Question: My neighbor beats her children and i want to report her but i don’t know how? Posted: 16 Feb 2019 04:45 PM PST so i'm a 15 year old and live with my parents and i always invite my friend timothy over and we hang out and he always cry's about how his mom treats him and he hates living there because he gets beaten and punched and has bruises everywhere and cuts from self harm and i feel really bad :(. i've witnessed this once when i was at his house and he talked back his mom beat him so hard he was bleeding and couldn't walk for a couple days. i feel so bad and want to cry but i don't know what i can do to help him and his other siblings from abuse, his mom smashes his room, tears his school work to pieces, and is overall just horrible. |

Question: If someone apologised for bullying you at school how would you respond? Posted: 16 Feb 2019 02:36 PM PST I'm about to reach my mid 20s and recently I received a message from someone I went to school with. They are very sorry for how they treated me, they regret it deeply and also heard I am doing well, so they are really happy for me. I debate on responding, but I also don't think I owe this person anything and would rather the past be in the past as I have health issues I manage well, which are a result of being bullied at school. |
Question: How come every time I'm friendly and outgoing people say I'm "bothering other people"? Posted: 16 Feb 2019 02:31 PM PST And you wonder why people have social anxiety.. you enforce it.. you're not allowed to talk to other people. It's like socially illegal.. |
Question: My roommate situation is bad? Posted: 16 Feb 2019 01:50 PM PST I'm a junior in college and live with 3 other guys in an apartment complex. We are all friends (and have been since freshman year), but one of the guys is just not someone that I want to live with (messy, comes in loudly at 2 AM, etc). Another roommate and I want to go do our own thing next year, and when we proposed the idea he freaked, called us horrible people and said: "how could Y'all do this to me, you're just going to throw away our friendship". He said that he is already locked in for another year (he signed without telling us). I obviously pointed out that we don't have to live with each other to remain friends, but he just left the room. That was two weeks ago. Nothing has been said and he basically still assumes we are living with him. The other roommate and I still want to live elsewhere but are puzzled as to how to mention this to them again. We don't want things to be awkward for the rest of the semester, but we also realize that we can't live our lives in total accordance to others. His parents wanted to bring in a lawyer, but I feel like this was just threats and a lawyer couldn't actually do anything. Any advise? **update** Forgot to mention this in the original post. Our lease ends in August, and he told us that "we are telling him so last minute". Not sure if that really changes anything or if that's just another tactic to make us feel bad and stay... |
Question: What do you think of this guy ? Posted: 16 Feb 2019 12:53 PM PST The bass player for my band I think has some problems he had a boyfriend a few months ago now he's dating or is engaged to his own sister. His sister is the manager for our band they're parents don't seem to care he posted on the band's page they're wedding date. I knew that rock stars were crazy but I didn't think they were that crazy. We're not real famous though were just a local band. I love him like a brother but he's a little bit strange. What do you think of him ? Can brothers and sisters get married ? |
Question: This girl keeps spreading rumors about me and it is annoying. What to do? Posted: 16 Feb 2019 12:09 PM PST I asked her to stop but she ignored me I am getting sick of this! We has to work together i STEM lab and she said I am the Grinch because I hate happiness I just laugh about how much of a Hippocratic jerk she was being. Then she would not stop arguing with me and she would not let me work on the project and she made fun of me in science because I was upset that I got a C on a test and she made fun of me because I was upset! I told her to Shut up and then the teacher heard me say that and I got into trouble. long story short he separated us. |
Question: My friend doesn’t want me to be mates with her friend? Why is this? Posted: 16 Feb 2019 11:57 AM PST My close friend introduced me to another friend and me and him really hit it off and have a lot of similar interests, but she doesn't 'approve' of our friendship. We are both guys, so nothing romantic (I don't think... lol), why doesn't she want us being mates? Thanks! |
Posted: 16 Feb 2019 11:35 AM PST I had a sleepover last night and one of my friends decided she wanted to help me practice kissing... on her. I kept backing out and I was so scared. I kissed her twice (with a bit of tongue and stuff) but pulled away after a few seconds. She s bisexual and I m lesbian (we re in eighth grade, I know that seems young but that s neither here nor there). I thought it felt strange and now I m nervous as heck around her, especially since she has been putting her hands on my inner thigh and stuff... She s known to be a bit flirty but this is weird to me. It s like she s trying to arouse me or something... Help? |
Posted: 16 Feb 2019 10:16 AM PST I mean what was that supposed to mean? Lol was I fat or just looked younger than huh |
Question: My boyfriend doesn't like any of my friends or my family...How do I handle this? Posted: 16 Feb 2019 09:49 AM PST My boyfriend and I have been together for more than 5 years and he hasn't really even met my friends, only two of them. Although I don't have a lot of friends the friends I have are important to me. My boyfriend believes all my friends are 'fake' and aren't really my friends because all we do is 'talk about our problems'. Any friendship I have he think is stupid and bad for me, and it's gotten to the point where I no longer have certain friends in my life because he gets so upset when he hears I am with them for an evening having dinner, nothing crazy. Meanwhile my boyfriend doesn't have any friends or one person he close to (he used to have one friend but he got tired of him and dropped their 15 year friendship.) He claims 'he doesn't need friends' and he focuses on his 'inner self' more. Even though I know he is such a jerk sometimes and makes me feel guilty for having these friendships, I disgustingly chose him every time. What can I do? |
