Question: My aunt takes care of my daughter having problems with parental choices and rights? Posted: 17 Nov 2017 03:29 PM PST My daughter lives with my aunt for last 3 years my hisband and I went thru a financal devastation. My husband signed an affidavit giving her temerity custody but it only lasted a year I NEVER signed. Now my aunt is denying us visitation and won't allow her to spend the upcoming holidays with us. My issue is that my daughter is living well there they have money but she is taking control of my daughter. She told the school she was her mother and when I went to a school event my aunt flipped out saying I'm not invited and had the school remove me . What she wants is us to sign full custody over to her and we refuse too we have every intention of getting our daughter back in fact we have a stable home now both working non drug addicts and the court would have no problem sending her home with us. The only reason we haven't taken her back is she is midway thru school and we don't have enough to move into a two bedroom yet. We in a studio. But Techniqually we can go get her anytime because she has no rights for her. If she wants to take us to court to pay child support for her taking care of my daughter this far we have no issue with that but I will not give her custody. Any advice or correction to what I'm thinking about this situation. How far do her rights go and what are my options ? |
Question: What would these people be called? Posted: 17 Nov 2017 02:54 PM PST Ones that you say something out of the way to or just brush a little dust on their feet and they haul off and do something incredibly stupid to you. Ones that will 'kill' you over minor offenses. |
Question: I want to leave an abusive relationship but i don't know how? Posted: 17 Nov 2017 01:27 PM PST We've been together 7 years off and on. we have a 2 month old son, he doesn't hit me as much as he talks down on me, cusses me out and acts like he's going to just to see me jump but there are times he hits me, i left for a week to my moms but things there aren't good either and i don't like my son staying there so i came back. I want to leave but i'm scared not scared of him hurting me when i do, i just see no way out of this, every time i leave i always wonder if things will get better when i go back (the abuse started almost 2 years ago) and they are great for a while until i let my guard down. i feel like i'm always going to be lost and unhappy so why not stay because he takes care of my son financially he won't give me money, pay my bills or buy me what i need but he does for my son his parents are so over bearing and controlling as much as he is. we live across the road and they're at my house twice a day and try to take my son home with them and his mom calls herself "mommy" to him. they watch to see if my car leaves and message asking where i'm going (my boyfriend works night shift and sleeps from the time he comes home until it's time to leave for work) i don't know how to leave every part of me wants to but for some reason i stay |
Question: How to work around families and there plans during the holiday season? Posted: 17 Nov 2017 05:44 AM PST My girlfriend asked me to skip my family vacation because she was not invited. I was not able to go. Her family vacation rolls around I ask the same of her. She says nope she will be going no matter what. She apologizes for acting stupid before but that doesn't change now. What's the best way to approach this situation? Thanks |

Question: Why is my mom like this? Posted: 16 Nov 2017 11:23 PM PST I have been wanting to cut my hair for a while (I have always said I prefer it shorter) and I came home with my hair cut to my shoulders. It was only about 4 inches off and my mom flipped out. She said it looked horrible and had this look of disgust on her face and that she is too good for anything in the world. She said she "hated" it and the only reason that I got it was because my "*****" best friend got her hair cut too (which was a completely different haircut a month ago). I know she always liked long hair on me and that "your face shape only works with really long hair" but everyone else likes it and I love it. She even started saying I never listen to her advice and that I only listen to those who I shouldn't when she's my mom so I must "only" listen to her. I'm 18. I don't understand why she said this. I know SHE has been trying to grow her hair and mine grows 3-4 inches a month, but come on. |

