I'd like to start by saying this is an online/long distance friendship that started over roleplay on Tumblr. In the beginning me and my friend were close and hit it off well. Now, we barely can hold conversation with one another and there's dead air sometimes between us. There's also jealousy that I think is equal on both sides but more from me. I'm not the bully they are. I have three days of in school suspension starting next next this Monday. She even made me apologize to those bullies. She did have a talk with them saying that they should be more nice about it but they didn't get punished. She then proceeded to say to me that the girl was allergic to perfume. I hope she and her little boyfriend both die in a chamber with perfumes coming up there nose. I want to see them suffer and record it.

Because finding something to do locally to meet people isn't always an option... It used to be you could search for local people on ICQ, go to forums or chatrooms to find local people. So I've been studying abroad for about 4 months now and have met some really great people. A couple of days ago my friends and I were talking and one of them mentioned that his brother died suddenly. Of course we were all sad and expressed condolences, but then he said "you guys can come to the funeral if you want." Now the other people have known him for much longer and I can't tell if he just didn't want to say "hey you four can come to the funeral but you cannot" type thing or if he actually wants me there. Also worth mentioning that I don't know his family or the brother. I would say that I am relatively close to my friend (about as close as you can get in a 3/4 month time period) so I fee like I should go, but then I also kind of feel like I shouldn't cause I don't know anyone but him and don't want it to be awkward or have him not want me there. I also do not think that any of the other friends can make it to the funeral. I'm just unsure what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Im 18 and a freshman in college. Im kind of a cluster-f**k of different types of people. I have the body of a jock, listen to really eclectic music, like skating, am super into cars, etc... I can't identify with any group. the jocks listen to rap and just get wasted on the weekends. The music people/hipsters don't go outside or exercise and only wear thrifted clothes. The car guys are meatheads. I dont feel the need to hook up with tons of people or get wasted/baked/strung out every weekend. I don't relate with any of these groups completely and have a really hard time making friends because of that. I just like what I like. I am a 16 year old girl in high school, I am a perfectly behaved kid, I don't do drugs or smoke and I do excellent in school. My parents, (dad especially) are driving me through the roof and I don't know what to do anymore. All throughout my childhood I have made close to no friends at all, I have one best friend and thats it, ONE. She is the only person I spend my time with because I'm not allowed around anyone else because my dad is always worried about me. She told me that I could call whenever I wanted to talk, but I didn't respond to her offer, and just said 'bye.' After she told me bye, and she stood on the line until I hung up. I never seem to keep friends, and I don't like people. I've been burned too many times, and I have usually been an outcast and kept to myself. I suffer from depression because I been through bad stuff. Mostly I want to be alone in the dark and silence, and I get very irritated when people break my silence. But one friend is still my friend after almost three years. I know I talk to much to him and am annoying to him because I do not really open up to anyone else. But he person still spends time with me. He even knows I can am annoying and has admitted it when asked, but still says yes to hanging out, and respects me and listens to me, and gives advice. I am sure he can find friends that aren't damaged like me and are less maintenance. I really care lots about my friend and would do anything I could for him. But I am no good at this stuff. Having someone listen to me is different, since nobody else ever does. I wonder what it is that I am doing that makes him actually want to spend time with me and listen to me, and my bullshit. My friend was told though a text that she is going to be homeless if she cannot find a place to rent within the next few months. Now she has no car and the job where she works is within walking distance of where she lives now.

So i'm 22 years old and I am not really interested in living a traditional life, mortgage, marriage, children etc, however all of my friends are about that and we often clash at times with conversations. I absolutely hate talking about children and marriage and all of my friends are getting married or getting engaged and are often talking down at me for not wanting these things. She told me that I could call whenever I wanted to talk, but I didn't respond to her offer, and just said 'bye.' After she told me bye, and she stood on the line until I hung up. I wonder if she was just going to use me as a spare/security blanket while she played the field again. Her past behavior exemplified this. Even though she said that the relationship (when we were officially a couple) because we were 'young and naive', yet she 'really cared a lot about me' and couldn't seem to let me go and feeling devastated when I finally said goodbye. Was she just trying to keep me on hold until she was done playing the field? I remember she told me 'if I was older, I would've stayed with you' before I finally confronted her and on that same night, she came onto me and I rejected her.
