Question: My mom keeps accusing me of seeing her ex? Posted: 15 Nov 2017 01:43 PM PST Here is the link to the whole story, I ran out of characters on here https://alwayssannoyedd.tumblr.com/post/167530151500/mom-keeps-trying-to-accuse-me-of-seeing-her-ex So my mom was talking to this guy for awhile and they broke things off. After and throughout that time she has accused me several times and is still trying to accuse me of trying to mess around with him. The first time she accused me of being inappropriate when he was around because I wore my pajama shorts. mind you the times he would show up and see my mom was around 10pm and later. (When I would be getting ready for bed) And also some of the shorts I was wearing were ones she bought and suddenly she stated saying that they were "Too short"…When he would come around I would stay in my room unless I needed to come down to get something from the kitchen, take my dog to the bathroom, or use the bathroom myself. One time I didnt know she was coming inside with him and was bringing him upstairs (She accused me of knowing) I was going down stairs to get my food. Later on she revealed that he had "checked me out" and he said that I was being inappropriate by wearing shorts while my mom had company. No, I didn't know. And read the whole story before commenting. I want real answers on why people think she is being the way she is. |
Posted: 15 Nov 2017 01:39 PM PST This might be a long store but anyways. Well,I'm a 24 year old mild mentally disabled. When ever my dad gets in a bad mood or something is hurting him he will take out on me and my mom and yell at us. He has told me to shut up and I told him to make me and he says "No one can make you". Also when he gets mad at me he will come in my room and yell at me on top of his lungs and slam my bedroom door as hard as he can. He did this last Friday and when he slammed the door as hard as he could it opened itself and he slammed it as hard as he could. His dad which is my grandpa was a wife beater and moody too and then his dad which is my great grandfather he would make his son(My grandpa) work on the farm all the time when he was a little kid and also he would shoot and kill animals like dogs and probably cats too. My dad has been really moody lately a lot. I think because he is mad at me because he has a tooth ache and refuses to do anything about it and says he will wait to it feels better or heal its self. WTH??? It can't do that it will just get worse and worse. My dad has told me to shutup, called me a "B*tch" behind my back and lied and said he never said that and never would. He also told me I'm a idiot and little "Sh*t". He also yells at my mom too. Because she has lost 50% of her hearing in one of her ears. She was born with scoliosis. One time(in 2012) my dad was when so crazy for no reason and yelled at me and my mom and told us "F*ck you" and "F*ck you" to us and he also pushed me and I hit the couch. He acted like it was no big deal too. Also he was in the bathroom and was breaking stuff for no darn reason. I know this was wrong of me but I threatened to kill him and wasn't going to do that I just wanted to scare him. Because I wanted him to stop and I was seriously afraid he was gonna kill me,my dog or my mom. I was afraid of the life. I had to call the police twice in one night but the police would not do anything about it and he would quit being crazy when the cop was there and said he was gonna go back to bed. My dad said he has foregived me and he mentioned the other day that he the reason why he doesn't do much with me is because I threatened to kill him which is not true the reason why he said that. He said that only because he was mad at me because I wasn't telling him what I was talking about in counseling and if I was talking about him in there. He gave me a smart mouth reply saying "Well that answers the question" in a angry well. He said he will only do things with me when he wants to. My mom told me my dad said that when I move back home because he wanted me to because said he would do more with me and my dad said that is not true. That he never said that. I have told him several time I loved him and have proven everything that I would not kill him. I spend a lot more money on him more than he does for me. I buy him things for his birthday which I save for him, also for christmas and father's day. But he is still a jerk to me. He is that way to my mom too. We have tried to get him help but he refuses it all. He denies he does anything wrong. He is my caregiver and so is my mom. My mom is my legal guardian. I'm in CFH(Certified Family Housing). My mom won't let me move out which I honestly don't want to. It was hell when I lived on my own. I don't want to be in a group home and my the state won't let me because I'm too smart. I'm 24 now. He has been breaking my heart by telling me he will only do things with me when he wan't to and yelling and slamming the door all the time at me. He says he will stop and won't. I said I wanted to kill myself and he said that won't do me any good. Serious answers please. |

