So while I was putting his food on his plate he was staring at me and said that he remembered me from high school ( I didn't remember him though). Then a few days later after work, I was cleaning up and then he saw me and said "did you graduate in...2016" then I said yes and I asked him when he graduated and he said in 2015. Then I told him that I didn't remember him and he said "well I remember you. You looked so familiar." Then he asked me "do you stay in the barracks?" Then I said that I don't live on the ship and that I was in a squadron. Then he said " oh man. I would ask you out for drinks but you won't be here". Then I laughed it off and said "drink what?" Then he said "water" I guess he was trying to be funny lol. |

Our last date was on Halloween. After that though there was radio silence between us with her not replying to my texts. Eventually she texted me telling me she is going through some complicated stuff right now (she had a family emergency and also has a lot of school work to do) and is trying to figure it and figure herself out as well. I decided to give her space. Then yesterday at work you could feel there was tension and things were awkward. She even told my friend in private that things are awkward between her and I. My friend told me and I talked to her in private and said I didnt want things to be awkward and that i know she wants her space but that I am here for her if she needs me. She agreed with that and we talked like we usually did and laughed and joked. Now i havent texted her since she told me she is going through something. So I wanted to know if I should wait it out until she finishes this semester and figures out her family stuff. And then give her a heart felt card and christmas gift. Good idea? |

I've dated two guys who fit this 'type' and the last one was *perfect* in terms of what I'm attracted to looks-wise so doubt I'll find someone who compares physically. 2. I really don't want to continue to date different version of the same guys...sure every guy is different, but dating people who remind you of your ex's isn't healthy. 3. This 'type' includes guys from an ethnicity where the culture isn't very pro-woman, if they've grown-up in this culture then I'm concerned it could be a bit of a problem. Looks aren't everything but I can't really help who I'm attracted to, yet I'd like to get back to a place where I'm more open to being attracted to a wider range of people. I'm worried I'm a bit too keen on looking for guys who look exactly like this type and narrowing my options too much. |

Posted: 20 Nov 2017 07:28 PM PST This is my story i have been an obese guy i am now 22 and i have tried the best i could to lose some of the fat and get in shape. From a young age i was always the guy who hung out with guy friends the quiet friend and i did not talk to any girls because my single mother always told me to focus on school and don't focus on girls. This worked until i got into high school where i continue to live that way. The problem was as i got into high school i started to notice girls more and find some of them attracting. I stopped doing gym from my sophomore year until i graduated because there was this one girl who kept staring at me(look away and look back still staring type). Another was in my gym class the girls and guys would have separate time on the floor during an activity and i hated the feeling that i would have all these girls watching me. My senior year into my college years things got worse for when it came towards presentation. My body would start shaking and my head would get so heavy i could barely keep it up before and during presentations when ever i felt that there was an attractive girl in the room watching. Just recently i was at the gym and i was lifting weights and getting ready to hit the cardio machines and i was unable to do so. There is this pretty employee at the gym who had her shift right when i was going to the treadmill and the machines are right next to the desk the employees work at. I have listen to videos but it's really hard during the moment |

We sit right next to each other every day but we don't really talk a lot. In class we both try our best to listen so we keep any small talk at a minimum. Whenever we do talk it's usually about the course material. She seems kind of awkward whenever i'm around though. Whenever we talk she always gives me direct eye contact and smiles at me. I swear she has the cutest smile ever and it's like her entire face lights up whenever she does. Overall though we don't really interact a lot. I waited 4 days then texted her first hoping to clear things up and talk about seeing each other and spend time together over thanksgiving break. There's moments I've felt a mutual gaze just looking into each other's eyes without talking. She'd stare at me when she thinks I don't know. She graduated so I figured she'd move on I did but a couple things happened that made me realize something's there. I see her after not speaking for over a year and I look her way so she turns her head to make eye contact there's a long gaze I look away she didn't stop and it turned into her staring she didn't stop until I leave. Recently she talks to someone else on her right but stares at me so I catch her to hold a gaze and it's another moment of a mutual gaze I felt something. This has happened multiple times is it a sign of love. I just need to know the meaning behind having multiple mutual gazes the with someone the feeling from it and the meaning. Then a few days later after work, I was cleaning up and then he saw me and said "did you graduate in...2016" then I said yes and I asked him when he graduated and he said in 2015. Then I told him that I didn't remember him and he said "well I remember you. You looked so familiar." Then he asked me "do you stay in the barracks?" Then I said that I don't live on the ship and that I was in a squadron. Then he said " oh man. I would ask you out for drinks but you won't be here". Then I laughed it off and said "drink what?" Then he said "water" I guess he was trying to be funny lol. |

We just were talking all day today and then all of a sudden she does this. I don't get it. We have not had a fight in so long and things have been going great. And it feels like I've been shot in the gut, with no meaning in life now and I just don't know what to do now and I really need some help, thanks |