Question: How to deal with fake friends? Posted: 16 Feb 2019 08:11 AM PST So two of my friends always leave me out of stuff and they make plans in front of me. It turns out they have been calling me annoying and whenever I try and talk to them they are snappy towards me. What can I do to deal with them or maybe make them realize they are hurting me? |
Posted: 16 Feb 2019 08:01 AM PST Obviously, they are bigger and taller than him, as he is a sophomore and they are juniors. So I can understand that he was outweighed by them and felt he couldn't do anything. But what really upsets me is that I spent all this money for him to go on a field trip where we didn't sleep on a bed. On top of that, in an uncomfortable position that could've been avoided if one of the juniors had enough common courtesy to lend my son one of their mattresses. FYI, both beds in the hotel room had an extra mattress. But instead, according to what my son told me, he asked them for a mattress, to which they refused as they proceeded to get comfy in their beds and doze off while my son sat in the chair and eventually on the floor. Unfortunately, my son's hotel room arrangements were due to nobody in his class wanting to room with him, as he is deemed unpopular or "not cool." So two of the juniors were stuck with him, and I really don't appreciate how they basically treated him like a dog. How should I bring this matter to his school? |
Question: Is it normal for a person to always talk about what they did for you or someone? Posted: 16 Feb 2019 07:21 AM PST If they helped you 2 years ago, but always bringing up that situation, if they did something nice for your kids, but you ALWAYS have to hear about it. That gets really annoying. Is it okay for a person to always talk about what they did? who does that? |
Posted: 16 Feb 2019 06:34 AM PST Morning class with her and one at the end of the day so its very hard to ignore her. Because she thinks im the sun or sonething and always talks to me and stuff. I need help |
Question: Someone that has a crush on me ask me to join a club with him? Posted: 16 Feb 2019 05:44 AM PST Uhhh so I have been asked by him to join a club that even I don't know if I want to join or not. From where I come from joining clubs will help me gain extra-curricular marks but the thing is I'm not really sure if I would like the club and if I'm comfortable with being in the same club as him so I need opinions. Can you guys help? |
Question: Is it wrong that I am happy that my high school bully has cancer? Posted: 15 Feb 2019 11:35 PM PST I just found out on Instagram that my high school bully has cancer, people are posting stuff about it. I immediately smiled when I found out, it brought me a lot of joy. He bullied me all throughout high school which was 2 years ago, we are now both 20 and he has leukemia I guess. I hope he dies, he did a lot of things to me like spread rumors, he made the entire school hate me. I almost committed suicide. Is it wrong that I am happy about this? |
Question: THIS IS IMPORTANT!!!!!!! PLEASE READ? Posted: 15 Feb 2019 10:01 PM PST So there is this account on Snapchat that was made as an exposed account. They just bully and harass kids. I don't want to talk to them or say anything because i'm scared they'll put something about me on there. But what i'm asking is, is there any way I can find out who it is? I mean obviously I can report it. But I want to find out who it is, expose them and make them pay the price:) Because it's not cool. Someone already did this in our town before and it got taken down. They're being stupid. But someone please give me ideas on how to figure out who it is. It would help a lottttt |
Question: Anybody else hate being face-timed at random times? Posted: 15 Feb 2019 08:49 PM PST I don't need to have a random conversation with you when I'm trying to relax and wasn't expecting your call. |
Posted: 15 Feb 2019 07:00 PM PST I'm old to still be in college..I turn 25 next month.. I made friends with one girl last semester..She's an extrovert, so that's the only reason I became friends with her. But this semester, she's student teaching, so I don't see her anymore...I'm also very shy.... But once I come out of my shell, I tend to become clingy because I don't have much social interaction with anyone else. There's this guy in my class, and he talks to me (and his other friend sitting on the other side of him). They seem so chill and fun, and I don't mind having guy friends. But he has a girlfriend and I'm afraid he's just an extrovert who views anyone and everyone as not a stranger...He's called me his friend, but I don't think he actually means friend- friend. I just don't know how to start meaningful conversations with people AND keep them around bc the people who do seem to start small talk convos and talk more than just saying hi still end up just being acquaintances....I feel like I'm dying of social isolation, but I don't know how to make friends...I feel like I'm bothering people and that I have an annoying personality.. I also don't really know how to keep convos going.. And I don't go out bc I don't have anyone to go out and do things with, really. Is it weird to just go through these last few semesters as a transfer and commuter student with no friends at school? I feel it's glaringly obvious that I don't have any friends... I would pay people to keep company with me, ... Also how can I keep myself from becoming attached to people who are just acquaintances for the time being and not meant to remain in my life without coming across as unfriendly and standoffish??? |

Question: Why did my dear friend just now start saying “i love you” more often? Posted: 15 Feb 2019 10:50 AM PST My dear friend and i have been very close for years, she is so special to me as I am to her. We hold a special bond. She is very blunt, rough person, not so much sentimental, although she has a soft spot for me. So she is often more kind with me than anyone else. We're both women and love each other dearly, we show it all the time, we are best friends. We talk every day on the phone, multiple times, once in a while rarely i will say "love you" before we say bye. She will say it back, although I don't say it often because she is very reswrved and that "rough/tough" kind of person, she gets uncomfortable with "lovey dovey" things. Although sometimes she will be extra sweet with me.. Well recently she said "I love you" to me first a few weeks ago when we are about to get off the phone! It meant so much because I know her, she doesn't play around with anything and means her words. After that she has started saying "i love you" even more so when we get off the phone. I love it and it means so much, I'm just wondering, why has she started to say it? Especially more often do you think? |
