The price of a wedding ring really doesn't have anything to do with the quality of the relationship. Recently I have noticed how women have been bragging that their wedding rings cost less than $30. I mean, if it's what you want that's cool, I doesn't effect me in any way, but why brag about it?

I m trying to figure out if I should spend the money or not because movies have made me believe everyone needs a wedding planner to stay sane. I also feel like there are some tasks I d be more comfortable handling compared to others, so I d love to hear from people who used wedding planners in the past (even if it wasn t as successful as desired!). What were your top 3-5 reasons for hiring a wedding planner? And how well do you think they accomplished each of those goals (i.e. Was it worth the cost?)

I am planning a wedding at my dads house. The wedding is going to be about an hour from most of the guests. However, the closest hotel is 30 minutes away. Should I still book out hotel rooms, and provide a shuttle? 30 Minutes to the wedding, and 30 minutes back to pick up another group of guests seems like a waste.