Question: My friend upset me tonight, what should I do? Posted: 16 Nov 2017 09:10 PM PST I have a friend who we have been friends since childhood we are both young adults now. Since we have become young adults we haven t been friends like we were as teens and early 20s. In the past I was a bit bossy and wanting things my way. I have learn to change those things about me and I am happy with my progression. I have had people tell me that they see a change in me and they like it. Now every time I get around her she turns things into an argument and says things about how I use to be. I am not that person anymore and it annoys me. We went out tonight and her brother has transitioned. I said it hard for me to see him like that because I have known him to be a he for so long. I couldn t get my feelings out and she turned it around and said I was being disrespectful and not saying she. I m like I m barely around you or him and the last time I was he was a he. She argued with me in the restaurant. I had enough of the arguing and accusations, I told her our friendship ended a long time ago and I m tired. I don t feel like arguing about this, I m ready to move on with my life. She even cursed at me saying she will defend her sister. And I m thinking from what? I really don t think we can be friends anymore, how do you think I should handle this situation? |
Question: For the love of money? Posted: 16 Nov 2017 09:10 PM PST Hello, me and my significant other of 6 years is trying to figure out something. First, to start off by saying we've NEVER been apart( besides work). Both are 26yrs, 4 days apart,goofy...basically MyBEST friend. But his friend came to town offering a cable job that offers $700-$1000 vs his $700 every 2 weeks. This job is waaaaay in Oregon vs georgia. So much is happening in this world where I don't think he should take the offer ( he ask me what I think just to say he doesn't care of what I think). So I'm here just panicking, skeptical, trying hard not to be selfish. What do you guys think |
Posted: 16 Nov 2017 09:09 PM PST 5 years ago I got caught shoplifting 2 times in that same week and I hired a lawyer, he was able to get me off with 3 years probation. I got caught stealing yesterday from Walmart for the amount of $40. When I meet the same lawyer today he asked me why I did it again and I confessed to him that I always shoplift when I'm stressed out. I told him about how my husband (we are Arabic) makes me have sex with his brothers, friends and people online. Then I showed my lawyer the burn marks I got from my husband when I don't do what he wants. My lawyer started crying when I told him about this and he tried convincing me to arrest my husband. I told him I just want to take care of this first. I have 5 kids and don't want to put my husband in any trouble. By the way I'm 31 years old. My lawyer told me he will be able to get me off with no jail time since he knows the court well. Is that possible since it's my 3rd conviction? |
Posted: 16 Nov 2017 08:35 PM PST Okay so I was entering work . Just imagine it as a store I was walking in through the front , the windows are tinted on the outside but if your close to the door you can actually see the people inside . The people inside can perfectly see you clearly .! So I did see everyone inside but my boss at the front desk and a couple of people standing around having alil chit chat. My boss did notice me when I came close to the door , but then as soon as I grabbed open the door he turned his face around and looked down at the desk .that made me feel and gave me a vibe maybe he didn't want to say hi or something , but when I walked in this client was talking and I thought maybe something was wrong since this client was talking very loud in her language . So I just put my stuff away , mind my own business . When I came out of the room I felt awkward to say hi to him still cause he look down and I couldn't tell if he was okay to say hi to . We did talk alil bit very lil mainly it was things about work ..anyways when he left he said bye to everyone exspect me ! ☆ Sent from iOS Dr. Know! 1.1.02 |
Question: How to deal with my verbally abusive sister? Posted: 16 Nov 2017 07:54 PM PST My sister has always been emotionally unbalanced and feels like the world is out to get her & she has always not liked me. By emotionally unbalanced I mean that she is always so angry more than anything and then moves on from it like if nothing happened. She has told our mother that she hopes she goes to hell and that she hates her. She has told me that I'm fat (even though I'm not) and to go kill myself. She has called our father a pervert and a freak and calls him stupid. Last year my sister was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and while I understand that is difficult for her she uses it as an excuse to lash out more. Sometimes she says that she wishes I got the hyperthyroidism instead and that hurts my feelings because the hyperthroyid makes you throw up a lot and feel really sick. She also has to have everything be about her. My parents know that they can't compliment me in front of her or she'll freak out and have said so to me and only compliment me when she's not around. The other day my parents gave me the option of choosing what I wanted to watch on the tv and my sister got mad because she said we never watch anything that she wants to watch. She ended up ruining it and freaking out and while my dad finished watching the show with me every day of the week now he's watching her show with her which makes me mad because she disrespects him so much and doesn't even like him. She's 20 & will be transferring to another college soon & moving out but I can't take it anymore. |
Question: Does she think im annoying? Posted: 16 Nov 2017 07:10 PM PST Im doing a training with other people at this place. This woman is really important the most intelligent person. i feel im behind because I've had bad training experience before this while all of them had a great training at other places. she comes when im not there fix my notes spilling. She kinda stare when i spell wrong. In meetings when my group show off and i don't. she looks at me and say i know u dont have as many chances to practice as much as u really want. She told me she will send me to a differnt place to learn new things.had an empolyee who was rude with me i complained to someone else when she knew about that she apologized to the peraon that i told then she called me to her office and sent me to the other place she didn't tell me she knew about what happened and she didn't talk about it. She sent me to a new place comes daily to ask me if i learned she pushes me in a firendly way and ask people to give me a chance. she doesn't know how to relate to me as a person we dont talk at all she easily talk to my group but not me. she saw me getting along with my group and other people. Lots of empolyees go to her and tell her to give me chances to learn new things and send me to places tell her that they want to take care of me. when i talk about she smile look me in the eyes and she seems impressed. When she goes away she tells me that she won't be able to give me feedback and if i have issues i can email her and she tells me that the empolyees will take care of me. |

Question: How do I break up with my boyfriend when I just want space? Posted: 16 Nov 2017 03:13 PM PST He keeps crying every time I try. It's horrible because I really love him. I feel so emotionally numb at the moment. He just been so emotionally abusive just get me to stay with him. I just want space because I just don't want to see him right now. I want help for my depression he caused. He's literally always threatened to leave me and would tell me he wasn't sure if he wouldn't cheat on me someday which caused me extreme anxiety for 3 years |
Question: Should I forgive the lad who bullied me in high school? Posted: 16 Nov 2017 02:24 PM PST His name is Blake. He and his lads were stereotypical jocks and bullied me a lot. He slammed the side of my body into a pencil holder twice and everyone in the hall laughed, sat on my face and farted, made me smell his armpits after P.E. class, hit me several times in class and in PE when the teachers werent paying attention, dunked my head in the boys toilet, spread rumors that I had "girl parts" and threatened to pants me in school to "expose me" in front of everyone causing me to skip like four days a week out of fear, and a bunch of other cruel things to me that I cannot list. Some of his cronies (I don't know if he did this but if he didn't he absolutely knew about it) started messaging me to kill myself since nobody likes me and how ugly and stupid I was. I actually ended up getting diagnosed before I was even a junior by my doctor. Anyway - we graduated way back and now he is basically a brand new person, we randomly ran into each other at the store and I didn't recognize him at all, he was so different and he even has a wife and young daughter now. He asked me when we were alone if we could talk about "some of the things he did" back in high school and I agreed. I know I shouldn't have, because I have a feeling that he will apologize (he looked extremely regretful and sounded guilty when he talked to me) and I don't know if I forgive him or not, should I? |
