We're seniors this year and she offered to have me as a roommate next year. Her parent lives up north and they own a home in the city. Her mom said my friend could live in it as long as she pays rent. The rent once split is under 400 dollars US and it's a three bedroom house. It's a block from the college I'm going to. The only thing is I could also just live with my dad while in college for free and it's a 15 min drive to the school. I'm split on what to do. I wanna move in but I also don't like paying monthly rent though I could walk to school and save on gas.

Last year I lived with 2 friends who started to really dislike each other. In short they made living with them very awkward and put me in the middle of it. As they both expressed their opinions so fiercely, I respected that they felt very strongly about the subject and were both resolute in their opinions that after living together they wouldn't want much to do with each other. Towards the end of the year, they both were more civil but privately would still complain about the other to me. This year I moved out of the city and both of them moved in with other people. However, now they both seem to be hanging out again and one of them told me it's all cool between them now. To be honest this has really annoyed me because nothing has changed or been directly resolved-they're both the same people and it seems as though they've just decided to be nicer to the other. I understand it's less intense living together but to me it seems like a complete lack of integrity to just go back on everything you've said when all their complaints are still true/relevant about the other. Most of all I'm annoyed because they didn't bother to be considerate towards me when I had to live with them and now have just decided it's not really an issue anymore. Should I flag this up or just move on?

So my ex best friend decided to create a bullying case and accuse 17 people of bullying.. YES 17 PEOPLE! Its a crazy long story, but long story short, she's constantly telling people their worthless and to kill themselves. She's jealous of me and shes even admitted it before. But I'm just wondering if I can get out of the contract or something because it states that if there's any type of contact there will be an automatic suspension or I could get expelled. So shes basically a ticking time bomb and can decide when I get expelled, if she lies and gets away with it. Please tell me how I can get out of it or if I can refuse to sign anything else they bring to me. Because if she says I contacted her in any way all my hard work through highschool could be ruined.

I'm a senior in high school who does orchestra and I've been feeling somewhat disappointed lately because of how much an outsider I am in my group. I used to study a lot, be a top student, and be fairly well known for it in school. For two main reasons: 1) I had to spend more hours than most people, studying/hw just took me longer for some reason, I never knew why. 2) I wanted to be a top student. I wanted to be successful and have all job opportunities available to me. I used every minute of everyday well, whether it was studying or doing something else. I constantly watched the clock, didn't procrastinate, stayed organized, had friends, did clubs, etc. Then one day suddenly my reputation changed. I started getting shamed for studying a lot. My daughter is Autistic and in high school. She has always had trouble making friends because of her Autism. Well, her school had a "peer pal" sit with her at lunch and be her "friend". This "peer pal" was my daughter first friend that she's ever had(my daughter can't make friends because of her Autism). Where I live the women don't roll solo, and you cannot have something to do with them individual to individual, one on one and totally alone. They all are cliquy and these cliques usually don't consist of various types of people. These 'cliques' that they're apart of the people don't think independently, and they dress talk and act the same and physically look alike. It was my birthday. My mother asked my which cake I would like for my birthday, and I told her I wanted a red velvet cake with only cream cheese icing. Hi! I'm 13 years old, and ever since I started online school about three weeks ago, I've been feeling ridiculously lonely. I havn't left my house since then. Its not like I have social anxiety or anything, I love meeting new people but I just don't have any opportunities to meet any! The trap is that, I'm always with the same people (most I'm not really friends with), and I don't have much time/ energy left to meet new people. How to make new friends in this kind of busy city life and really feel connected?

So, about three months ago I moved to this new high school which I though was going to be really nice. Turns out I was wrong, it's horrible and many teachers and pupils are mean. Also these mean girls have been spreading rumours about me when I haven't even done anything and I know the rumours aren't true! So now nobody really likes me and many people ask me if the rumours are true and I of course say no. But they just don't believe me. I skip class sometimes and I have a 3.4 GPA but she has a 1.9. She thinks I am her real friend but I just pretend to be because I want to look like a nice girl. She wants to be an engineer but engineers made good grades in school. Smart kids never make bad grades and if nobody believes me then ask a doctor, lawyer, celebrity, etc. I am co captain of the cheer squad while she sucks at sports.

Someone help, today me and my friend went to a really old abandoned place from the 7/80s and the door was closed, which was strange since we visited a couple days before and left it opened. I opened the door and found the door to be opened and we saw a big blanked with something inside it. My friend constantly brings herself down infront of all our friends, which gets kind of exasperating. At first it was okay because everyone needs to be helped, right? But she does it nearly every day and ehHH. I've told her I'm there for her, but when she repeatedly does it when I tell her that all those things aren't true, I just leave her alone, which usually results in a text from later saying I'm a bad friend.