Question: My dad just welcomed his 8th child. I guess you could say I’m envious of him....? Posted: 15 Nov 2017 12:59 PM PST Not envious of all of the kids, but all of the women he gets. He's like a Mick Jagger but younger and not a rockstar. He's 60 and the woman he just had the baby with is 28 and is a coworker of his. He's in management. She just came back after being in grad school getting her PhD. She's stunningly good looking! Longer brunette, looks great without makeup, good body, etc. He had a baby 2 years ago with an intern who was 21 and she was a blonde bombshell! He took it hard when they broke up after she had the baby. Am I wrong to be envious of him? |

Posted: 15 Nov 2017 12:13 PM PST I m 15 and my parents told me "You can pack your **** and leave, nobody is stopping you" several times after somewhat minor arguments. At this point I want to move in with my friends parents as they have offered to adopt me before. The only thing about that is I ve read that my parents would have to give them permission in order for my friends parents to adopt me. Currently I live with my mom and my stepfather |

Posted: 15 Nov 2017 11:31 AM PST its become such a huge issue that i have to rush to get home after work, speeding through traffic so i can make sure i have my meals cooked and prepared before she gets off from HER job. because if she sees me cooking she nags and nags and nags and what is supposed to be a peaceful experience for me becomes miserable and toxic. cooking is my safe space after a long, hard day at work. and i of course always clean up after myself after i cook. i spend hours cooking and cleaning, and she says stuff like " this is why i hate you cooking i hate my kitchen being a mess" even though i slave hard to make sure the kitchen is spotless after cooking. but when she cooks one egg, she leaves the kitchen a disaster pots and pans everywhere, drawers open, and she'll even be too lazy to put the eggs back up. she also doesnt put butter or oil in the pan so the egg residue sticks to the pan making it impossible to clean. when my friends, boyfriend, and other family come over to visit to rave about my cooking. im considering go back to school for culinary arts just because its become such a huge passion of mines right now. i just graduated with a degree in communications but its not my passion and i dont think it ever was. i just pursued it to make my mother happy but ive come to find out she will never be happy. my mom only wants me to make the macorini and cheese for thanksgiving, but my dad said i could make the whole thanksgiving feast. my dad has become a huge fan of my cooking my dad was raving to his coworkers about how good of a cook his daughter was. and his coworkers were like " thats great and i commend her for that but your wife doesnt ever cook???" my dad was like " she stopped cooking a long time ago. she says she doesnt feel like it" and his coworker was like "thats a shame". and i work longer hours than she does and i still manage to cook and clean when i get off yet she shames me talking about its not enough cleanliness. she works part time, i work full |

Question: Parents tell my siblings my personal business to make me look dumb ? Posted: 15 Nov 2017 10:38 AM PST so i'm in highschool & as you probably know , these are the years i learn , experience , and go through many things , choices , and whatnot . i tell my mother things about my personal life , not because i want to but because she forces me in a way . like if i don't tell her things , she doesn't let me go out with friends or anything . but anyways , when i tell her these things , she thinks it's okay to tell my siblings and even sometimes laugh about it like i'm a joke . i find it very disgusting and hurtful how she breaks this trust constantly , yet forces personal things out of me . is what she's doing rightful & okay ? am i overreacting ? how do i deal with this ? if anyone could give me any advise as of what i should do to prevent feeling hurt & like an idiot all the time , i'd really appreciate it |

Question: Parents and teenage girls, was what my daughter did OK.? Posted: 15 Nov 2017 09:38 AM PST I got a call from the school that there was a problem with my daughter. When I got there they told me she had hit a boy on his hand with a ruler when he tried to put his hand in her pants. It had caused a big bruise. She then told him that if he tried that again, she would kick him in the balls. The principal (a guy) thought she deserved some punishment. I told him what she did was appropriate and she did not deserve some punishment. He said he disagreed. Mothers or teenage girls, what do you think of what my daughter did? Was it appropriate? Teenage girls, what would you have done in this situation? |

