I cannot fall asleep fast and they will probably assume i am asleep, and I really just want it to be quiet, how do I do that

Basically my husband and I moved recently. With our kids. We have 4 kids, a 4 year old girl, 6 year old twins ( boys) and a 9 year old girl. All our kids are adopted, so they look very different than us. Our neighbor constantly will do things like call the police saying we abuse our children ( we would never do That! We don't even spank them, we sit them down and tell them what they did wrong instead. ) and she attempted to get CPS to take our kids away. She calls my husband and I fags and tells us we're going to hell in front of our kids! We don't have enough money to move again, what should we do?!

Context: I've been platonic friends with this guy for a few years and nothing has ever happened between us. We've hung out the two of us many times and it's never been "date-y" and nothing has ever happened with a lot of alcohol in our systems. Said friend recently saved my life so I gave him a very nice card and bought a gift he wanted that wasn't cheap (~$100). It wasn't until I told a friend about this and she asked me if I liked him. This didn't occur to me at *all* as coming off that way, but would it? I am just so grateful so that was the last thing on my mind.

I am a professional single woman with no children. My sister wants me to move to a European country where she resides and she is very happy. If I move there I can do my profession but the wages are half of what I make here but I have to learn the language (I can actually) and adjust to that country. Ideally that country is great but I have never lived there but of course I would be close to my sister. She can not move here. I have reservations because once I move, I feel that I can not come back to do my profession again here. She is insisting very much. Any thoughts? I have no family here because I am from another country as well. My sister does not live in our own country. I have some friends here of course but no family at all. I am completely by myself. I have a very good job and profession that keeps me here.

ok so when i was 10 i invited someone i didn't really know to my party. she was the only one that came and i got mad at her and was talking about her to my grandma and she was listening and i didn't know. i saw her at school and i was nice and stuff. we're 12 now. she added me on instagram, so i added her on sc. but i have deleted my insta but i still have sc. anyway we had streaks and talked and stuff but then she just blocked me. i don't know why. her location is off, i can't see her story (even though i know she has one) she hasn't watched my story when she always did b4. i'm extremely upset bc all that me being rude to her was years ago and i thought she forgave me. i guess he's only added me on insta for another follower🙄 i'm very upset and don't know what to do. should i u friend her and follow her back? should i block her too?

he lives right next to me and goes to the same school as me. any ideas?

My brother and recently bought a single wide moble home. My brothers gf moved in with us. Anyway, when bill time came around, she asked if she could pay like $100.00 less than my brother and I because she only works 24 hrs a week. Now, she's a nice person but she's extremely obnoxious, so I don't like her much in the first place, but we always get a long. Anyway, I just snapped and told her she could either pay her fair share or she can go live somewhere else. I can't think of a reason she doesn't get a full time job. I think it's just laziness. Anyway. What do you think? Did I do the right thing?

This guy asked me out for drinks. I said "no I'm sorry I don't drink." He never wrote me back. I really liked him but I think he took it that maybe I wasn't okay with him drinking? Actually I'm fine with my exs drinking but I hate going out on the first date to drink, even if I'm drinking something else other than alcohol, I feel sort of uneasy about it...I don't know why...what can I do?

I've had this crush on this girl all year long. Too shy to talk to her. She emailed me and I should've given her my number but I didn't...she seemed interested and gave me her availability, even asked me to hang with her over the weekend but I ignored this, was I dumb? I asked her out on weekday and she said I didn't make it clear i wanted to hang with her & she was busy. So, Friday morning I send her an email asking her out for drinks that night, and she replied back on a Saturday saying something came up and she didn't want to go out for drinks. She seemed a bit irritated. Was I dumb for asking her out spontaneously?? Was I being a creep? She seemed so interested in me. I ignored her after that.

I emailed her to ask her out, despite her giving me her days off (the weekend) I felt the need be spontaneous and ask her out the day off (Thursday)) She got a bit upset and said I didn't make it clear I wanted to hang so I asked her on a Friday for drinks and she didn't see the email until Saturday and said something came up and basically said She didn't drink. She really liked me. Did I mess up???? I got pissed and ignored her.

I tried it and it felt OK and good first time just to try it. I tried it again just to see and it burned? Why did it burn and hurt second time?

So people talk about sticking fingers up them self's cuz it feels good so I tried that just to try it and it didn't hurt first time but second my finger was dry and it burned and kinda hurt. Did I damage the inside of my self or something?
