Question: My pakistani boyfriend is muslim and wants me to convert, but does this make sense? Posted: 11 Nov 2017 07:43 PM PST I'm spanish and my boyfriend is pakistani, both 28years old. He is living and working in Spain. He is muslim and he told me he only wants to marry a woman who is muslim and raise children as muslims. This is not totally a problem for me as I appreciate islam. But what is worrying me a bit is that we are together for almost a year and now he wants to live with me,doing a normal married couple life as soon as possible. To note that we never had sex together at this point. As far as I know, parents in Pakistan try to marry their sons with their cousins, but he said me that he doesn't see his family for almost 8 years and they don't even know if he is already married and has kids or not,but he keeps sending them money especially for litlle brother's education (thats what he said). Is that possible? And if it is,would his family accept our relationship? Also,he is not legalized on the country due to work issues,I'm afraid. |

Posted: 11 Nov 2017 06:50 PM PST A guy saw me at a party, never spoke to me and friended me on fb a few weeks later. One year has passed. We ran into each other at a event recently and he passed by me multiple times, and THREW his head down really hard and looked at his cell to avert eye contact or convo as soon as he saw me. He is CUTE and a SOCIAL guy in general and talks to a lot of girls. Why is he acting like that? Update: I am just curious what would make someone act like that? |
Posted: 11 Nov 2017 06:21 PM PST John and Mary are married and live in the same house. One day, Mary put a scented candle in her room. John could not handle the strong scent, and so demanded that Mary got rid of the scent. The next day, he could still smell it because the scent lingered, and so he thought that Mary did not listen to him and disrespected his request. Mary actually did take away the candle, but John didn t believe her. And so he shattered a flower pot in her room, as well as dumping a picture of her deceased grandmother on the floor. Now they refuse to talk each other, even on the verge of divorce. Is this just a petty argument? Or something that a third party should help with? Names are made up. |

Question: Should I tell her that her now fiance cheated on her for a year? Posted: 11 Nov 2017 02:33 PM PST I started hooking up with his guy in October 2016 and shortly after found out he had a GF of 2 years. He lied and told me that they were close to being over and of course I believed him. He told me he loved me all the time and he took me and dates and we made love often. I moved back home almost 2 hours away back in May but we continued to talk and meet up. Two weekends ago we got a hotel room together and when we left he said "I love you". I found out that he proposed to his GF Thursday night. I'm in shock. What do I do? Should I tell her? Unfortunately I don't have any texts between us anymore and he won't answer any of my texts. I texted him that I have never hated someone as much as I hate him and I don't know how he lives with himself I should also add that he said they broke up back in May |

Question: Buying a 2nd home cash offer? Posted: 11 Nov 2017 01:34 PM PST My husband and I are buying a 2nd home. They are asking $115,000 which is a steal!! We are offering $105,000 CASH. Do you think this is a fair offer? It's a smaller home 2BR 2.5BA. Are sellers more likely to take a cash offer at a lower price? The home is vacant so hoping for a quick sale/close. |

Question: Mother in law just told me...? Posted: 11 Nov 2017 01:25 PM PST that my husband is telling her he will be moving back to his home state in the next few years. She thinks probably after our kid graduates from high school. He has been talking to me about selling his businness recently. Things haven't been great over the last few years and this sounds like he is planning divorce at his greatest convenience. If I knew the were the case, I wouldn't waste another minute with him. Of course, he wouldn't admit if this were the plan. What would you do? What do you think? |

