Question: Would a friend even do this? Posted: 09 Nov 2017 05:42 PM PST Old roommate and former friend threatened to talk to my parents because he thought I was depressed because I was not talking to him for two days, when I was not. I was just busy with school work and job applications? Did he go off the deep end in trying to talk to my parents? |
Posted: 09 Nov 2017 05:32 PM PST She is going to be 42. I'm a female as well and I'm 24. So she invites to her birthday then says I can't come by making up some excuse. This is her 3/4 times doing this too me. The first time excuse I can't remember. The first time she said she is having a birthday party and that I'm invited. The she lies and says I can't come because she is not doing anything for her birthday. Which was a lie because she went out to pizza hut with all the other people that she invited and the program we were in which was the staff didn't do anything about it. Then this time she says I'm invited and she said this in front of my mom and promised me and now she says I can't come because she is going out with her dad. I know this is a lie. I tried doing this to her but it didn't work because then I would of been fooling her roommates because that have to go wherever she goes and I didn't want to do that to them. Because they never do that to me. The program that I was in the time never did anything about it when she would do that. Now I live at home with my parents. I have disabilities. But don't use that has as excuse for her please. Because she knows better and seems pretty normal. I have disabilities and don't do that. I cussed her out saying "So I cannot come then?" then later on I said "Good to f*cking know ***** because you are a retarded liar disabled mother f*cker! That lies all the time. You are a retard!". And know I don't pick on people with disabilities either. I say this to her because she is mean to me a lot. |
Question: I found out something about a close friend I wish I didn't find out about. Help please? Posted: 09 Nov 2017 05:30 PM PST To make a long story short, I found out that one of my closest friends was arrested for molesting a minor a few months ago. He was bailed out for $100,000 and is currently on parole and wearing an ankle monitor. This close friend happens to be one of my managers. I have noticed the ankle monitor a couple of times, but didn't think anything of it and forgot about it. I don't think anyone at my work knows the whole story other than probably my GM. Like I said, this guy is one of my closest friends and has been there for me and has always been the person to go to for relationship advice and other stuff. I don't want to lose him as a friend. What should I do? Should I ask why he has the monitor on? Should I let him know that I know? Can I still be friends with a sex offender?? I know it's weird to have this kind of friendship/relationship with a boss figure, but where I work, it's like a big retail family and everyone gets along great. I just don't want this revelation to get in the way of my friendship with him since it 1) has nothing to do with me and 2) it's none of my business |

Question: Is it normal to have no friends in high school? Posted: 09 Nov 2017 04:48 PM PST I recently moved to a new school and I haven't had really anyone to talk to because they all have their own little cliques and squads. |
Posted: 09 Nov 2017 03:57 PM PST Ok, I have met him in London in a restaurant during my trip back in August. I was seated next to him but happened we got into a conversation happened to be we were the same ethnicity which was funny because my ethnicity is not very popular. We actually took pictures I have like 3 or 4 pictures of me and him and thankfully they are clear images. I just know some basic info about him like where his family was from since he told me but is there such thing for something online where you can buy or for free try to find someone based on my image I have of him. Thankfully its clear images but I want to reconnect with him as friends. NOW i want to find him and reconnect I am hoping my pictures will help me reach him. I am pretty sure he is not a regular who always goes to that restaurant, so people have told me to contact the restaurant but that is not helpful at all I wouldn't even do that it would be weird. Is there such thing as a website where you can find someone from a picture of us 2 together. For example, let's say you have a picture of someone you met during a trip I'm speaking good quality photos is there such thing as a website where you can upload that photo or somewhere you can use those photos to find someone such as a social media place or somewhere from the picture that you have with the guy you are looking for. |
Question: Is he too proud to admit he wants me back? Posted: 09 Nov 2017 03:21 PM PST He and I broke up 2 months ago and I started going to church and found him staring at me 2 weeks in a row so I texted him but he said he was offended which is why it wouldn't work and why he wouldn't allow himself to have feelings for me again. I didn't respond. I've been going to church since then it's been almost a month, i don't look at him and have given him a dirty look couple times. He literally doesn't take his eyes off me my family says...confused. My friends say it's a longing stare |

