Going a year without any communication, I look to see if someone's her it is and she locked eyes with me for a long time, I break eye contact. She continues until I leave almost like nothing stops her. I go months without anything and mid conversation with someone else she's staring at me while speaking to someone else not even looking at them and her body angled towards me, I stare back at her thinking of the last time she . It's like nobody else matters something has to interrupt it (has to stop eventually). Other people are ignored in a way. I can't find myself looking someone in the eyes that long I don't think I've found anyone who's looked at me that long. We haven't dated or anything. Does it mean we're soulmates or what. |

Posted: 30 Nov 2017 07:02 PM PST I made the error a few months ago of dragging out asking someone out until the last possible minute and by then it being too late. I liked her for a few years and always psyched myself out and placed a huge degree of importance on something that really wasn't that important. I'm 18 and she was the first girl I thought "holy sh.. you should actually ask her out". I did, eventually, just before we were about to go to college in different cities hundreds of miles away. I had to, despite knowing exactly what she'd say, for a bit of closure. She said no, citing that reason. The fact is I never let her know what she meant to me, I'd think about our little conversations all day, they'd give me a boost and she never knew. She never knew that I'd get ill some days thinking about asking her out later in the day, so I'd do nothing. Maybe it's best she didn't know, but it shows how much I really cared about her. Whether she was as great as my infatuation led me to believe is anyone's guess and I don't know if she was the right person but it was definitely the wrong time. I still think about her every 2 weeks or so and wish things had been different. Now I feel like it'll be awkward speaking to her cause it was random and it's very likely we'll never speak again cause of distance and not being close friends during school. Is there any way of letting her know or being cool in the future? Or do I chalk it up to experience and forget about her. Just wish we could've gone on a date. |

Like the last girl I was with, I chose because I always thought she was a good girl that would keep me in check and for years, that's how it was. She didn't like it when I drank or anything. 2 months after we broke up, her friend told me she was already pregnant by some scrawny trailer trash and was basically becoming an alcoholic. Texted her a day or 2 later saying I'd like to continue our discussion over coffee. She said yes, always down for coffee. Gave me her free times, I gave her mine, no reply. Waited a week texted her that weeks free times. No response. Almost been 2 weeks. Did I botch it? Should I have called after she said yes? Did she change her mind or didn't want to sound rude? Just curious what route to go now. Wait and try calling or give it up? |

Lately I ve been feeling smothered and I ask him if we can slow down and if I can take some space to reflect on the relationship. His response was "no I don t want you to be distant no space. But definatly think things over" this threw me off and I need outside perspective on how to handle him and his lack of space. |

Perfect smile, perfect body, and she knows how to joke around and act herself. She's not one of those pretty girls who just whines and complains all day long. I couldn't imagine ever finding a girl who is both gorgeous and has an amazing personality like that. This is perfect. We've gotten to know each other and she's comfortable around me. She tells me a lot about herself(her likes, hates, and interests) and sometimes teases me or partner up with me in class. The problem is that she's popular and the douchebag-acting fools try to talk to her sometimes. I don't know how to tell her how I feel. I asked her if she has a boyfriend and she said no. Would she give me a chance? I'm in high school. |
