with him was nice to me. I don't know what I did wrong. Is this... karma for blocking and unblocking in the first place? Why am I so triggered. . |
Posted: 06 Feb 2019 09:34 AM PST I'm what most would consider good looking and a lot smarter than he is if I'm just being honest. I've had my share too but this guy lives like a pro stud. When I see the women going in and out of his place and I know what just happened. I must admit that I do sometimes get a bit envious. The only thing he's got going is his crazy amount of confidence which he has always had. |
Question: Where should I start this investigation? Posted: 06 Feb 2019 07:28 AM PST Ok so, I'm a highschool student. I don't really have many enemies and most people like me. But one day I got called down to the principles office and someone had supposedly reported me for vaping in the bathroom. I don't do that at all, and I haven't even gone to the bathroom. The dean searched me and cleared me but I want to figure out who accused me of such a thing. It can't be a teacher because they used my nickname and referred to me as my "friend who was concerned". I have no idea or leads so where should I start my investigation? |

Question: Should I be hurt that my mom always forgets my birthday? Posted: 06 Feb 2019 02:25 AM PST Ever since I was 12 years old (that was 26 years ago) she has continuously forgotten. Even though I talk to her almost every day because I take care of her and am her emotional crutch. I'm the youngest of 3, the accident that turned out to be "God's personal gift to her" because I am the one who takes care of her. Those are her words. Ever since I was a teen I have worked a supported her financially and emotionally. I make sure every holiday and her birthday are properly celebrated. I don't expect a gift, just a simple phrase. The words happy birthday would mean a lot to me. Every year I know she will forget but every year at the end of the day I still feel hurt that she is clueless that it's my birthday. Am I being too dramatic by letting my feelings get hurt? |
Question: Am I being petty for being pissed off at my roomate? Posted: 05 Feb 2019 09:23 PM PST My new college roommate and I share a bathroom and shower. He accidentally knocked my body wash container off the edge of the shower and broke the top, so now the body wash can't be pumped out of it. Obviously, it's really no big deal cuz it's just body wash. But when I asked him about it, he immediately shifted the blame onto me for "putting it in a spot where his elbow would bump it off the edge" (BS). No apology from him whatsoever. I'm really pissed off cuz a normal person should just say "sorry dude, it was an accident", and I would say "it's alright man". This incident really made me lose some respect for him. Am I being petty for being pissed off at how he handled the situation? I feel like the way he handled it really speaks for what kind of guy he is. |
Question: People like my bestfriend more than me? Posted: 05 Feb 2019 08:35 PM PST My bestfriend is really pretty and sociable while I am anti social and quiet but I don't hate how I look.... I feel like people see me as less than my bestfriend since I don't put myself out there but it doesn't seem fair.... I feel like people always choose her over me and they like her more.... it sounds dumb and awful but when she complains about all the guys messaging her and asking for pics I get jealous because I rarely get any and they are always gross guys who have no one better.... |
Question: Best Friend Troubles? Posted: 05 Feb 2019 07:52 PM PST My best friend got dumped yesterday, and I'm honestly glad about it. He didn't treat her nearly as good as she deserves to be treated. She's one of the best girls I know. I'm there for her during her heartbreak, but I'm also very honest about how I feel about him. He was a dick. She's still head over heels for him, and she's telling me to be more supportive about her desire to get back together with him. She used the words "if you're really my best friend". I am her best friend, that's why I feel so strongly about their relationship. She claims that she loves him just as much as I love my boyfriend. They were together 3 months, I've been with my boy for a year and a half. I don't know what to do, I find it really hard to fake being supportive about them but I also can't lose my friendship with her. |
Question: My friend got kicked out? Posted: 05 Feb 2019 06:40 PM PST my friend that i have known for a year now, she got kicked out of her house (she's 18), and now she doesn't know where to go. SO, what do i tell her cuz she really desperate and she just started working. (I really would like for her to stay with me but i have alot of family members that theres no room for her) |
Question: Former friends think they have magic powers (read details)? Posted: 05 Feb 2019 06:37 PM PST Okay, so, when I was a young teenager, I had three friends who thought they had magic/spiritual powers. They called themselves "Crusaders," and they said they protected the "spiritual world" from the Antichrist. They said stuff about talking to gods and battling dragons as well. For a bit, they tried to convince me I was a "Crusader" as well, which I almost wanted to believe, but quickly admitted to myself and to them that what they were saying was obvious bullcrap. Some of what they said was even more outrageous, like that Link from The Legend of Zelda was real and fought alongside them in the Spiritual World. After a small argument with them about the obvious illegitimacy of their claims, they got really mad at me and stopped hanging out with me. This happened almost five years ago. I just wanted to ask what could have been going through their heads. If it were just one person I d just write it off as them being crazy, but this was three people who all shared the same crazy beliefs. Even then, I would have said they were just going through their middle school "I m special" phase, but this apparently had been going on since several years before they started hanging out with me. Also, has anyone heard anything really similar to this? Like, could it be some crazy religion or maybe cult that more people outside of these three people are a part of? This happened a long time ago, but it still kind of freaks me out. So yeah. |
Question: My class voted my friend as being in the top 3 for most opinionated. Is that a bad thing? Posted: 05 Feb 2019 06:08 PM PST She has been feeling down for the entire day and i don't really know how to comfort her as I have no coue if they just thought she was voicing her opinions too often or it was a bad thing. |
Question: What does your close friends do that you complain about the Most? Details are helpful.? Posted: 05 Feb 2019 05:17 PM PST |
Question: Is it weird to friend request him? Posted: 05 Feb 2019 01:45 PM PST I was obsessed with this teacher in middle school. A big majority of the school knew about it, including the teacher himself, my assistant principal and the principal. He ended up becoming my mentor in a mentor/mentee program and we ate lunch together (in the assistant principal's office with the door open, of course!) once a month to discuss my progress in school. He was also the basketball coach so even after I went to high school, I made it to a couple basketball games so I could cheer on the team and so I could see him. I was obsessed until I was about 17 and that was the last time I saw him. Fast forward to 7 years later, I was working at a breakfast restaurant and him and his family came in one day and they came in a few other times that year. I hadn't seen him in 7 years and yet, all those feelings came rushing back. Fast forward almost 4 years later, I haven't seen him since, but we have mutual friends on Facebook. I recently had a dream about him so I decided to friend request him on Facebook. Do you think that's weird? It's not like he doesn't know me. Also, I'm 28 now and engaged so no worries on me having feelings for him still. I've outgrown that lol. Because he was a very positive male influence in my life. I lost my dad at a young age and this teacher was good for my mental/emotional health. I friend requested him. The worst he could do is deny it. By the way, he was a very friendly teacher and has many past students as FB friends. |
Question: I emailed one of my old mentors for advice and never heard back? Should I follow up soon? Posted: 04 Feb 2019 09:34 PM PST I emailed for advice about interviews and to let them know how the places they sent letters in for me turned out. I thought we had a friendly relationship so I just wanted to check in. I emailed a couple weeks ago, but It turns out they have been on vacation in a foreign country for most of the time since I sent the email. They got back a few days ago though. When should I follow up? |