Posted: 09 Nov 2017 02:37 PM PST It was hard to do but I needed to know what is happening. Oh wow, did I hear all the lies she's telling me, stole my money, had friends over and I am just in shock. How can I trust her anymore? She said sorry and it is the 1st time she's disrespected the house rules but I just don't believe her. |

Question: Does this mean my friend dosent want to hang out anymore? Posted: 09 Nov 2017 01:38 PM PST Okay so here's what happened like literally everytime i try to ask my friend to hang out or go to the Gym with me she always says she's busy with work or she can't.. Like the other day she said she was gonna come over to my house and give me an party invitation on Tuesday and apparently she told me she couldn't come because she had to pay a bill but yet on that same day I seen that she posted a picture that she went to the Gym but didn't even ask if I wanted to come along Like wtf Also I haven't even done anything wrong for my friend not want to hang out with me she technically just stopped hanging out with me out of nowhere. Someone help me please I already asked this question but got no answers and I really need advice |
Question: How to make my ex friend jealous? Posted: 09 Nov 2017 01:37 PM PST So this girl and I have been inseparable for years. Lately, I've noticed she's honestly so fake. I myself, have always been honest to everybody, if I don't like you, I won't be mean or pretend I love you I'll just politely let you know my feelings then leave you be. Recently, she cancelled plans we had for over a month over a stupid excuse that wasn't true. She blamed me for it, saying I was ignoreing her, when actually all week she had been ignoring me. We argued and said equally rude things and that next keinifn she played victim with all of our other friends and won't leave the guy I talk to alone. Is there a way to get back? Don't bother with the forgive and move on crap please. I don't have many other friends bc most people my age don't match my maturity level. |
Question: Am I over thinking this? Posted: 09 Nov 2017 01:26 PM PST I'm asking this again for more input: I'm a little worried my shyness is coming off as weirdness at work. I work with primarily women at my job, and I have always been shy around women. To make matters work, I've always been horrible with small talk and I don't have much to add to conversations at work. People like me in my department, since I usually make them laugh and tell jokes, etc. I'm a big sci-fi comic book geek, and one person in particular (different department) seems to like the same things I do. I've never been able to get a conversation started with her, mainly since she really walks fast though where I work and I don't get a chance to ask say hi or ask her a question. I am usually left there with a blank stare and mouth open, not getting a word in. Of course, I'm probably over thinking it, but I'm afraid this is creepy, and I certainly don't want to hit on her as well. Should I just not talk to her so I don't make matters worse? I did try to send her an email at work about a game she was running, offering my help and game books. But that conversation died, and she never came up to me at work asking for the items she said she might need for the game. I didn't want to push things. |
Posted: 09 Nov 2017 12:56 PM PST My best friend sells cars for a living. Her dad is a mechanic and owns his own dealership. Shes surrounded by people who have a great deal of knowledge about cars. We were texting today and she said shes been talking to my boyfriend about winter beaters. I instantly felt my heart rate increase and my stomach dropped. I was jealous and upset and bothered. I didn't understand why she had to reach out to him. But i also don't understand why it bothered me so much. Am i crazy for being upset that my best friend was making conversation with my boyfriend? You think there's a greater reason behind why i feel the way i feel? |

Question: How do I end this friendship? Posted: 09 Nov 2017 11:31 AM PST So I have this guy friend, who I dated for a bit a couple of years ago, but was never really that into romantically (nor he me for that matter). We met on Tinder, but after 6 months he told me the only reason he went out with me was to try and get over his other female friend who doesn't want him but whom he's besotted with. But we stayed friends after. We've never really had that much in common (he's a computer programmer and has little interest in things outside his field, and I'm a language nerd who wants to see the world), but now it's more obvious than ever. I saw him for the first time in months yesterday (I recently graduated the university we both attended, and went back to visit), and oh God it was awkward! We went to the cafeteria to get food, and even though I was the one eating, he did almost nothing to keep the conversation going except spitting out platitudes like "it's great to see you," and "it's nice outside" and somehow expected me to do all the talking. Even when I asked him to talk more he said "I just like to listen." He doesn't have any opinions about anything, and he's sometimes super-needy. His passivity is becoming extremely annoying and the friendship is so unfulfilling, but he still texts me ALL THE TIME. How do I ditch this guy? Is a slow fade acceptable? |
Question: I like my friends older sister? Posted: 09 Nov 2017 10:34 AM PST Ok so I'm really good friends with like three siblings ones my age and the other two are older. We all know each other from church and have become really good friends. I've noticed though over time I've kind of developed this close friendship with the older sister fist of all let me just say she's awesome. She had a great sense of humor she's smart and she's cute and just a great person to be around. We sit next to each other at church and joke around every time we see each other. We have an awesome friendship but I'm afraid It would ruin things if I pursued her in anyway not to mention it could ruin my friendships with her two brothers. Should I just get over it? |

