How do you feel about a wife that does not know how to do house chores or is bad at it?

I filed the last paperwork for my divorce on October 26 2017. They told me it would take up to 2 months for the judge to sign it and send my decree by mail. Is there anyway I can call the court and see if the judge has signed it and if im legally divorced yet? I live in CA

My dad had recently beat my mother while under the influence of alcohol (I'm assuming, as I saw him with beer bottles, but I never saw him actually drink them). Incidents such as this have been going on for years so far, and I really want it to stop. I told my mom that we should call the police, file a report, etc., but she said "It's easy to break a family apart, but it's hard to build a family up." My parents are constantly arguing and it seems like my parents just don't love each other anymore. My parents are great. They are both so loving and supportive, but I'm pretty sure they don't love each other anymore. If getting a divorce makes them both happy, then I'll be happy, but it's hard. Currently I'm a freshman in highschool, and it's stressful enough in highschool, but my parents divorcing would pile onto my stress.

After 8 years of this relationship I'm tired. I recently separated from my husband for one month and lived with a friend and he drove 17 hours alone to get me and our 18mth old twin daughters.