Question: How do I handle my feelings of hurt and anger? Posted: 11 Nov 2017 07:05 AM PST My father died in 2012. A week ago I was at a church service where they were lighting candles for people who had passed away and people were free to give a statement at the same time. I am new there and did not participate. Afterwards I was talking to the husband of a woman I kind of know from the church. We are facebook friends and I have spent time with her at the church on 4 different occasions. Sitting across from her husband who I had just met (we were having lunch after church but the lunch was in the church) I started to tell him that I was memoralizing my father. That he ha died and even though he remarried, he confessed to a nurse on his deathbed that although divorced and remarried, he always still loved my mother. (She divorced him for cheating on her.) That is all I said! At this point the husband raises his arms and hands literally, holds them up and bellows (yes bellows) "I don't know anything about that kind of stuff and I hope I never have to". Needless to say the conversation was over but I was hurt and embarrassed. I thought talking about my father was appropriate due to the fact we had just had a candle memorial service. Now I feel nervous around this man and would like to get it off my chest that his reaction was not helpful. But I am not sure how to do this, when to do this or if I should do this. I would like to get to know his wife better but after seeing how he can be insensitive I now feel uncomfortable about asking her to go to lunch or for coffee. The reason I told him what he told the nurse was because he (the man I was sitting across from after the memorial service) made a comment that people who love each other often or sometimes die at the same time. You see, my mother died 24 hours after my father did. So in response to him bringing that up..about people who loved each other..I then commented, "Yes, my father confessed on his deathbed he still loved my mother despite being divorced". |
Posted: 10 Nov 2017 10:27 PM PST My husband & I are flying to Fort Lauderdale, FL to see my best friend get married. We'll b there over New Years & stay 1 wk. The only thing we have saved up is plane tickets, that was 2 months ago! It's less than 2 mnths away until we leave & I can't get my husband to stop blowing money every chance he gets! We don't have a hotel yet or a rental car paid for or reserved!! My husband gets draws at work for no reason! He takes our 10 yr old daughter to Walmart and buys toys. No occasion. Sometimes he comes home broke, no groceries, out of gas, & hungry! But he has spent over $200 on toys. Every time I say something about his spending habits I am accused of nagging or bitching at him (cop-out!) & of corse I am alwYs the Bad-Guy for nagging and in my kids eyes cuz she thinks I don't want her to get stuff! This is a once in a lifetime chance to see my best friend get married relax on the beach bring in the New Years with my hubby & have a good time! DONT WANT TO worry about WHERE WE R GETTING OUR NEXT MEAL FROM & WHERE WE CSN LAY OUR HEADS TO REST. hopefully one that will be able to bring good memories home with. Nothing too extraordinary, just paid for! I don't see how we will have any money saved in less than 2 mths & right after x-mas 2!! Especially if I keep my mouth shut & and let him keep blowing all of our money! What can I do to get him to save for the trip and stop blowing all of his cash? & do it w/-out him accusing me of nagging? I am out of ideas! Plz help! |
Question: Should i get help? I have never had this much difficulty before.? Posted: 10 Nov 2017 09:22 PM PST Its been three years since my ex girlfriend left me for another guy. I have a six year old beautiful daughter with her. We live together for five years. To this day i still miss her. She wouldnt even give me the decency of saying that she left me for someone else. I have been doing all the positive things to move forward with my life. I spend 3 to 4 days a week at the gym, get out and meet people. However, i seems like people sense theres something up with me. Im still hurt after 3 years just like the breakup was yesterday. Is there something wrong with me. Im tired of get screwed over by people i love. It feels like i will never get over her. |
Question: I have a two month old baby boy and I already want another?!? Posted: 10 Nov 2017 05:41 PM PST I have the biggest urge to conceive again. Although the stress/mood swings weren't fun, I can say that overall I really loved being pregnant. I want 3-4 children and I want them really close together in age. I would love to have a big family but I am afraid of what my husband would say if I told him I was already wanting another baby. How do you tell your partner without freaking them out?? I am 25, my husband is almost 35. I would like to have all of my children before my early thirties. |
Question: Husband turned off phone, cut off all communication when he was out of town.? Posted: 10 Nov 2017 05:52 AM PST Last week, my husband was out of town for work for about 5 days. On the second to last night, we got into a small argument. I had asked him who was going on this trip, and he said it was only him and another guy. So on this night, he was telling me about something that involved a big group of people. I was confused because he had told me it was only two people going, so I asked him if there were any women there. ( Yes, I have trust issues with my husband because of his poor decisions in the past) He told me no, but with an attitude. I calmly asked him not to have an attitude. That's when he flipped out on me and refused to even talk to me. I decided to give him an hour to cool off, I called, but no answer. I proceeded to try to contact him the rest of the night with no response. I even texted him and asked him to at least let me know that he was okay, and he couldn't even do that. He didn't answer his phone until the next morning. Like I said, I do have trust issues because of my husband being a liar and being deceitful behind my back on numerous occasions. He claims that he was in his hotel room, watching football and reading all night. He claims he did nothing wrong but I can't help but have doubts. Do you think it's messed up for a husband to ignore his wife all night long, over a small argument, especially being that he was out of town?? |