Posted: 09 Nov 2017 04:15 AM PST She was my only friend because I was friend zoned but I was doing favors for her such as giving her rides often, lending her money and buying her stuff. She changed since then but in the back of my mind I didn't trust her. Everything she did nice to me felt like she was playing with me. We went out but I still didn't trust her. Then we went back to being friends again because she said I was too young and wouldn't understand what she wants in her life. This whole time I didn't trust a word she said but now that I've lost her I'm starting to regret not trusting her. Maybe if I had trusted her from the start things would have been different. Was I wrong to think she was using me even though I knew her situation was grim even though at the beginning she was constantly asking me to lend her money on a weekly basis for months? |

Question: How do I ask a guest to leave ? Posted: 09 Nov 2017 02:18 AM PST My roommate, Sam, and I have been letting Devon, stay with us . He doesn't pay any rent, but he did some housework and a lot of cooking . We let Devon smoke pot in my house . Sam's sister doesn't approve of Devon smoking pot . I know we can get into trouble for that . Sam's sister also doesn't approve of Devon staying in my house for free . The supervisors of my trust fund are in charge of my house, and they don't approve of Devon being there either . Devon works so he does get a paycheck . Sam and I think it's time Devon moves out so we can keep the drama in our lives at a minimum . Devon got paid on October twenty -- second, and he didn't move out . He got paid again on November eighth, and he hasn't moved out yet . He has checked on a few apartments and he's talked about moving to a motel . Devon could also move in with his friend Larry . Tonight has asked me to look through a plastic grocery bag for his loaf of raisin bread . When I looked for his raisin bread, some of his belongings got shifted around, and he didn't like that . He SHOULD have looked for his own raisin bread . How can Sam and I ask Devon to leave ? I hope we can get Devon to move out before next week ends . I don't want to say anything about "Look for your own damn raisin bread !" because there are plenty of other reasons why Devon should move out . Thank you in advance for your answers . What do I do if I say "You have a week to move out !", and he's still here at the end of the week ? |
Question: Do I have social anxiety? Posted: 09 Nov 2017 01:54 AM PST don't get me wrong, I'm not doing this for any attention. I'm on anonymous anyways. My grandma & dad say I might have it. I have always been popular . I get like 200-400 likes on my insta, I have a lot of friends. but still I never feel good enough. couple months ago I remember an incident where this girl I've texted on Snapchat. One grade ahead of me asked how I did on a test ( I was in advanced) I said " are you talking to me" and I remember my leg started shaking . I got so nervous I could just cry. This happens quite often but with certain people. If it's someone that I feel like they're going to judge me. Like when I talk to even my favorite teacher that I feel confident around, I always can't get my phrases out. Like i always mess up words and it's not ok. I'm only 13 btw. But I also can go up to people and talk. Like these popular people approached me to be their friend and always messgae me first, but I still feel not good enough even though I know I need to be there friend. If like I text someone and then see them in person that's when I start shaking . Is this normal? ( I moved to a new school a couple months ago but that one incident about being so nervous was at my other school , so being new isn't an excuse ) I don't know tho . People always give me compliments everyday. Of course I don't believe them but they make me happy . |