He doesn't have a job, he has anger issues, i hate being around him because be gets mad at everything and he always calls me a loser and he always tries to tell me to smoke. I am 14-years-old by the way. My parents have been wanting him to move out for like 10 years already. He just sits in his room all day and drinks beer and smokes. Question: Can an abused father get away from mother of children permanently? Posted: 15 Nov 2017 08:29 AM PST I dated a girl who was way too young to me over 3 years ago. When I finally had enough of they physical and mental abuse I left her and moved to Minnesota. In that time I was told she was pregnant and the child was mine and then suddenly she tells me that the child wasn't mine/ Then she wouldn't talk to me for months to a year until I would say something online about the woman I have been dating and am currently engaged to and then she would say the child was mine and then would change the story to she miscarried. Or I abandoned them. Then I find out she had a child but he wasn't mine. Then after 3 years of never even knowing the child's name let alone what he looked like I get asked to supply DNA. And find out I'm the father of a 3 year old boy. I want to spend time with him but the mother continues to insult me. My first meeting with him she puts it on facebooklive and in the video I'm called petty, a liar, I abandoned him, I'm dumb, I'm ugly, and I need to give her money. After everything she has put me through I can honestly say I want nothing to do with her, not even giving her child support cause this woman refuses to get a job. So I'm wondering is there any way that an abused father with proof she is abusive towards me can I get out of everything to do with this child because I want nothing to do with her, and to say I'm required to really isn't an option. Last time I had to deal with her I was beaten so bad my brain started to swell and I wanted to die. |
Question: Has anyone did anything that hurt you really bad? What was it? Posted: 15 Nov 2017 08:24 AM PST I was really liked this guy who lived far away from me (our parents were friends) it was literally love at first sight. When I went home I was looking forward to seeing him again, when we were travelling near his town, but when we went his parents fell out with my parents and they refused to see us, then we couldn't see eachother. I nearly died! I cried everynight. This was before the days of social media so keeping in touch long distance was nearly impossible. I've never got over that! |

Question: How can I get my parents to quit invading my privacy? Posted: 15 Nov 2017 08:10 AM PST I love my parents I really do, but my mom invades my privacy way too much. 1st last year I kept a journal and I was talking about how I was really depressed and how I feel like a burden on everyone. My dad found it and showed my mom and they didn't confront me until about 2 weeks later when I heard my mom on the phone with my aunt reading her everything in my journal. That really hurt. I asked her why she did that and didn't ask before reading it and she told me she wasn't discussing it with me. The second time is when my friend was over, and we were talking about how hot this guy was and my friend was like "he needs to get in my pants" which is our inside joke thing but anyways a few days after she left my mom yelled at me about how I wanted boys to get in my pants. I asked her how she knew and she said she was listening under the door. I tried to tell her it was a joke but she ignored me. The last thing that happened was when I saw her reading my texts. I found out for a while now she has been getting my text messages. I understand that parents have the right to see their kids messages but the thing is she has been going behind my back and lying to me about it. I saw her and I said hey is that me and _____ texts. And she said no. But I looked closer and it was. She then proceeded to say I lied to her when in the first place she never even asked to look at them and if she had I would have let her. I don't get why she does this. Any options? |