Question: How to deal with friend judging how much you eat? Posted: 08 Nov 2017 11:49 PM PST My friend/roommate tends to judge how much I eat. She'll say something about how my chips are almost gone already, and tonight at dinner(we ate the same thing) she said I must have been hungry to finish that, but I pointed out she finished hers too. She pointed to one small bite of vegetables on her plate and said she didn't finish hers, as though she couldn't accept that she ate as much as me. What I eat really isn't her concern, and I don't eat that much and exercise regularly and I'm not fat so it's not a health issue. What should I tell her next time she makes a comment like this? |

Question: Will things get better? Posted: 08 Nov 2017 10:20 PM PST I went to a club meeting today and idk feel confused. I have been to almost every meeting. I haven't really made a good connection there as I am still this awkward guy. Today I got pared with some upperclassmen to like mentor or like guide me or whatever. We went out to like applebees afte the meeting and he was nice and **** but fear my awkwardness is obvious. Like my handshakes were like retarded as hell and don't know how to do them correctly. I haven't been drinking other than one time which was with my roommate like when people were moving in and they seem like big time partiers. Will I turn them off and will I be okay with them? I am cool with parties and get bummed out about never been to one other than that one time with my roommate but it was just dudes playing pong. Like got no game with girls and they seem to get girls easily. |
Question: Why do my former bullies still hate me even in adulthood? What did I do to them? Posted: 08 Nov 2017 09:34 PM PST The worst time in my young life was middle school. I was bullied constantly and told nearly everyday to kill myself. For five years I had no friends, I tried, though. Attempting to make friends with fellow outcasts, but even with them I didn't fit in. More than anyone else, a group of about 10 boys bullied me to no end. Every single day I stood alone, ate alone, and did learned alone. At recess I would read a book or do homework. I guess I was an easy target since I was alone but these boys would come up to me, poke fun, say horrible things and take whatever I was holding and throw it in the garbage. And I am a girl, so, the sensitivities go deep. That was years ago. I'm 24 now, and these people have went off to be friends with people I managed to make friends with, and they still continue to bully me. I'm a freak and a loser, apparently. I will admit, even as a kid I was a bit eccentric and wore some pretty brave outfits and read books that my classmates couldn't. What did a person without friends have to lose ,anyway? People were going to make fun no matter what, so I didn't conform since it just wasn't who I was. Anywho, why do they hate me; it's been years? |

Question: Should I confront my friend about this? Posted: 08 Nov 2017 08:49 PM PST There has been a lot of tension between my friend and I the last couple of weeks because of something that I will not waste your time with here. I don t know whether to confront her or not. In the past, things have usually worked out on their own. This time, I feel like it s different. I WANT to confront her about it. Should I? Will se get mad at me? What if she stops being friends with me? |
Posted: 08 Nov 2017 08:24 PM PST My best friend since the beginning of high school who is very emotionally unavailable and high achieving is very stressed right now with uni and high grade expectations and I want to reach out and be there for her but it seems like she's pulling away from me and im chasing after her. She will talk to her other friends about whats making her upset and complain about her grades but im the one reaching out and willingly making myself available yet Im getting pushed aside. Ive approached her physically in class and she walked away from me. She is very silent around me now and doesn't offer much eye contact. I keep going to her in hopes to talk but it seems like she is disregarding me and talking to everyone else but me. Her body language and actions overall tell me she doesn't want to talk or be around me. This is really hurting my feelings so I told her about it today and completely opened up. I cried about this last night and wrote notes in my phone. I told her how it was hurting my feelings and making me feel neglected and I let her read my notes. She was oblivious to the fact any of her actions were hurting me and had trouble talking.. She mainly responded to what happened rather than my feelings. She was justifying her behaviour and why it made sense to her, except she would not acknowledge my feelings and she is just unable to understand.. Overall she didn't say much and I am still hurting because she gave me the impression she doesn't care about how she is hurting me. |
Posted: 08 Nov 2017 08:16 PM PST 2 female classmates and I were really close like buddies for like 2 months now. One day I walked in looking gorgeous with earrings on and at that time, I could tell the girls were kinda intimidated by me. From then on, they seem more distant to me. Just less interested in talking to me but they only talk to me whenever I talk to them. Other than that, they don't seem to really wanna talk to me. They would still lend me stuff and help me out but it just doesn't feel the same anymore. When we all have conversation together, I feel like they would only talk to each other and exclude me out of the conversation. Should I move on? I don't wanna continue making them feel uncomfortable. |
Question: I don’t want to be her friend anymore???? What should I do? Posted: 08 Nov 2017 08:08 PM PST So I just moved to a new highschool and I had no friends until I met this one girl. We kind of hit it off but have this sisterly verbal fighting friendship that worked kind of worked out. Anyways it's been 3 months and I realize I don't want to be friends with her anymore. 1. She really doesn't know how to treat people with respect. Like I'm always obligated to follow her. She only does what she likes and if she doesn't want to do something I want to she refuses to even try to tolerate it. 2. I am always the one to say hi and bye. She just doesn't have the **** to just greet me, like girl wtf. 3. (Again the respect) She doesn't even try to talk to me anymore. We talked quite a bit the first 2 months I knew her. But now, while we eat lunch together ( where she wants to) she doesn't even look at me. If I didn't say hi to her every lunch we'd probably not say a word. And she usually doesn't even say hi back, she just freaking looks at me. This girl just doesn't know how to treat people who wants to be her friend. She makes me feel like **** , as if I wasn't even there. I want to leave except that her mom, who works at school knows me, and I have a class with her in which I sit directly next to her. Plus I'm not that kind of person who just leaves her friends out of the blue. I can't hild grudges and I don't like ignoring people. But this friendship is hurting me and getting me pissed. What should I do? |