Posted: 15 Nov 2017 05:30 AM PST Today my Mom asked me to fetch something from her purse. When I opened it I found an already opened packet of Marlboro Lights in there. I have never seen my Mom smoke. I did not tell her that I saw it because I don't want to make her anxious. Should I ask her about the cigarettes or respect her privacy? PS - I live in India. Moms smoking is fairly uncommon |
Posted: 15 Nov 2017 04:27 AM PST I'm desperate for extended family. I guess it is cause I am OCD and it's an obsession. My Dad is an only child so he is alive but his family has died (his parents). My cousins are on my Mom's side and they are all close apparently but don't want to know me cause my Mom was not nice to them cause of her personality disorder. She died 5 years ago, I was so excited cause it meant her family would want to get to know me, they have not done so. I see them once a year at a reunion and that is all. They say they are busy when I call at Christmas time to try to bring a gift by. My grandmother, my Mom's Mom, I have only met 3 times and I am 23. How can I get her family to like me? What is wrong with me? |
Question: Why are my parents always looking at my butt? Posted: 15 Nov 2017 03:17 AM PST Like my mom, if she's facing away from me, and I go walking by, she'll make a point of turning around to look at it. She'll keep her eyes angled down to try and get a look at me. My dad too, if I'm walking past him he'll stare down at it, so I have to turn around. Like one day he was chasing me, just for fun or whatever, and he was staring down at it. Most of the time I have to turn around and walk backwards until I get away from them because I'm so sick of this. It disgusts me. I can't even be comfortable around them. Especially my mom since she is ALWAYS doing it. |

Question: Hello, millenials! I am here to ask a question I am wondering, could you please answer? Posted: 14 Nov 2017 09:24 PM PST I am trying to have a better relationship with my grandson, who quite frankly seems not to want anything to do with me. I want to become educated on the subjects he is interested in so we can be better pals. He is interested these things, known as "Fidget Spinners", "Dank May Mays" and a tragic death of someone named "Harambe". Please could you help me to learn about these subjects? Today's youth could learn a thing or two by socializing with elder generations... But oh well, if they won't come to us I suppose we'll have go to them. Many thanks to all who answer this question! |

Question: How to repair mother daughter relationship? Posted: 14 Nov 2017 08:44 PM PST Jenny says all she remembers of mom when she was very small was getting hit everyday for wetting the bed and for not waking up for school. I guess she was a deep sleeper. Jenny says mom treated me and my other siblings better than her. She is the middle child. Oldest brother was spoiled by both parents dispite extremely bad behavior. Oldest sister is an over achiever and me, the youngest I got away with things she never did. However, my mom worked very hard. Two jobs to support us and my disabled father. Oldest brother and Jenny would both get bad grades, and find a lot of trouble in school. Oldest brother got in trouble, but he still got treated special on birthdays and Christmas. Jenny got stuff but not as much. I think my brother just got away with more being the oldest. I think mom just felt Jenny was difficult. When Jenny had children, mom and her got along a bit. But Jenny is very strict with her children. She will take their beds and blankets away for a month for not going to bed at 8, and making her child eat food off the floor if they drop it even if it's half chewed. Slaps, Spanking with belts ect.. mom critics her for it. but Jenny still has a relationship with her children. They live a privileged life and she does care for them and does things my parents never could. It's like double personality, and mom has grown and changed but Jenny wont take advice from her and their relationship is in decline again. How can they repair the relationship? Barbie - I have considered CPS, but having dealt with foster care before I honestly don't think they would do any better there. I don't have the means to adopt them. They are older children so they can be separated, and not ever adopted. Many foster children are abused sexually and end up on the streets as an adult. Although life is sometimes hard for them now, I think they have a better chance at succeeding in life if they stay with their mom. She isn't always that bad, but sometimes she is. Barbie - My mom was apart of her life. She made a ton of mistakes parenting. But she worked hard to feed and cloth us, and give us an overall enjoyable life. She just didn't have a strong bond with my sister, and terrible communication between them. |

Question: My father recently passed away without a will, what do I do? Posted: 14 Nov 2017 08:09 PM PST He is (or was now that he has passed) to my step-mom. I know they owned home together, but my dad bought it well before he met her and per county records, I don't see her name listed under ownership but I kind of figure she will get the house since she was married to my Dad. There are some material possessions of my dad that he verbally told me I could have, but I don't know how that will work out exactly. I don't care if I end up with nothing I have my own life and my own savings and I would rather have my Dad alive, but I just want to know if I have any legal rights with regard to his home and assets. |

The tattoo is soecial, i was once blind (i got my vision back) and a quote that ive come to love and that has touched my heart, i want to get tattooed on me. My sister said she would take me on my last birthday and she has been busy and has not been able to. I told her i wanted to get it this friday and she said go for it. I was planning on going on my own and so i told her, she got frustrated and told me "DO NOT GO BY YOURSELF!" I understand why she does not want me to but would it be bad if I still went by myself anyway? |

Question: Am I being emotionally/verbally abused enough for the government to get involved? Posted: 14 Nov 2017 06:27 PM PST I know I might just be a whiny brat, but I have had many run ins with my father. He is a good man, truly he is, he pays for my education but refuses to pay for anything else, he takes me on vacation (when he goes), buys me things etc. but when he gets angry, like when I do something wrong or not to his satisfaction he blows up. Yells at me saying how I am "useless and an idiot, how I do too much and should just stay at my mom's house, how he wants to disappear from everything, (that's what he said in our current dispute but there is many more. and btw my mom is currently in Hawaii and he says I deserve to be there all alone) and I was so scared and stressed I burst into tears in the middle of my piano lesson. I feel like a stranger in my own home but I don't want to hurt my dad's feeling by living at my mom's permanently because he does love me... I just feel so conflicted and I want to cry and leave... help? |
Question: Why are my parents so poor? Posted: 14 Nov 2017 06:26 PM PST I really want to go somewhere, anywhere really, for Thanksgiving but my parents said they don't have enough money. Instead, they're taking me to my aunt and uncle's who lives in a closeby city from us for Thanksgiving dinner. Why can't my parents be rich and go on vacation whenever I want them to? Why are they so poor? And we're gonna go to my aunt's and uncle's for Christmas, too. Am I so unlucky that I have to live with these poor people? I'm fourteen and can't wait until I can get out of the house. I can't stand living with these poor folks anymore. Everyone at my school have new clothes and phones except for me. I still use an Android. :( |

Question: My family is ruining my relationship wth my daughter.. what can i do? Posted: 14 Nov 2017 05:52 PM PST I have 2 children, one is 13 years old, my other is 20. my relationship with my oldest is strained and we haven't got much of a relationship going on, its been like this for years and hasn't been getting better, but not dramatically worse either. my relationship with my wife is also nonexistent, we act more like bad roommates then a married couple, we have many reasons as to why we haven't divorced yet but thats not relevant to this question but yes i know all that sucks. my youngest however, she's just a sweetie. she is the only one in the house who is nice to me, actually acknowledges me, attempts to care about me (asks me questions, shows interest in what I'm doing), we never argue with each other and she is really calm and respectful. however, over the years, our relationship is slowly deteriorating. i noticed lately that when I'm home from work she will just greet me and not tell me anything about school but whenever her mom is there she will tell her all this that happened in school, talk to her more and just not try to converse with me even besides hello etc. what can i do? i have to admit that my oldest despises me because i was abusive physically and verbally to her mom (never her) and had a problem with cheating and gambling (thats in the past) and has seen many things, and we argue a lot in which I always call her out on her life (no job + no school, she's wasting her life). yes I do all of this in front of my youngest daughter and have (out of anger) told her that her mom and sister (my oldest) is bad, lazy, stupid etc. please help and I say my FAMILY is ruining my relationship with her because i already have strained relationships with them and sometimes they tell her that I'm bad, that she shouldn't listen to me, that a real good father wouldn't act like this and she should know that I'm bad and isn't anything to listen to. i admit i did wrong, but I'm trying to change, and anyway why would they ruin the only good relationship i have in my family? |

Posted: 14 Nov 2017 04:39 PM PST I feel like my cousins must think I am the worst and unfaithful. I hate this time of the year. The family lives in Seattle and we live near LA. My Mom doesn't want to travel to see them accept in the summer. They must think of us as the little known group of cousins, the 2nd rate family. I can't get over the shame. |