Question: Why would my female coworker and friend be hurt because of this...? Posted: 08 Nov 2017 07:49 PM PST She told me that she got a job promotion. I got mad and jealous and told her that I wanted to be separated from her. She cried and told me that her mom and dad was dead and how she don't have a car (comparing her bad parts with my good parts). I was so hurt and depressed over her success,i didn't want to hear it. Before, she used to follow me around and always talk to me, trying to be my friend. Now she done moved on and im still in the same rut. This was a year ago and I still think about it. |
Question: Would you consider this bullying or friendly banter? Posted: 08 Nov 2017 07:47 PM PST Recently I've started to get insulted by the things my friends are saying. We've always been a very blunt and sarcastic group but normally stayed away from personal stuff like how we're dressed or personal appearances. Now though they've started to make fun of things about me and I don't know if they're joking or not. Here's some examples. Any time I even try to dress nice they make fun of me and say I'm dressing for someone else. Or they'll say something like "you tried today!" which is insulting because I usually do try to look decent. Another example happened just today. Two days ago I cut my hair pretty short and was very excited by how it looks. Well two of my friends came up and said my hair looked cute then proceeded to say that I look younger and have a baby face. Very hurtful to me. They also make fun of the music I listen to. The way I walk. My facial expressions and more. They think I drive to carefully (you know...actually going the speed limit and such) and they make fun of my lack of driving. I don't drive much because I don't go out much. Personal preference seeing as they listen to cussing rap music that talks about sex and go to not so safe areas. Every time they say something I laugh it off or make fun of my self as a protective mechanism. I don't know if I'm just taking things the wrong way or if they're actually trying to insult me. What do you think? |

We got close through texting and now we want to hang out more but our parents won t let us do anything together just us there has to be another girl/guy there or we can t do anything, We both think of each other as brother and sister. But when we try to explain it to our parents they say things like "trying to protect us" and I want to know what they mean by this or if there s a way to convince them we re just friends. |

Question: Would I ever be able to get her back???? Posted: 08 Nov 2017 06:37 PM PST Hello, i had a bestfriend for 5 years and She meant the world to me. and she was a true friend. But we had a falling out in April of this year, We had a fight that was unfortunately my fault, and she told me she never wanted to talk to me ever again. But I spent 4 days straight trying to contact her because I felt really bad. I tried texting her everyday and I even sent her 2 long letters to her house, I admit I was suffocating her. Eventually a cop came to my house telling me to leave her alone because she's had enough. I haven't been able to get over her, what makes it worse is that I was starting to have feelings for her. But I was scared to say anything to her and now everything is over!!!! What am I supposed to doo?? Would I ever be able to get her back??? |
